Here's the thing--I trust my friends.

But if this whole thing is going to blow over, then there's no point in it, right? I make a promise to Celestia, and if she's already been researching it, then I know we could figure something out! I was able to hide what happened to Cadence for this long. What's a little longer?

But it doesn't feel right.

There's gossip that Sweetie isn't feeling well. Still hasn't left her house. I'm going there today with Rarity.

Will bring something to cover our faces, too. Just in case. I’m not sure what will happen, but I need to be brave. For Bon Bon.

We found her inside a dark room.

Necrosis. Soft tissue around the mouth, gone. The light hurt her eyes.

Please believe me when I say that she had no eyelids, she no idea that they weren't even there. Her eyes just kept streaming and rolling. They looked wet when they rolled to the side so that she could look at me.

A long time ago, I once heard someone refer to the ground as going sour. Logically, I know what this means. But I didn't understand it until I saw her. Sour, sour. The flesh has gone sour.

"I don't feel well, Twilight," She said, "is it allergies? Does it look bad? The pollen is bad this year."

Her eyes were so white. I've never seen anything so white in my life. They just kept staring and she kept repeating, "does it look bad?"

Rarity handles pressure better than I do. She's so poised, more so than I. When Sweetie lunged at me, I froze. Just… seeing those eyes.
