so hey guys i finished dungeon meshi yesterday and i'm still thinking about it

Tell me about Soup she looks so cool 🥺🥺

Alright, buckle up, i have no idea how long this is gonna be!

Soup is one of the oldest of the clones, being alive even before Shiro's escape from galra(back then Haggar just wanted to have a backup in case her champion died) - so she has a lot of experience in fighting..... not so much when it comes to stuff like. y'know. reading. she did pick up a few languages though! She knows english(maybe beacuse she does have some of Shiro's memories?? i havent decided yet) and galran pretty well, but can understand propably like 5 or more besides that - though she mostly listens and rarely talks herself.

Shes a quick learner and great at adapting to new situations! After shit hit the fan('the black paladins' happened) and she suddenly found herself in a new, unfamiliar world Soup started searching for other survivors - and she found Tashi, hours old and very confused, and later the other five.

Soup is independent(or at least tries really hard to be) and doesnt like following someone else's ideas, so at first working toghether with Tashi and the others was difficult - but she learns fast, and she feels responsible for their safety.

She appears calm and distant, but really shes afraid of letting out her emotions and hurting the people around her, so she bottles it all up until she cant keep it in anymore, and even then instead of processing everything LIKE A NORMAL PERSON she just lets it all out when no one is watching and the cycle begins anew.

Beacuse she and Tashi were the most emotionally stable people on the planet(its really not a big achievement when theres just 7 of you tho), they had to become The Responsible Adults TM. Soup is patient and keeps calm in stressful situations, but shes not great at long term planning and emotional support(an invaluable skill when dealing with four children) - but that's where Tashi expertise lies! They compliment each other and toghether manage to keep their weird little family relatively safe and happy(most of the time)

Soup loves cooking(shes nowhere near Hunk's level, but shes not bad either, especially considering the circumstances) - youre telling me food can taste good?? and not look like wet cardboard??? Holy shit!!!

She also collects cool rocks! Whenever she finds a really neat one she goes around showing it to everyone

The youngest kid, Taka, thinks shes the coolest person in the world(even if she eats bugs sometimes)

Theres propably more, but this is long enough already! Shes cool and strong and brave and i love her!

any photo or video of them together is basically ten clinging to her like a koala

he looks at her like she put all the stars in the sky but the same goes for mae

she has admitted in an interview that ten is one of her role models because of his talent and work ethic

whenever she needs help with dancing he’s one of the first people she asks

xiaojun once asked him who’s his favorite between yangyang and mae and you could see him malfunction for like six seconds before jokingly scolding him

fun fact! ten was the person she asked to go with her when she got her first tattoo!

its always interesting to see because you just see a gentle giant cheering loudly with this smol girl next to him trying to match his energy

he always makes sure she’s comfortable when they’re at a schedule

like we know how he’s really silly on camera but he’s also very observant and caring

one time mae complained about how her feet hurt from the heels she was wearing so he just picked her up bridal style and walked to the van without a word

They’ve heard abt each other from Kun and ten and greeted each other when they passed by each other in the halls but they never really had a chance to grow close until nct 2020 happened

Mae wasn’t in the Make a Wish unit so there weren’t a lot of chances to get to know each other while promoting either but it doesn’t mean they’re not friends

ten also hogs her attention when she visits the wayv dorms but we dont talk about that

these two arent as close as the others but not to the point where they actively avoid each other

whenever they’re together they just vibe

theres no awkward silence or small talk they just talk about random stuff

Alright yall theyre all students at the big university in ba sing se

Sokka is a political science/environmental science double major (hes so smart), suki is a public policy major with a womens study minor (hell yea), and zuko is psychology major and art history minor (hes a baby)

Sokka wants to help better his community, and climate change still exists in this universe soooooo when hes stuck between picking two majors hes like Why Not Bot

Suki doesn’t know what she wants to do w her life so she picked a widely applicable but boring major and shes a huge feminist so at least some of her classes are interesting

Zuko…. Wants to do something where he helps kids so hes kinda thinking about being a child psychologist? Or maybe sumn in social work… he wants to help kids that went thru trauma like he and his sister did

They meet… at a party… but its not just any party… its tophs 21st birthday party and everyone is just. Shitfaced. Zuko is invited by Aang bc they’re in the same religious arts class n that’s how he meets sokka and suki who are the champion beer pong team. By the time everybody leaves to go to the bars sokka is so drunk hes crying about how much he loves his friends and then zuko and suki take him to get tacos

Zuko works part time at his uncle’s tea shop close to campus and one day the next week suki walks in! and shes like hey I didn’t know u worked here! And zuko is like hi :D yeah! So sokka and suki start hanging out at the tea shop during zukos shifts and work on their homework and keep him company. He likes them both a lot but theyre casually dating and hes like :(( sigh

