#teldryn being a dad

Text
So many things about Darra and her family would be explained by being part of House Sotha, a completely unremarkable little house known mostly for rural fisherfolk who occasionally wrestle lake creatures.
However, this led me to realize Darra and Teldryn are two halves of a Morrowind Florida Man.
She comes from a long line of kwama herders and fishers, upended by her dad moving to Skyrim to trade sundries post-Red Year. He comes from an Ashlander warrior-hunter clan, with his teenage years in the grasslands interrupted by blight and his mother moving to Mournhold to look for his father.
She catches fish by hand, yells at sabrecats to make them leave, and climbs up and jumps off high places without much thought. Also, “Local Dunmer Evades Arrest for Theft of 5 Cheese Wheels by Eating Evidence.”
He openly summons, won’t get his cough checked, doesn’t turn down a challenge, and hasn’t lost a fight. He has used his expired Redoran guard identification to get out of being arrested (again) by the Redoran guard. (And has since refused to join any organization that would have him as a member.)
They are two halves of a Morrowind Florida Man, and they have the stomach to deal with anything from skeevers to undead. They both carry more weapons than they declare.
After the dragon crisis and whatever is going on in Skyrim it is not unlikely Teldryn proposes moving to Vvardenfell, where they rehabilitate cliff racers and hand feed them, or something like that.

Requesting info on the 6th house au you were posting about bc yo that sounds cool
You can't see it through a screen but I'm like
Actually physically vibrating.
I came up with this AU over a year ago and it was basically "what if Alexi (my Nerevarine) just. Joined the 6th House instead of killing Dagoth Ur?"
The timing of WHEN she joined has changed a bit (from right before the fight to when she meets Dagoth Gares) and the REASONING has changed a lot (from "I don't actually like Morrowind, fuck them dudes" to "I have 0 support system and have a child and I've been sucked into a cult") but the very very basic premise is the same.
It was initially my crack AU where I couldn't tell if I wanted to ship Alexi and Dagoth Ur or not. And now it has like... Dementia metaphors. How did this even happen.
Anyways, the story ACTUALLY follows Alexi's daughter (who's never been Dagoth Ur's, no matter when in this AU's history you look). Her arc used to be centered around a lot of confusion as to why people hated her, and why things were happening, etc etc. Now she's actually gonna do something about it in the end. I'm gonna have so many random thoughts at the bottom of this just. Smushed in.
It also went from Armina being the one with zero support system to now she has an adopted sister and also a best friend/love interest when she's older. Terastelle Telvanni (sister) save me.. save me Terastelle Telvanni...
Anywho, the story has like... 2 main plots: Armina learning her dad is ✨terrible✨ and Alexi progressing through Corprus and becoming Nerevar (and losing Alexi). I will just say, though, to Armina and Tera, since they're actually IN the cult, Dagoth Ur is not a menacing figure until they know what's going on outside the mountain. I'm writing a scene where Armina literally drags him around. He's not Dagoth Ur to those kids, he's just dad.
Anyway, Alexi holds the Tools of Kagrenac (from the original au) for the most part, and she used them to manipulate the Heart to make sure her children wouldn't get Corprus (side effect was about a generation can't get it because she didn't know how to specify well). Alexi, however, DOES get it, and it leads to her physically and mentally becoming Nerevar, if that makes sense? The way it affects her is it morphs her body to be more similar to his, and it degrades her mind until she's left with only his memories and personality. And her kids have to watch it in real time 👍.
Anyway, back to the main cast: Armina, Terastelle, and Teldryn Sero. The last one was not planned.
All three represent both the main 3 star signs, as well as the Good 3 Daedra, AND they fall into "bad Daedra" counterparts later
Armina is half Bosmer and half Dunmer, and she's the Warrior and representation of Mephala (cause she's in a web of lies) and she falls to Clavicus Vile in a search for power to destroy Dagoth Ur. She fights with a big ol' 2-handed sword.
Terastelle is half Dunmer and half Altmer, she's the Mage and the representation of Boethiah. My violence wins mage <3. She falls to Malacath because of how she's treated in the cult (not as badly as those outside of the mountain, but less well than Armina, because even though Armina isn't a full Dunmer, she's also Nerevar's child, so she gets a pass). Tera gets motivated by vengeance after she learns her parents were murdered by the cult. This goes interestingly for her. Idk if she gets really hurt by it or not, but she's very scorches earth about "no Dagoth survivors" just like how her family had no survivors.
Teldryn is the thief who represents Azura, and he's the only full Dunmer in the gang, but he's from outside the mountain. When he's introduced, Blacklight is the most recent addition to the house. He falls to Sheogorath (seeking a middle ground led him to insanity or something, idk). He fights with pretty much his normal fighting style from Skyrim, which is pretty mixed. I need to develop him more in the context of the AU, but I'll get to that after this.
Anywho, random thoughts now!
As the Warrior, Armina protects the Steed from the Serpent, and Alexi's sign is the Steed 👍
Both Alexi and Armina are trying to save the people they love, in different ways, and in the end, both fail.
Is my HoK still Sheogorath or is it normal Sheo?
Armina can manipulate dreams which is part of what pushes her to be Dagoth Ur's favorite child.
The way the story is written changes as Armina grows up and then learns more about the cult. Slow-burn horror 👍
I get to write Clavicus Vile at some point, I'm excited.
