one of the things i love about spark and fark the most are how one's a literal unstoppable force that has decimated armies and the other is the robot son of the two biggest threats to their world and yet they both give off the energy of just some fucking guy to me. Like yeah they fought to the death once and then got over it, guys do that sometimes.

ur making me want to get into stej. whats the kicker what made u get into it. also what is it ?
AW MAN . i gotta bullet points this bc i will just Keep talking . i am typing this up twice .
- i worry the way i post abt it May be misleading . i have been having a really good time riffing off of the source material but i would recommend playing it either way !!!
- i bought the games bc i saw a few sonic mutuals posting abt it . the dev has a history with making sonic fan games and it definitely shines through in the mechanics/approach to the characters :]
- the first game is a 2d platformer with kirby-like abilities and sonic-like speed . the second and third are both 3d platformers that play a lot like sonic adventure
- THE GAMES ARE REALLY GOOD. i feel horrible comparing them to sonic so much bc i have never had as much fun playing a game as i did in spark 1 and 3 (2 is a mixed bag . everything stej2 does wrong is improved on in stej3)
- liek . sorry i know i did the bullet points to condense this but i cannot stress enough how hard it was to tear myself away from these games just bc of how good they felt to play
- THE CHARACTERS ARE ALSO GOOD. the dialogue can struggle to actually explain what is Happening but it is Packed with charm. if you enjoy silly protag, robots, and themes surrounding identity, individuality, and finding purpose then these games lay down a really fun foundation to explore.
some important disclaimers:
the first game is slightly buggy no matter how you play it . there are No accessibility settings and the late game especially is really rough on the eyes without any built in warnings . i am happy to try and give any more specific warnings if wanted o7
the second and third game did not set Me off in any ways so i forgot to check for accessibility settings and do not have any memorable enough experiences to warn anybody abt !!
the third game features a certain type of unreality that i have heard can be triggering o7 i can also try and give more specific warnings for that but idk how to say it without being spoilery

hello probably mibby :) first thoughts ever of the stej 3 ending honestly it took a second to Really sink in beyond "hey what the FUCK" but after that i was just like UPSET for a little bit. i was like this is fucked up!!!! i didn't want it to end like that!!!! obviously im really really okay and intrigued with it now but at the moment i was like THIS SUCKS!!!! I HATE THIS! the fact i didn't immediately like it and turned around to Really enjoy it kinda speaks volumes to how hard it hit me. that's kinda been the trend of my favorite things as of late in General so :) yay!
they'd get along very well i think. two robot girls doomed by the narrative
