Would we maybe get a character portrait of our twin

Well since MC and Arlan are identical in looks, I had avoided making a defined portrait so you could imagine them however your devious little heart desired.

Buuuut... I do have a rough sketch I made ages ago of my version of my MC—using an AI art app, actually, when I was just playing around and trying to pin down a vibe. It’s not hand-drawn or anything fancy, just something I messed with back then to help me visualize.

I’ll be turning it into a black-and-white version, so you can project your own vibes onto it. Imagine them softer, sharper, haunted, smug—go wild.

Of course here is both, female and male versions

FYI, ADN actually got the word tulpa from the Tibetan book of the dead, punished two years earlier than her book by some old friends of hers, including Dawa Samdup. The TBotD called it tulpai, but ADN wrote it the way she pronounced it, losing the final i. It was published in 1927 and can be found online, and you can read about Samdup and ADN's relationship just by googling them together.

You're missing a big step in your argument on whether it's appropriation and how closely connected it is.

We scanned the Tibetan book of the dead 1927 edition and found no such word inside it. We already know of her connections with Samdup though as it is referenced in Tracking The Tulpa.

If you could provide more evidence for this claim we would appreciate it, but for now we shall stick with what we have currently verified in it's transliteration.

I know I promised to show some of the art books I own. Don't worry, I'm getting to it, I just wanted to show off some different books first. Like this one here to show you another way to see dragons. Honestly, when I first picked this book up back when I was in high school, I did it because dragons. Who knew that the art within was just so amazing and so inspiring that I wanted to draw dragons like this ... Haven't been able to yet, but I'm working on it lol. I only took some of the pictures from within, but trust me when I say that if you're a fan of dragons, I highly recommend picking this book up. It shows you a take on european dragons, magic, and tales that I found interesting at the time. I don't know now because I haven't read it in so long lol. Oh! Fun fact, this book definitely helped shape how to create dragons after reading Eragon. This book was just so fun to read and look at. Just get this when you can, you won't be disappointed. The person, the actor and the art. Seems like some people can’t see the difference here. Even if he used his sm to call out politicians now and then, he isn’t obligated to do that further as the person that he is. I see the person behind those tweets, not the actor and definitely not his art./

He’s not obligated to tweet about anything, for sure. But he has publicly gone out of his way to display actions that are in conflict with his former brand (yeah I said it 😂). We’re not only talking about him going inactive on SM. We’re talking about his active choices that he decided to share and how it doesn’t match up with the way he was being super passionate in his political and social commentary. I know he already had problematic friends but now he’s even gone and added to it. 😂 This is similar to what’s happening with Taylor/Matty but also way different because Chris was faaar more vocal than TS and gained a whole lot of glowing publicity as his result.

To give him TBOTD, in regards to his current inactivity, the level and frequency of conversation surrounding social justice was very intense between 2016-2020 and frankly not sustainable imo. But that doesn’t mean he couldn’t have settled into a more measured pace or hey, maybe even picked up an acting gig (the “art”) that explored those kinds of topics. A tweet here or there, a link to something interesting he read is not a huge ask, but he would rather post about dogs looking at sunsets and tattoos. Is that an unfair characterization?

For eg, Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar are not constantly tweeting but they address progressive ideas in their art.

it's official, tbotd is in indefinite hiatus

so hi, how long it's been, it's sad that we got reunited this way

one persistent question while running tbotd was if I was contributing to the fetishization and sexualization of the asian ppl, mainly japanese, and while I can talk about my intentions, that does little to the change the actual content or how ppl interacted with it. Bc as small as I am in the grand scheme, I have to still consider my actions.

If I can't find an answer if I'm contributing to the spread of dehumanization of asians through "look at how pretty he is" I just can't continue, and that is an answer I haven't found yet.

Why is there a poly relationship with Damon and Odette, they're siblings 💀

💀 Oh babes, absobloodylutely not—this isn’t an incest circus, I swear on my last working brain cell. The poly route with Damon and Odette does not mean the siblings are romantically involved with each other. It’s a V poly, not a triangle of chaos. MC is the single connection point—think of it like a very royal, very dramatic game of "two's company, three’s your political marriage arrangement."

Now, depending on MC’s orientation, things shift:

that’s a piece of the masterlist, my spreadsheet that contains tbotd past and future, the first column is the number, when the first event started (shirtless tb month), it switches to ex to indicate that doesn’t count for the no repetition rule, and goes back when the event ends.

belial was posted during the villains month, that doesn’t count, then again normally. But keep in mind that sometimes I refuse normal requests for those posted in events bc I didn’t watched the show yet, and plan to do so in the near future. And in some special occasions I accept repetitions.

You just threw glitter directly at my tired soul. 💛 I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through awful life experiences, but the fact that you choose to lead with kindness? That’s something many could learn from.

Now, onto the juicy bits. 👀

Bisexual MC harem route—I love the way your brain works, and honestly, I hadn’t thought that far yet. The harem content is still pretty far in the future (first we survive childhood, then we thrive in chaos), so it’s something I’ll definitely be looking into as the romance dynamics start to solidify more.

That said—if I can pull it off without sacrificing emotional depth or narrative cohesion, then yes, I’d love to make a beautifully chaotic harem that includes both male and female ROs. 💋💀 But we’ll have to see how the beast evolves. It’s ambitious, like the story. And ambition always comes with a price, usually in the form of me sobbing over my own code.
