Unpopular opinion about the women of Titans :
Been sitting on this draft a while but I saw yet another post claiming Kory was sidelined in s3 so yeah. That’s simply not what I watched. There was an A and B plot. Dick had the A plot and Kory had the B plot everyone else fell on either side.
Kory:
IMO she gets more to do every season. Kory in s1 was more focused on saving Rachel than anything. We should have gotten episodes about her backstory but I did really enjoy everything we learned about her via her relationship with the team. She had a good plot in s2 that focused exclusively on her it just deserved more screen-time. There was a ton of scenes of people standing around in s2 that frankly should have been cut. Kory did way more in s3 than Donna,Hank,Dawn, and Rachel. Conner too.  I think what people actually mean is not “Kory did nothing all season” but “Kory didn’t date Dick and that’s the only thing about her I pay attention to.” Like just say that. I’m still not understanding how people are claiming she was sidelined in favor of the white Titans who were barely in the season? Anyway we deserve to see more of Tamaran and her backstory.
Babs:
Can we stop pretending Babs entire plot line didn’t revolve around Dick to the point where she barely even talked to other people? She was in many many scenes but I don’t know her. That’s not good guys. That’s terrible writing actually. There’s no way people want that writing for other women right? But maybe I’m wrong here cause people seem VERY jealous of Dawn’s writing. I liked Babs for the most part and I was really hoping we’d get scenes of her with the team but nope! That isolation was annoying as hell LOL. Why did they do that? Felt like she wasn’t on the show a lot of the time.
Rachel:
Rachel got a ton of screen-time in s1 and I think they did a good job using it to to explain who she was and what insecurities she needed to overcome. S2 her story was half baked and unfocused and then she vanished in s3 so she could bring Donna back...then they had her fail at that for some god forsaken reason. Not sure why people are still crying about the show being all about Rachel or the writing focusing on her more than Kory and Gar. That was only in s1 guys. She’s just been vibing in the background ever since. That being said Rachel does manage to grow as a person every season.
Dawn and Donna:
I’ll never understand the way people talk about these two. Dawn and Donna were barely in s1. Dawn flirted with Dick and got thrown off a building, Donna stopped Kory and did nothing else.  S2 they both got a generous amount of screentime but it didn’t really do anything for them. Dawn has never once had a plot that’s about her…she just hasn’t. Her life revolves around Hank or around why things didn’t work with Dick and that’s not good no matter how anyone spins it. Donna just was angry about Garth the whole season and then died. And do we even have to talk about s3? Blink and you miss Dawn. Donna was here for a few episodes, helped a little and then she left. I don’t get what people are ever talking about when they discuss these two getting better things than other characters. Where?
Rose:
There’s not a ton to say about Rose. She was a plot device basically and a poorly used one but I did sympathize with her seeing how her father manipulated her (and literally stabbed her eye out!?). Now should it have been that damn easy for Slade to convince her to kill people? Nope! But the writers cared more about the melodrama between the older Titans than explaining the motive of one of the main villains. We got her backstory the second to last episode of the season and it was rushed so they could spend a majority of the episode on Hank’s fight club sub plot. Made very little sense bruh. Zero bars.
Kom:
I felt bad for her the entire season. It sucked writers stripped her of her villain status but what sucked more was people refusing to accept her as anything else. The amount of people who were rooting for her to have been raping Conner all season. I just?????? And when they weren’t praying she was sexually assaulting him and stealing his powers through orgasms 🥴… they were flat out pretending Kom didn’t exist. They didn’t care about what she and Kory were learning about each other, they didn’t care about her probably falling in love for the first time in her life, they didn’t care that her parents were abusing her and gaslighting her and Kory their entire lives. They just wanted her out of here. The writers didn’t do that to her. The fans did. The writing actually set Kom up to be sympathetic but people refused. It was ugly AF. Anyway I did enjoy her alternate story despite originally wanting her to be the big bad- where she was learning compassion, forgiveness, love, and trust. I hope we’ll see her again.
Yeah that’s all I’ve got. Hoping for some good Kory and Rachel content next season. I’m assuming Donna will be guest starring and maybe we’ll get some more character growth there.

The way Teen Titans is unironically superior to Titans in terms of story telling, themes, and character development. 😭
I think Dick, Kory, and Gar's casting was genius in Titans (racists kill yourself) but the way the writers REFUSED to develop the literal main characters of the show after season 1, the side characters literally having more screen time and development than Kory and Gar put together, the entire main cast being sidelined for the main plot AND side characters in season 2 - which literally defeats the point of having a main cast, and s3 which functions as if s2 never happened and the main cast (Raven, Starfire, Gar, and Robin) is again superseded by new characters, side stories, and the main plot.
