Hi anon! Sorry for the late reply! Here are my headcanons with a little SaneGiyuu sprinkled in of course.

The Hashiras and the Upper Moons would definitely have Whatsapp chat groups where the Master would call them for meetings, they would discuss about their missions and they would clown on Giyuu 😂

The therapy would be one of those closed room sections where they can rant about their colleagues and missions kinda like the way contestants do in Big Brother or Total Drama Island.

The Infinity Castle would be an office similar to how it is in the Gakuen. Akaza is desperate to make Rengoku a demon because he needed a (boy)friend in his toxic workplace.

Kokushibo is the bossy, know-it-all who thinks he's the second boss, he definitely has the company logo as his social media profile pic and talks about putting the company first yada yada yada

Douma is the snake that pretends to be nice to you but talks about you when you're not around, preys on the new female hires, and has a special seat reserved for him in the HR department.

Nakime is the colleague that keeps to herself, does their work, doesn't really talk to anyone and peaces out once it's 5.

Gyokko is the suck up who tries to see how far they can push their nose up the boss's ass to get a promotion or recognition.

Hantengu is the old head that pretends to be incompetent and pitiful so that you'll end up doing all their work

Gyutaro and Daki are the gen-z types that hate the job but need the money, won't stop questioning authority and who you're secretly jealous of because of their gutsy behavior.

Akaza is the only sane one who has an already drafted resignation letter saved on his computer desktop that he wants to submit every Monday or everytime Douma opens his mouth. He copes by scrolling through office/shitty colleague memes, snorting coffee and dreaming up fantasies about the office exploding.

Douma has been banned from the Upper Moon group chat for posting too many memes and Blue Spider lily troll posts.

Giyuu constantly forgets the gate code to the Master's mansion when there's a Hashira meeting and when he asks on the group chat the other Hashiras mostly ignore him.

Sanemi dms him and gives him the code after calling him a dumbass.

Gyomei is always posting cat pictures and videos on the group chats.

Tengen takes a selfie during every mission and posts ot on his status.

Giyuu's driver is always late because he is old and always forgets where Giyuu's house is but Giyuu doesn't have the heart to fire him because the driver cares for him like a grandson.

Sanemi drives himself to his missions.

Rengoku always types in capital letters and Obanai is always asking why he's shouting.

Mitsuri has an Instagram where she posts about fashion, her cats and food. Obanai likes every post, he also likes every Mitsuri group chat post no matter how silly it is.

Whenever Rengoku goes on missions, he always visits the restaurants in the area and gives ratings and reviews on Google Maps.

Muichiro, Genya, Kanao, Inosuke, Zenitsu and Tanjiro spend their free time on their shared Minecraft server making cool builds.

Zenitsu screams whenever there's a creeper around, Inosuke just runs towards it like an idiot. He has the highest respawn rate out of any of them.

Tanjiro always greets each of the villagers he encounters, he's even nice to the traveling merchant. He also has a lot of dogs and cats. His base is in the jungle because of the pandas. He likes to explore and collect lots of resources.

Muichiro, Kanao and Inosuke like to explore the caves. Inosuke likes to sneak into Zenitsu's base and steal his stuff. He also has a lot of dogs which he calls the Hoard.

Kanao makes fancy builds and has a lot of xp, food and resource farms because she values efficiency and she always shows off her builds to Shinobu and the butterfly girls. She's the first one in the group to get netherite armor and sword.

Inosuke is banned from several stores and malls especially Walmart.

Sanemi and Obanai play COD together and bully/kill teammates or other players who are misogynistic and shout slurs.

Giyuu saves the Hashira's names formally on his phone but saves Sanemi's with his first name.

Giyuu and Sanemi text each other constantly and Sanemi always asks if he's eaten and offers to cook food for Giyuu at his place.

Shinobu always trolls Giyuu on the groupchat and she's banned from several pharmacies for her questionable requests about poisons but has settled for ordering them from the dark web.

She's currently on a watchlist for her ties to several eco-terrorist groups. She had a channel where she talked about poisons and bombs but it was taken down by YouTube.

She often takes the butterfly girls for ice cream and they have movie nights. Her favorite movie is Jennifer's Body and Mean Girls, least to say Aoi and Kanao are very concerned for her.

Muichiro always has to explain gen-z slang and memes to Gyomei.

Tengen is always posting thirst traps on Instagram along with pictures of his wives.

Kokushibo always handles Muzan's Amazon orders. Muzan orders a lot of hair products, he shops at designer stores and has a Sephora membership card.

Gyutaro and Daki are always bullying kids on Roblox and griefing peoples builds on public Minecraft servers.

Gyokko's Instagram page features his pots and 'art pieces', Hantengu likes all his posts.

Akaza listens to Avril Lavigne and posts about his colleagues and how he hates his job on Reddit and Tumblr.

The Infinity Castle wifi password is Muzan4prez set by Douma of course.

Nakime's favorite channel is HGTV because she's always looking for ideas on how to redecorate the Infinity Castle.