Armina asking Alexi why she doesn't wear layers and Alexi trying to find a way to answer that isn't "because I don't expect to have skin for much longer anyway”. The answer she ends up going with is "Mountain's too damn hot" and then starts crying whenever her daughter leaves the room
Alexi's character in that AU is so interesting to me
Like, she's technically placed very high in the hierarchy, probably second to Dagoth Ur himself, yet she's got next to no power because those she loves would be in danger if she tried anything
Anyways, I'm writing for this, drawing for it, and I'll start posting more stuff once I have the first bit of the story written and the portrait finished. Have a Tera for your time <3
Tumblr media
I love you, Terastelle Telvanni...

Allergies
I recently realized that I had this sitting around in my Scrivener documents and hadn't published it anywhere, so I have to share snarky Dunmer with everyone. I wrote this a few months ago for @sneaksandsweets with her OC Dreki. (In her universe, Neloth and Teldryn are Dreki's dads.)
Enjoy some shenanigans.
They had been over this several times before. Dreki’s medicine was supposed to be in reach at all times no matter what.
Who would have thought that someone so handsome could also be so horridly dull?
Neloth sighs as his slippers clack in short staccato notes across the hardened wooden floors of his home. Brilliant in construction—as with everything House Telvanni—, the strange mushroom abode thrives in the middle of the ashen wasteland he finds himself in. Everything down to the last detail has been tested over and over again meticulously to make sure it works perfectly—except apparently for his husband.
“Teldryn,” he raises his voice, but only slightly, with irritation as he holds a crying Dreki in his arms.
Slowly but steadily, her body has been filling with many angry, raised welts from some unidentifiable allergen. While this has happened before with a number of other substances—nuts being the most notable—the rate at which this new reaction is snaking up their adoptive daughter’s flesh is alarming. This coupled with manner in which she is wheezing—as if her lungs were straining to draw in breath—has Neloth almost in a panic.
Where is Teldryn?
His state of less than calm causes Neloth to quicken his pace, the time between the clacking of his slippers reduced to next to nothing as he enters the kitchen.
“What in Oblivion are you doing? Standing around with your—hair?” Neloth vaguely gestures to his husband in frustration. “Are you good for nothing else, or are you just a pretty face with good swordsmanship.”
Teldryn does not miss a beat. Having become accustomed to Neloth’s infamous tantrums and sharp tongue, he knows exactly how to respond, even if he is currently panicked himself. “Of which you seemed to have enjoyed immensely last night.”
While an excellent quip under any other circumstances, it does not even earn a derisive sniff from the Telvanni wizard. “You were supposed to be in charge of Dreki’s medications! Look at her! If she continues like this, she soon will not be able to breathe.”
“I am well aware of this, dear husband. However, it seems that there is no more. Instead of pointing fingers and blaming me, how about you use that brain of yours for something productive, hm?” Teldryn straightens his back as he levels his husband an unamused look. “I am doing all I can, but unfortunately I am not a master wizard unlike someone else in this room.”
“You aren’t?” Neloth feigns shock. “Ah, yes but if Dreki needs a sword, you’ll be the first one to come running, yeah? Fat load of good that will do her right now as—”
Suddenly, Dreki starts a worrying fit of coughs, effectively quieting both of the bickering Dunmer.
“You had better get started, Neloth.”
Point taken, the wizard reluctantly places an uncomfortable and squirming Dreki into Teldryn arms. “I see I have to be the one to do everything around here as per usual. While I am a master in many schools of magic, my pursuits do not typically fall into Restoration or Alchemy; however, I am sure I can turn up something.” He sniffs and turns to walk back towards his laboratory.
Once he is gone, Teldryn begins to bounce Dreki on his hip as he tries to comfort her as much as he can.
“Your dad really is something else, isn’t he?” He mutters under his breath. While he doesn’t really expect an answer from Dreki, it does elicit a small smile from her.
“I heard that.” Neloth calls out from somewhere deep in their home.
“Stop worrying about me and start with the magic, master wizard.”

*Gigi falls from the chimney like Santa Claus, but instead of presents, she carries ✨questions✨*
🍋: What is your OC's most painful memory?
🍍: Where does your OC feel most comfortable?
🍆: Does your OC have any favourite form of affection, physical or otherwise?
🍇: What sort of friend are they? Where are they in the group dynamic?
🍪: What is something that's sentimental to you OC?
🍹: Does your OC have any funny anecdotes told about them?
All for Hjaldir and Signe! 🥰
Christmas came early for me because WHOA! THAT'S A LOT OF PRESENTS! What did I do to deserve this? Thank you, so, so much, my dear!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
🍋: What is your OC's most painful memory?
Ooof, this hit me in the feels, but there are two for Hjaldir, I’m not sure which is more painful, but I’ll answer chronologically. Also, his story may change as I keep writing, but essentially, this is the backbone of it.
His mother’s death. Hjaldir and his mom were bards for a very wealthy family, but they were treated very badly, almost like slaves. They lived in the barn, while the wealthy family was sleeping delightfully in their manor. His mother was a single mom and she taught him everything about music, but she fell ill, and died shortly after. It really hit him hard, and the fact that he felt so incapable to do anything to help her was awful, because he did not have lots of money. He tried working overtime, and in her final days, he really thought about becoming a pirate and bring her all the wealths that he gained, but that never happened. But her death was what broke the chains for him and his old lifestyle, because she kept telling him that he should go and build a life for himself, but he stayed for her. Now, he was free to do whatever he wanted, and so he felt the sea calling for him.
