Gaia Born AU-

Sonic is like a big gold retriever. He’s happy to make friends where ever he goes. He was made on the ARK but was immaturely taken out of his incubation tank as an infant. He was raised by his brother tails on bygone island before they moved 5 years later.

His abilities include, Shadow Melding, Super strength, elastic arms and has the ability to sense others emotions.

Words Hurt AU-

In this au, Earth is decaying, the planet slowly losing its ability to sustain life due to mankind’s lack of care to it. To try and survive, they attempted to move people to planet mobius as it held similar conditions as earth. The mobians at first welcomed them happily, happy to help those in need. Eventually, the humans began trying to repeat their old mistakes and began digging into mobius and setting up machines to harvest from it to try and save Earth. The planet didn’t handle this as well as earth once did, machines quickly backfiring and any mobians nearby during the incidents quickly falling ill. That’s how the infections started.

Sonic’s parents were one of the few first mobians infected, having lost them due to them going into the second form of the illness that’s caused from starvation. They’d been “quarantined” and left without food or an energy source for too long. He was only a toddler when this happened. He’s now part of Vanilla’s secret organization that helps infected mobians survive outside of the homes they’d been kicked out of due to fear. Sonic himself works as a secret delivery boy and tends to travel to make sure infected mobians have access to food and water and even just simple pleasantries like games and toys. He met Tails as a 4 yr old who’d been born from infected parents, taking care of him when they weren’t. Currently Sonic is 17 and Tails is 8.

Sonic is mostly his same ole usual self except he’s a lot less social. He doesn’t talk to anyone except for Tails, Vanilla, and sometimes Cream. He was naturally born with his super speed but keeps it hidden due to not wanting to be mistaken as an infected. He still has to fight Eggman as the mad doctor tries to manipulate both uninfected and infected mobians’ fears and resentment toward each other. He has a civilian disguise named Nicky so no one recognizes him as the superspeedy hero. He’s a bit more easily agitated but only because he doesn’t get enough sleep with his work.

Sonic’s right eye is always tearing up, not because he’s emotional but because of repeated exposure to infectious spores. The spores can only infect others if inhaled or through exposed open wounds. Hes naturally immune to the illness, but he doesn’t know that, and wouldn’t ever take chances on it. Whenever he gets injured, he disinfects the wound immediately and patches it up like others would in hopes to avoid spore-infection.

Infected mobians tend to live in abandoned spaces that their cities and towns assigned for them to live. Infected mobians feed off energy, whether that be electricity, emotions, powerful items, etc, but can also eat normal foods just fine. They need normal food to keep sane and prevent them from going into the second form that attacks anything with energy in it. Only the second form can infect others directly, making it the most dangerous and is an automatic kill-on-sight if seen. No one knows yet if you can change infected back to normal after they’ve transformed. Vanilla takes care of transformed infected when Sonic reports the incidents.

Mobians aren’t the only things infected, plant and wildlife have been mutated by the illness aswell. The symptoms of the infection is body mutations, a blue tongue, and increased hunger and thirst. Mobians born from infected parents can’t go into the second form but they become feral without food. Bites from hostile born-infected mobians are less likely to spread the infection but it isn’t impossible.

Imagine. Barry loses his powers. Suddenly his heartrate is going normal human speeds again. Still panic speed bc he's freaking out, but like. Human panic

Because now it means Barry is suddenly much less capable of protecting himself. And might be in danger. And Snart has no info on his location or the situation

it was a "clark and bruce meet at the lex gala and go home together" fic where they start dating while batman is still investigating superman, neither of them knowing about each others' secret identities. they date for a while, actually get really close to each other, until one day bruce gives clark a cell phone. clark thinks nothing of it, happy with their relationship and actually considering how to tell bruce he wants to take things to the next level, when he hears a crime and flies off to stop it before heading home. bruce, unbeknownst to clark, had the phone set to track his location, and is watching the tracker when he goes superspeedy, and puts the pieces together that clark is superman. he's disgusted, betrayed, he hates superman and everything superman stands for, and he confronts clark about his secret identity. he isnt kind about it either-- i remember him pushing clark up against the wall, hitting him to prove his super strength and resilience, and basically telling him they were through because he was a liar and an alien. eventually bruce comes to regret how he acted, and they get back together. it was posted 2022 or before. some of the proof bruce used was sex related, once he slapped clark on the ass while they were having sex and it didnt leave a mark like it should which didnt stick out to him at the time but went towards proof he was invulnerable, and there was a tkme where clark broke the bed and nearly cracked bruce's hip while riding him that made bruce go "ok youre too enthusiastic youre not allowed on top anymore" until later when he want "ohhhh wait. oh my god. that was super strength. holy shit"

i remember it being good and i wanted to revisit it to reread the scene where they had a falling out but i cant find it anywhere on ao3 or in my history

Y'ever think about how Superman gets mail?

I mean Superman, the guy who lives in a crystal castle at the south pole, like, how does he get his mail?

I know he's not getting coupon books or credit card offers, but I'm sure he gets fan letters, thank you cards, updates after a rescue, Christmas cards from victims and bystanders and strangers, things like that.

Because I bet nobody delivers mail to Antartica. The 12 people who are there probably don't even get mail.

