but then i grew up watching my mom i saw her work independently, build her career both my parents did. i practicallly grew up without my dad, he works overseas. what do you mean i dont need a man? when i only see my mom work for us than my dad whos an OFW.

MY MOTHER filled that gap. she influence me into thinking that i dont need a man to build me up. A man??? Savana, when i dont see my mom crawling up to bed begging my dad to stay. did not shed tears, she know from the very start that her man, man's got to build his career, neverthless provide for us.

She knows her worth without a man physically proving she is. she represents me, influence me and so I am the reflection of her. she's my mom, hoping to have the same wit as her.

Today was the first day of school after summer break and just the thought of going back to hell made my head ache. But I was already at the door of my classroom...what a bummer. Upon entering the classroom I was greated by Yeosang my friend and Prince of Hala who looked like he just woke up.

"Hey, how was break?" Yeosang asked as I sighed and sat down at my place, Yeosang taking a seat at his chair infront of me.

"Short." I said as he chuckled and switched to a frown.

"Tell me about it, mom kept taking me to several 'tea parties' which only consisted of them spilling tea about 'Duchess Kwon's new husband' and when I thought I could finally rest and relax it's suddenly a day before school begins." Yeosang said making me chuckle a little as he straightened his posture.

"So what about you? What did our mighty Fire Prince do the whole summer?" He asked as I tried to recalled my break.

"I carried out my royal duties, attended several conferences, learned how to play the piano and accompanied my father on a royal tour around Halazia." I said earning a groan from Yeosang.

"So you worked during your break...you really don't know what summer and winter breaks are given to us for, do you?" he said as I shrugged.

"I heard we'll be getting a new classmate this semester." Yeosang said as I shrugged again.

"What is it to me?" I said as he wiggled his eyebrows.

"The seat next to yours is the only free seat left in class...so perhaps try to form a bond with her?" he said as I rolled my eyes.

"It could be a male." I said as Yeosang chuckled.

"It could be a she though...let's bet...if I win you get me chicken for lunch for a month and if not, lunch is on me for the next two weeks." Yeosang said as I squinted my eyes at him.

"So you get chicken for a month and I only get lunch for two weeks? That's not fair." I said as Yeosang groaned.

"Alright, chicken for a month for me and lunch for a month for you. Deal?" He said bringing his hand forward as I shook it.

"Deal."

After 10 minutes Professor Eden came with Yeosang's chicken coupon making me groan as he did a little victory dance.

"I'm having spicy chicken wings today." he said and was hushed by Professor Eden who then looked my way.

"Okay, Soojung take a seat next to Yunho." he said as I groaned internally.

"Okay!" she chirped and took a seat next to me.

"Hi, I'm Park Soojung!" she introduced herself to me who just shrugged.

"This idiot's name is Yunho, and I'm Kang Yeosang." She happily took Yeosang's hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you two!" she said as I shrugged and turned away from her.

"Don't mind him, he's not really a people person." Yeosang said.

"Oh! I don't mind at all! My brother is not a people person as well." she said politely with a smile.

After a long day in hell it was finally time to go home. When I got up I saw that my seatmate was stillwriting down notes.

"Soojung what you doing?" Yeosang who had grown quite fond of the girl asked her who just smiled.

"Just writing down the notes on the board, see you guys tomorrow." she said and I was about to leave when Yeosamg clutched onto my shirt and sat me down next to him.

"Take your time, let's walk out together." Yeosang said and I opened my mouth to protest when she spoke first.

"It's alright! I don't want to hold you two back." she said as Yeosang insisted making me groan and sit down nicely.

"Sooo, which Kingdom are you from? Are you a pure blood or a half blood?" Yeosang started a little qna session so as to not create an awkward atmosphere.

"I'm from the Moon kingdom." she said and was about to answer the next question when a call interrupted her.

"I'm so sorry, I have to take this." she said and went out.

"It's fine, take your time." Yeosang said before she left.

"Let's be honest, you think she's cute right?" Yeosang asked me making me roll my eyes.

"Why would I?" I answered causing him to snort.

"Then tell me why your ears would go red everytime Soojung started a conversation with you?" he said making my stance falter a bit as I cleared my throat and straightened my posture.

"What are you talking about?" I said with a more confident aura as Yeosang snickered.

"Your ears are turning red again~" he chirped and I opened out my mouth to say something when she came back in.

"I'm back, my brother is waiting for me at the parking lot so I have to go...I'm so sorry you guys had to wait for me but we can hang out tomorrow if you want?" she asked as Yeosang pouted.

"I actually have rugby practice but Yunho will be alone so you two can hang out during break." he said with a smile as I widened my eyes and glared at him.

"That'd be great...well see you guys tomorrow!" she said and waved at us as she ran out.