Muzan always watches E! especially when the Awards Season comes around. He's especially fond of the Met Gala. His favorite show is Hell's Kitchen.

Kokushibo likes watching the National Geographic channel and NatGeo wild on occasion.

The Master always forces Shinobu, Sanemi, Obanai and Giyuu to have professional therapy sessions. He also checks up on them to make sure they go every week and bribes them with movie nights with him.

He hasn't told you yet where you guys were going but he told you to dress nice. Thanks Max, that sure helps. You thought to yourself. You were going through options on what to wear and you decided on a dark blue dress, with some simple sparkly short gold heels. You quickly changed into your dress and walked into your connecting bathroom. You decided that you didn't want to wear a lot of makeup so you just put on some mascara with some eyeliner and a sparkly eyeshadow. Your music was still basting so you didn't hear your dad knocking on your door.

“Y/N!!!.” He shouted.

You still didn't hear anything, you were just doing touch ups on your makeup.

“Y/N!!” he sighed in frustration. “Y/n please turn down your music.” He said while knocking at the door.

You finally heard some faint talking behind your door. So you quickly grabbed your phone and disconnected it from your speaker. Then you walked over to your door and saw your dad behind the door.

“y/n I- why are you dressed up?”

Shit you thought. You haven't told your dad about your relationship with Max yet scared of his reaction.

“You aren't mad?” you said trying not to cry, you didn't want to ruin your makeup.

You sniffed. Looking up and blinking rapidly, still trying not to cry. “Well I thought you would be mad because he works for you.” you said.

“You do?” you said.

“Yes honey, now let's get you freshened up before Max gets here.” he said while letting go of you so you could head to your bathroom.

You quickly got freshened up, you ended up redoing your makeup as you cried off most of your mascara. You then walked down the stairs to see your father and Max. You smiled at Max as you made your way down the stairs. Once you got ot the bottom of the stairs you walked over to Max. You walked over to his side and gave him a hug, he returned the hug and whispered in your ear.

“You look amazing liefde.”

You blushed at the comment. “We should start heading out, Maxie.” you told him.

He blushed slightly at the nickname. You both started to make your way to the door, before you Max could step out your dad spoke up.

“Max, can I talk to you for a second?” he asked.

“Hmm, yeah of course. I'll meet you in the car liefde.”

Once the door closed behind you, your father, Christian and Max started to talk.

“Max, do you love her?” Christian asked.

“What?” Max asked, Max was caught off guard by this question of course I love her he thought.

“My daughter, do you love y/n?” Christian asked again.

“Yes, I love her, I love her a lot.” Max started.

“Good, I trust you with Max, so please don’t break her heart.” Christian told Max.

Max smiled, “I was actually wanting to ask you a question.”

Christian didn't say anything for a few seconds, to Max it felt like an eternity before he finally said something. “If you are asking for my permission, you have the yes from me Max.” Christian said while putting his hand on Max’s shoulder.

“Thank you, that means a lot…” Max said while smiling at Christian.

Christian smiled back. “Now go, don’t make her wait any longer.” He said while laughing softly.

Max laughed along with him and quickly ran out the door and to his car. He ran around the car and opened the driver side door and slid in while closing the door behind him.

“Hey liefde, sorry for taking so long.” Max said while softly kissing the side on your head.

You smile back at him. “Don't worry honey it's fine, what were you guys talking about?” You asked while Max started the car.

Once you guys finally reached the restaurant Max quickly put the car into park and turned off the car. He then ran to your side of the car and opened the door. He stuck his hand out for you to reach. As you walked into the restaurant Max held your hand the entire time, once you guys finally reached the door he led you in with his hand on the small of your back.

“Reservation for Verstappen.” He started. “Max.” He told the front lady.

“Follow me please.” She said while grabbing out two menus.

You both followed her, she brought you both to a more secluded area of the restaurant. As you both sat down you thanked the lady and she told you that your waiter would be here shortly.

“This place is beautiful, Max.” You told him, while looking around the restaurant with the biggest smile on your face.

Max looked at you with the biggest smile in the world. Like a love-struck puppy. This is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. He thought to himself. You noticed that he wasn't saying anything, so you looked back at him with confusion.

“What?” You asked.

“Nothing, just looking at you. Am I not allowed to look at my beautiful girlfriend that I love to death?” He questioned.

You turned red, like as red as a firetruck. “Oh shut up.” you whispered at him. Before Max could say anything your waiter came over asking what drinks you would want. You both got water and Max ordered some fancy wine.

“Alright, perfect. I’ll be right back with those.” Brayden, the waiter said.

“Thank you.” You and Max said in sync.

You and Max have now left the restaurant and are walking on a walking trail near the restaurant. The trail was lit up by fairy lights, as it was mainly lit from the city that was nearby. Once you got to this one viewing point, looking over the ocean. You saw that Max has stopped and he looked rather nervous.

“You ok, Maxie?” You asked while putting your hand on his shoulder.

