Marinette Dupain-Cheng leaves her home after having enough of how people have been treating her. To find out if Adrien Agreste can convince her to come back, you can read along. You will know it’s time to turn the page when you hear this sound…

Let’s begin now.

3 + 4

It had been a few hours after Marinette Dupain-Cheng’s expulsion from Collège François Dupont. She had been framed by Lila Rossi, a vengeful exchange student, for stealing test answers, pushing her down stairs, and stealing her necklace. Everyone had been believing Lila’s obvious lies since her first day. Marinette had had enough. She wasn’t going to put up with being the only person who knew who Lila truly was. “I have a plan on how to get out of here.” Her kwami, Tikki, went along.

The next night, she put the plan into action. She snuck into her parents’ room, grabbed her mother’s card, packed a suitcase, and left for the Charles de Gaulle airport to leave for Orlando, Florida. Her plan worked. “Now all I have to do is not get caught.”

5 + 6

That same morning, Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng, Marinette’s parents, woke up. Tom went upstairs to check on Marinette, but she was missing. When famous model Adrien Agreste got word of this, he called all of his friends to help. They spent the day searching the city, but couldn’t find Marinette.

Markov, the robot creation of the class genius, Max Kanté, tracked her down, but her plane was already taking off. Adrien spotted Lila nearby and confronted her. “You’re the reason Marinette’s gone.” “Hey, it’s for the best. Best for everyone.” “Really? Everyone? Or only you?” As everyone went home, Lila saw Gabriel Agreste and Nathalie Sancoeur watching. They were up to something.

7 + 8

Meanwhile, Marinette landed in Florida and got a room in Marriott’s Grande Vista. Along the way, Floridian citizens recognized her.

In Paris, no one was happy about Marinette leaving. After exposing Lila to the city, Adrien rallied his friends, Marinette’s parents, and a few other friends to fly to Florida and convince Marinette to return. They, too, checked into Marriott’s Grande Vista, but got dirty looks instead.

9 + 10

Marinette went to Panera Bread in Waterford Lakes Town Center for breakfast. Tons of familiar faces from various franchises were thrilled to meet her.

The group’s leader, Luna-TK, welcomed her with open arms. Marinette was grateful. “Well, I’m glad to call all of you my new friends.” “We’re honored.”

11 + 12

Adrien and his group began their objective. They walked to ICON Park to look for Marinette. When they eventually found her, her new friends confronted them. Adrien tried to explain. “You need to know how scared and devastated we were when we knew you were gone. We spent the rest of the day looking for you.” But Marinette wasn’t going to listen. “So? Just the fact that it took me running away for you to come to the realization that you mistreated me speaks volumes, and I’m just supposed to forgive you?!”

Just then, the group was forced to flee and hurry back to the hotel through pouring rain. They just barely managed to escape from Marinette’s new friends and went to their room crestfallen.

13 + 14

In Paris, Lila snuck out of her house and met several evildoers from across the multiverse. Made the leader of the group, she hyped up the villains. “We are gonna fight hard for this territory and it’s ours. Small turf, I know, but it’s all we’ve got. I say I want us evil folk to sail, to hold the sky! We’re taking this city! Alright, villains, let’s get to work!”

15 + 16

In Florida, Adrien made several plans to bring Marinette back that went wrong. On their last attempt, they were ambushed with painful projectiles and got back to Marriott’s Grande Vista severely wounded. Adrien knew they had to give up and go home. “We’re done.”

17 + 18

The next morning, Marinette got a notification about the state of Paris. Lila had tricked them into leaving so she could take it over. She called Adrien’s group to meet up at Avalon Park to work it out.

In Waterford Lakes Town Center, Luna-TK rallied up Marinette’s new friends to capture Adrien’s group to prevent them from making the world go on alert. “Are we going to let them get away with this?!” “No!”