The second one is Endryn’s death, of course. He loved his life at the Emerald Bar, and Endryn was his best friend. His life was a perfect balance of peaceful and adventurous. He was never away from the sea for too long, first of all, because Blacklight is a city with a big port, and secondly because he kept going on trips to different parts of Tamriel (Mostly High Rock) to resupply the Tavern. Ravonna very often accompanied him, and they were always up to shenanigans. Teldryn was a good friend and an even better drinking opponent, and his bond with Ravonna was the strongest one he felt in his life. And all of that died with Endryn. He knew nothing would be the same. Both Ravonna and Teldryn left, and he was left alone with his thoughts and grief. And unlike Ravonna and Teldryn, he is a very social person, being alone is not good for him.
For Signe, she doesn’t really have anything specific, her life is very dangerous with people constantly dying, and they’re all very sad. However, she doesn’t want to linger in grief and quickly shoves it away, even if she doesn’t fully process it. The sad part that left a constant sadness in her soul was leaving her dad behind in order to write her own story and pursue the life that she wanted for herself.
🍍: Where does your OC feel most comfortable?
Both of them feel comfortable at sea, or close to it, I suppose. Nothing beats the sounds of waves. Very cliché, I know, but they’re pirates :))))
🍆: Does your OC have any favourite form of affection, physical or otherwise?
I answered this for Hjaldir here!
As for Signe, her form of affection is not so physical. Gift giving is her jam. She grew up wealthy and doesn’t really care much for riches or treasures. The smiles on her loved one’s faces when she shows them with gifts is her favoured treasure!
🍇: What sort of friend are they? Where are they in the group dynamic?
Hjaldir is a teamplayer, he works best when he is part of a group, and he is very much a wildcard, too. You can never know exactly what he’ll do next. Not blindly loyal, either. He also brings humor and light-heartedness in the group, but I think that at this point, this is the default trait I give to my ocs :)))
And Signe is the leader of the group 100%! The legendary Deathbrand, most feared pirate, but also secretly a team player, because there is no captain without a crew. Still, she always had this leader aura about her.
🍪: What is something that's sentimental to you OC?
GNAWING AT THE BARS OF MY ENCLOSURE AND FOAMING AT THE MOUTH WHILE TRYING NOT TO MAKE HJALDIR HAVE A “PIECE OF FABRIC” THAT ONCE BELONGED TO HIS MOTHER BECAUSE THAT IS TOOO OFMD BLACKBEARD AND I’VE ALREADY MADE HIS STORY KIND OF INSPIRED BY IT, but maybe that. WHy is everyone in this family at least slightly inspired by Blackbeard 😭Definitely something to remind him of his mother. And also maybe something cute from Ravonna. A ring that she bought for him (with his own money lmao) when she was a kid because it was a ring with a skull on it and skulls are very pirate-y, at least in kid Ravonna’s eyes.
Signe’s not the type of person to get attached to material things, but when she received a letter from her father, informing her that he is finally [REDACTED, FOR SPOILER REASONS] she kept it in her inner pocket for the rest of her life.
🍹: Does your OC have any funny anecdotes told about them?
OOF WHERE DO I EVEN START WITH THIS ONE!!? Pirates who’ve known adventure and shenanigans all their lives have too many funny anecdotes, but I’ll go with the ones that first come to mind!
I’m not sure if this is canon yet, but I came up with it because I want Hjaldir to have more time and to be able to do a lot of badass stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I love it when I see elderly characters as well, and he will still have his badass old man moments and his very sexy gray hairs among his raven black hair, but I also want him to join the fellowship in their adventures, so I came up with this: on one of his adventures, he found a crypt with his crew and they robbed it. Turns out it was a mad alchemist who resided there, and he left a very strange potion on his desk. Everyone was wondering what it was, and Hjaldir, being the chaotic disaster that he is, just straight up chugged it. Turns out it was an elixir of elongating one’s life and a potion that the mad alchemist worked really hard on, which he failed to make again.
And another one for Hjaldir, because I find this very endearing and perhaps a bit of evidence that both him and Ravonna are a bit gray. On one trip to High Rock, they pretended to be fancy psychics that could foresee the future, they had a fancy bowl that Ravonna looked into and pretended to read and everything! They set up a tent and charged people and said *the* most generic bullshit ever. And people were eating. It. up.
Signe also has her fair share of funny anecdotes, some which we will see in HOTHS. For now, the one that I’m most excited about is the crew being abducted by a wild tribe in Valenwood, and them making her some sort of high queen and prophet because of a necklace that she looted. Turns out it was an important artefact for that culture, but they thought they were going to be a big soup because Wood elves and cannibalism. The tribe didn’t speak any language that the crew did, but they managed to find a translator. In the end, Signe was missing a necklace, but gaining a new crew member. It’s a bit vague, but I will develop this more as I write, I think it will be an entire chapter of HOTHS.
Well, well, well, this got extremely long, but a mere thank you is not enough! This has helped me immensely in bot Hjaldir and Signe’s characterization! And I had so, so much fun doing this. Gigi, thank you so much, my dearest <3 <3 <3

fuck it I’m not tired, we’re wrenposting have some more (rambling) info on him. Misc stuff, some are kind of zesty
He can play the lute, but doesn’t do it often. Enjoys sea shanties.
Called Hircine dad on accident multiple times
His combat style is very acrobatic, he relies on a lot of momentum and interrupting attacks ( getting enemies to stagger, locking their joints, or jamming it weapon angle with his spear). He’s also used his spear like how people used poleaxes to propel themselves. Good chance he’ll swing down from something and either kick you in the face or leap on you and use his weight and momentum to throw you to the ground and stab you on the way down.
