baddddddd. he's giving pomme first pick of their dungeon loot rn. he's so NICE. not just to the eggs but in general (i am always thinking of those elegant letters). but the eggs are the only ones who he will quickly and easily show vulnerability to. with everyone else it's like there's a layer there, a wall of silliness he keeps up on purpose, but it just. isn't there with the eggs.
there's something about the way that he cares that I can't put into words. like he cares so much. so fucking intensely. look at dapper. look how kitted out that egg is. look at how much time bbh has spent with the eggs, and look at how much time and effort he puts into figuring out how to keep them safe. he goes HAM when it comes to caring for the eggs, but it comes so naturally to him. it feels like caring for people with his whole entire soul is his default, but he doesn't want it to be. or, maybe want play a part in it- maybe it's too dangerous to care so much so quickly. maybe that puts other people he loves at risk. maybe it scares people. but that wall between him and other people is one that he built, and it's bbh, so he built it strong, so even when he's surrounded by people who have proven over and over that they care for him (that they care for the eggs, that they will not hurt them), he can't fully believe it.
im just. bad knows foolish so well. he knows that man wouldnt on purpose kill any eggs. but pomme killed foolish and bbh, dying of laughter, having the time of his life, told her to "put your armour on. just in case."

in my last year of uni, i had a math modeling class where one of the tasks my group was assigned was modeling compost decomposition (temperature, size of heap, etc) and since then ive been subtly obsessed with compost to the point where if i think about farming games, one of my main desires is having a ridiculously elaborate composting system. its like yeah sure the player can grow plants idc but those plants are gonna become compost at some point lol

Like I get tarping a bed (bed is square, tarp is square) if there’s gonna be watersports type activities but if you care about the couch then don’t fuck wet on it! WHAT is this in-between putting a small tarp down for the hoes situation. They weren’t even that oily.

Introducing Herman the DKA D52! He's very precious to me :')
Tumblr media
D52, or PNKA D52 Class is a tender engine 2-8-2 built by KRUPP in 1951. D52 is officially the first locomotives Indonesia brought after indenpendence.
After arrived, D52 are immediately sent to any depot that needs new engine. Herman sent to Banjar, West Java.
Herman was a prideful engine. He's always relaxed, but surprisingly still get their work done.???? He can speaks Sundanese and Indonesian. I think he knows some Javanese words?
In 1953, He gets into an accident by DI/TII, a rebel party. The rails that Herman will go through got sabotaged, making him and a coach behind him derailed to the right side. Drawing him a scar.
His scar gets bigger in 1955. He fell really hard from Cirahong bridge.
In 1987, he was put in Banjar shed, waiting for the museum to take him and a C11. Sadly C1149 doesnt make it.
In 2016, Herman and D1410 are taken from museum. They went to PWS for restoration. D1410 gets it first and now pulling Jaladara train, leaving D52099.
Some funfacts idk:
• D52 has the hottest steam pressure, even hotter than the biggest mallet here, DD52. Because of that, D52 are vulnerable to explode. There is a case of D52084's boiler explodes.
• Instead of having typical German hooters, D52 use 5 chime whistle, its like American's or Japan's..??
• Herman's actual number is D52080. There was no reason yet why they changed it ??
• Despite 100 built, only 1 preserved (Im also mad. How the fuck.)
• The last position he had at TMII is very uncomfortable. Some of his wheels were almost broke.

Fiberglass nightmare update: So the construction cleanup guy came and he was horrified over what the contractors had done with the fiberglass in my room.
"And they left your fan on, which just blows the dust around???"
"Yeah."
"And they didn't cover any of your stuff???? The bedding, the furniture????"
"Nope."
"And they told you to sweep and dust, which just pushes the fiberglass dust into the air??????"
"Mhm."
"And then they told you that you could sleep up here??!?!?!? When I can literally see fiberglass on your floor?!??!?!??!?!"
"Yup."
Cleanup guy:
Tumblr media
So basically, he confirmed it's bad, and not safe to be up there, so I've also had to cancel the drywall guys tomorrow (cleanup guy said they'd just stir up the dust). The cleanup crew is going to have to come in with a massive, industrial strength HEPA vac and clean floor to ceiling (since the fan + ac blew it onto everything, including the walls and ceiling). They're going to give all the furniture a full wipedown from top to bottom, and then they're going to bring in a massive air filter, hook it to the window, and essentially pump the fiberglass dust in the air out the window. That'll take at least eight hours after they clean up, so I'll be on my air mattress for a while longer. The good news is - THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO COME IN TOMORROW.
He also confirmed my clothes are saveable, as is my mattress (though not the bedding). I told him to let me know if there's anything up there tomorrow that can't be saved, since a few of my desk drawers were slightly open, and at this point I'll just add it to the list of thing to replace.

Aaaaahhh!!! Merci beaucoup ça me fait trop plaisir!!

…the Marauder II was a near-exclusive Wolf’s Dragoons ‘Mech until quite a bit later than Bobbie would’ve acquired hers
means I'm quite glad I already decided she acquired it via cool heist that involved the whole crew, which is probably motivated by my desire to see the Roci crew do some Leverage shit, but has become very narratively convenient

Hmmm.... One of the things I was most nervous about with this move was having to prepare for the landlord to inspect the house. Now he's told me that I can just leave the key in the mailbox when I move. This is what I've done with other places before (probably more often than not). He knows that I have hoarderish issues and more of a financial cushion than most. Is it worth getting back $0 of $250ish for the peace of mind of just being able to sweep everything that's left into boxes and bags and split? I have like two days left and I'm almost in tears because of paralyzing executive dysfunction over what should take like three hours. -_-