He must visit the mail office as far south as it gets without crossing that ocean. He probably always has a lot of mail, but around the holidays it must get insane. He flies up to his regular office and the people there just go, "Hey, Supes. We loaded all of your mail into that truck. Just go ahead and bring it back when you're done."

And of course he's like, "Thanks, you guys are the real heroes," and just puts a whole truck on his shoulders and leisurely flies south over the water.

100% he reads all of it. When it's 3am in Metropolis he zips down and goes through it all in a leisurely superspeedy way, so careful with the papers, gentle and smiling at each of them. He's got a hundred filing cabinets he keeps everything in, never throwing away a single letter, even the mean ones.

He writes back, and he has to do that in semi-normal speed, but he loves writing back. He can't always, but he loves it.

I have the same amount of information about One Minute War as everyone else so I'm not sure yet if the speedsters will just be fighting superspeedy drones and robots and a singular evil speedster with speedy dogs or if there will be entire battalions of speedsters.

But if it's the latter and they are fighting real breathing sentient living beings then I hope OMW ends with Wally, Bart and Ace starting a revolution.

The core of the Flash family has been and always will be love. And it's easy to fight violence with violence and sometimes it's necessary but speedsters try. They always try, no matter how naive it makes them look or how hopeless the situation seems, they will always try love first.

I want to see the boys leading a revolution of pissed off soldiers tired of taking orders. I want to see the boys leading the march. Yeah, march. I want them to march in because there is nothing more terrifying than a speedster taking their time to get to you. That's a speedster who already knows that they've won.

Day 9 of Downpour

Rivulet puts the ball in the goal and suddenly the route is over. Artificer achieves her goal and suddenly the route is over.

Now that I have the rarefactor cell, it's holding it on the main menu instead of the bubble plant! Such a cool detail

I went from Chimney Canopy down to Industrial Complex, and decided to check out the Pipeyard. I ended up finding a new gate from within the region, but it was to Sky Islands which is the opposite direction to where I wanted to be, so when I died I went elsewhere and found a gate to the...subterranean...ew

Shelter failures still happen even in this long-cycled state. Everything was underground so nothing much happened from the intermittent rain other than screen shaking. I do know there is a gate to Shoreline from it, which I went up to and now I'm in Shoreline. There are some long greeny water lizards in the water parts of pipeyard and subterranean, and some in shoreline.

I apparently can't just give Moon the thing, I have to go into her new region to activate it -_- this is gonna be annoying

Actually no I like this region it's cool. It kind of reminds me of subnautica

The new region contains at least one giant jellyfish. There's a lot of swimming, but activating the cell makes it superspeedy and fun.

There was a leviathan but the cell had run out so it chomped me and I died, but the cell exploded with a round screen-warpy effect and killed it! I didn't know they could die

I left the game to write this down and when I came back it had floated in such a way that it was completely straight and had straight fins almost like T-posing

I got the cell to the room, and when everything activated I got whooshed out of the area by water and ended up somewhere snowy. It has Aether Ridge vibes. It *almost* makes me want to try that region again except that said region is extremely aggravating.

Moon is saved! She's starting repairs, and broadcast to Pebbles at the end and I was nearly crying tears. I know pebs is dying but pls pls pls let him reply...

He didn't reply, but the ending art showed him still alive and getting a message. Yay he knows it wasn't in vain!

And now the route is over and the menu art is of Moon and Rivulet chilling and it's adorable. I wonder where Rivulet came from. It must have come from someone, since it started with a pearl

Artificer

So I found a scavenger leader, which I assume I'm meant to kill. It's under a big dome on top of the house of braids area. It's kind of hard, especially given once I aggro it the other scavs in the area come to help fight me. I died loads of times, and killed it mostly out of luck. If I had to get past the other scavs and sleep to save the death I would've been so mad, but fortunately no, it just fades like meeting an echo. The leader has 'monk' level karma from holding it.

After it faded to the karma screen, Artificer lost the higher karma levels I gained from echoes and went back to just wrath, and there was a cutscene where she fought all the watching scavs and claimed its mask and now the route is over??? I had a orange pearl I wanted to show to pebs but I guess I can't do that now

The 'game completed' screen for the route is her wearing the mask and looking v scray, rather than a ghost like the others.

I want to do this again and try actually ascending. The Echo implied that there might be a way to turn away from the path of endless rage, which I assume is by finding all the other echoes. I never even tried to get to Moon, which is probably going to be very different from normal.

Infested AU-

Sonic, under the influence of a mysterious alien brain parasite, has become unpredictable and very, very dangerous. While all his powers remain the same, he now uses his speed to maim and kill anyone who moves. Sonic’s mental state has devolved to basic instinct, and, thanks to the parasite, he is in a near-constant state of feeling like a wild animal trapped in a corner. As a result, he will call upon impossible strength, reserved only for life-or-death scenarios. Pray you don’t catch his attention. You can’t outrun the fastest thing alive.

Realizing her grandson Stu isn’t cut out for being a succesfull villain, Sue has decided to become a super hero! Don’t be fooled, she is purely doing this because, if Globby can be forgiven for his crimes, why can’t she? So in the hope it will help keep Stu out of jail, she is now patrolling the streets as Superspeedy Sue! She even let Stu help her pick a new look and a name! Isn’t that sweet?