“Yes liefde, I'm alright." He told you with a smile. You saw that he took a deep breath, before he started to talk again. “Liefde, I think you are the one for me. That's why I want to give you this.” He said while pulling out a small box. He opened the box and you gasped slightly. In the box was a ring and a piece of paper that read.

I promise to exchange this promise ring for an engagement ring.

Tears now falling down your face, you couldn't speak. Way too shocked. So you quickly nodded while hugging him. He quickly hugged you back and wiped your tears.

Gyutaro:

He knows when someone is about to flirt, you know where he lives. He can tell when you are going to approached, so he leaves before that happens as he scratches his face. He seems downhearted when you find him after rejecting the other person, and he refuses to talk about it. The next day he bahaves as normal, but you still try to see what is wrong.

When you tried to talk to him, Gyutaro scratches himself, hard. It's enough to tear skin and make him bleed. "NeEeEe, just cut it out! Go with someone that is not as ugly and disgusting as me! Neee! You can have anyone so stop nagging me, ne..." It's inpossible to comfort him, Gyutaro is convinced that is just matter of time before someone else can take your attention from him. You try everything, but he doesn't believe that he can compete with whoever flirts with you.

Again, he easily acts as always later on when you drop the subject and he doesn't act upon it ever, but he is still jealous and bottling it up. He is resigned and doesn't see reason to do anything as long as you fon't bother him.

Gyokko:

Most of all, Gyokko is offended. How dare them to flirt with his darling in front of him? The disrespect! Second of all, he kills them. Easy as that, he doesn't ask questions or even react beyond that. Just a gasp, some few seconds to get even more offended and then he summons tentacles for them to torture that person.

After that, with the agonizing from behind as the tentacles squeeze, pull and twist limbs, breaking bones and ripping flesh, he just starts complaining to you, similar as if he had a bad experience at WalMart. "Can you believe it? They acted as if I wasn't even there! There is no respect anymore!"

Besides that, he understand that it's not your fault and doesn't take it out on you, but he is going to complain for hours straight. And heaven's forbid he remembers it later when talking with someone else, because he will spend hours complaining again. "Don't interrupt me, I'm not finished. As I was saying, it was insulting! How dare they?" And there is no way stopping it.

Sekido:

If Sekido is always angry, how could you explain how he's feeling now. Livid? Not enough. Furious? Not enough. There are no words to describe his rage, except one phrase. "You're jealous..." you say incredulous as he pants after having stabbed the person who was flirting with you with his staff.... plural. There are like 14 still electrified, five on the chest and stomach without fully going in to not pierce organs and the one he just killed him with, the head.

"Don't say that crap, they just made me angry!" He tries to explain himself, but... this is a lot for only "being angry" "Why did they have to flirt with you?" He mutters under his breath, he is still mand but doesn't want to take it out of you.... yet. He will if you become too annoying. You just let it be because after what you just saw you don't want to be beaten up by Sekido.

It passes after a while, and he even apologizes... for the wrong reasons... "Sorry for causing an scene. I was just so angry! I'll try to be more discreet next time." Still, you take it and shrug, there is nothing you can do anyway, he would not have stopped even if you asked.

Karaku:

Karaku is a chill dude, very relaxed. He can't get jealous, can he? "Oh, we are flirting with Y/N? Well, you had your turn already, my friend. Now is mine, so get lost." He is still chill as he throws himself over you, passing his arm over your shoulder and getting his face just inches from yours. He proceeds to flirt and rizz like the sex god he is, not caring if the other party is still there or not. "Babe, do ya like it when strangers flirt with ya~? Totally deserve it, ya know? Cuz you're so hot and cute one just wants ya~."

He really is chill about it, it's not fake or repressed. He is ok with others flirting with you, what he is not ok is others going around thinking they have a chance. "But they must know you are mine, ya know? Should we give them a show for them to realize it?" He kisses and licks your face.

"KARAKU!" You scream, face red because of how shameless he is as he grabs his own pants. Once he heard you Karaku starts laughing, only to start teasing you. "Sorry love, you're right. I'll leave some for the bedroom.~!"

Urogi:

"GET OFF MY Y/N!" Urogi attacks that person the second you make eye contact with him, taking it as a permission and an ask for help from your part. He is ok with people talking to you, but flirting? "Y/N IS MINE!" He takes them to the sky, grabbing them by his feet to them give a sonic scream once they are 200 feet high and drop them.

Then back down he stabs them with his claws. Once they are finally dead he brings the corpse to you (the eyes are missing, and you know he ate them. But he gor hungry, ok?) "Did I do good? Y/N, did I do good? I protected you, so I deserve a reward, right?" If he was a dog instead of a bird he would be wiggling his tail happy and proud, you can basically feel him shining. C'mon, how are you supposed to scold that?

"Yes, you did good. But don't do it again, ok?" He lunges over you to hug you joyfully. "Yay! Does this mean I can eat them? You don't mind?" Like a dog, he asks permission. And they are dead anyway, so there is nothing that should stop it. So you neither don't look at Urogi while being flirted or put a good poker face."Yummy!"

