#stupid walk for my stupid mental health

First real snow we got here in my hometown and I had to go for a walk because I don't know when it will snow this much again ❄️

I have managed to go outside today by imagining Aziraphale having a talk with me, like he had with Crowley.

Me: I don't want to go outside.

Aziraphale: But you like the outside and it's really sunny right now. The weather is just lovely.

Me: But there are people outside and it's cold and noisy and the sun hurts my eyes.

Aziraphale: You are being silly. You have your headphones and sunglasses. For the cold weather you have a hoodie and the people don't care about you. Just go, it will be good for you. Have you tried listening to a podcast?

Me: *stammering Crowley noises* actually I will.

And I went. It's the only good thing I've done today. I still haven't eaten anything and I still struggle with everything else, but I managed SOMETHING. I just thought I'd share it with you all, because it might help someone else.

I was so burnt out I didn’t shower for 4 days, so today I took a shower and a walk and now I can’t focus on my work because I feel too sexy.

Going on a walk before it rains,

For it to lightly drizzle as you’re in a place you don’t quite recognize

And feeling the little fuzzies of water turn into massive droplets on my back as I’m lost in my own neighborhood,

Is a magical feeling to me.