19 + 20

Adrien and his group were found in front of the Florida Mall and cornered by the angry mob of over 8,000 of Marinette’s new friends. Luna-TK faced them. “All you have to do is admit to everyone that under those flesh puppets are empty black holes. That Marinette deserves to be sorry that she thought you could ever be her true companions. You do that, and things can go the right back to the way they were. But, if you don’t, you’re going to have to pay the price.” Adrien stood his ground. “Go ahead! Rope us! Cage us! Do whatever you want! But we do have beating hearts. I know trust is hard to earn, but a heart is a heart, no matter how small.” It didn’t work, and Luna-TK ordered for their capture.

21 + 22

In Avalon Park, Tikki grew disturbed. “I felt a negative aura. Adrien’s in danger!” Marinette transformed into Ladybug, then used her flight power up and took off. Outside the Florida Mall, Marinette’s new friends tossed a huge net over Adrien’s group and dragged them into a cage. Luna-TK grabbed Adrien’s lucky charm and prepared to drop it into a campfire.

Ladybug arrived just in time to grab the charm and call off the attack. She told the mob about the new order in Paris. “I know they’ve wronged me in plenty of ways, but torture and murder is not the answer. We have to go back to Paris and take the city back.”

23 + 24

Lila challenged them to a brawl at the Trocadéro. Marinette accepted. Both groups got ready for the battle and marched with speed and determination toward the Trocadéro. When they arrived, Marinette realized that her group was outmatched and needed to transform. After she and Adrien transformed, Master Wang Fu handed Ladybug the Miracle Box. She grabbed the Fox, Turtle, and Bee Miraculouses, and handed them to Alya, Nino, and Chloé.

Gabriel also decided to give them more helping hands by transforming into Hawk Moth and turning the rest of Marinette’s group into their akuma forms.

25 + 26

The heroes got to work, and within an hour, they had won the battle. Lila was furious, and attacked Ladybug through a portal into François Dupont’s courtyard. Ladybug used her Lucky Charm and got a tennis ball launcher. Using the school’s tennis balls, she overwhelmed Lila.

Suddenly, they heard beeping. Ladybug raced toward the source of the sound and found an explosive under Le Grand Paris. The explosive went off, and a fiery explosion covered the entire city. Everyone managed to evacuate.

27 + 28

Afterward, Marinette climbed out of the rubble, and her friends reunited with her. Lila approached and apologized. “I’ll gladly take whatever court sentence I get to make it up to you.”

The people spent the next year rebuilding the city, and even gave Marinette a grand welcome back. “There are so many people to thank. My old friends, who put in a lot of effort to get me back. My new friends, who protected me from danger, and stuck my old friends in a cage and abused them. But if all of you guys really went through all of this just for me, then what is there to be mad about now?”

29 + 30

As Marinette’s new friends went back to their universes, everything in Marinette’s life was back to normal and better. She welcomed new members to her friend group, started dating Adrien, was made the leader of the new Team Miraculous, and became a famous face in Paris. Also, Adrien’s guardians and Lila were sentenced to community service, Émilie Agreste was revived, and the Peacock Miraculous was fixed. Marinette couldn’t have been happier with where her life was. “As long as I have my friends by my side, what can go wrong?”

Sooo we're going to ignore the fact that Sonic did outrun a black hole in Sonic Shuffle? Also the black hole in Colors was an even more powerful black hole cause it was made out of Hyper-go-on energy, and Hyper-go-on energy is implied to be more powerful than the Chaos Emeralds. Plus Sonic had just finished fighting the Nega Wisp Armor so he was probably tired, but still that's a big maybe. Still Sonic has outrun an actual black hole in Shuffle.

Also Sonic's speed has been stated to be even faster than light, meaning that he's already faster than Mega Mewtwo Y.

In Sonic CD using the Time Warp Signs Sonic can travel through time, and in order to do that you must move at the speed of light without stopping. And Sonic has done that easily multiple times.

Not only that in Secret Rings, Sonic ran and got through Night Palace which was described to have Infinite space. And Sonic not only ran through it but outran it.

Not only that Sonic has escaped other worlds/alternate realities (storybooks) with his speed alone.