Aizetsu:

"I'm feeling sad." He tells you, tugging weakly your arm, pouting. "Y/N, I'm sad. Can I please have a hug? Please?" The person who was talking to you looks slight offended, not only for being interrupted, but the fact you switched all your attention to those sad eyes beghing for your attention. How were you supposed to not cuddle him?

Aizetsu smiles a little at them, who were flirting with you, just before burrying his face into you, arms wraped in a hug. He knows what he is doing. He gets needy whenever he gets jealous, but instead of having an outburst Aizetsu used his sad puppy eyes on you and makes sure that you only look at him besides showing the other party who is the one you answer to.

There are times he makes himself look so pitiful that you don't even notice that he isn't sadder than usual, he just wants you to stop talking with other people. "Thank you, I really needed. Sorry for being a bother." What a baby.

Nakime:

You didn't even know Nakime could get jealous. But now you just saw her opening a door in the floor to drop someone into her castle only because they told you some pick-up lines. You know you are not going to be seeing them again... ever. If she just send them away, killed them or just trapped them in her fortress, you have no idea.

If you bring it up with her, she plays dumb, even if there is no denying that it was her biwa, her castle, her demon blood art, her. "I don't recall doing so. Are you ok, though? They seemed like a bother." She will speak soflty and gently, smiling a bit to you. That is so scaru you don't push the issue.

At the end you both act as if nothing happened, but she will be doing it again without shame or guilt. She always knows, so forget having flirty people in your life.

Akaza:

Akaza has always been protective, not liking when others get near since he is forever paranoid something bad will happen if he isn't there. In other words, he is easy to make jealous. "Y/N IS NOT INTERESTED YOU PIECE OF-" he goes off to attack inmediately, and it just takes one uncomfortable look in your face for Akaza to kill them. But at least he kills them rather fast instead of torturing them.

"You didn't need to go that far." You try and get him to apologize easily. He was too fast for you to be able to do anything about it, but he would have stopped if you told him. "It's just that we are together. We are together and it makes me mad when others don't understand it ot let us be." He answers honestly. Akaza still understands that you can't control other people's actions so he would never take it out on you.

On contrary, he is the one to comfort and spoil you after it to apologize his outburst. He is usually very relaxed with you, so it was a bit scary, still he won't be doing it again unless (he will only attack if you are being hurted).

Douma:

Douma is bad at feelings, bad with his own feelings, that you already knew. But he does understand the desire of others respecting distance or possesions (not that he ever cared), he would not like others taking his fans or his food away, for example. It's a similar sensation when they try to convince you to go un a date, even after you already said no several times. "Understand already that I don't want anything with you!"

Douma doesn't act, at all. He doesn't even know what of all of the situation he is against. If he dislikes anything that person, if he dislikes your actions or their actions, if he dislikes how tired you look, or if he dislikes how repetitive it is the scene, he doesn't know, so he can't act upon it right away. He just knows he doesn't like it.

That doesn't stop him from killing that person, who was still part of his cult, and eating him greedily. He still doesn't understand it, but it's definetely better. It could be that his stomach is full, it could be that they are gone, it could be that he just did something good and let them have an eternal life inside him. "Y/N, if something like this happens ever again, please tell me. I will deal with it."

Kokushibou:

Kokushibou is petty, but really petty about it. When he sees you being flirted by someone else he just... stares. And stares from afar, blank face yet you can see in his eyes both the yearning and resentment... x3. Then the second you look at him he looks any other way, and if you try to make a step towards him Kokushibou will basically run away. And then starts to avoid you. CAN HE GET ANY MORE PETTY?! He can, actually. He is yet to start making poetry about heartbreak, the one you catched him doing when you were fibally able to get close and talk to him after two weeks.

"Why do you let them speak to you like that? It's inappropriate." Well, it's not like you can do anything but reject their advances, like you did. But number one here is very insecure, so the fact that others flirt with you scare him and he dislikes that. "Kokushibou, please. You know I love you, and only you." But as a good lover you start to list why you like him and think he is better than everyone else. He becomes shy and runs away again.

But at least, once he gets over the outburst of his insecurity, is over is easy to reasure. Besides, apart from being a bit rude and shy, he doesn't hurt anyone.

I do think we need to start seriously looking at and addressing the social consequences of women having children, not just the economic ones. Anecdotally, it's not uncommon for me to know or hear about college educated middle class or above women who decide to have kids and then just. Cease to exist as anything but childcare workers for at least 6 years. Maybe they get a "break" by going to work. But their lives as individual adults get totally annihilated by the demands of childcare. I also feel like that is a not uncommon reason for choosing not to have, or delaying, or not having more, kids. Women want to have time and space to see friends and go to concerts and bars and movies and read books and watch movies for grown ups, and have grown up conversations. And this isn't a new thing. Adrienne Rich talks about ot in her writings on motherhood. But it's not taken seriously because I think it's seen as selfish and petty to want a break from good night moon so you can drink g and ts with your friends and discuss the craziest podcast drama of the week. But like. It is serious and it needs to be taken seriously because women with children are still adults with adult social needs.