He knows some really weird and specific spells because that’s the perk of dating various mostly weird (often evil) wizards. Even his objectively not evil boyfriend from right before MW (Who, if asked and if she had knowledge of him, Erveasa would say was a bit of a bore with a lack of bloodthirst made his relationship with Wren basically doomed) was a restoration mage doing things like testing (weak) thunder magic combined with healing together to see how it woud effect tissue. One of his spells he taught Wren is the one that he used to heal his own slit neck during the assassination attempt and later his leg. Idk he likes weird dudes and it’s mostly been to his benefit (usually) as it turns out. I put “questionable taste in men” on every reference I make for him for a reason
Is a light sadomasochist, and is delighted when he has partners into this and (given his job I should need to add: consensual) situations arise (he doesn’t get off this way on his jobs, he just fucks em normally--big difference. The act of killing has nothing with him being able to get off, sex on the job is just a perk and method he uses since it works.)
Looks scrawny but has a lot of gradually accumulated lean muscle that’s not defined
Goes out on hunts with the Frostmoon pack regularly and sometimes brings up supplies from town. Usually comes back home soaked in blood and only wearing the pants he left in (why ruin his clothes?). Stopped being jarring for everyone in the house after a while. The presence of werebears also roaming in packs and the fact he goes out there alone with people who also aren’t notably powerful and a somewhat small number tends to make Teldryn antsy (despite Wren’s character and mw canon 10,000 health lol) and he finds himself staying up and waiting for him to get back (but will claim the book he’s reading is just so engrossing that he didn’t keep track of time, what a coincidence...) (Wren is well aware of why he’s doing that--too bad they’re terrible talking about their feelings if they can’t turn it into Jokes they quickly move on from)
Displays some canine behaviors once a werewolf. Tilting his head while listening is a big one.
He also eats a lot, but way more since becoming a werewolf (that form burns a LOT of calories). He doesn’t really put on any weight, he’s never really been able to after a certain point (which isn’t necessarily a good thing...). He’s like that one kid who got kicked out of a CiCi’s for going nuts on the pizza because his doctor told him to eat like crazy. He’s occasionally come back from hunts ready for a food coma and/or with a killer stomach ache
Do not grab his neck in the front, he will freak out and avoid you after. If for some reason you gotta grab the back of his neck in like a medical scenario or something then that’s fine. Tied to the assassination attempt on him
Additionally, grabbing his waist or hips makes things awkward...or sexy, depending on the context. Don’t do it if you aren’t intending to turn him on, or make him uncomfortable--if you do you’ll get stabbed. He wears things around it to mitigate the sensation and just make it more likely you’ll grab his scarf belt thing and not his actual body.
Gets bitey if he’s overstimulated. Fidgets a lot.
He does not let himself cry. Like at all. If he gets sad he just loses all affect and goes quiet. When Needle died that dam broke. Happened again in the 4th era too but it was like relieved crying and not “my pet who I raised from a baby was the only thing here for me is dead and also I have one fully functional arm, I lost my family’s dagger in a volcano, and almost bled to death like 2 days ago in the aforementioned volcano” (Almalexia healed his arm as the blessing you get from her--perfectly functional, but still scarred. Maybe a symbolism thing, maybe because it was already healing but WOULD scar regardless, whatever it was)
Surprisingly cuddly despite his trust issues. Cuddling isn’t a purely romantic thing for him either, he’ll do it platonically as well. He can and will splay himself across you somehow (if you’re cool with it)
He’s good with kids, but after caring for other younger orphans with the others his age range and older, he’s had enough with that kind of thing and has no drive to have any himself. Also he knows he’d be a terrible parent. Great babysitter and other very short term arrangements, but your kid might come back knowing incinerate, though. Occasionally watches Dusk and Kharjo’s kid (Dusk’s first kid is around college age, so he doesn’t need to be babysat)

Let's round out the collection - your thoughts on dad!Caryalind and dad!Nebarra and maybe a dash of dad!Teldryn (because I love him)? And whoever else I haven't named but deserves to be on the list.
I'll give you a muffin and a picture of a chihuahua hellhound in exchange.
How can I say no to such an enticing offer? That along with my overwhelming need to turn every man into a dilf, of course.
Caryalind: I believe Rabbitt said our dear prince would like to have kids, but he'd only really know how to deal with well-behaved ones like Khash. He just doesn't know how to discipline or deal with tantrums but that's okay because the LDB is there too, and maybe he'll learn along the way. Overall, Cary would spoil his kids with love and literally be the most supportive father in all of history. You want to be a mage? Wonderful! An artist? Amazing! He'd constantly let his kids know how proud he is, and honestly it would just be so wholesome.
Nebarra: More Nebarras in the world? A truly terrifying notion. This man is an enigma. We haven't seen much of that side of him yet, so it's anyone's guess. However, he clearly cares deeply about those who are close to him, we can see that by how protective he is, so I think he'd make a decent father. He'd probably dote on his kids, but he is most certainly a horrible influence. I think in Whiterun he says something about being able to tell a lot from a person by the way their kids act? Yeah, that definitely rings true, because his kids would all be a pack of smart-asses.
Teldryn: Honestly, I think he'd be a bit similar to Nebs, but Tel is more suited for it. That and he's a bit better at watching his mouth around children. I also think he'd be a pretty active father. He'd be really into teaching his kids through experience and they'd probably travel a lot.
Uhhhh and I'll throw in Xel bc he has dad material written all over him.
Xelzaz: He would be such a cool dad. I mean, what can't he do? He's like one of those moms that has everything in her purse. He's literally ready for every situation. Also, you can see by the way he treats Khash how gentle and how good he is at teaching and explaining things to kids. 10/10 best dad.