Soooo lets skip past lots of angst and pining and FINALLY sokka and suki clearly communicate they both like zuko and want to be with him and zuko is like….sounds fake but ok

They start things off slow at first like going to get food and watching Netflix on the couch and ending up in a cuddle pile and going to the park to feed the turtle ducks and so on

Suki is captain of the roller derby team the Kyoshi Warriors and they always go support her bouts when it’s a home match

Sukis roommate ty lee is also on the team and when zuko first goes to a match he’s surprised to see his high school gf mai there, who is ty lee’s gf!!! So they all hang out and support their kick ass gfs

Sokka drinks too much beer and gets drunk and almost gets kicked out for shit talking the other team too loudly

After the Kyoshi Warriors win the match, the team goes out and drinks and zuko picks suki up from the bars at like 2am and she cant stop telling him how CUTE he is and zuko is just like :)))))))))

And then they get mcdonalds

Sokka is like. Always busy bc hes a double major and a TA for two different earth science classes so hes in the library or tutoring center a lot and zuko always brings him dinner and snacks especially during midterms and finals

For Halloween they go as the powerpuff girls. Bc why not

Suki almost gets into a fight with some homophobic assholes at the bar and sokka n zuko carry her out of the bar and when theyre walking back to suki’s place she starts crying bc people are assholes and then zuko starts crying and then sokka starts crying and then they all get mcdonalds

They all take one unit pe courses together bc a) sukis gotta stay buff for derby b) both sokka and zuko have anxiety and exercise really helps and its one of the only times during the week where they can spend time together (they all have class/work at different times so its hard to get together)  

When they finally get a place together, it’s a 2 bedroom apartment bc one closet would not be enough for all three of their wardrobes

Sokka n Zuko got that Drip

Its also nice to have an extra bedroom in case toph or aang get too drunk to walk home

Iroh stops by once or twice a week to drop off extra baked goods from the tea shop even though zuko always brings some home after his ship

(when zuko tells him that hes in a poly relationship, iroh does not Get It. But who is he to judge now that his nephew is so happy? Plus he loves having sokka and suki around so)

Life in that apartment is v happy bc even though theyre all stressed out college students, there is so much love 2 go around

They love napping on the couch together

Zuko and sokka love cooking n meal prepping together

Suki loves leaving cute little love notes around the house

Like for example – zukos never seen dirty dancing. That shocking revelation leads to all three of them attempting the Lift – with suki holding zuko’s waist above her head, and sokka behind her holding onto zuko’s hands so they don’t lose balance. It lasts for a minute and ends with them on the floor crying with laughter

So yea basically…..they love each other n they live happily ever after

God! I can't take it. The dread is killing me. I'm losing all the blood in my fingers with how tight I'm squeezing the steering wheel. The honking around me is not helping. I can feel everyone's fear collectively as we sit in agitated traffic. Stress. Fault. Jitteriness. Indifference. Panic, panic, panic.

God, I hate being an empath. I can't even hear my own thoughts. I need to breath! Yeah. Take deep breaths. I'm not far from the U-turn lane. So what if traffic is moving 1 millimeter a minute? The storm can't be faster.

I have to get out of this situation before I have a sensory overload.

From my front and my rear, I'm surrounded by vehicles. I can't move back, I'll hit someone. I can't move up, because they'll think there's space to move and I'll be more stuck than before. Looking to my right I realize the road across the gate is fairly empty. That last car I saw go that way was 40 something minutes ago.

I gulp loosening my grip from the wheel but still holding it firmly in my palms. Taking a breath I turn the wheel and step on the gas. My car races through the grass and crashes though the metal gates. With a screech, my tires are finally rolling and I'm off. Towards the dark clouds like a fool running blindly into a lions den.

When I finally catch sight of the curling palm trees and the flying debris, my weariness is replaced by anger. We had a plan. A simple schedule. Prepare emergency food, water, and medicine, flashlights and documents, locate nearest shelters, fill up gas tank, clear the yard, and turn off the power. When the evacuation order is set, I would be too far away at the time, so my husband would get the kids from home and we...would...evecuate.

Evacuate.

We would meet at the nearest shelter with our separate cars...

Unfortunately, my...sweet...dearest mother decided to take it upon herself to pick up the kids herself...and NOT evacuate. Instead, she wanted her grand babies to feel safe during the storm and cook them a nice meal...at her house.

I almost had a heart attack when my husband said they weren't there. Instead, a note was attached to the fridge reassuring us that my elementary school kids, including a baby, did not infact disappear off the face of the earth. She wants them to feel less threatened and stressed over this "flood nonsense". Make it seem like a regular thunder storm.

Except it's not a thunder storm! It's a hurricane!