Ramona is still skating around Scott's head space but she is the one who gets obsessed instead of Scott, Scott works as a pizza delivery man

Scott in this AU is still an autistic nerd but is clueless about everything around him, he's just keeping a cool head in comparison to the source materials, he's still the bassist of Sex Bob-Omb but doesn't reveal that to Ramona yet cause he temporarily quit after Gideon became their producer

the seven evil exes are not Ramona's version of Scott's friends cause fuck that, instead the 'seven evil exes' are more just exes that are not evil and overly obsessed with Ramona cause Gideon ain't there to join forces with them

(In my head, Gideon is the reason why most of the league even took revenge on Ramona, since he was the one that said it, katayanagi twins just followed with it cause damn do they have it rough, despite not being evil, Lucas also went with it, todd is just angry that ramona has the audacity to leave after he punched the moon for her, Matthew and Roxy are the only ones that genuinely are sad and angry)

The League of Evil Exes are just the same 5 with Lynette for support, they are not in any of the OG league's roles, they're on their own

their name will be, Vv cause V is the Roman number 5, and v as in victims

knives are the first V but she's still 17, she keeps coming back to fight Ramona until finally realising it isn't worth it

Kim is the second, they met after a Sex Bob-Omb concert, they're not Clash of the Demon Heads in a sense by the way, they're much more different, Kim explains the whole thing to Ramona, and they fight for a bit while also talking as they fight, then they stop and just decided to go out for a drink

wallace is the third and doesn't actually fight with Ramona physically, rather using psychic powers thanks to his current boyfriend, but after the fight, they're still hesitant cause it turns out that Wallace was the one that made the Vv and Ramona is genuinely jealous of Wallace but they later just become buddies

next is Lisa, at first Ramona doesn't even know what to do with Lisa, originally Ramona thinks Lisa is just a friend who is getting too close for comfort with Scott, then boom, big reveal that Lisa is actually one of the exes, they start to fight, but it ended up alright

last is envy and Lynette, the reason for this is that I like to believe that Envy was the one that wanted to take revenge on Scott, but nobody truly wanted to fight other than knives, Lynette is there to help cause they have a much healthier relationship compared to the comics, also envy's reason is cause she's jealous over Scott and ramona after hearing the fact that todd is now living with ramona and Scott is dating her

but what happened to the seven evil exes you may ask

well

Matthew and the twins would probably be the only people that Ramona talks to daily, i like to think Matthew lives nearby and that the twins are not as rich as Gideon but still have enough to have a house up in Toronto

Lucas after another flop movie (blame it on the writers, Lucas did nothing wrong) gets broke and starts to live with Ramona at first, Lucas is kinda like Kim in terms of his relationship with Scott, hot take that maybe Scott and Lucas have a better bromance than Gideon and Lucas

todd would be Ramona's roommate, but unlike Wallace, he's this self-destructive asshole that made himself sympathetic after Envy dumped him and he had nowhere else to go other than to Ramona, which just causes Ramona to feel like she's once again with a prick like Gideon

Roxy comes by every week or so to talk with Ramona and clearly is still hang-up over ramona. also has the best wlw/mlm solidarity friendship with wallace

Gideon would still be a billionaire and he's Sex Bob-Omb producer, and at one point forces them to fight against Ramona by using the glow but they manage to break free and turn against Gideon

basically yes the same thing with the comics and the anime, but Ramona is the one being paranoid and self-conscious about things but trying to act like she's not affected by this, and Ramona is the one who has to fight with Scott exes plus confront herself

and everything is not in the same chronological order as the comics

this swap au focuses on ramona and her ex, while Ramona and Scott realise why Vv was even made in the first place

Is it wrong to date a guy from an enemy faction when your country doesn’t exist anymore? Asking for a friend

A kaebedo au in which kaeya lives in a spy drama and albedo in a sitcom

Note: Minor spoilers for some lore from Pernhari lore books

Given what we now know about how the crimson moon dynasty came before the eclipse dynasty and was more focused on alchemy, i would like to submit a theory that albedo is from the crimson moon faction

His master rhinedottr is famous for her alchemy after all, and he followed in her footsteps.

Not that these factions mean much to albedo, k’hanriah is long gone, and there is so much more in the world to discover

But Kaeya! Kaeya was sent as a spy by the k’hanrians who haven’t given up yet, they still have hope and cling to old traditions.

They served the dynasty of eclipse, of course the differences between crimson moon and exclipse matter to them

Especially if i go out on a limb and theorize the crimson moon had something to do with the fall of k’hanriah. Like a revolt or political infighting. Side eyes “the exclipse was swallowed by the crimson moon”

So it makes sense why neither kaeya nor albedo were aware that they’d meet another k’hanrian in mondstat, much less another captain in the knights

Kaeya spends a day in agony, fully expecting albedo to jump him and make kaeya follow some new “mission” or something

That is until albedo mentions alchemy, specifically kemia. The pride of the crimson moon’s alchemists.