Llevana canons:
- girl is a speed demon. Dwemer pod racers, horseback, whatever; you name it, she’s putting the pedal to the metal
- wishes she knew her mum, but loves her dad to bits. Even if her dad does have questionable taste (he’s now married to Ancano, and Tolfdir has been made Arch-Mage).
- She’s got a mad crush on Enthir, and Enthir doesn’t know what to do because he’s used to flirting, but not being flirted with.
- Her sense of fear is severely impaired lmao. She doesn’t really get afraid and she also has a stupidly high pain tolerance.
- All the men in her life worry about her and they’re all convinced she’s going to give them a heart attack one day. Arniel Gane, Enthir, Tolfdir and Severin (her dad). But there are some who egg her on, like Ancano, Faralda and Teldryn Sero.
- Teldryn Sero is “Uncle Teldryn” to Llevana, since he was her father’s best friend.
- Ancano secretly adores her and will happily cause a scene / distract Severin if she wants to sneak out to see Enthir. Both Ancano and Llevana know that his ‘evil stepmother’ act is complete pantomime and one big bit

I knows there’s a lot of talk about Teldryn Sero being the Nevevarine but I think him being the only child of the Nerevarine and maybe Vivec or Dagoth so much more interesting. Think of the idea of having an immortal mother or father that literally brought down a major religion, was a horator of the great houses while being a Telvanni. Having your biological other parent also part of that and might have killed your mom/dad in a previous life.
Oh and then he falls in love with the Dragonborn.
The family gatherings would be so intense.

🖊 🖊 🖊 🖊 🖊 🖊 🖊
[SLAMS PENS INTO SENU’S HANDS]
[scoops up the pens] The power . . . (◕‿◕) Oh yeah. It's all coming together.
🖊 I definitely DON'T have another Skyrim fanfiction in the works I definitely don't--okay, fine, yes, I do. It's slow going because I HATE my introduction right now aaaaand haven't come up with how to fix it. Shatha is my Argonian Listener and she's GREAT. She's a little crazy and her backstory is . . . sad, I suppose, but she WILL make an appearance in Petrichor. Don't worry everyone EVERYTHING WILL ALL MAKE SENSE YOU JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT! I'm really excited to write out Vig and Shatha's interactions [again] because they're very, shall I say, different from each other.
🖊 My eventual Harbinger of the Companions is a Khajiit named Do'Shavir and he loves Teldryn. At some point. But he's the sweetest of all of my OCs. He's genuine, honest, loyal, and good at heart. That means he's hurt easily and loves a lot, so I think the Companions questline would be super tough for him to handle due to all the vengeance and death that he faces. He would manage it though! He knows he has to learn and grow in order to become his very best uwu
🖊 I have a Breton Arch Mage [at the moment, I may tweak him in some ways at some point] named Vinsith and he's kiiiiind of evil. He's deep into the Daedric shit and will do anything to achieve his ends. He's also blind but uses 'magic' to see his way around! He's very charismatic towards everyone, so he's a character that has a mask he puts on for the public eye and is a very dark person in private. Let's just say that the Thalmor would be terrified of him.
🖊 My Thieves Guild Master is an Altmer named Aerwynn! I like her backstory that I've created so far but I may tweak it a little. I also have no idea who all I want her to like or romance or whatever as she's just an indecisive as she sounds. Maybe Brynjolf? Maybe Karliah? Maybe someone else entirely?? I don't know. She won't make up her mind. But she's good at being a thief and so that's why she is granted the rank of Master. I'm not sure how intimately involved she would get with Nocturnal, as I had plans to write her story out too [at some point] and certainly saw myself making changes to the questline [as one does when writing fanfiction eh?].
🖊 OH MY GOD I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION YOTUL!! As I'm sure everyone that has read up to chapter 5 has noticed, Yotul is not a character in the game! She's my own character, and one that I created to act as an interesting arch-nemesis to Vigdis [and Serana too]. Feran talked a little bit about what he knew of her. She's an Orsimer that's absolutely dedicated to Harkon after he saved her life and will prove to be a tough enemy. She won't play a huge part for the time being, but I do intend on having her cause problems for our favourite hunter and vampire.
🖊 Everyone should be worried about Vigdis because, seriously, I have so much planned for her. Perhaps too much. I know right now she's not really acting as the Dragonborn and is just a boring and sassy vampire hunter, but that will come into play in due time. In fact, if you have sharp eyes, it already has at least once OwO It's the little hints here and there that point to her being the Dragonborn--although they are a bit obscure and are kind of my own headcanons anyway so . . . IT WILL ALL MAKE SENSE SOME DAY AHAHAHAH [coughs] I'm fine
🖊 I also have two fraternal twins--one that's a Bard at the Bard's College and the other that ends up joining The Blades. I forget their names right now and I'm too lazy to pull up the document with all this information, but they're Bosmer! The guy that joins the Blades is a bit of a little bitch, but at least his sister is mellow and nice lsjgkdlgjl
🖊 LOOK! AN EXTRA PEN!! I have a Snow Elf OC whom I've shared photos of here named Helthune. She's been through a lot [I'm sorry for making you suffer--]. At some point I plan for her to end up in Gelebor's care, who becomes her adoptive dad because she DESERVES that, at the very least. Plus he seems like he's great dad material. Don't you think??
Uh oh. It seems I've run out of ink despite having an extra pen. [shoves empty pens into back pocket] Until next time.

So, we got "meeting the folks", but what about parenting? How chaotic or good the Skyrim boys would be as parents?
Skyrim Husbandos as Parents:
HOOOHOOHOOHOH
Doing this with a female reader!