I told my husband not to worry about it, I will get the kids and be ok. The hurricane is suppose to be a bad one, the weather man said. Anything left undemolished by the storm by the end of this would be a miracle. Hopefully it won't be my sanity. I swear, she's impossible.

By the time I get to her house, the streets are flowing with water and clawing up her driveway like waves at a beach. I step out and my shoe kerplunks into the water. I groan, feeling my ears eject hot steam. I stomp onto her porch with a squish, squish, squish and jam the key into the lock.

I kick the door open and slam it shut, my anger seeming to accelerate as soon I step inside. I cringe a bit, noticing my youngest asleep on the couch.

"DON'T SLAM MY DO-" my mother sticks her head out through the kitchen doorway and spots me.

"-Oh, hi baby!"

I stretch a tight smile, coaxing my child back to sleep. "Hello, mother."

"You came just in time. I just need to get a few things done before we eat."

And there she is. Like always. Not worrying about a thing while marinating apple cider vinegar on peices of pork. Probably to slice into the-

Sniff, sniff.

-gumbo. Her calm persona was infuriating. Almost insulting.

"Too bad my son in law couldn't be here. He'd love to stuff his face with the beignets" she continues.

"He's at the shelter. Kinda like we're suppose to be" I say, honey tounged and all "which begs the question..." I lean in, my palms face down on the table. "Why aren't we there right now?" I sneer, bringing my voice down.

"Because there's no need to. You know that" she says simply.

"Maybe in your case, but not mine. You just felt entitled to do things your way. Like you always do. I had everything under control and-and you had me worried."

"You know nothing was going to happen to these kids. I knew nothing was really wrong."

"If you really felt so aloof about this, you should have stayed yourself. You can't just up and take my kids like that. We've talked about this."

She finally looks at me, turning away from her task. "I should be free to see my own grand kids whenever I want to."

"I would have probably excepted that, if we weren't in the middle of a god damn hurricane-"

"Momma! Momma look!"

I was interrupted by my two children excitedly telling me that a pie was on the way. All while showing me their hands, proof of a raspberry massacre. Animated. Passion. Triumph. Pleasant. I ruffle their heads with a quick "good job" and they ran off together. Their happiness almost cures my frustration. It does calm me down a bit though.

"Is is so much to want to keep your family safe" my mother asks.

Aaaaaaand its back.

"Is it so much to just listen to me? To just let me do things my way? I am in no less danger than you are just because I dont have the same... tools that you do."

"It looks like it puts you in a lot of danger if you have to evacuate the city. You could simply come here so momma can protect you."

"That makes me look like a normal person, mom. The streets are already flooding and a ton of people just saw me go the opposite direction. I look stupid and suspicious." I'm taken back to my teen years. Having a similar conversation with my mother. "Not everything can be solved with your protection. I can make my own decisions. But instead you undermine me and tamper with everything around you. Just because I dont have it, doesn't mean I cant keep my family safe or simply be a mother. How about, for once, you let mother nature do her job."

"Your father made this house with his bare hands, rehydrating himself with his sweat. No one is touching this house. Not even Cosmo's or Gaia or whatever." She huffs and turn away. A puff of steam emerges over her head, indicating she opened the pot of Gumbo.

"Well, when your the Matriarch, you can start making the rules around here."

Realizing an apology isn't coming, I groan restricting myself from wrapping my hands around her throat. Its silence between us, as there is after every altercation. Especially when the house is mentioned, cause it's always Papa's house. He passed away before I could even learn to speak his name. Mama always told us about Papa. How she met him, how he put her on her feet and built a house for her (it was told he even built the bricks holding this house up), how his devotion to his family and the love of his life lasted until death did them part.

"What makes you think I'm going to be the next Matriarch?" I ask, slipping in the kitchen chair.

"You will. It's a family tradition that you need to uphold. And you are the only girl conceived by me." She answers, this sounds almost rehearsed.

"Why don't the others take your place?" I ask, for the millionth time.

"It's only rare that a boy has ever been in place of a woman. And once a girl was brought in, he was removed immediately."

"If it's that simple then crown them and get it over with."

"Oh, do you think it's that easy"? She quizzes, slowly turning to me.

"Knowing you, probably not."

"Hyde is much more coordinated than that. If they really didn't think you were worthy, we would have known, but I always knew you were special."

Here she goes again. Hyde,, is supposedly the person that gifts the family with magic, life, and girls. It's the spirirt who thrones and dethrones us. No matter who we are. According to mom, the next Matriarch could be good or bad, Hyde has a plan for them in the end.

Along with Papa's stories, Hyde was always directed towards me because I was the only girl, excluding my half sister. Truthfully there was no way to know if Hyde was actually real. I'm not even sure if my parents have seen it. Mom would tell me tales at night of different women throughout our generation, chosen by Hyde and how I would be like them someday.