Not only that Sonic was able to escape Null Space, an inescapable dimension where time and space don't exist, a dimension full of nothingness, with just his speed.

Not only that Sonic was able to catch the Cyan Wisp in its powered up form which was moving at light speed and Sonic confirmed that he's faster than that.

Sonic escaped Cyberspace, a whole other reality that sealed The End, with just his speed alone.

Not only that but Sonic has fixed time itself with his speed alone.

And he did all this while in base.

It SCREAMS of Scary Poems for Rotten Kids and Monsters, He Mumbled, two storybooks written by sean o'huigin (this is how he spelled his name, all lowercase) and illustrated by John Fraser.

Scary Poems was probably one of my favourite storybooks as a kid because of how freaky the art looked. I think it was my dad's favourite when he was younger too? (His favourite was Slugs by David Greenberg, he would read me his original copy of the book as a wee babe.)

For some reason there are no actual pictures of the illustrations online except for a CD version of the book (???) and this one reddit post, which I take offense to because it leaves out the freaky pink goo monster. But you can see the similarities right? Idk if it's intentional or if Francis Coulombe has cited the book as inspiration somewhere, but just look.

I gotta finish this game and find that old book soon...

💐💐💐 "Printemps" Hand Painted Cabinet Set! 💐💐💐 my first build/buy CC! more info + pictures under the cut :D

hey everyone! so so happy to show u all my first ever CC made for build/buy mode :D it's basically a recolor/retexture of the S. Cargeaux Set with some flowers. I've always loved painted furniture and folk art and stuff like that so I can't wait to build with these/make more. These specifically were actually inspired by a picture i saw on Twitter of Taylor Swifts kitchen tho! hers are much more intricate (so are most of the reference pictures i could find) but I feel like in the sims that doesn't work as well (and also it would've been much harder!)

INFO: All BGC All color + style tagged (I don't really know if anyone uses the style menu tbh but they are tagged as storybook if you're wondering!) 20 Simoleons There's 4 swatches total for the cabinets, 3 for the upper cabinets, and 2 for the island, which i didn't do any gifs for (sorry) For the regular cabinets there's two variants with flowers, and then t a plain yellow and bonus green. For the upper cabinets there is one painted version, one plain yellow, and a matching green. For the island it's just plain yellow and green too. They all have white countertops!!

In addition to the new character bios, Sonic Channel now has a really cool timeline with lots of information in it. It’s pretty long, so I won’t cover everything, but here’s some of the most important stuff.

It starts with ancient history, including Light and Dark Gaia and the Ancients. Unfortunately, it doesn’t explain how they fit together. The Echidnas, Babylonians, Gizoids, and Black Arms are also covered.

Interestingly, it has the erased events of 06 in there too, which is cool.

Classic and Modern Sonic seem to be separated, with them even having separate character bios now. Knuckles Chaotix and the Game Gear games are not included. Strangely, Sonic 4 is listed as the start of the Modern Era.

Sonic Shuffle is surprisingly included. Sonic Battle is placed after Shadow the Hedgehog, interestingly. Sonic Rush is put before Sonic 06, with no explanation of how they fit together.

While the Riders games are included, the Storybook and Rivals games are not. Sonic Free Riders is placed after Sonic x Shadow Generations, while Team Sonic Racing is before Forces. Sonic Dream Team is not listed.

Finally, the erased apocalyptic future is included, with no explanation of why Blaze is there, but it says the future was saved and became a good future.

The Sims community is a place of big ideas, storytellers, content-makers, and creators of all kinds. Our players inspire us to keep looking for new ways to tell universal stories, and to continue to invite collaboration and creativity from all kinds of Simmers to help shape the game we all love. For this edition of You Make the Sims we’re sitting down with SixamCC to take a look at what inspired the Storybook Nursery Kit and how he and The Sims team brought it to life!

SixamCC (also known as Alex) is well-known in The Sims community as a custom content creator and 3D Digital artist. A lover of both video games and Japanese fluffy pancakes–a winning combination, tbh–SixamCC works in the creative field and spends his free time creating CC for the community he loves..