-----------------------------------
Ulfric Stormcloak: Definitely wanted an heir to take the throne. When discovering the big news, he'll fantasize about the sheer joy their future son will bring. The new High King will become excited at the thought of having a powerful and ambitious prince. That is, until "prince" is later edited to "princess." That's right! Turns out Ulfric gets a little girl instead! In fact, I feel like it's one of those scenarios where he has, like, seven kids in total and they're all girls LMAO.
What kind of a parent would this guy be if he wasn't a busy one? He loves his children more than Talos himself, but in the end he's still the same politically driven Nord. He says, "not now, dear", "go play with your sisters", "the tea party will have to wait, my snowflake", etc. etc. He tries, though.
Veezara: Poor guy has little-to-no parenting skills (at first). It's sad, really. With his assassin career quite literally starting in his early infantry, he's never experienced parental affection, let alone having parents in general. So forgive him if he seems a bit clueless on how to treat his young. But he's a quick learner!
Surprisingly enough, Veezara would most likely be an extremely gentle parent. It isn't until he first holds his child in his arms when he finally realizes the beauty of life. And due to this, he turns his back on the Shadowscale along with the Brotherhood and will convince you to do the same. His children mean the world to him, and he'll spend every moment of every day with them. He doesn't want them to be associated with violence, however, he'll certainly teach them how to properly defend themselves.
Argis the Bulwark: Pshh, screw "Argis the Bulwark", it's "Argis the Papa Bear" now. If anyone were to approach me and tell me that he wouldn't be an awesome dad, they're getting expensive wine splashed in their face. They get another splash if they tell me he doesn't say dad jokes, either.
I imagine Argis to be the type to portray some kind of beast to startle his kids. There will be regular occasions of him simply chasing after his children throughout the house, roaring like an animal in response to their giddy squeals. An energetic dad, by far.
Teldryn Sero: I see Teldryn as the immature type of dad. Hell, you might as well be raising him, too. Instead of having your husband backing you up when disciplining your children, he's just as guilty as they are! In fact he's usually the one delivering the influence. So when getting onto your kids, expect lots of "papa told us to!" and, "papa said we could!"
On a sidenote, he loves telling bedtime stories. The children will plead and beg him to share more, which kind of defeats the purpose since they're supposed to be asleep. He also has a knack for reminiscing back on the time when you both first met. It's heartwarming, but they can't help but gag in corny disgust.
(often refers to his kids as "runts" or "rascals")
Ancano: DEFINITELY treats his kids like spoiled brats, which only comes naturally to his Altmer genes. He wants them to have the best of the best; the best education, best manners, best home life, best everything. To clarify, Ancano doesn't want his children to be the best. He just wants them to have the best. Much of this is comes from the neglect he received from his own family as a child.
Affection doesn't come easily for the poor mage. He loves his kids to bits, but he has a difficult time expressing it sometimes. He may become startled or even grimace when being squished into a clumsy hug or when being greeted by a peck on the cheek, but he's trying. He enjoys giving his children head pats and shoulder squeezes a lot. He'll also like to write brief notes for them, an example being: "Be sure to eat every crumb of the lunch I made you or there will be blood. - Sincerely, your endearing father. Mother blows many kisses."
Miraak: He rarely gets emotionally attached to anything. But much like Veezara, the first time he held his child in his arms was absolutely groundbreaking for him. And when they reached out their fragile hand to latch onto his finger, he swore he could feel his heart skip three beats.
He's very protective of his kids. He already suffers enough separation anxiety with you, and having tiny versions of yourself running around is even worse! If Sahrotaar or a cult member can't watch over them, by Akatosh he might as well put a leash on the little things. As a bonus, Miraak will make sure that his children are very knowledgable in the ancient dragon ways. He'll personally teach them Dovahzul, he'll teach them how to ride dragons, and when they're at the right age, they'll even undergo training to harness the Voice if they so wish.
Savos Aren: He loves his kids to the plain of Oblivion and back, but boy do they stress the shit out of him. Arch Mage? Yeah right, more like Arch... Paranoia. I don't know where I was going with that. Poor Savos can't even focus on his work the majority of the time while knowing his kids are doing gods know what around the college. What if they fell off the bridge? What if they injured themselves in one of the alchemy labs? What if they were meddling around with the students' experiments?!
Under no circumstances are they allowed in his garden, either. Left and right, "don't touch those!", "no, you can't pick them because they are pretty. They are poisonous!", "gods above, I need your mother in here."
Whiterun Guard: (it was only a matter of time before I threw him in the charade) He boasts... a lot. Feel sorry for the unlucky soul on patrol with him, because he won't be able to shut up about you and the beautiful children you made together. You know the whole "arrow to the knee" phrase? It's that, just worse. "I used to be an adventurer like you. Then the best possible thing on Nirn happened to me and now even better. Look at this picture my boy drew me. I don't care if you've already seen it, I said LOOK."
---------------------------------------
I decided against adding Romlyn in this go-round since I already have some cute family headcanons for him. You can read them here!
ALSO, sorry for the slow content. School's been giving me an ass-whooping🥴

How would the elves(tm) react if they had accidentally made the hero cry?
I included a small bit for if the hero cried bc the elf had to say/do something thus tears.
Kinda Angsty warning.
This also mentions some heavy memories for certain elves. Unedited.
~~~
The elves making them cry.
Sotha Sil tries really hard to brush away the sting in his chest. He tends to avoid looking at people crying as it reminds him of the last day he saw his sister. However because they are his s/o, he gently explains why he may have done/said what he said. Understand this mer has spent a lifetime of this and feels the weight of it everyday. Please, forgive him, just this once.
