Another quick post from your favorite transgender IT professional!

We all know the struggle of “UGH it won’t let me use this” or “HOW did i get hacked!”, so here’s a tip from my first privacy training!

It’s actually quite simple, think of a phrase you use and say a lot. Now take only the first letter from each word, and keep the punctuation! For example, we can use this phrase from Alice in Wonderlands Jabberywocky:

“Beware the jabberwock, my son

The jaws that bite, the claws that catch

Beware the jubjub bird and shun

the frumious bandersnatch”

and can turn that into

“btjmys,tjtb,tctc,btjbas,tfb”

boom! Now you have a nice, long password, and it’s almost impossible to brute-force your way into your account!

But i hear you go “wait! I need a number! I need a capital!” well that’s where we take the easy road!

you could do “btjmys,tjtb,tctc,btjbas,tfb1” or “Btjmys,tjtb,tctc,btjbas,tfb”, or any mixture that’s satisfying to you!

That’s all! Nice and quick, and super easy! It can be a meme, a poem, shit even the names of all your kids or siblings!
