The solar plexus. Our power centre, empowerment, reflecting upon your life and what is important to you but more importantly why is it important . Do you feel your power has been taken away, disempowered by others, by yourself. If you are kind and easy going you can feel you are taken advantage of and essentially lose your power. Alternatively do you struggle with your own power? You possess deep wells of knowledge and knowing. I’ve certainly felt this during 2019, especially health and disempowered by others but also how I react too, this is also important. We can control our power, by owning our power. When we can surrender and listen, we heal and regain our power. Own your power, express yourself, communicate. I’ve certainly felt shy and lack confidence in stepping into my power and can be too modest. I want to move forward, change and build my reiki, tarot and spiritual practice. I really admire those who step into their power and own it and express it. I’ve found spiritual practices like Meditation, 🧘‍♀️ and using crystals ground me. Citrine is especially good for this chakra, it’s an abundant stone. When I’m grounded I feel safe and happy (I’m very Taurean in this respect) I’m realising these practices are assisting me gain my inner power and feel more aligned. Reposted from @_bethanywalker_ - If we have the belief we’re only valuable when we give, sometimes we don’t even allow a reciprocal exchange because we don’t want the vulnerability of not being needed. ✨ If someone doesn’t need you, they can only want you. If we feel fundamentally unwanted, if we’ve experienced developmental trauma & we don’t know where we stand with people we love, this feels incredibly stressful & our system detects this as threat. ✨ The effects of over-giving lead to burnout & resentment. We feel angry with the world that this is the only way we can be accepted. Sometimes we push people away because either they can sense the dishonesty or we line up to people who #mirror & validate that we are only useful when we give, & we wonder why they have gone when we have given so much. ✨ #Learning to #receive can be uncomfortable because it’s simultaneously challenging core beliefs that say “I’m only [loveable, acceptable, valuable] when... [I give, I’m in a service role etc]” which means facing the discomfort of dearmouring & exposing ourselves to #feelings of #abandonment & #rejection.