Perfect.

"Hyde doesn't give you this gift for no reason" mom reassures "they always have a plan. You can't see everything in a negative light. What if Hyde chooses Clio and you-"

I stop her at the mention of my youngest name.

"I'm not putting that responsibility on my kid" I say sternly, though It probably won't matter what I tell her "Especially if, no offense, she ends up like you. Completely dependent on Hyde's gift. IT didn't give me any when I was born, like the rest of you, and I'd like it to stay that way."

Silence once more.

"Perhaps you're afraid-"

"I'm not afraid-"

"-its okay."

"-Of this imaginary ghost."

"Sure, keep believing that. But when it happens~" she sings.

"When it happens to me, pigs will fly" I sneer, memories of that same sing song tone prodding at me.

She says nothing.

"Just let it go mom, it's just not meant to be. I'm not a child that you can hide under your wings when hail comes. However your gifts came to be, Hyde, the house, whatever, it must've skipped a generation."

She continues to stir. She sputters "but-but the family-"

"-The family doesn't know what's best for me and neither do you. I know I'm the only daughter to the Matriarch. I know I wasn't born with any gifts like my siblings. I know refusing my path makes me an ungrateful child and Hyde will handle me" I say reciting what I also heard throughout my life "But that's not my life. And I'm not defenseless."

She freezes. More silence.

"And, I mean, it's not like having voodoo is easy. It consumes you and it messes a lot of things up. This worlds order and the next."

"That's what the council is for" my mom mutters finally.

"Oh, right. The council. The same family who's just as dependent as you. Do you even remeber a time where you haven't used your gift and actually did things yourself?"

"Don't you ever think of letting go of this life? Doing things for yourself and not the family? Hyde? Papa's house? I notice how this changes you as you age. If this is the answer to our problems I wouldn't mind the sea taking this house away for a while-"

"Mama! Mama!"

"Wow, look."

I follow my kids voices and they seek for me, a glimmer of wonder and awe in there wide pupils. My 2 boys are pointing to the window in the living room. My sleeping child is now up, standing on her toes to see what her brothers are looking at.

As I begin to walk In the living room, they're rushing back to the kitchen. I take a peek and see a part of the lawn, including my rental car but the road and the neighborhood is gone. A large amount of visible debris is covering up the world around-

That's not debris. That's not wind.

I follow my kids. They've opened the screen door and ventured into the back yard. I race after them and stop in my tracks. The water barrier has followed us to the backyard. My kids are screaming and dancing in the sprinklers as the hurricane is trapping us in its second eye. The oceanic barrier is circling around is, refusing to touch the property. With my kids instructions I look up, the sky is dark above us like it's the dead of night, yet inside the barrier, its murky like a cloudy day.

I can't concentrate. Excitment. Curiosity. Shock. Chills.

I sigh as my daughter wobbles to me and I scoop her in my arms. I can see it now, worst hurricane in 6 years and the Crobitt house still stands. This is similar but not related to the instance when a pair of swings at the run down school across the house seemingly froze in the air a few years ago... CIA is currently investigating...

I gather my children inside, they were starting to go towards the rushing ocean and who knows what'll happen. I shut the door with a defeated sigh and sulk at the table. The beneits sit gracefully with their powder sugar and I worship it by stuffing it in my mouth.

"I told you..."

I look up. My mothers eyes are glowing that familiar bright green and she has that devious smirk on her face. She always gave me that look as a child as if she's trying to tell me something. That, or it's to prove something, which I still dont know. I dont think I ever will.

"...you're father built this house. No one is taking it from me..."

I definitely can! This au has been living rent free in my head since i started that drawing and I was actually sketching more stuff for the AU right before I got this ask so- I definitely can ramble more about it

This was supposed to be just a collection of a few hcs and now it’s a multi-pages word document the size of a fanfic so – Im really sorry.

I didn’t think a lot about their backstories tbh, though I have it in my mind that Luciano transition in his late teens and that he and martin either met after that or knew each other before luciano came out, lost all contact, and then met again after (and you can blame oxiosas fic for that yeah im not even subtle)

But I imagine them having some sort of meet cute and kinda progressing really fast in their relationship without realizing – yk, its just a fling, no big deal, yeah ive met his parents, yes I basically spend every weekend in his apartment, yeah I have a spare key now, ops I guess we’re adopting dogs and plants together- oh I think we’re married. Yeah. We’re married.

They live in a house in a not too big city with two dogs, one cat, one parrot and all the birds that Luciano feeds and names that aren’t actually theirs. Still, they choose the house with two spare rooms because they always talked about having two kids.

