Bright Start to Everything

Started my week off by creating an account at the local cyber cafe. It's nice. This will have to do for now. My nomad lifestyle makes it difficult to keep a solid entertainment system. On the other hand it' s good because I can shop around for the rig of all rigs. It has the potential to be a very interesting story: lots of men of all ages gathering in a cafe at all hours to game and chat. But costly, $4 for 2 hours to play on a powerful PC (WZ is my game, but going to dive into some Assassins Creed too). I'm transitioning from controller and underestimating the learning curve.

History course on gaming - the idea for playing cards started from domino cards in China around 3000 years ago. Also Multiplayer existed, so we can only imagine there was trash talking in those times too.

Movies: French film that I watched recently called Tchao Pantin in French, So long, Stooge in English. I give it 4 stars out of 5. It's a book that made it's way to film, according to wiki, written by Alain Page who also wrote the movie's dialogue. The actor/comedian Coluche plays an alcholic who works as the guy who pomps gas during the graveyard shift in Paris.

It's my favorite french movie this year because I love dark heroes. It' s a great emotional roller coaster, even upsetting at times. Shows and reminds the audience how to be a true friend, a ride or die.

448 - J'ai gardé une affiche de Tchao Pantin, quelques photos du film ainsi que la critique que j'en écrivis à sa sortie pour mes cahiers de cinéma. Critique assez savoureuse à relire et qui ferait le régal d'un correcteur. Mais je n'avais que 15 ans et ne tapais qu'avec un doigt (alors qu'aujourd'hui j'en utilise deux avec une detxérité flole). Je me revois encore, après la projection, KO debout, marchant dans les rue du 8ème, cherchant mes mots pour pondre mon texte, la musique de Charlélie Couture encore dans les oreilles.
