Don't get me wrong I love the angle of Teredio where Dion can, in private, relax and allow himself to be taken care of. All of my homies love the angle where Dion can allow himself to be taken care of in private

But for me a big proponent of their relationship is give and take. The two both live their lives in such a way where they pursue duty, keep up appearances, deny themselves their own wants/fantasies for the good of others. Not only do their moments of privacy allow for Dion to put aside labels and station/social standing, and to allow himself to be taken care of for once, but Terence is allowed the same.

Reading through some posts on twitter, I do feel like Terence is a bit left out of this conversation. I think "does he not also deserve to set aside labels and social standing, to allow himself to be the one who's taken care of by Dion for once? It's tough but an important milestone for the prince—who upholds duty and must be a leader—to hand some control to his lover and allow himself to be taken care of for once. I don't disagree at all. But would it not also be an important milestone for the knight—who upholds duty and puts his entire self into protecting and supporting this person—to allow himself to be taken care of and his desired fulfilled for once by this very person."

To me it is as important for Terence to get to relax and be taken care of and have someone there who advocates for his right to get to be a bit needy as it is for Dion to get to have this.