In this AU they can buy a nice house and don’t have to worry about money and can raise kids like the world isn’t ending.

I think right after they got married they got in line for adoption. However, everything indicated that it would take a long long time so they started talking about the possibility of trying to have a biological kid. I think luci was the one to suggest it when he noticed martin had been thinking about it but not saying anything for a while.

Lots of boring doctor visits and confused doctors looking at luciano and trying to process it like the dumb cishets they are. Boring exams and all that, but everything is on track eventually, luci pauses his hrt and keeps his jockstrap on the drawer and they’re googling the best positions for fertility on those weird cishet sites and doing it like bunnies etc etc

Getting pregnant the natural way after years of testosterone is not the easiest thing in the world, so it takes a while. But eventually it works.

Both of them are kinda freaking out with this whole first pregnancy thing. Martin is the ultimate protective husband, and spends way too much time on the internet finding out what luciano can and can’t eat, what exercises he should do, and going to every single doctor visit. He’s very committed to it.

Luciano has to drink non-alcoholic beer and hates life. There’s a single teardrop shed every time he buys it. And drinks a lot of lemonade like it’s the same as caipirinha. Poor guy. Martin doesn’t help on that, life isn’t fair, he buys his own beer.

But he also has to drive absurd lengths to find the weirdest fruit or make the most hideous, blasphemous pizza toppings because Luciano is constantly craving absurd shit. But poor baby actually really NEEDS that chicken M&M pizza at 8am.

They’re super proud daddies though, and both their instagrams at this point are just baby belly pictures. Luci had top surgery on this au on my hc so also. Lots of shirtless pics. He looks like an old uncle with a beer belly and he’s PROUD. Just. Baby bellies all over.

Martin picks the entire baby layette. Because of course he does.

Their baby shower is a huge deal though. Their dads are there, Antonio brings an entire trunk filled with diapers and tells everyone how many tincho used to need when he was a baby, Afonso is cooking for everyone and talking about how he’s gonna be a grandfather (!!!). Iracema (pindorama) is scolding Luci about his bad habits while also quietly being a super proud grandma. Zola (angola) bought toys because she knows that’s what kids actually like, Samero (Mozão) keeps asking if they installed all the necessary security stuff in their house – we will, chill, we still have some months to go – Vera (Tomé) is teasing Simão (Timor) about him no longer being the family baby, Fatima (g.bissau) is another one who bought a huge amount of diapers, Rosinha (cabo verde) is taking pictures of everyone and everything, Sebas and Dani are discussing if the kid should speak Portuguese or Spanish, Maria brought a huge pink plushy as a gift, it’s quite a party.

Once they’re late in the pregnancy, Luciano mostly spends his time on Martin’s oversized t-shirts asking for foot rubs and not getting much sleep because the baby keeps moving. Martin on the other hand is a little nervous about being a dad, but absolutely loves feeling the little kicks and talking to the baby all the time, except when its 3am and he wants to sleep but Luci cant because of it so he just does his best to keep him company. He mostly ends up falling asleep on his chest though and doesn’t help much

I wrote all of this but I still don’t have a name for the girl lol Anyway, she’s finally born, and if martin was overprotective when Luciano was pregnant, he’s ten times more with his baby girl. Tbh theyre both kinda going crazy with this whole parenting thing, both are overprotective, tired, and have no idea what theyre doing.

Zola and Sebastian are the girl’s godparents. Sebastian isn’t very good with kids so when he takes care of his niece he either puts on a tv show and lets her eat whatever crap she wants, or relies on Daniel to do the actual taking care, since he is good with kids.

Luciano and Martin are very much neurotic first-timers and have all this schedule of what their girl can eat and when and when she has to sleep etc etc.

When Zola takes care of her, she just ignores it and does it her way. She helped raised Luci since he was a baby anyway, he survived just fine and even married and reproduced, she knows what to do better than both the dumbasses, and they never even find out.

Afonso on the other had follows everything when he’s with his granddaughter, determined to be a better grandfather than he was a father, and the baby loves him so he’s doing a good job.

They’re a very cute family yes yes

She grows up well and happy, a bit shy maybe but very smart and sweet, loves the dogs and her aunts and uncles and granddads (afonso more than antonio though)

By the way, Iracema is soft like butter with her granddaughter.

When she’s about four or five years old they start talking about having a second one, considering the age difference and all. So back to doctors, Luci stops the hrt again and they go back to trying, but again it’s not the easiest thing in the world to do it naturally after years of hrt.

But god listens to the prayers of such good catholic family, and right after they start thinking about a second child, they receive the news they will finally get to adopt a baby.

Luciano is the one to receive the news, he’s working at home when the social worker comes to tell him they can finally adopt. He’s extremely happy, he hugs the poor lady and is barely able to concentrate as she explains the paperwork that is left and the details of it because he can’t stop smiling.

