#string of bananas

Current propagation projects! My friend gave me some cuttings from her String of Bananas. I haven't tried propping in soil before but since they have aerial Roots I wanted to give it a try 😊 I'm really excited to see how all of these take off! I have 9 Philo Brazil cuttings so that will make a really nice full pot.

The ZZ leaves are rooting, I just need to leave them alone! There are some succulent leaves in the moss too from the floor in the grocery store. The Philo Micans was also a floor find from the store. Super excited to watch the Monstera Standleyana Albo grow as well. It's only the second Monstera I've had and I'll be able to watch her growth from so young.

Hopefully watching these babes grow will also help calm my plant addiction. Honestly considering starting a feet finder page or an OF but doing plant stuff 😅

Indoor garden update before I go to the nursery tomorrow:

And my succulent shelves are sooo pretty!!

I also have some little propagations :3 they're so tiny and adorable!!!!!

And in the greenhouse, my ivy is thriving!! The others haven't had much change

And my Moses in the cradle loves the greenhouse too!! She started growing so much more when she went in there, and I think the Brazil philodendron and polka dot plants like it too !!

It's so hard to get a good picture of this shelf but the anthurium is loving the greenhouse! I haven't noticed much change in the others though, maybe the string of turtles' leaves got a bit thicker?

Also my cats are pretty happy with their little garden! That's all until tomorrow eheheheeee bye:3

why does he dress like a cartoon character? well because he is one. um. it just makes my life easier when everyone has an assigned color. jotchie's is green. really though green is more his accent color when it comes to wardrobe, he mainly wears black.

generally i go for a bottom heavy silhouette, ironically for as much as he hates sleeves he actually enjoys pants. but he likes shorts too, so it's not a super hard and fast rule.

i basically always go for a bold pant over a bold shirt for him. his collar and earrings and face make the upper third kind of busy already, so i feel like bold shirts get too busy really fast. even the funny graphic tees get a little busy, so i'll sanction the fun colors and patterns for pants (his ref sheet has camo pants i'm just FACKING LASY)

keep it slutty, keep those puppies out, keep it color scheme and you've got a jotch 👍

I never got around to posting this sooner oops, but I recently had a special little thing come in the mail :333

I ordered an f/o locket, ofc had it made to be my wife, and I genuinely couldn't be more happier with it. She came out so perfect and I've been wearing it since she came home!! It feels like I have a lil piece of Split with me all the time now 💛💛

Even when it came in the mail I kinda imaged it like something she sent me so that way she could always be with me, almost like a long distance thing even though we don't live far in my mind

Also shout out to xenoscribbles, they have these listed on etsy and usually post the batches they make so if you wanna grab one I absolutely reccomend it ^^ its so worth it!

I did a little dubble check for you Bobbi (and for myself too lmao), about when Frey was exactly born. Cinta states that she was born just before the corruption entered Junoon. She tells Frey in the sequence when Frey leaves Praenost (in the distant memories sequence).

She probably only had a few hours to spare with Frey, and it freaking breaks my heart.

That's what I remembered, that basically Frey was born and Cinta had to send her away almost immediately. Not even a whole day with the baby she'd been so looking forward to meeting and raising )':

It's also one of the things that makes me think the Corruption happens because the Tantas go mad, not the other way around. When it entered Junoon Cinta knew she only had a short time left; the Corruption in her realm meant she was already losing her grip on sanity. She didn't have time before she'd fully lose her mind, so she sent her baby to somewhere she believed was safe.

And we can joke all we like about how dropping a fresh out the womb infant in the streets of NYC is distinctly not safe and probably a sign of Cinta's madness, but I like to believe she sent Frey to somewhere she was confident Al would find her, that she thought she was sending Frey to her dad. And maybe she did and something happened to him that put Frey in the foster system, or maybe she didn't, but either way I have to believe Cinta tried to get Frey to Al.
