There are so many hints scattered throughout the game that Anne and Ominis have this deep, almost unspoken understanding of each other, which, on one hand, we absolutely deserved to see more of, and, on the other hand, considering that Anne is Sebastian’s twin, you would think that Sebastian would have been the one to understand Anne the most. 

I can’t remember all of them off the top of my head, but the scenes that stood out to me the most were the ones where Sebastian convinces Anne to give the relic a chance after he mentions that Ominis knows about it, too (“Does Ominis know about this?” “He helped find the Scriptorium, where we discovered Slytherin’s spell book.” “Very well. If Ominis will be there, I’ll meet you.”), where Anne leaves the catacomb to get Uncle Solomon (“I’m sorry, Ominis. Make sure he’s alright, will you?”), where Ominis returns from Uncle Solomon’s burial (“She’s devastated. She just buried your uncle alone. Sebastian, Anne can’t bear the thought of turning you in, but…”) and the scene where Ominis promises MC to dissuade Anne from turning Sebastian in. (“I’ll talk to her. If it comes from me, she’ll agree with this decision.”)

What I wouldn’t give to see Ominis comforting Anne after Solomon’s death. (“Before I had time to talk to Black, I heard from Anne. I rushed to Feldcroft and found her with Solomon’s body. She was beside herself with grief.”) Imagine if Ominis and Anne’s friendship received the screen time it deserved. We would have gotten to see scenes from their childhood in Feldcroft, scenes from Anne’s time at Hogwarts before she was cursed, even the scene where Anne buried her uncle.

like actually. cmon. when charlie was in the hospital, they would spend four hours in the car together multiple times a week, and nick even said that they got to know each other pretty well. and i’m assuming that they talk a bit when nick comes over to charlie’s house too. plus they’re the same age and like they would just be great friends istg