They need to stop focusing on new characters, and side stories that can summed up in a 2 minute dialogue, and focus on building the main 4 characters individually and as a team.

okay i know i sent in another prompt already but hear me out: 69 with kori. any friendship or ship ship is your choice, just 69 with kori
This endeavor was Kori’s idea, initially, but she still enjoyed sitting back and watching it spiral out of control. It was Dick, of course, who said a Titans reunion wouldn’t be complete without his original team, which led to Roy inviting Jason, which led to Bizarro and Artemis coming, as well. Of course, Gar had reached out to some of the other ex-Titans, which led to nearly all past and present members of the Young Justice team RSVPing. And then, somehow, the current Teen Titans found out—though she personally blamed Dick—and on the morning of the reunion he called and informed her that the other four Gotham-based young adult vigilantes would be tagging along as well.
The Tower had never seemed this full before, and it was glorious.
“We should’ve put a time cap,” Gar muttered despondently, falling onto Kori’s and Rachel’s laps. The sudden weight was startling, and Kori nearly lifted her arm from Rachel’s shoulders, but then he twisted into a housecat and curled up between them
“Sore loser,” Rachel said, a smile tugging at her lips. “Let them have their fun. We’ll beat them at charades.”
Kori agreed that they had a fairly good chance, but she was sure the inevitable Outlaw or Bat or Young Justice team would give them a run for their money. Instead of voicing this, she glanced over towards the crowd around the television. Wally had dropped out, apparently, leaving Bart, Bizarro, and a woman Kori assumed was Dick and Jason’s sister Cass to throw their avatars at each other. On the sidelines, Victor and Tim were conferring by the bracket.
“Twenty minutes!” Gar complained, but he quieted when Rachel started stroking his head. “At this rate we’ll be here for a week. Maybe a month.”
“Stop being so dramatic,” Dick said, leaning over the back of the couch. “Hey, you guys wanna play Jenga while we wait for the tournament to be over? Donna’s setting it up.”
“I would love to,” Kori replied, carefully moving Gar fully over to Rachel’s lap as she stood.
“I think we’ll stay here,” Rachel said. “Have fun.”
Dick inclined his head and turned, heading towards a snackless table. Donna was there, making the last adjustments to the Jenga tower.
“Just the three of us?” she asked.
“I can try to find someone else,” Dick offered.
“Hold on,” Donna replied. She stood and waved, and then Roy came over.
“Where did your hat go?” Kori asked, frowning.
“Jay took it,” he admitted.
“You can’t tell me you didn’t see that coming,” Dick scoffed, and Roy just offered a shrug and a lopsided grin.
“Okay,” Donna said, as she sat back down. “How’re we doing this? Boys versus girls? Outlaws versus Dick and I?”
“You’re trying to get rid of me?” Roy asked, affecting a shocked demeanor. “Why, Donna! How could you?”
She rolled her eyes. “You and I versus the ex-lovebirds, got it.”
Dick leaned over to Kori and whispered, “Roy’s got good eyes.”
“And yet he cannot avoid unnecessary property damage,” Kori sighed, perhaps loudly enough that Roy turned to her and gasped. She wiggled her fingers at him, and he rolled his eyes.
“I’m pretty sure most of that’s on purpose,” Dick replied. She lifted a brow, and he shrugged. “I’m a competitive spirit, you know. Gotta make up for my inglorious Smash defeat somehow.”
“Oh, of course,” she said. “Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll have your comeback here.”
“And if we lose?” he asked.
“We finish it the same way we started,” she insisted. “Together.”
“You two done with the speech over there?” Donna demanded, resting her elbows on the table. “It’s Jenga, not an active battlefield.”
“If it’s not Kori, it’s Jay,” Roy informed her. “Trust me, she’s way more concise.”
There was a commotion from the television crowd; Kori glanced over and saw Bart now standing, relinquishing his controller to Victor. Once the noise died down, she mused, “You enjoy Jason’s speeches, I thought.” Roy made an aborted motion as she added, “Didn’t you tell me that you adored his voice?”
“What,” Dick said.
“Ohhh-kay,” Donna interrupted, pulling Roy down into a chair. “You two can go first. We’ll see if Kori’s speeches are effective or not.”

God, there are so many problems with the serie DC Titans, but I watched everything and I want to give it a try, because it could be so freaking amazing and it's so annoying to see all that potential wasted.
I FREAKING LOVE DICK GRAYSON, and it's so annoying how everybody in the show works against him, everybody is so ungrateful, insensitive and blames everything on him.
