Sylvie marches down the familiar hallway with purpose in each step and a binder full of legal documents under her arm. She's tired of this game and this is the final straw. I'm sorry, it’s come to my attention that there's a conflict of interest if I represent you, Mrs. Kelly. To which Sylvie had responded through grit teeth Ms. Sinclair. I'm trying to drop the other name. Which is, of course, why she'd hired one of the best lawyers in town. Again. Only to be dropped. Again.

She doesn't knock when she finally gets to Quinlan's office, instead striding in and marching over to his desk where he seems to ignore her very presence. "This is getting ridiculous, Quinlan," Sylvie finally says, setting the binder down with force, though not enough to be considered a slam. "Just sign the papers and we can be done with this circus." She crosses her arms, cool blue eyes giving him a stern look. "Also, very mature. Marissa DiDonato dropped me today. But you knew that didn't you? What did you bribe her with? A gold plated yacht?" @secrettyrant

“do you think that dunk tank splashed water on my hair? i did it extra fancy for this!” rosetta asked sylvie, panicking a little bit. she was basically pageant ready for an event where she probably should have worn jeans. jokes on evermore she didn’t own a pair of jeans. all she had were nice dresses and shoes to die for. “i’m actually a little surprised i don’t see you in that dunk tank. ‘cause of the water? that’s totally your thing!” it made sense to her at least that a water-talent fairy would want to get dunked in water. otherwise it didn’t actually make much sense to her at all how that was fun. “you could totally scare some of the humans here by stayin’ under water too long....which now that i say that it sounds so silly to say! but you know what i mean!”

BASICS

First born of three, Sylvie knew she wanted to be in media. She was always creating things, always trying to learn more about the process and behind-the-scenes. With her family helming Golden Entertainment, she knew there'd be a place for her but wanted to explore the world before committing to one path. So she struck out on her own when she was eighteen to travel the world for two years before returning to LA and taking her place at the family company.

Sylvie worked her way up the food chain and began to produce film and television, with numerous hits attributed to her name, even at a young age (think Shonda Rhimes, Darren Starr etc). Sylvie can be a hardass when she needs to be, and some might call her argumentative at times, but her determination to produce the best work is why she’s won several Emmys. However, she’s still a Sinclair and if anyone knows their family, they know they like to have fun.

Within the circles of LA, and the ones her family was involved in were the Kellys and the Kings. The Sinclairs had long since had a close relationship with the family and even if everything appeared above board, Sylvie caught on quite fast that it wasn't. But it didn't impact her negatively. Not for a while anyway. In fact, she and Quinlan began a relationship for 2 years before getting married in 2021.

They'd been married for 3 years before things began to break down – their focus and goals driving them apart amongst other things. Differences were evident and Sylvie requested a divorce. However, Quinlan isn't used to messing anything up or losing, and has refused to sign the papers.

In the midsts of her marital problems, Sylvie continues to focus on her career and family. She's close to her younger sisters and often uses them as sounding boards for ideas. One thing she's grateful for it's that Sinclairs are resilient and resourceful, and it's only a matter of time before they get their way.