Combined with albedo’s seeming lack of knowledge as to who kaeya is, this can only mean one thing.

Albedo isn’t a spy from eclipse here to get Kaeya back on track. He’s a spy from crimson moon here to do the same thing as kaeya!

Naturally kaeya can’t let an enemy spy get to close to mondstat! Especially since they might not be friendly like him!

Plus he’s grown up on stories that blame the crimson moon for k’hanriah’s fall. (Also the gods and abyss, but come on, we all know the rival political faction was the real enemy here) he does not want that to happen to mondstat

So kaeya decides to get close to albedo, feel him out and see what his intentions are, and dispose of him if he needs to.

Unfortunately for him, a wrench is thrown in his plans in the form of Klee. Sweet, loveable klee who adores her big brother albedo so much, and would definitely cry if he were to suddenly vanish, and he just couldn’t do that ot her (also there is an all powerful witch who will definitely destroy mondstat if they make her precious daughter cry)

Now kaeya must find other ways to handle mond’s latest ticking time bomb and figure out his secrets, all while trying to ignore how those eyes make his heart skip a beat (from fear, he lies to himself)

Meanwhile, albedo clocks kaeya as a k’hanrian from the eclipse faction the moment he saw him. Given how it was all over kaeya’s clothes, he thought this was intentional.

And sure, kaeya never talks about his homeland, or his people before mondstat, but given everything that went down its probably a sore spot. No one else brings it up ir comments on his heritage so albedo just assumes everyone knows and no one talks about it out of respect for kaeya, and some other illusive social cue.

So when kaeya starts getting close to albedo, with his signature flirty moves, albedo does not think this has anything to do with crimson moon vs eclipse. He thinks this is just kaeya trying to get to know the new captain

Maybe he’s curious about alchemy?

So he shows off a few cool potions to a wide eyes kaeya

Kaeya internally: is this a threat?

Albedo internally: i am winning at social interaction 😁

Albedo figured kaeya would get bored of him soon enough, when he realized that albedo’s job of alchemy is a lot more math and a lot less cool explosions.

But when kaeya sticks around, asking questions about albedo’s past, befriending klee, expressing curiousity in what exactly his potions can be used for, albedo starts to get suspicious

It’s not the alchemy itself. Albedo offered to teach kaeya some small potions and kaeya all but leapt away in his haste to refuse (those childhood stories of “touch alchemy and u die” realy stuck with him)

So he goes to sucrose and timeaus and asks them.

Sucrose is equally baffled, wonders if maybe kaeya just really likes chopping up ingredients

Albedo: hmm. He does do it everytime i ask…

Timeus: oh my archons, kaeya has a crush on you.

Albedo decides to test both theories. He stops letting kaeya cut his ingredients, but that doesn’t deter him. So he checks to see if Kaeya is attracted to him

By silently crowding close to kaeya to hear if his heart speeds up

Kaeya meanwhile, has a stone faced alchemist pushing him into a wall, is absolutely thinking he’s about to be murdered (and that it’s hot)

Albedo notices the speed up. Ahh so he does like me.

Kaeya: i have to go now! Proceeds to rush out the door.

Albedo is confused. If kaeya likes him, why is he running?

He asks timeus and sucrose. Sucrose offers to stalk him for a while to find out why. Timeus replies that albedo was “too forward” and that people like “to be chased”

Albedo, chasing kaeya: is this what u want?

Kaeya: oh god he’s gonna kill me!

The method that albedo picks to woo Kaeya is to offer him a fancy lunch he cooked, complete with a traditional khanrian delicacy: the spider sandwich.

Kaeya does not enjoy this, his mind running wild trying to figure out what albedo is trying to say to him by feeding him spiders.

Albedo decides he can’t trust Rhinedottr’s ideas of “traditional delicacies” (who knew her spider sandwich wasn’t normal?)

So he turns to sucrose, who has been stalking kaeya. She proposes a date that she has gathered from her research: take him drinking.

Now if albedo had started with this, it probably would have gonne much easier for him. But after a week of being stalked, chased, and fed spiders, kaeya’s guard is way up.

He’s convinced this is an attempt to get him drunk to get information out of him. Well good luck with that, kaeya’s no light weight, he’s certain he can drink albedo under the table, and get him talking instead

Albedo is a but hesitant when kaeya suggests a drinking competition, but goes along with it.

The result is a very drunk albedo cuddling up to kaeya and whispering the periodic table seductively in his ear.

Kaeya was not prepared for that. Not at all. He comes back home thinking that the crimson moon really trains their spies to be good at keeping secrets

Albedo comes back to his home confident at a successful first date

Things continue onward in their will they won’t they, until one day kaeya wakes up in bed with albedo, in matching pjs, klee sleeping between them, and realizes that seduction was the crimson moons game all along, and he lost.