Like many players, SixamCC was introduced to the game by a family member, and knew from that first playthrough it was going to be one of his favorite games.

THE SIMS TEAM: Tell us about how you were first introduced to The Sims and what inspired you to start making custom content.

SIXAMCC: My cousin was a big fan of The Sims at the time, and she told me about The Sims 2 and how fun it was. She told me all about the endless possibilities and opportunities to tell every imaginable story with the game, which sounded fascinating to me. One day, she brought the Deluxe CD to my house and got me to install it. Ever since then, I knew it was one of my favorite games.

I’ve always wanted to make my own custom content for my Sims, but I never had the time to get into it. During the 2020 lockdown, I finally decided to try it out, and I found the process so fascinating and fun.

THE SIMS TEAM: Kit collaborations are some of our favorite things to work on, because of amazing creators like you who pitch a concept to The Sims team. As a creator, how do you approach creating a new concept from scratch?

SIXAMCC: I always ask myself what kind of stories I want to tell with the concepts I design. I like to go beyond just decorating a room. I think the game allows you to create your own stories without needing specific new gameplay, which is why I aim for my ideas to have something unique and interesting to explore.

THE SIMS TEAM: How did the idea of ‘legacy’ play into what you wanted to create?

SIXAMCC: I truly believe our most iconic Sims characters have set the perfect example of legacy; Bella and Mortimer have shared a story that has stood the test of time and distance, we’ve seen them in different life stages throughout the games. This is what inspired me to create this Kit—a space, or in this case a nursery room, where every legacy story can take place.

THE SIMS TEAM: What kinds of stories do you hope to see Simmers tell with this pack?

SIXAMCC: I want players to have the chance to expand their legacy storytelling in any way they dream of. I've seen some truly amazing family trees from players who’ve spent years crafting the perfect legacy family, and I think that’s just fantastic. This kit is perfect for kicking off a new generation and keeping it going strong.

For those who’ve never tried it before, I invite you to start with this kit . I know it can be tough to say goodbye to our favorite Sims, but sometimes that’s part of the fun of creating new stories. (And hey, you can always bring them back to life!)

THE SIMS TEAM: You've created so many wonderful items for children and infants in the past; what interests you the most about designing and making objects for younger Sims?

SIXAMCC: Making content for younger Sims is just fun. You can experiment with different silhouettes and bright colors, and still provide swatches and options for more serious players. I feel like my creativity flows more freely when I work on content for kids. I also love to hear from my community and they’ve been pretty clear about loving children's items.

THE SIMS TEAM: This kit has a real air of elegance to it; is there a particular object you knew you had to include to make this feel like an elevated nursery?

SIXAMCC: Oh what a difficult question, the truth is that each of the elements that make up this kit are perfect and I can't imagine any of them being left out. But if I had to choose I think it would be the canopy, I'm sure the players will use it to give that extra bit of elegance to their little ones rooms.

THE SIMS TEAM: Do you have a favorite detail or easter egg you’d be willing to share?

SIXAMCC: I love all the easter eggs in this Kit, I would like to mention them all! I won’t spoil them! but I think one of my favorites without a doubt is the hanging mobile where, if you zoom in close enough, we can actually see Bella in the hot air balloon. It certainly brings back a lot of nostalgic feelings from The Sims 2.

THE SIMS TEAM: You’ve collaborated with other Sims community members in the past; are there any creators you’d really love to work with some day?

SIXAMCC: I could start listing all the people that come to mind, and we’d probably run out of time for the interview, haha. There are so many talented Simmers I admire, both as individuals and as content creators, modders, and other CC creators. I’d absolutely love to work with all of them, but the truth is, I’m super shy and I always hesitate when I think of asking. (Some people are going to laugh when they read this, but I promise it’s true!)

For now I can say that I would love to collaborate with Juno Birch and Trixie Mattel; I love their style and I think something extremely cool and unique would come out of it.