His FRIENDS left him without a second thought, even though ALL OF THEM supported the plan and he didn't kill Jericho. I mean, yeah, he was careless, but it wasn't his fault.
Dawn said "Be Batman" and then got mad at him because he should be only what she wanted, when she wanted it. She acted like such a hypocrite. She's been lying to Hank because she couldn't stop being Dove but always acts like she's being forced to be a hero. She's supposed to be calm and rational, but she's really not.
Hank is inconsistent, he acts like a bully sometimes and blames everything on everybody else.
Donna is the best, I love her, but she was such an inconsistent character by leaving TWICE, when she was the one that wanted revenge the most (in the first time) and when, at the first problem, she called him. One of the best scenes was when Rachel reminded her that all of the old Titans were lying and hiding things from them too.
Dick telling the truth was such a weak motive for the breakup of the Titans to me... They could have thought of something better, because it really was not enough for such a fight. I mean, the old Titans supported the plan of using Jericho and the New Titans had literally no reason for leaving???
By the way, the New Titans are so ungrateful. I mean, Dick is keeping them at the Tower, yes, at a Tower that has everything, training them. I still didn't finish S2, but I do hope (without really believing in it) they talk about the fact that they all messed thing up when they left, because he was RIGHT, they still needed training. Rachel killed someone because she can't control her powers and Gar and Conner left a lot of injuried cops on their way.
Rachel is a character I love, Raven is my one of my favorites, but she gets pissed off that people are keeping things from her when she's been lying ALL SEASON about how she can't control her powers and how scared she is???
I FREAKING LOVE GAR. He was the only one who stayed, and I love him so much because of it. It makes me sad how much they put him on the sideline. I mean... The first episodes that he REALLY participated were well into S2. He has so much potential!
Kori is SO AMAZING, but she is missing. It's just like Gar, she was totally pushed to the sideline. Her character arc this season wasn't good enough, too "forgetable", not enough screentime to keep it really interesting, they didn't develop her character enough, and she is hardly ever with the rest of the team or has any screentime, really. But I love how she always stays by Dick's side, tries to understand him and call him out when he's doing something wrong, she acts more like her friend than the others. I want her to appear more, to be more present, because she's amazing.
Jason was not that great of a character really, but I think he had one of the best character development. When he fell, his character had a turning point and I actually got to like him.
GOD, DON'T GET ME STARTED ON ROSE. She started like such a badass, and then we find out that she's been backstabbing them all along, using Jason when he's at his most vulnerable. She was working with her father until she called him??? She framed Jason, she used him, and then she suddenly grows a conscience when he calls her out on her bullshit. I wanted to see MORE: if she was backstabbing them, show me how she started to realize that she's wrong, that she's working with the guy that killed her brother, that she's slowly changing her mind all along, not this sudden bullshit. If it was supposed to shock someone, well... It didn't work on me.
I get that Donna and Dawn had to save Gar first, but did they have to be so cruel with Dick? He is their friend, Donna has literally been calling him for help, he was their teammate and they treat him like he's not important at all. Hell, Donna is supposed to be his bestfriend, and Dawn, at least, a good friend.
That being said, there are so many great things. When they really explore The New and Old Titans friendships, when Dick talks to Jason at the rooftop, Conner and Gar's partnership, Jericho, etc.
I just wish the writters would develop their character and PROOF READ the script, use their actors and make a serie worth of those characters.
And stop blaming everything on Dick Grayson and start making them act like a team for God's sake.
I will end the season and see if I'll feel the need to vent more or will be pleasantly surprised.
I just want the show to use its potential and starts to be as great as it could be.
Please, give me Donna and Dick's friendship, I BEG YOU.

It’s the Misery for me
Tumblr media
We’ll see what happens in August.
A lot of you are suspicious as hell to decide s3, confirmed to have a huge Starfire arc, is the time to decide she must be getting sidelined. That doesn’t make any sense.
And IDK what it’ll take for ppl to stop trusting that twitter scooper with his “spoilers” about Dickkory not developing. It’s the same guy who said Superboy would die last season. Same one who said Gar would turn into more animals and get a bigger arc. Same guy who said Dawn would fly. Same who said Babs would just be a cameo. Same who said there would be Batman and Robin flashbacks. Same one who said Hank or Dawn would die etc.
But I should trust he 100% knows exactly how Dickkory will play out from start to finish? That Kory is dating this therapy guy all season even though the actor has been in New Orleans since March?
Yeah okay. Have fun with the miserable predictions. I’m all set talking about this.