But oh well, its not like he’s really following eclipse’s orders anyways. He thinks as he goes back to sleep

HERE’S WHY I LOVE DARTH VADER THE WAY I DO. These two scenes are the last times we see Vader in the show, that we leave him on the barren moon where he’s screaming Obi-Wan’s name, cut open and exposed, wheezing and desperate for Obi-Wan to come back, all the vulnerable parts of him have been flayed open by Obi-Wan’s confrontation and Anakin’s feelings for Obi-Wan. Then we see him put back together, his armored shell around him intact once more, talking to Sidious, and this is why names are so important and why I talk so much about how Vader never uses anything but “Obi-Wan” unless he’s deliberately trying to hide the feelings that make him vulnerable.  Sidious sees right through him, of course, that’s the whole point of yanking Vader’s leash, and that we’re seeing what an absolute projection that last scene is. The juxtaposition of those two things is what Darth Vader is to me.  It’s also illustrated through the juxtaposition of the prequels and the originals, that the Vader of the OT is only ever once seen without his mask, but in the prequels we get to know Anakin Skywalker as a desperately feelings-laden, clingy, needy, hot mess who cries and screams and rages and loves and smiles and laughs all the time. But Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader. That’s a huge point of the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, that he is still that needy, clingy, angry hot mess of a character.  That when you see him sitting on his throne, looking like the top dog of the GFFA, it’s a lie.  It’s a projection.  It’s the same as the armored shell of the suit around him, it’s there to protect the soft belly of Anakin Skywalker that can be cut open with the right dagger. To many in the galaxy, they’ll never see beyond that lie of a projection, they never knew the man under that mask, the fearful person who drives everything Darth Vader does, they don’t mean anything to him, so he is that powerful walking nightmare. But to those that know him, those that remember the beautiful young man he once was, the way he was so sensitive to everything around him, that he was a giant ball of feelings, the way he was so afraid of losing those he loved, they know that that mask and that pose are nothing but an attempt to convince others of something that Anakin Skywalker never really is. That’s what I love about Darth Vader.  One of the scariest villains in film history, one of the most nightmare-inducting monsters, is a lie.  Darth Vader is a defensive armor because the core of who he really is is the soft, vulnerable person who desperately wants someone to tell him he’s doing good, tell him that they love him, tell him that he’s perfect, tell him what to do, and he wants to follow them to the ends of the galaxy.  He’ll do monstrous things to get even a sliver of all of that, he’ll make terrible choices and get on his knees for anyone he thinks can deliver what he’s so desperate for, because he so desperately yearns for someone to lead him, to love him, to praise him. Because Darth Vader is just a projection to protect the open book that is Anakin Skywalker.  Darth Vader is a fixed mask to hide the way Anakin Skywalker rolls his eyes or tears well up in him or he scrunches up his face in distaste.

Jun - Childhood friends to lover I MEAN MOON JUNHUI THE ACTOR. EVERYONE WATCH EXCLUSIVE FAIRYTALE OR I AIN’T TALKING WITH YOU!!! Anyways Jun has stated he liked to stay home a lot so I didn’t think the strangers to lovers would be a thing and the only time period where you were forced out to play was when you were a child so I feel that this trope would be fitting.

“Should we buy a house in the place we used to play as kids, I think it would be fun to play again there.”

Hoshi - Soulmates Inspo credit from Hoshi in debate night (iykyk). I think Hoshi would believe in soulmates and chase you to convince you that there is a red thread holding both of you together. He would be clingy until you accept him.

“You can’t run from me, I’M YOUR SOULMATE!”

Wonwoo - Second life Wonwoo would love you in the past life but it doesn’t work, so he would remember the past and search for you. I think he’s very loyal and would find you if you were in his memories. He would chase after you and you would think he’s crazy.

“Look, I know it sounds crazy but we loved each other in our past lives.”

Woozi - She fell first but he fell harder I think you would chase Woozi cause he is such a talent! Yet along the road, there would be Angst and Woozi would deny his love for you and you give up. He would try to win you back after accepting his feelings.

“I’m sorry, I was a coward. I’ll try and win you back, so give me a chance.”

The8 - Summer love Minghao loves nature and going out, I think you could meet in the summer maybe at a campsite or a beach. You would enjoy your time together but it won’t last with his busy schedule and his desire to create.

“I don’t want summer to end, cause I feel like I won’t see you again”

Mingyu - Strangers to lovers Mingyu is I would say a social butterfly, he would have no problem with approaching you. Maybe you guys have mutual friends and got to know each other, but you guys would vibe and go on a few dates.

DK - First love DK would be so loyal to his love for you, he would stick by you making sure you are ok. He would ignore everyone to be with you. He fell first, facts. Act of service king and if one day you fall for him, destiny would grant his wish.

Seungkwan - Enemies to lover Oh, you guys have beef, arguing with each other daily. Trying to win petty fights. I think over time you would get tired of the fighting and distance yourself. With this, both of you felt so empty without each other. Kinda like our summer tbh hahah.