THE SIMS TEAM: For anyone who’d like to start creating their own digital art, is there any advice you’d give them?

SIXAMCC: (Looks at the camera) You, yes, you, don’t overthink it, just do it.

Honestly, it can seem scary, but the most important thing is to just dive in and give it a shot. There are so many places out there now where you can get help and learn whatever you need. And as they say, practice makes perfect, right? It doesn’t have to be perfect on the first try.

THE SIMS TEAM: You answers have been so great, so let’s end on a truly tricky question:

SIXAMCC: This is a tough one because Jenni, from The Sims team, made me love the possum that we made for this kit, but I think I'll probably choose a sloth one because it's my absolute favorite animal.

🔥 Eggman

Eggman has been usurped too many times. Eggman has teamed up with Sonic too many times. Both of these trends need to stop, or if that's not realistic for a long-running franchise, then it should at least be a lot more rare than it is. If your story has someone else as the main villain like in the Storybooks, but Eggman is present, you could give him a different role instead of relying on the upstaged/team-up schtick over and over again. Think outside the box.

The issue with Eggman getting upstaged by other villains 24/7 runs a lot deeper than him simply not being the final boss in some games: I complain because the more it stacks up, the more long-term damage it does to his image. It leads to the misconception that he's a joke and not capable enough to lead a heavier story on his own. This leads to hack writers like Flynn and Stanley pandering to it by having their own villains talk endless shit about how lame Eggman is and how much more competent they are despite relying on Eggman's resources and achieving fuck all. Which of course loops back around to fueling that fandom belief, ouroboros-style.

Do you know how sad it is that out of all games in the series that are considered to have notably darker plots, Eggman has only been the final threat in a grand total of two of them (CD and Forces)? Do you know how infuriating it was to see the "Eggman (1991-1997) VS Epic God Monsters (1998-2009) VS Eggman (2010-2017)" meme gain so much traction in the community? Do you know how confused I was when fans claimed that Frontiers, the game that went right back to upstaging him with another villain, restored him? These are the consequences of doing him dirty for so long, and the themes in a story also become a lot harder to give kudos towards when they rely on screwing over the main villain for the millionth time, especially when they're sandwiched between other stories that are guilty of the same thing.

I realise that fans may never be swayed at this point even if Eggman were to be treated more respectfully as a villain from now on, but by providing less ammunition, it would certainly be easier for anyone paying attention to see that the image of him being a harmless buffoon is a load of shite. People can say what they want about the Pontaff era, but I know for a fact that some fans did start catching on to how great Eggman can be when he's allowed to actually be the villain with no strings attached.

First time in a long while I'm actually typing on my computer. I've been reading my old stuff and annotating it -accidentally very sassily.

Regardless, these updates have been verrryy..... slow? Not slow like bad, uh slow in the sense that we've been non-stop punch after punch, scene after scene with no time to breath. And now that we can we can really feel just how wound up and chaotic everything has been. Even if the pacing depends on real life time constraints, there's been so much buildup in the story to this moment from so many angles that now that its passed it feels odd? Even the narration change makes it obvious with the shorter sentences and repeated stucture. All the text follows two images -one a wider shot, the next and emphasized one- and it explains what we need to get out of them without letting us sit with the characters anymore than it deems necessary. It gives me a storybook feel and acts like a cutscene.

The first thing we get is another Game FAQ page from Rose; shes titled this passage ‘Rose: Egress’. Egress has two main meanings, the first is “the action of going out of or leaving a place”. This one along with her text explains some of her actions in Descend. Shes done. Absolutely done.

I am not playing by the rules anymore. I will fly around this candy-coated rock and comb the white sand until I find answers. No one can tell me our fate can’t be repaired. We’ve come too far. I jumped out of the way of a burning fucking tree, for God’s sake.

She’s taking matters into her own hands. So incensed she is that she breaks from her normal writing pattern and displays her emotions openly. It’s a little bittersweet, and I’m worried of her cutting off communication with the others.