Vivec feels his stomach sink when he sees their tears. It only hurts more when he knows he was the cause. Definitely apologizes even if it was out of his control. And even if they forgive him, he's bringing them gifts and sweets he knows that they favor. It's sorta selfish on his part, but he loves them. Please don't leave him behind.
Almalexia sees their tears and is reminded of a time when she had yelled at someone else in a display of angry impulse. And never had her radiance dimmed so quickly. She's frowning and she looks disgusted by her own actions. She's quiet for abit. Even after they forgave her. She is the last person they should be afraid of.
Voryn Dagoth froze. Eyes catching along the tears rolling down their face and he feels nothing but regret. He knew they'd be upset, but he never wanted to make them cry. Voryn bows his head not knowing what to say.
Mannimarco stops, and his eyes turn soft for a moment. Before they harden again. He'll act like their tears don't bother him especially when it was for their wellbeing. As they sniffle and cry quietly. He turns his back to them, biting his lip and wondering why his eyes sting.
Neloth takes a sharp intake of breath at the sight. Fighting his pride for several moments he eventually makes a frustrated sound. He crosses his arms and grumbles about how he wasn't worth their tears. He doesn't care about anyone else, but them? Curse his heart.
Divayth Fyr has thick skin but being a dad reminds him of how soft his heart really is underneath. His shoulders sag as he feels a wave of tiredness wash over him. The rare times he felt truly sad, all he wanted was sleep. Probably apologizes in his own way a day after the argument.
Teldryn Sero moves his gaze away with a frown. The intention wasn't to make them cry. But after the thing they just did, risked their life, he couldn't help but yell. He does apologize...but only when they lie slumbering under the stars.
Indoril Nerevar's expression flicks between stern and anguished. It was his promise to them to keep them happy. Feels terrible about causing their tears, but likely did it for a good reason. But still, it doesn't stop the shame from pooling in his chest. Voryn would be so disappointed.
12 Skyrim questions, tagged by @friend-of-giants :] This one got long, so the other 10 are under a read more.
I tag @olibavee and @elfyris but no pressure hue hue hue
1. What's your OC's favourite tavern?
The Retching Netch, always. She, Teldryn Sero, Glover Mallory, and Dreyla Alor become the late-late night “put the lights out when you’re done” crowd by the end of her stay, and the food and sujamma is homey but excellent. If the ash yam and horker stews aren’t enough, she can always pop outside to buy some skewers to bring back in.
2. What about their favourite beverage?
Sujamma is best! She pilfered her dad’s stash as a young woman, though she will also happily go for spiced wine or a good ale. Recently, though, she is much more likely to be drinking some hangover/indigestion cure-all of hackle-lo and turmeric from Solstheim. It tastes like turmeric and doesn’t really work.
3. Who do they travel with?
Since Inigo took a full-time job with the Dawnguard, Darra has been traveling with Teldryn Sero and her horse, Frost. Inigo joins them sometimes. She is also likely to join up with people she meets on her travels for a short while. In the past, she has journeyed with Zora Fair-child, Borgakh the Steel Heart, and Meresine, and who knows who else. In the future, she will travel with Serana, Lucien Flavius, possibly Elyas Salvi, Rumarin, and who knows who else.
4. Are they wealthy? How do they make money?
The good news is that you made a lot. The bad news is that you spent more. (Cut ‘Em In, Anderson .paak)
Darra has a good sense for business, making money, and keeping money, but refuses to go back to a sensible white-collar job and would rather have her adventures fund themselves. Many folk of Skyrim are willing to have her trek out into the wilds or exorcise the ghosts in their family tomb for some coin, but fortunately, dragon parts are a rare find and a lucrative venture, and many dragons seem to have a bone to pick with her. She also flips armor and weapons she picks up, having Balimund repair them and placing an enchantment before selling it off to another smith. She also has part-time employment sourcing research materials for the College of Winterhold for a small amount of gold, plus free tuition and books. She has a similar arrangement retrieving old scripts for the Bard’s College. Most of the coin goes right back into food, spellbooks, paying her rent, and maintaining her horse. Especially the horse.
5. Do they worship any aedra or daedra?
Darra finds comfort in the rituals surrounding the worship of Azura by common folk, but more out of familiarity and remembering her family than any real devotion to Azura. While he was still alive, her father was business-minded and quick to downplay their more contentious beliefs upon moving to Skyrim, so Mephala and Boethiah weren’t fixtures around the home either. Instead, their family was also quick to adopt the symbol of Zenithar for trade and solidarity with the workers and craftsmen they dealt with. Darra was given Zenithar’s anvil, but mostly uses it as a fancy paperweight. There is also a mysterious cheese wheel in her room that no one is allowed to move…
6. What is their biggest fear?
Facing the axe in Helgen strikes the biggest fear in Darra’s heart: dying without having lived her own life or living her own story. She ends up wandering Skyrim to figure it out, living some odd combination of “try everything now” and “but I can’t die trying oh no we’re really in it now help help.” Also, she is scared of Dwemer animunculi, going to jail, being captured by the Thalmor, falling off the stairs in Markarth, lightning magic, and hostile mages.
7. Any pet peeves? What she thought was an awful humid basement bedroom in her little Riften apartment turned out to be the perfect cheese storage room after some temperature controls. There are a few other pet peeves like excessive cold, as well as working in accounting and logistics.
8. Do they like being dragonborn? Or do they see it as a burden? Darra enjoys the bonuses (cool shouts, fun history, stream of high-value dragon parts for trading and alchemy) but wants none of the pain, prophecies, and doom. She can’t really imagine a long-term future and resists dealing with it, but she’ll come around and carry her burden eventually.
