i've been hard at work bringing more families from previous sims games to the next version of my save file, here are some of the Mothers! of course when I'm banning myself from playing sims, I just have the idea to play Pauline from sunset valley and just do a whole save centered around her

I think the plan is to play a bit more of sims 4 tomorrow with a private family, then dive back into figuring out the Pierces the day after. I just... really needed the break so I didn't fully rage quit.

And I'll set a little queue of Higas running tomorrow too.

📨 Random simblr question (for the ts3 simmers) of the day: Who's your favorite premade sim?

i was tempted to say thornton wolff or beau merrick since i always use them as baby daddies for my lady sims (they make some absolutely beautiful babies after i give them a makeover), but i think it might actually be ms. agnes crumplebottom.

i have a personal headcanon that she's on the ace spectrum, which i relate to. her traits in ts3 are traits i see in myself. i relate to her the most, so i think that qualifies her to be my favorite.

ursine gen 3: salmon woods!

yeah, so the imaginary friend thing mega broke my save, so the ursines have moved to salmon woods!

collin made a romantic interest in sun-young kim in shang simla before the game freaked out, so i ported her over with the family along with her brother and sister-in-law!

and river died :(

oh, and birdie's brother oscar came over to the house to mourn river's death, and immediately upon showing up, HIS WIFE AYESHA ANSARI ALSO DIED

Ocean Life Mod by MathModder (In Progress)

What you need to know:

This mod seamlessly integrates oceanic creatures into your game map, spawning naturally in the vast expanse of the ocean. Featuring Whales, Dolphins, Sharks, Seals, and various accompanying effects, the experience is enhanced as some animals gracefully breach the water's surface while others elegantly swim near the shore.

How do I make them appear in the ocean?

If your world already has the sailing boat effect like in Sunset Valley, they will appear naturally, spawning little by little without crowding your ocean.

For worlds that don't have this effect, you may be adding the "sailboats" effect to the CAW to make them appear.

There is another way you can do it without needing to go to CAW, which I will explain in a soon-to-be-released video, so in your save you can manually place it without having to edit the world.

How many files will there be?

Will be a maximum of 2 to 3 files.

It is worth mentioning that some files maybe will need to be placed in the Overrides folder and others in the Packages folder, they will all be specified at launch.

Is this mod compatible with other effect mods?

Yes, it will be compatible.

Bugs:

Animals always spawn at sea level. In case your city is very flat in relation to sea level, some whales might occasionally leap high and appear on land, but this seldom happens as land surfaces in worlds are usually a few meters above sea level.

a slight change of plans. i discovered @plumbob95 's sunset valley save file where she's renovated every community and residential lot in the town !! i'll be moving my sims into this save file instead. i can't wait to explore all the community lots as well as the made over townies homes. i love the new look of everything.

after a messy breakup with his first girlfriend, blair, cycl0n3 made the decision to get out of his comfort zone and leave sunset valley behind for a fresh start. initially he headed for san myshuno but being the socially anxious loner that he is, he couldn't handle the bustling crowds of people and constant noise. instead he found a small town just outside of san-my, got himself an "it'll do" apartment and used his computer smarts to get a job with a startup tech company where he has very little in person communication.

he did however get over his socially anxious tendencies just enough to go and adopt svynx from the local shelter.

(when i was a kid and only had base game, i thought cycl0n3 was a really evil sim because of his name so i wouldn’t let my sims interact with him EVER and the one time my sim did talk to him i deleted the save file 😭)

Sunset Valley was crashing and lagging too much and I had to move these guys into a new world: Willapa Valley!(fingers crossed that this will be better)

On top of that too, the toddlers needed to age up into children!

Ansel gained the Unflirty trait!

Dexter gained the Handy trait!

Viper gained the Mooch trait!

And finally, Calliope gained the Friendly trait!