He immediately texts martin saying something like “CALL ME RIGHT NOW WE NEED TO TALK” and it’s in happy caps but martin understands it wrong and thinks someone is dying or dead but then his phone is what dies so he gets home as fast as he can thinking all the worst scenarios just to find luciano jumping on him with a smile for ear to ear. It’s such a shock he takes a while to react but when he does you have two idiots so happy they can’t function.

It’s another girl, she has big brown eyes like her sister and it’s a few months old.

They quickly reassemble the crib and paint the second room to get everything ready in time to take her home, and the next week or so it’s nothing but all the family visiting to meet their new baby.

Since they managed to adopt, they decided to stop trying to have another kid. Luciano goes back to the doctor do some routine exams so that he can go back to testosterone and the doctor just awkwardly explains that, well, that won’t be exactly possible. Not for the next eight months, at least.

He’s quite shocked at that, and takes him a while to tell martin. They just got a new baby and do they even have space to raise three kids? Eventually it just escapes from him and martin is shocked as well, but ultimately both of them are just worried about their place being too small, and once they relax about that they can’t shut up about having another baby on the way to anyone.

Still, it’s not easy to manage, martin is just as worried as he was with their eldest, except that this time he’s simultaneously worried about their new baby and about Luci’s pregnancy. Poor dude needs a break asap. So he’s trying to do most of the work of caring for a little baby to spare luciano from the stress, while also taking care of him as well as he did the other time.

Luci is more chill about being pregnant, he’s done this before, he’s fine. He’s even a little too chill about it, as shown in the art, he still wants to carry their kid on his shoulder and having a few sips of martin’s beer is no big deal and honestly he’s fine, he can help with the baby, and Tincho just needs to relax and it will all be fine.

Again, poor tincho needs a break.

Some things don’t change though. Them being super proud daddies who do nothing but take pictures of their kids and Luci’s belly every chance they get. And they’re really happy and excited to have their house full and this big family.

marvin and him become friends over time, jackie helping marv out and finding a small apartment to live in (the marvin isnt from his timeline but jackie doesnt know yet)

jackie being good at cooking making marvin meals since he seemed to not understand the appliances he was given so he would often show up with meals while the two of them talked, usually over stuff marvin has 0 idea what he is talking about such as current movies, social media, and so on. 

jackie does eventually find out about marvin having fire powers and he is THRILLED to bits about it cause he exclaims how he is like a superhero and now he cant believe magic is real! 

he helps marvin become more comfortable over time with his powers and each time marvin did a trick he would be sure to cheer him on and that helped ease marvs mind and raise his confidence by a LOT 

 jackie also learns where marvin came from and the whole ordeal about that and helps marv figure out his powers even more so marv can go back in time

he also was the one that helped marvin find a job where he can preform for others again and really just wanted marv to feel happy despite the situation he is now in 

jackie eventually ends up alone again though due to an accident with marvin and his fire magic. marvin leaving out of fear. 

but also while marvin was gone, he soon hears from henriks wife that henrik is missing but isnt saying much about it to not worry the girls. she at first didnt think much of henrik not being there but after days went to a week she worried, all past errors of her and henriks relationship aside. 

jackie shows up more and more at henriks house to watch the girls till he has to leave for university again but makes it known that he will be there for henriks wife to watch the girls if needed. 

jackie shows up often and the girls really take to him as a brother more than ever, him giving the girls gifts for their birthdays and christmas. 

he over the months becomes extremely vocal about henriks disappearance and gets it out there as much as he can that he is missing but no one ever contacts him or the family about it.

he still goes to school and lives alone in his messy apartment. its small but its home to him. 

worry gets to him and ontop of school stress he starts running and working out more to let things out, sometimes in unhealthy amounts. 

he has pictures of him and marvin hung up that they took on his phone, showing off new technology to marvin 

 he does hear from marvin again via written letter next to a photo of them and he is relieved to know that marvin is still alive 

but...

he gets his powers at the price of marvins death, marvin transferring his powers over to jackie since he trusts him. how marvin was “never much of a hero” but jackie can be. (  i wont go full detail of this again KALSDJFDSLL to save the trouble ) 

jackie gains marvins powers that are mostly elemental but his key one is electricity.

he gets hellbent on finding anti and killing him for the pain he caused to so many. to fix the past 

his powers are very influenced by his emotions similar to marvin

when he is happy tiny sparks form around him and his hair kinda does that ghibli thing where it rises up 

when he is angry or in deep emotional sorrow storms form with a LOT of lightning 

he does learn to control his powers though! but sometimes when he meets people and handshakes them they get shocked a tiny bit, kinda like when you touch metal or when static clings and you get a small shock sometimes 

 he one day gets in a very bad fight and has a run in with anti using marvins body as his own. he was asked to babysit before it happened but he saw a cat that looked like it was in pain. he was going to pick it up and help it but the cat ended up shape shifting into marvin and it took him aback. seeing his dead best friend in front of him. then “marvin” attacking jackie. jackie ends up making it out of there but comes at a price with a fucked up right side of his face being bloody. 

when he knows he is safe, he rushes to henriks home while trying to hide his face and get ride of the blood while using his sleeve. he ends up lying to henriks wife saying he got jumped but no one followed and that he is fine. but of course the girls see him but he plays it off as him “playing superhero”.

