hi my name is leo!

my pronouns are they/he - i'm aroace - i'm 15

i live in the us (insert brian yelling CA-CAW!)

my main fandom/special interest is jet lag: the game (#teamben) but i will also talk your ear off about hermitcraft, music/concerts i've been to, airplanes, and heartstopper

jet lag fandom info; i've been watching wendover since the "why flying is so expensive" video so i think like seven years (basically since i was nine), i got into jet lag halfway through season 8 but binged the entire show in three days start to finish before letting myself watch season 8

i'm a writer, usually stick to poetry but i'm experimenting with going back to also writing longer form stuff

i'm a marching band kid ,,, im in front ensemble/pit and play rack percussion but i have a special spot in my heart for drums (fun fact; i have comprehensively damaged myself while playing drums yet i'm still attached!) i also play guitar but not for my schools band

i'm a minor please don't flirt with me or anything like that

Just realized you're a fan of Never Have I Ever? And #TeamBen? Ahhh. Who are your favorite characters and ships? Which season(s) do you prefer? I'm so happy to see other people who share multiple fandoms with me!

Yes! Never Have I Ever is great!!! And I'm very much Team Ben. :)

Ben is definitely my favourite character. I'm incredibly attached to him for Personal Reasons. He means a lot to me and is probably my 4th fave fictional character ever (after Matthew/Alastair/Tessa). This is a high honour considering that a consume a L O T of media.

But I also really love my beloved stoner himbo Trent. I'd take a bullet for him. Nalini and Devi are also favourites, they're so complex and real.

I'm obviously a Benvi shipper, but Treleanor is so fun to watch, too. My favourite relationships on the show besides Benvi are Ben with Trent, Ben with Patty, and Nalini with Devi.

My favourite season is by far season 3. I think it gave Ben the meatiest plotlines, and I love 3x6 because it means a lot to me. The writing was really funny and charming (which I felt season 4 lost a lot of) and I enjoyed the ending so much. I'm 3 > 1 >>>>>> 4 >>>>>>> 2.

Time check: 11:45PM. Just finished watching Never Have I Ever S4!!!! Well, kinda bawling my eyes right now. Family, friendships, life lessons, character development, changes, and pretty much surviving life. Missing this show already!!! 😭😭😭 It’s impossible to count the number of times I’ve watched, rewatched, overwatched (??) this show!! Will probably squeeze in some more during this lifetime ahahahaha. 🤗 Oh and just so you know, I’m on #TeamBen since Day 1, and I just kept on waiting, and waiting, annnd waiting for that moment where they can finally be together — and they did!!!!! *my BenVi heart you guysss 🥹🫶🏻✨

The Bexley State of the Community 2020 Roundtable Highlights

Highlights from the 2020 Bexley State of the Community

The 9th Annual Bexley State of the Community took place earlier this evening at the Agnes Jeffrey Shedd Theatre at the Columbus School for Girls in Bexley.  Shaking things up this year, there was a Roundtable-style format with reports from Bexley Mayor Ben Kessler, Bexley Area Chamber Director Elaine Pelz, Bexley Public Library Director Ben Heckman, and Bexley Community Foundation Board Chair Jeffrey Walker.  The Q&A Session at the end was moderated by Bexley City Council President Lori Ann Feibel.

Among the things taking place in Bexley in 2020: - The Reusable Bag Initiative (which began on January 1) - The completion of the dog park at Schneider Park - The continuation of getting the Ferndale/Mayfield Apartments in Southwest Bexley to EPA Standards. - The renovation and addition to Jeffrey Mansion. - TWO Bexley Census events on March 19 and April 1.  The latter date is Census Day, and will be held at the Bexley Public Library. - The Bexley Chamber will host a Golf Outing in June. - The Bexley Library will once again be part of the COSI Science Festival in May. - Author Susan Orlean will speak as part of the Bexley Author Series on April 21 on her book, The Library.

There was no report from Bexley City Schools at the State of the Community, as they are having their own separate State of the Schools event later this month.  That will be held on February 26 at 5:45PM at Bexley High School, with the Presentation by Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Pietsch Miller, starting at 6:45PM.

Book review-#1 Virals by Kathy Reichs

It was very good. I loved all the characters and the plot was amazing. There were parts were i laughed and raged. It involved murder which i personally do not go in that general direction in books but Kathy wrote this book perfectly and i loved when the tables turned and surprised when i saw how deep connections can go. I say "i love" a lot i know but it is an amazing book and i'm #TeamBen. I give it five out of five books and i will definitely be finishing the series.

Trying something new

I’ve never really tried pixel art before. but after losing a few hours work in Photoshop i decided to try it out to let off some steam, here’s a little Mickey I whipped up.

Grey box all the way to Gold!

Grey Box

Starting off with a grey box and an idea to make this game about a guy just having a bad day in Downtown New York, and the challenge here for me was the level design, because I had no idea how I was gonna lead the player through a city area. 

Alpha 

Alpha I just added a fps controller and some simple models, was a playable level at the least.

Beta

Beta is when I really started to build up a level and make it fell like a downtown area.

Gold

Gold I just focused on making the scene look as nice and clean as possible with some post processing lighting, fully textured models and a game with mechanics! :D

Summary 

So pretty much I made this game about a Guy named Dontae Wilson who has just lost his job he’s walking in the rain and he’s just having a really bad day and the goal of the game is to just get to the bus stop and go home.  This game was a really fun experience and this module was probably the best one to work on so far, I learnt a lot and am happy to of made this level! :D

Jumping back into Maya

Today I went back to Maya for the first time in a while to make a bed for my upcoming narrative story. As you can see it extremely simple and plain. But I think its enough to get the job done.
