Throbbing noise and comb.

I'll be honest, this recording doesn't really spark joy. It's one of a series of almost interesting, not quite there recordings. Each attempt this session was a bit different due to the chaotic nature of the patch, and none of them quite right, but I had to cut my losses and I still want to share in the spirit of Jamuary.

I'm using DFAM as well as Erbe-Verb pinged by 0-ctrl/effectively like a DFAM with parallel sequencing, then EV through Prism and Magneto. There are some interesting tonal qualities caused by Prism's bitcrush and comb delay.

This could probably turn into something with more time, but it's still fun to explore outside of your usual paradigms. I'm honestly still not sold on inertia, though. I'll take some time with a different setup for a few recordings then come back for that one to try it out.

In a world increasingly filtered through screens, I create images that hover between presence and illusion. 

My work is a collision of analog and digital - paint, pixels, collage, and code - layered to form dense, hybrid spaces where meaning fragments and reforms. I draw from the noise of the everyday: outsider art, advertising, punk energy, glitch logic. These elements don't just coexist - they clash, dissolve, and recombine. I'm interested in what happens at these points of friction: where abstraction absorbs representation, where authorship slips, and where the viewer is invited not just to look, but to question their relationship with the image. 

Using digital photo-editing tools alongside hand-drawn marks and photographs, I construct visual surfaces that feel tactile yet untouchable - illusions of depth and form that ultimately reveal themselves as constructs. These are not paintings in the traditional sense, nor are they purely digital artifacts. They are something in between - transitional objects for a transitional age. 

My work is rooted in the belief that art should challenge perception, resist categorization, and mirror the fragmented, fast-moving world we now inhabit.

i think its fun to think about what genres a vocal synth voicebank ended up being suited to outside their marketing suggestions. mo xu is preddy good for rnb like her marketing says, at least the more softer, mumbly styles rather than the more powerful styles, but i also think shes kinda a shoe-in for 2010s indie cursive bananis........ aen avocadihs type singing because of how you can get some crazy articulations out of her on the soft end. genbu of course is great for pop rock and ballads BUT specifically i think hes shockingly good for emo rock and nu metal stuff. and hes CRAAAAZY in cunty edm like the glossiest sharpest more percussive 2008 pop girl dance number - so so so good. asterian of course does great in classical leaning sounds but also jazzy pop tunes and lo fi ballads like a true all rounder type voice- but i neeeeeeeed to hurry up and put him in some kinda 2000s ethereal trance tune because i KNOW he would EAT.

Something a little different today - a full length noise recording hosted via Bandcamp. Really appreciate any support on this!

Audio path is Strega->Erbe-Verb->Magneto. There is a CV feedback path where the CV out from EV is mixed with a negative offset then half-wave rectified, and the resulting signal is fed into Strega's activation input. This combined with manual control of activation interference leads to jittery, chaotic sequences which loop for a while, then spin off into a new direction as changes are made before stabilizing again.

Peppino Spaghetti: was an owner of the pizzeria, unfortunately after a war he went bankrupt and became an engineer instead (has his own workshop, he still tries to make business)

Mr. Stick: Peppino’s “fellow”, was working for him as an assistant. Soon he became a successful businessman. Has his own building company in which Peppino is working now.

Fake Peppino: is fake Peppino, but is literally pure evil and has no mercy. People call him a real monster. He is blind, but can hear in 75 km radius with high volume.

Pepperman: is a famous YouTuber. He is quite a bastard, but he really likes helping people. Mr Beast 2, I guess.

Noisette: 17 years old game designer and artist on Tumblr.

Noise the Hacker: he is a hacker. Noise can hack any system and security. He is also a game designer, the boy can create games and teleport himself INTO the game. Also 17 years old.

Vigilante: Guard of the Pizza Tower. Fond of cowboy things

Pizzabrow: Pizzahead’s brother and right hand man. He helps him with different experiments and inventions, but Pizzabrow is definitely against Pizzahead’s intentions

Pizzahead: is just Pizzahead, but uses his technological costume in phase 4 in the battle with Peppino.

Bombface: controlled by Pizzabrow. In “It’s Bombastic Time!” he chases Peppino, but as soon as he enters lap 3, a countdown will begin. When the countdown ends, Bombface blows up and kills Peppino.
