I have a "studniówka"  [you can read it like this 'stoodnioovka' (it looks so ridiculous to me xD)] in less than a week, it's a traditional school ball in Poland. It's called that way because "stu" means "100" and "dniówka" loosely translated: "days". It's similar to prom, but we don't meet at the end of the school year, but 100 days before finals exams - then you have it "studniówka"! A big tradition on studniówka is outfit -for men elegant suites for women beautiful dresses, and you probably already know where is a problem...  Wearing a dress isn't a huge deal for me, clothes doesn't have gender but (there's always but xD) it's a big event in a life and on the studniówka you're supposed to wear the best the most professional clothes you have, and I just cannot feel that way in a dress no matter how fashion or expensive it wasn't. My parents already bought me a dress and expect me to go in it, but I feel so much anxiety just of thinking about it. I told my parents that I'm not straight last summer, but I couldn't tell them that I'm also nonbinary. I have spent my pocket money on secondhand suit jacket, I found in wardrobe suit pants and white shirt and I took my father's tie, only thing that I have left are shoes and a long conversation with family. Let's hope everything will go well.

Co sądzicie? Czy to jest fajna studniówkowa stylizacja?

Nie spodziewałam się, że kupię kombinezon 🫣 aczkolwiek przymierzałam mnóstwo sukienek takich typowych, brokatowych itp., ale moja figura wyglądała w tym słabo.. żadna mi się nie podobała. Może jest skromny ten kombinezon, ale poczułam że ma nieco więcej klasy i fajnie się w nim czuję. Wymaga jeszcze skrócenia i może innej torebki, marzy mi się taka bardziej szalona. Nie chcę iść z prądem i kupować sukienek jak większość dziewczyn z tego jednego sklepu w moim mieście, gdzie taka sukienka na dodatek jest na jeden raz, bo potem nie ma okazji na takie brokatowe i cekinowe kiecki..

Akceptuję taką potrzebę u siebie i to że chcę żyć takim życiem jak ja chcę xD

The prompts sounds interesting! Especially a bit of clones and Jedi dancing Polonaise because that would imply the Republic has a space!Studniówka (thus by extension... also a space!Matura exam)!

I can't promise you anything, but I'll have that prompt at the back of my mind and maybe one day if I have good enough idea I'll draw it.

[EN] Today, a wide-angle Studniówka [pre-graduation ball]. And additionally, a bit more from above. I like it. Although I could have framed it a bit better, I still like it.

[PL] Dziś Studniówka szerokokątna. I w dodatku ciut bardziej z góry. Ja lubię. Co prawda mógłbym skadrować ciut lepiej ale i tak lubię.

I don't hate my high school years - I'd even go as far as saying they were absolutely amazing, all things considered - but good gods the studniówka sucked so bad. both of them. as someone who hated dancing and also feverishly and fervently hated many people from my high school, and the whole setting and idea, goodness was it shitty. waste of time. even all the years that passed don't cast any favourable nostalgia onto it

Przygotowania do studniówki Mi idą pełną parą, komitet studniówkowy (including moi) robi bokami, a rodzice niezrzeszeni mają wszystko w dupie jak zawsze.

Jedna z mamusiek, Pani Artystka, miesiąc temu zaproponowała, że skoro ona się zna i umie, to zrobi ogromny napis STUDNIÓWKA 2024 i będzie ładnie, tudzież bezkosztowo, co nas niezmiernie ucieszyło, gdyż budżet na studniówkę z gumy nie jest, a kolejne wydatki jawią nam się niczym zgony Seana Beana w kolejnych produkcjach- niby spodziewane, ale nadal przerażające.

Pani Artystce przypomniało się wczoraj, że ojeju, ojeju, zostało półtora tygodnia i może ona by ten napis zrobiła. I ona, rozumiecie, pyta nas, co to w ogóle ma być za napis.

Pan Bór jeden wie ile mnie kosztowało, żeby nie odpowiedzieć, że no kurwa OPOLE 1978.

Day 9: Have you been anywhere recently for the first time?  How was the experience?

I must say I really like those questions. I started volunteering at the LGBTQ+ place and it’s been very nice so far. And I’m going to the school party today.

Podsumowanie Stycznia 2024

Dzisiaj kończy się pierwszy miesiąc roku 2024. Jak tam u was wasze założenia noworoczne? U mnie stabilnie. Robiłam małe podsumowanie I aktualnie wygląda tak:

Waga: -3,65 kg (różni się od studniówkowego spadku, bo tutaj liczyłam od 1 stycznia, a tam od 6. Tak samo dzisiejsze ważenie było poprostu wieczorem)

Nauka: 46 godzin, średnio 1,5 godziny dziennie

Binge: 4 razy: 1, 10, 22 i 28 stycznia

Przekroczony limit: 1 i 28 stycznia

Dni bez liczenia kalorii: 1 dzień: 27 stycznia-studniówka

Ocena miesiąca: 7/10. Mogło być lepiej, ale nie jest źle. Cieszę się, że studniówka wyszła tak jak zaplanowałam i spędziłam czas w gronie osób które lubię. Dzięki tej imprezie pogłębiła się moja relacja z przyjacielem I mam wrażenie, że był pod wrażeniem mojego wyglądu (albo to sobie pijana wmawiałam xD). Natomiast co do misia, to był trochę zazdrosny, ale jestem wdzięczna, że nie robił mi wyrzutów. Pokazałabym wam zdjęcia z studniówki, ale boję się, że ktoś mnie rozpozna 😅. Oprócz tego w tym miesiącu pisałam egzaminy zawodowe, które mi poszły genialnie. Także miesiąc wyszedł całkiem dobrze, zobaczymy co będzie w lutym 😊