The second meaning of egress is a tech term involving the flow of communication data. As her last act she ‘[has] used a spell to rip this walkthrough from Earth’s decaying network’, stored it in a Derse-branded server and let the Gods disperse it to any and all life that my also be doomed to play this game. Its likely this is how the initial connection to the trolls came about, long before they had access to this session.

We get to see the completion of some storylines.

The warweary calls another broken planet home, another cloth his garb. Land and rags fit for the wayward.

A villein becomes vagabond.

WV is lost. I think he truly thought he could make a difference for his brethren. Now the lone survivor -and how does that feel to be left alive- he's lost the rage that fueled him. On the battlefield his last action is to rip the head off of the Jack doll. ACURSED MASCOT that it is, the fact we've seen it portray Jacks state makes me wonder how and when Jack will suffer the same. Johns blanket flutters down forming the first connection between them. The fight gone and nothing changed, he wanders.

John has made it to Skaias surface and found Jade. We get confirmation that she is indeed dead. If in Descend John looked confused, John now looks sad. His frown isnt as exaggerated as we've seen and I find that sadder. He gets the ring from Jades hand for reasons unknown. After that he sees his first cloud vision and makes his way to that area of Skaia. Given that these panels happend after 'the recent past is recalled' command, we can understand that WVs and Johns actions are happening around the same time. Unlike with PM however, their paths arent destined to cross yet.

A mistress becomes a mendicant.

At the same time on Skaia we see why PM didn't show in the flash. She was too busy battling it out with HB, successfully killing him. Shes filled with just as much rage as Rose is, using the walkie to get this whole quest over with. Jack flies to her location and has CD exchange the package. I think hes perhaps a bit surprised PM managed to fulfill her part but in a maliciously gleeful sort of way. He may not be fully aware of how PM got those crowns but to him at least her sense of duty to her 'purpose' was far greater than her loyalty to the royals. There's also the underlying thought that he's the only one with power confirmed in his eyes. Him handing over the package makes sense. I think hes someone who doesn't like to be indebted to others and even less so to someone he sees as a pawn. With that PM has no more purpose in his eyes and the next time they might meet he'll have no reason to not get rid of her. John has flown over to the location revealed to him and PM spots him, still full of anger.

The mail is delivered. An obligation, satisfied.

There's alot that can be said about the exact words used for our exiles new names. Vagabond, someone who wanders without a place to call home. Mendicant, a chosen way of life rejecting the material to serve their faith in service of others.

I feel WV is an exile of circumstance while PM is a chosen exilement to atone for what shes done. In the past, fresh from the battle, she no longer feels the same joy for her duty after everything its caused. Its not until the future, and perhaps Skaias influence, that she gains a love of mail again. Even meeting WQ, I don't think she ever believed shed be crowned a hero. Perhaps shes come to terms with her actions and was prepared for punishment, only to receive acclaim.

The package is opened. Letters, read.

So many pages later and after so much destruction, John finally gets his gift.

The first letter is from an unknown sender, Jades penpal apparently. An interesting fellow with the weirdest use of British vernacular who rambles way more than anyone so far. The best we can glean, aside from having sendificator access, he might also be a player. How and when he and Jade started talking is unknown but supposedly Johns gonna meet him someday. Much like Jade, hes not good at explaining things but for him I think its less not trying to tell the future and more hes just like that. The second page has the list of gifts though its cutoff:

Jades also left a letter and it hurts to read. Here we see just how human Jade is even with her Skaian given future dream powers.

i dont see everything john, and i definitely dont know everything thats going to happen. but when i do know something, i always try to do my best to help people in the future! when im supposed to that is. youll get the hang of it.

Maybe its Skaia being selective to not give away the game (ha), but Jade can only see so much. At the time of writing she couldn't have known Johns sadness comes at her death. And she even goes on about how excited she is to meet him and show him around and finally meet her friend...

John cries.