"I'm not hanging out with her." I said as Yeosang patted my back.

"Do that and her brother will kill you." Yeosang said as I looked at him with furrowed brows.

"I might have an idea as to who her brother is and I swear you won't want to abandon her."

Soojung's

"How was school? I'm sorry I couldn't hang out with you during break." I smiled at Seonghwa who was really apologetic. I quickly hugged him and chuckled.

"It's alright, besides I had some extra notes to write during the break so I was occupied." I said as he ruffled my hair.

"But still, I'm sorry." he said as I nodded and got out of the car after the 30 minute ride.

"No worries."

After dressing up and having my after school snacks I took a long nap...like a really long nap which caused me to wake up at 10 pm at night.

"I shouldn't have slept for so long." I muttered and got out of the bed and looked out my window, sighing when the garage was empty. Seonghwa went out yet again...but then again as the Crown Prince he did have to make sure that our kingdom was safe.

Me and Seonghwa were the heirs to the Moon kingdom but after the assassination of our parents we moved to Edenary a small country in Hala which houses the Eden Academy, a school for nobles and royals with supernatural gifts.

Seonghwa along with some of his friends from our kingdom were investigating the murder of our parents and many other nobles who were killed in our kingdom over the past two years.

I sighed and went up to our rooftop with a blanket and sat down on the stool. Whenever I can't sleep I stargaze or look at the moon which was what I was currently doing.

"I wonder how everything's like back home..." I mumbled as I frowned at the sky.

The sky was foggy again for the third time this week which made it impossible for me to stargaze. After I had enough of the continuous fog I raised my hand into the sky and started cleared the sky by waving my hand left and right.

I then proceeded to move the stars and organize them.

"You go over here and you, over there....." I whispered and snapped my finger causing the stars to shine brighter.

"That's more like it." I said to myself and looked at the glistening stars with a soft smile.

"The stars haven't looked so beautiful in a while...probably Soojung's work." Hongjoong said with a smile as he leaned on the car and watched the sky.

"Yeah...that means she's still awake." Seonghwa said and created a little shooting star in his palm and shot it in the air after he sent her a message.

After I finished my assignment I stepped aside from my study table and stretched my body and let out a yawn. I then proceeded to change into my pjs and jumped into the bed. I let out a muffled groan from my pillow and got up.

"I can't sleep..." I mumbled and went to sit by my window and a smile crept to grace my features as I caught sight of the clear sky. It's been a long time since I've seen the sky so clear and bright.

"It's beautiful..." I mumbled as I sang a soft tune.

"It was you, my shine light

True light that has come like destiny

Starlight facing each other in the night sky"

#TransparencyPost This year was an exciting year for us. In 2019, we released our very first book and became self-published authors. This year we both gained new clients! We also began our clothing line as a strategy to promote mental health awareness! We were booked for a few seminars/workshops/speaking engagements. Lastly, both co-founders of S.T.E.P.S. Counseling & Consulting decided to take a leap of faith and quit their full-time job to become full time entrepreneurs! This was all done while working towards completing our doctoral degree and dealing with life in general (including both co-founders moving, one of the co-founders becoming a #mom for a second time then battling with #postpartum and the other co-founder having a #miscarriage). So yes, we are proud of our accomplishments but it was not easy! There was a lot of late nights, crying, wanting to give up, doubt, etc. However, it was our faith in God, faith in each other and the #LOVE and #SUPPORT of STEPSisters & STEPSbrothers (our followers, friends, family, clients and customers). We are truly grateful for every purchase, like, comment, and repost! Still Kicking!

So yes. I am still around, and I do apologize for the maaaassive lack of updates so I’ll do a quick explanation.

Last Nov, I decided to try my first game jam with Riverlord. I’m pretty proud of what I got done in a month (placing around the middle of the pack which isn’t too shabby all things considered). However, trying to jostle writing, game making, school and just regular life was way too taxing.

I had planned on getting updates up come the new year (like seven months ago) but things just snowballed into a not so fun few months. I don’t like to share too much about personal stuff on here but my mindset ended up being focusing on schoolwork and family so other things fell to the wayside.

I did do some minor sketching, monster design for RPGmaker games and wrote more chapters (that still need to be edited) but I pretty much took a sabbatical from everything on here.

I am still working on SfAL and all my other stories and I won’t abandon those.

You stand there and your mind explodes all at once and its so loud and still nobody notice . All these questions start to overwhelm suddenly like how the hell youre supposed to forrget every single detail you shared with this person over your whole life or how they think its possible to ignore the thoughts that come into your mind and stay like forever to which you´ll never find answers to.Those questions like how would life have turned out only if I told him how I really felt or if he ever felt the way I feel about him or just ever wondered if he chose the wrong one .