“Are you scared, is that why you're ignoring me? Cause it felt like just yesterday we were fighting and now I can’t live without you. ”

Vernon - deskmates I was about to put brother's best friend, but I think Vernon would just say hi to you and that’s it. I think for Vernon it requires forced proximity like being deskmates. If you spend a lot of time together you will get closer and fall in love (AWWW)

Dino - Brother’s Bestfriend Ohhhh Chan would try to make it look smooth, he would hang out with your brother more just to see you. You? Well, you would suddenly want to hang out with your brother more to see Chan. Fr fr giving hidden love vibes, if yk yk.

Y'know what? Those 'human S/O wanna find out how human flesh tastes like' are quite interesting. Can I request same for Muzan, Susamaru and (if you write about her) Spider Sister?

Muzan

Honestly as strong as he is, no one rivals him, so he rarely has to eat anyone and often keeps to himself

Around you, it's even rare to see him kill or harm another person unless it came down to your safety, which for someone who is more than happy to remove another annoying passerby on any given day, its extremely rare

But of course his own choices don't reflect the other demons he might have around you, especially the upper or lower ranks that had enough control to keep from attacking his s/o

Douma was the worst for it, he always carried a snack to nibble on, and he frequented Muzan more than most

He had offered you some numerous times, but would be quickly scolded and often harmed by Muzan

But part of you wondered what it would be like ot be a demon, to be biting into the flesh of a human, what it tasted like

So during one meeting with several higher ranks, when he offered it and Muzan had yet to step in, you reached out to take the offer

Talk about all eyes on you

It was slightly warm, blood was soaking your hand until it was dripping to the floor and nothing was more horrifying than the three highest upper moons staring at you, hell, even Kokushibo

You ate the whole piece, which was reminiscent of a chewy gusher, and swallowed

Yeah, no, it was disgusting and you were tearing up, but you gave a thumbs up to get everyone from staring at you

Muzan comes up with an excuse for Douma to keep it from you now, but he is still curious why you'd lie about liking it to a bunch of people who likely wouldn't have cared

Susamaru

It's not that she doesn't have manners, but if you are going to be her s/o you need to be able to handle her food at the table, too

Eats with you all the time, and you've gotten some splashes of blood in whatever it is you are eating before

First you'd lose your appetite, then you'd make yourself something new, eventually you'd just separate that piece of food or toss it

But with enough time you'd just keep chewing, because really, it's annoying to lose your favourites over something so simple

That wasn't where it ended, however, because after enough of a taste of blood, you found yourself craving it from time to time, almost as if it were an unspoken seasoning that added just the right amount of iron

Susamaru was more than happy to let you bottle some up and add it to your next dish, a blood broth stew, mixed with wine so the colour wouldn't make you too nauseous

Finds her s/o so cool compared to others, but she was almost worried you would like it

Of course, being a demon was everything to her, but she doesn't want you to get that close to being one if she can help it, because you'd likely never meet in missions, or get in trouble for talking too much

Very thankful if you don't enjoy it much, because it means it can stop then and there

She made an extra meal just in case, so you won't go hungry

-> self-evident truths by thatsparrow is a really fun national treasure fic which i oh so rarely find. i felt like i won the lottery when i clicked on it.

-> The Glass Jar by mediumorange is a fantastic post-canon fic for brokeback mountain. there are some lines in here that changed me fundamentally.

-> the year of the goat and your kid back by derryfacts2 is in fact THE greatest it fic ever. imo. it's not at all what you expect but i cannot recommend it any higher. trust me on this one.

-> there's daggers in men's smiles by @pinkgrapefloyd will always be a rec. my favorite cobra kai fic ever.

-> chamb3rs and bloodofgods on ao3 have written some of my favorite stranger things genfic (especially platonic madwheeler <3) of ALL time and honestly just my favorite stranger things fic of all time ngl.

-> Flower of Lemon and Feather of Shrike by SummerPhlox is another fav cobra kai fic. it's about yasmine and moon and why the hell yasmine's character is Like That in later seasons of cobra kai. do yourself a favor and read this and become certifiable over background female characters, it's good for the soul.

-> every day i take ten minutes to sit and stare into the middle distance thinking about the way you love me by @strangeswift. you think i'm exaggerating about this but i'm not. i'm really not. THE byler exes fic of all time perhaps.

-> a cruel summer with you by astrobi/wiseatom/andiwriteordie is i imagine a fic many people are familiar with but i cannot stress how obsessed i am and i have only read the first chapter. btw. (i'm self-banned from reading more until i finish mutual distrust but i think about it on a weekly basis.) byler summer camp au....save me byler summer camp au.

-> i have already sung the praises of love me on purpose many, many a time. but i reiterate: this fic haunts me. this fic has made me cry on more than one occasion. this fic gutted me like a fish and put all my internal organs back one millimeter to the left. what the fuck honestly. can anyone hear me???

-> it's brutal out here by @stillokaynextcrisis is a music/rockstar/band au for the star wars OT that i am currently obsessed with.