Taeyeon

Taeyeon would be that irritating sister that you fight with all the time. It would be fine if it was a normal reason for fighting but Tayeon gets on your nerves because she has to be involved with everything you’re doing. Your reading a book? Shes going to snag it from you and read it out loud! Getting ready in the morning? Suddenly all your clothes and/or makeup is in her hands as she forces you to sit there so she can get you ready! Thats not even half of it and it goes on and on. Taeyeon gets offended when you yell at her about it also, in her eyes shes just a caring sister. When the two of you can get along you go adventuring, taking lots and lots of photos. This translates into both your lives, she will send you photos while shes on tour and once when her tour overlapped with your birthday she gave you the holy grail of all gifts. She told you she was paying for you to go on tour with all of SNSD. It was amazing, you even got to meet other kpop groups. When you start dating Taeyeon wont approve of anyone unless she gets to pick! SNSD is off limits though, she will pick other friends. Theres like a three percent chance that you can pick someone and Taeyeon would approve. Once you start dating Taeyeon must know everything thats going on in your relationship. Too much, like shes even willing to ask about your sex life. Just..no. When your upset and its not because of her Taeyeon will do aegyo, and if that doesnt work shes planning a surprise to get your spirits up. It could be gifts, food, or even a small get together, or anything in between.

Jessica

Jessica is a awkward sister. You guys dont connect a lot but there are rare moment when you do. Jessica mainly sleeps when your around her though. The real fight between you two is whenever you wake her up, then you better be ready for a fight. She will yell at you for interrupting her sleep and throw things at you until you leave her alone. When you find her when she isnt sleeping you guys actually get along. She shows you her warm and sweet side unlike the rest of the public that sees her cold side. Jessica gives you advice and support. You give her all your trust and she does the same for you. Thats why when you brag about Jessica being so warm and nice everyone is surprised, since they rarely get to see it. When your upset Jessica will stop everything for you. You’re her sibling and she would do anything for yo, even if you interrupt her sleep. Anyone that dates you will meet the entire power of the icy princess. Anyone that meets your sister that your dating is going to feel unsettled by it and it will take a long time for Jessica to warm up to them, she will especially be cold to you if she doesnt like your choice. It will be pretty obvious and you’re going to have to corner her to actually talk it threw.

Sunny

Sunny is the angel sister. At least towards you. She can never really get angry at you, if you did something wrong or broke something she would calmly tell you its okay and talk it out with you. This is where most of your trust goes towards therefore. You’re never scared or hesitant to bring anything up to Sunny. When your upset she even approaches you like a china doll, scared that if she says or does something wrong you’ll break.The problem with this is your parents always see this and Sunny is the best daughter in their book, she could never do anything wrong. If you ever yell or try arguing with her in front of them they will always take her side. Which is mainly where all the arguments come from. Its one sided when you approach Sunny and mainly frustration towards your parents. Sunny will always be willing to talk to them therefore. One moment that was memorable was when you were in school and your parents were comparing you to Sunny, over and over again. Being her normal loud self she loudly yelled at your parents telling them your not her. When you start dating she welcomes your dates with open arms loudly talking to them, trying to get them to open up so she could get to know them

Tiffany

Tiffany is your sister thats made you a servant. She orders you around loudly, not exactly meaning to be bossy but she expects you to listen and listen well. If not shes going to yell as loud as she can and her temper will strike threw the roof. When you try to defy her she will use all her powers, including snitching to your parents. You get fiery angry with her but then its put out as soon as Tiffany’s temper rises. She mainly uses you as her doll ,which isnt much to complain about since she takes you shopping and pays for the outfits she loves on you. She spoils you without worry, except when you get in fights. Then you two will avoid each other like the plague. Like many other siblings a third person has to make you guys put your differences aside and forgive each other. Tiffiany, honestly, even you are very high strung. When you start dating she will find the best outfits for you when you go with your date. Whenever your upset she will take you on shopping sprees to boost your mood and confidence. Whenever there is a bug around your killing it though, take pride in that because Tiffany turns into a total baby when a bug appears and screams and yells until someone kills it. If you try to just set it free it will upset her more because she is determined it will come back.

