okay so a while back I mentioned I was really unhappy with the older designs I had for the pines twins, so I decided to completely re-do them. not sure why I didn't give them both glasses in the first place honestly. hey have you noticed how often I just draw characters standing in a white empty space

Bonus: they have scared Mahito shitless

Bonus: I hadn't realize that Sukuna threw an airplane wing at Mahoraga in that fight, so throwing things at their opponents, too.

how did appalachian!bucky experience The Stick Shift Incident in backhoe?

Oh my guhhhh what a good question.

I think before Bucky picked them up he was a bit embarrassed that his truck was too small for his guests. And also he doesn't want to be embarrassed as he is proud of his life and loves his truck. So he had very much set himself in a protective mindset of not caring if they were judging him and being very polite and not worrying about what they thought of him, because what he could control was his own attitude and he was going to be polite and professional.

For the most part, as Steve thinks in this chapter, Bucky is indeed "completely unaware of the unrelenting onslaught of seduction he is unleashing on Steve."

Though he was definitely hoping Steve would sit in the middle of the truck.

He was so in his headspace of professional polite he didn't think much initially about the stick shift brushing Steve's legs. Bucky is a touchy guy, his sisters are always all over him. So the ten layers of torment that touch starved Steve had around sitting close to someone was not something Bucky would have ever thought of.

He did like Steve right away and find him attractive, and definitely pretty sure that Steve sitting so close to him was a good sign. He made sure to ask if Steve had a romantic partner (nope, yay!) and to check for raging classism/ignorance (Steve passed that test, yay!) and Bucky was officially open to hooking up with this Steve Rogers guy from Brooklyn.

So then at the end of the truck ride, Bucky had come firmly to this conclusion : yeah, okay I don't have any sisters to take care of tonight, and this good looking guy is sitting wayyy closer to me than necessary, so obviously we should meet up after dark to kiss.

So he puts on the old Bucky Barnes razzle dazzle and says: “Nice meeting ya and chatting with ya Steve, I’m real glad you come down here,” Bucky says softly, looking into Steve’s eyes. 

And then Steve looks at his lips like he wants to eat Bucky alive and Bucky is like, "Is he going to kiss me right now? Dang, that's forward but sure why not, I guess I am here for it?"

And then Steve runs away at full speed.

And Bucky is confused but intrigued.

He's still of the opinion that Steve is this worldly guy from Brooklyn (which in many ways he is pretty worldly). Bucky really has no idea that the reason Steve has run off is because he's never kissed a boy and is terrified of physical intimacy and also desperately wants physical intimacy.

i think if jane ever actually met jeff she wouldn’t l be able to bring herself to kill him. that’s a child. he’s the same age as her sister, for crying out loud, and scars aside, he reminders her of jessie, too, with their same unruly mop of black hair she always has to brush out of jessie’s eyes.

and maybe it’d have been easier had she known from the start. but she’d spent all this time, all those countless hours of tracking and planning her revenge, imagining this boogie man. this unstoppable killing machine of a man who cared for nothing but bloodshed. she’d built up this image of what jeff the killer was and made it her mission to destroy that version of him in her rage.

but then she finally catches up to him and all she sees before her is a pimply preteen with his voice still cracking, wearing beat-up converse and playing on a tamagotchi and she just. can’t do it. no matter what he’s done, he’s just a kid. had it been jessie who killed their parents, would she have been able to kill her? of course not. and she knows it’s not the same, but she watches as jeff ducks behind one of the mansion’s pillars, mid hide-and-seek game with sally and ben, and he’s so much like her it hurts.

Almost back home!!! I’ve been away for two weeks and I haven’t had good internet connection. Looking forward to getting back home.

I’ve been quiet cause of it, so how about a shop/merch update!! The products from my shop have already gone through a round of proofs this last week after I placed the order (as some files had gotten mixed up). I’m hoping the products finish their manufacturing and are shipped to me within this next week or so!

I’ve ordered extras of everything to put up in the shop as “in stock” after I send out my preorders, also ordered a few items as samples. They had a higher MOQ (minimum order quantity) so if they turn out well, I’d like to do a giveaway with some of them!

congratulations i've never been a fan of sangcheng mostly bc i TRIED but i'm not really interested in their early days dynamic and post-canon i find it hard to believe it could ever happen. but the weird messy version which may or may not lead to wwx-jc reconciliation but imo cannot end happily if jc finds out about the whole jin ling thing IS interesting to me!! Actually I think I only like this if it doesn't work out between jc and nhs so I don't think I can call myself a sangcheng shipper now if I only want mess and an unhappy ending but you know. i'd read a fic about them now if this specific one existed!

In theory I'd be down for either, but I always manage to trick myself into wanting a happy ending by the end of a fic I'm really enjoying. I think they're both really exhausted post-canon and in most universes they just avoid each other but there's one or two where Nie Huaisang tricks Jiang Cheng into doing his homework, which makes Jiang Cheng feel needed, and dangles him in front of Wei Wuxian for sport, which makes Jiang Cheng feel wanted, and they're the only two major sect leaders who are both adults and not in seclusion so I can see them getting stuck eating lunch together enough for Nie Huaisang to develop ideas.
