Cuando estuvimos con Steve de Subaru en el Hipocampus y el auto color Azul Francia de Burns, nos enamoramos mirándolo 39 minutos y yo filmando con el ingeniero inglés del P2000, Christian Loriaux y Pierre Genon, al lado observando nuestra pasión indescriptible. Y el último llamado por teléfono el sábado a la noche, que yo estaba en box de #SWRT con Katie de Subaru y te contaba las más de 50.000 mil personas que había viendo a Solberg y Atkinson con David Laoworth por ese este homenaje y viaje tan profundo al #RallyRACC 🇪🇦🌍✈️, es cumplir tu deseo, tu sueño, ver mí felicidad y la tuya que tanto amamos durante 25 años. Better than straight rote

A few too many years ago, in my "Jahiliya" years, me and my friends used to go study in a cool space, and we befriended a sweet girl who would share the table with us. She was one year older than me and going to Law school at that time. I was in my first years of my bachelor degree in English language and whatever. So, this girl, who was a non-hijabi (and I was) used to listen to Qur'an when she's studying. She'd have the whole Qur'an playlist on her phone, she'd put her earphones and start studying as if she was in another dimension completely disconnected to what's going on around her. And I always found that something 'strange' but maybe I felt intrigued or I felt judgmental about myself because back then I had no relationship with the Qur'an whatsoever and I was at the other end of the spectrum from Allah's path. Yet, I never took the initiative back then to follow her steps or be 'inspired' by her. It was just "weird" for my brain and mindset for my younger self who was obsessed and brain-washed by the western Hollywoodian and pop culture. Anyways, fast forward to now, after Allah swt has chosen to bless me and guide me to his straight path, where my day doesn't feel right without my Ya Seen and my Ta Ha, every time I press play on my Qur'an playlist to study, I remember that girl and I make duāa for her. 🤍

My point is, our hearts are in the hands of Allah swrt, He changes our hearts as He pleases. No state is permanent. I am not ashamed of everything I did in my life because it has led me to exactly where I am right now. And it's also all about Allah's timing. It wasn't my time yet to be guided back then, there were still a few experiences I had to go through, a few lessons I had learn, and He knew because He swt is the All-knowing. Besides, to each their path, to each their journey and they are going to walk it on their own. Also, He swt is Al-Hadi, the one who guides, and we are guided by his mercy, his choice and his will. Moreover, it doesn't mean that I am super righteous or a pious person, AstaghfiruAllah. We are all sinners, that's the human nature, but the whole point is to always seek refuge from our nafs and from our demons in Allah swt, the guider, the forgiver, the merciful. We are all a work in process, we all stumble and fall, but as long as we get back up again and keep walking on his seerat, his path, toward Him, we are okay in shaa Allah. 🤍

May Allah swt always fix out hearts and keep us close to Him. May Allah swt guide us to the truth.