Its not the same as when he did after his first Con Air reenactment; only a single tear as that frown continues to mar his face. Its a different sadness, a deeper one where you feel the ache in your soul that tells you the hurt will never go away. There's no way to find release from it as much as a full on bawl could seem to help.

John cant even begin to try processing the grief as a sword is pointed in his face. Jack is here for the ring but hes miscalculated. The present emerges from the box. Another bunny -the same one that has passed through so many hands and so many lives- outfitted with robot tech and the weapons from the letter. Each weapon matches to the kids chosen strife specibus: needles, a hammer, a gun, a broken sword. Combine this with the fact the bunny was Daves gift to John, Roses beloved heirloom, patched up and sent with Jade.

John must feel so alone. His dad has been missing since hes arrived here. He has no clue what hes doing in this game. Hes woken up to find his friend dead. And yet in front of him he as an amalgamation of his friends love. A reminder that together they are stronger. That they are not alone.

So the games and comics aren't really a part of Hedgehog University AU since it's a mostly chill college AU but some of the plot points from them are loosely incorporated! (Some more seriously than others)

-- CD happened when Amy first met Sonic and Metal during the big freshman picnic right after everyone moved in. Amy developed a crush on Sonic at first sight but Metal decided he was Sonic's rival om first sight aand awkwardly "kidnapped" Amy away from the picnic and attempted to flirt with her until Sonic stepped in and rescued her

-- SA1 was when one of the water systems started having issues and flooded parts of campus while Chaos (who is also a student) had a complete breakdown about something and started making scenes all over campus. During this period Amy was busy taking care of Birdie, an injured bird she found.

-- SA2 didn't really happen since Maria is still alive but there was a whole period during the beginning of Sonic's freshman year where people kept confusing Sonic with Shadow (even though they look nothing alike lol). The "faker" scene was a giant confrontation when Sonic finally met Shadow and they had a fight in the middle of the Quad.

-- Heroes and the Rivals games were some different campus-wide scavenger hunt events with different groups of friends teaming up and competing.

-- Shadow the Hedgehog was just Parent's Weekend when Black Doom showed up and tried to manipulate Shadow into thinking he was a good dad despite not interacting with him at all in like ten years and never paying child support.

- '06 occurred during Sonic and Silver's freshman year when Mephiles's twin sister Iblis set a fire on campus. Silver and Blaze nearly got hurt in the fire. Mephiles convinced Silver that Sonic set the fire, causing him punch Sonic in the face and Shadow had to break up the fight. They figured out it wasn't Sonic's fault, but never found out exactly what happened.

-- The Riders games are just random times when Jet and his skater friends challenge Sonic to skateboarding races.

-- The Storybook games (SatBK and Secret Rings) were plays of King Arthur and the Round Table and Arabian Nights put on by the theater department that Sonic somehow managed to star in.

-- Forces was a giant Nerf battle/capture the flag type game all across campus. Sonic's team was winning and Infinite decided it would be more interesting if he got Sonic out of the way, so he ended up locking Sonic in a storage room for six hours and a large part of the rest of the game was Sonic's team trying to find out where he was and break him out while Infinite's team tried to keep them from finding him.

-- The Metal Virus arc from the IDW comics was a campus-wide game of "zombies" where if you got tagged you were turned into a "zombot" (far less angsty that the real arc)

-- The Murder of Sonic was Amy's birthday party and it happened basically like it did in the game except it took place in different rooms on campus instead of a train and there was no big boss fight at the end. Espio did actually accidentally knock Sonic out and felt absolutely embarrassed about it.

I have the personal headcanon that Rui and Nene frequented their local library as children. Sometimes staying there until closing hours with their parents or by themselves, reading storybooks, screenplays, theatre scripts and random trivia together. Saving up their pocket money to borrow musical CDs and DVDs for just a while longer. Rui always leaving with a pile of books stacked up in his arms about all kinds of things that caught his interest and Nene, usually only with a book or two, helping him carry all of them home as she fondly listens to tiny Rui ramble about the little treasures he found that day. The librarians must have wondered why these two rascals suddenly stopped coming by in middle school...