Hyoyeon

You two are a true pair of sisters. Before debuting you always danced with Hyoyeon. When Hyoyeon had doubts you raised her up and pushed her threw. She will forever be grateful to you. You guys are joined to the hip though, there will be rare arguments but never will they last. Hyoyeon will be on constant call with you when shes away, taking photos for you, texting, and even thinking of you as she buys things that you may never go. You two together are a terror to those who dont want to be trolled. Hyoyeon trolls on her own, let alone having you with her is two times worse. Someone dating you is like dating your sister. Your sister comes first and if they ever disrespect Hyoyeon thats the end of the relationship. Hyoyeon knows the best way to cheer you up, no matter the situation. Its like you guys share the same brain. She would actually think it would be a great idea if you dated someone in SNSD. Even though the girls get annoyed with you because its like having a second Hyoyeon in the house hold. You often stay the night in their dorms, watching tv or even waiting for Hyoyeon to come home. The girls are used to it by now and even text you if they want something for dinner, which you dont mind, in the their group chat.

Yuri

Yuri is a sporty sister. She will drag you out of the house to go jogging, thats not it alone either. You’re her exercise buddy and her music buddy. Oh hows she your music buddy? She managed to get her company to let you join in on violin and dancing lessons. Sometimes you guys spend too much time together and get in fights, after a short break though you will be good. One thing thats a bit of a downer is that Yuri pranks you constantly! You wanted to brush your teeth? NOPE! Toothpaste isnt toothpaste its salted frosting! Wanted to wash your hair, oh wait, the shampoos hair dye! Yuri is very mischievous and you want to strangle her at times. When you start dating she moderately wants to know whats going on but dont over share. If your upset though Yuri makes you exercise no matter if you want to or not. In her opinion you need to stop thinking and just breath. After your tired as hell from exercise you both collapse in your room and talk it out.  Normally this actually helps, making you realize no, its not the end of the world. If it is serious Yuri will get the girls together to figure out a solution.

Sooyoung

Sooyoung is another sister that exercises with you a lot, but its mainly threw baseball. She would play with you when shes stressed or upset, this is mainly how you know somethings wrong. It will take you to sit her down to let her walls down. When they go down theres usually waterworks(tears) after them. Shes not really the sister you rely on, shes the sister you cry with. Yes shes there for you but not as a wall. Its more like your her wall.  When you start dating she will be over emotional about it, over reacting to anything that happens to your relationship. Honestly shes more worried then you and you have to calm her down. At times her over emotional state can get a bit annoying but honestly you cant get angry with her. Being upset with Sooyoung will only make her more overemotional. Now we all know Sooyoung is a bottomless put so your going to have to keep an eye on your food. One moment you would be getting a drink and your food would be on you tray the next moment you only have a drink, nothing else. If you make something and she wants it you will have to fend her off while eating your food, never to eat in peace without Sooyoung begging you for a bite

Yoona

Yoona is basically your personal cook. She tries new recipes all the time and your her test dummy. Usually its great, at other times you wish she would’ve forgotten that recipe. Yoona spoils you with food, making you gain weight at times. She will visit you often, even bringing you food most of the time.If your horrible at cooking she often teases you about this, although she will occasionally let you help her make food. Though since your her sibling she must protect no fire! At least if your a bad cook that is. When your upset Yoona will make you your favorite meal the best she can. When you ask somethings you will get a very sarcastic answer, which if you dont have much patience starts a fight. Since your sister often makes your parents food though, (ahem bribes them AHEM) they take her side. After all how could their sweet daughter that makes them food ever do something wrong!? Note the sarcasm. Usually Yoona is goood about making up with you first though unless you get in a major fight. Then you have to step up yourself, especially if she feels strongly about the subject.When you start dating Yoonas only opinion is that she has a new test subject, proceed with caution!

Seohyun

You found your second mom! Seohyun will be all over telling you how to live. No junk food! Exercise! Yadda yadda! Your parents never really watched over you because they knew Seohyun would take care of you. Honestly once you move out of Seohyun just gets worse. You have to tell her to back off and she will take offense from that. She always has time to listen to you though, no matter if she has or performance or anything. You might have to wait a bit but she will get back as soon as she possibly could. When you fight you both step up to apologize, surprising but it takes two to-wait thats a couples saying.....never mind that! Anyway you two can just hang out and normally talk and the conversation will never grow old. When you start dating she will be super judging your date and she will be sure to share her opinion. The main nagging she will give you is because she wants you to stay healthy, if your ever sick she babies you and brings way too much medicine for your to take. You honestly have to tell your its only the flu, your not dying.
