And, giving me more Duck Soup flashbacks, the stated reason is that the BIG bombs kill too many people too fast.

And Sanders is right there, in that political sweet spot he's allowed to occupy because he's a progressive who'll fall in line when the chips are down, saying this shit needs to stop but willing to call a genocide a "horrific war" for the optics. He's playing to stay in the room and keep doing the "harm reduction," but you'll forgive me for finding the strategy sickening under the circumstances.
