hey lovely! could i request some nanami kento head cannons? or a fic if you’d like! maybe nanami taking care of the reader when they get hurt? i just broke my foot and it’s soooooo boring. i really wanna see nanami and the reader in action and then the reader gets hurt and nanami goes BESERK. and then he takes care of them like the good dad material he is 😩❤️

Let’s start off with this… You aren’t doing anything when you get hurt? 

You need food? Sit your ass down cause he’s cooking this second. 

You made a pained noise? He’s up and asking what he can do to make it feel a bit better. He’ll get you anything you need (don’t ask for anything illegal though. He may actually pout cause he’s conflicted) 

Nanami even takes off work to take care of you. If nothing else, this injury got your boyfriend to take a break himself. 

Prepare for plenty of cuddles and kisses during your recovery. He’s a firm believer that it’s a universal curee. (He actually knows better, but let him be sweet damn it. He’s trying and it’s cute) 

If he catches you up, prepare for the lecture of your life. 

It’s all out of love. He just wants you to heal properly. 

Puts timers on his phone to track when you should be taking your medicine himself. 

If he happens to be out when it goes off, expect a text, maybe five. If you don’t answer in what he deems a timely manner, he will be calling you. Oh, you can’t answer your phone? He freaks out and rushes home only to find you napping. 

Just answer the phone. Save his heart from the worry. 

It was all going so well. The small party was something you had been excited for for a week now. Kento couldn’t care less, but it was nice getting all dressed up matching with you. 

Then it happened. Black ice on the step into the building. He wasn’t fast enough to catch you, leaving you to fall down the stairs as the two of you were leaving. 

After a three hour long ER visit, you were told that both your ankle and foot were broken. Shocker, as if it didn’t look that way. 

They put you in a rather annoying boot and sent you on your way with a prescription for some strong pain medicine. 

“Careful- Y/N just let me carry you.” 

“Kento, I’m not a- KEN!” 

Your very strong boyfriend scoops you into his arms as if you weigh nothing, giving you no chance to break free as he walks into your shared home. 

He gently places you on the couch, carefully propping your leg up just as the doctor told him to. 

“I’ll go grab your medicine from the car. Please stay right there.”

You groan, leaning back into the pillow that he so kindly put behind your back. “I don’t think I want to move right now, babe. No worries here.” 

His brown eyes narrow in slight concern before he rushes outside for your meds. 

You can’t help but feel slightly guilty. Kento usually doesn’t wear his heart on his sleeve, but seeing you in so much pain has him freaked out. 

He walks back into the house, carefully reading the instructions as he shuts the door softly. “It says you should eat with it. What can I make you?”

“Ken, I can-” 

“Allow me to cook, absolutely. Want some homemade soup?” 

His soup is always good. Still, you frown a bit at him offering to do so much. “Kento, it’s not that big of a deal. Just a sandwich is okay.” 

His frown puts yours to shame. “I have some frozen stock saved from last time. You love my soup, so you’re getting soup. What show do you want on the TV? Book?” 

“Kento Nanami, breathe damn it.” 

He blinks slowly before letting out a breath he wasn’t sure he was holding in. The worried look on your face makes his heart clench painfully. You’re the one in pain, you shouldn’t be concerned with him right now. 

“I’m breathing, obviously.” 

You can’t help but laugh. “Okay, smart ass. I’m okay. It’s a broken foot, not terminal. I’ll make a deal with you, if you’ll listen.” 

He raises an eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest, silently inviting you to continue. 

“Tonight we just have something simple. Make sandwiches with the break you baked this morning since we’re both exhausted. We can have soup tomorrow.” 

“But you’re-” 

“I’m not done,” you hold your finger up, silencing him instantly, “I just wanna cuddle tonight. I am in a lot of pain, so I would appreciate the top quality kisses.” 

“Top quality?” Okay, now he’s trying to suppress a grin. 

“Premium grade, if you will. My subscription has not expired. I always make sure of it.” 

His cheeks warm slightly, making him look away from your teasing gaze. “Okay, you win this time. Your usual sandwich?” 

You nod, now leaning your head on the back of the couch with the best puppy eyes you can manage while in pain. “..can you toast the bread?” 

He playfully groans as he walks into the kitchen before looking over his shoulder, smiling lovingly at you. 

“For you? Anything you want.”

Creature by half-life. As someone who isn't religious, it means being glorious and holy in my own sense. Also, as a dirty genshin player, it makes me think a lot about Xiao, who is one of my favorite characters lore wise.

For Q, I can think of one story with one of my favorite DnD characters that I just kind of shoved to the side for other things. Meant to be a one shot type deal, but damn near 6k words and it's not even close to being done. Gotta figure out if I should post that or not.

For T, I'm honestly not sure if there are any I dislike. I have favorites obviously, but I'm not one that fully dislikes something. I'm more against certain characters than I am tropes.

I’m a sucker for childhood friends to lovers. ❤️ makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Personally, I feel like my least favorite would be enemies to lovers. I don’t hate it by any means, but I feel like it’s.. overused and done the same way all the time.

For love languages I give people a lot of physical affection, but words of affirmation are something I crave. (I’m a Nanami simp truly.) I really appreciate any love language except gift giving. I always feel guilty and undeserving of gifts.