9. Favourite Skyrim faction?
The Bard's College and the College of Winterhold have the most amount of money to pay her with the least amount of potential jail time and hostility towards elves, so Darra likes working for them. Those, and the Greybeards. Also, at least one of them will help her unravel the mysteries of dragons and dragonborn powers (and pay her).
10. Any object they carry with high sentimental value? Teldryn has accepted he is never wearing his second scarf again. She wears her armor with pride and appreciation, namely, Glover Mallory’s refitted Blackguard armor and two sets of Master Destruction robes.
11. What about hobbies?
Darra has picked up and dropped many hobbies over the years. The main one that stuck is magic, but she also reads novels, arranges flowers (not expertly at all), collects liquor and cheese, goes fishing, and dances with revelers.
12. Favourite Skyrim city?
Riften, always. Messy but warm, kind of like her.
TES Domestic Headcannons
Ancano Ancano's demeanor doesn't really change in a domestic setting, he's still very uptight, serious and work driven, however he shows much more affection in a private setting. He'll wordlessly pull you into his lap while he's reading a report, or crawl into bed with you with it, lots of kisses to your forehead, shoulders, neck that sort of thing. His temper is also greatly improved, but not enough to leave a child in his care for too long.
Athis Athis is a very messy pup, and you will almost always be cleaning up after him. He shows lots of gratitude over it, though, and is very affectionate and attentive. He'll always do the heavy lifting, despite the fact you could bench-press him and always goes out with you if your business is in the city. He is absolutely going to cause trouble with a pup, should you decide to have one. There's so much flower, and it's everywhere! How?!
Brand-Shei Brand-Shei enjoys being the bread maker, but should you favor your adventuring you'll hear no complaints, so long as you're home within 3 days at least. He is the absolute best at balancing what he wants and what you want; if you want to go explore a cave near Riften, he'll go too but hang back in case you find anything that he can sell. If you're not adventuring than you can always help out at the stall, or take over when he's sick or needs a break. He's so nervous when children are brought up, but should you take the leap, he is the sweetest father, though he does spoil his child.
Cicero Cicero, as I'm sure you're aware, is a rare breed of man. He's always flip-flopping between whether he's capable and wanting to act like a complete child. This doesn't mean he won't spoil you rotten or won't do his end of the chores. Because he will, at the end of the day, you'll just hear him complain the whole time, but it's all playful. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT let him near children. Why? "What do you have there?" "A KNIFE!"
Clavicus Vile Clavicus has no domesticity, he's always in his plane of Oblivion, he's always yelling at Barbas, and he's always... Him. There's small, fleeting moments of affection, but not any more than that. A Daedra is a bad idea for a life partner.
Enthir Enthir is a college student, through and through. His room gets cleaned once a month, by him, since he doesn't want you to touch anything (more like find anything), he wakes up at 12:00pm, and he is always kind of groggy and slightly grumpy. He does find time for you, however, should you wish to be a study buddy, or spend the weekends with him. That's when he shows how much he appreciates you and your tolerating him. Not ready for kids! He's at that point where should a child attach themselves to his leg he will attempt to kick them off.
Erandur Erandur is the softest domestic partner you could ever ask for. Need firewood? He's on it. Groceries? Don't worry about it, he's got it. Want to go adventuring? He'll tag along, just to make sure you're safe. And when it's just the two of you at home, he's smothering you in affection. Says he's too old for children... He is. He acts more like a grandfather, always falling asleep with bab.
Faendal Faendal is a slightly possessive lover, though he'll always listen to you. He loves doing things with you. Hunting, firewood, grocerie shopping, adventuring, you name it, Faendal wants to do it with you. He's very immaculate about the interior of the house, and will almost always get to the chores before you. A very enthusiastic father, constantly tries to teach his child way too young how to use a weapon. "Faendal!" "What? They're 3, they can learn to use a bow, surely!" as said tot falls over  behind him because it's almost double their size.
Farkas Farkas is... He's a slob. He doesn't mean to be, he's just always over at Jorvaskr and doesn't really come home that often, and practically always needs a house maid of sorts; Vilkas is banned from his room because every time he sees how messy it is he practically fumes from the ears. Farkas is, however, probably the most doting lover, especially out of Jorvaskr. He just won't tolerate you venturing too far, at least without him. And should the Silver-Hands threaten again he won't hesitate to go full wolf on their ass. He is the most playful dad ever, though it looks rough, he's being very careful, lots of play fighting and wrestling, picking them up upside down on purpose.
Lucien Lachance Lucien is very distant, always busy with work. You'd have to really be willing to be put second to work, because you're not going to win against it. He's always busy, but he showers you with gifts and affection whenever he gets the chance, always telling you how much he apreciates your patience and devotion, completely spoiling you to help you last until the next time he does it again. Lucien is a very stern dad, but only because he cares. They WILL know how to protect themselves as soon as they're able, until then they go nowhere without mom or dad. Mostly dad, because even though mom is there, now he's worried about the both of you.
Malborn Malborn, depending on whether you were with him before or after the Thalmor Embassy, is either very angry or very frightened and paranoid. He just needs someone he can rely on and gauge whether things or ok or not. He frequently looks to you to ground him to reality, and is very needy in terms of affection and building up. Anything to do with outside is on you, and he strictly prohibits adventuring; what would he ever do without you? Oh gods he's far too nervous for children.
Marcurio Marcurio is a very patient lover, should you go adventuring and be longer than three days without him, he will worry, but he will stay put. When you come home, you're immediately smothered by hugs and kisses all over your face, he will tell you how much he missed you and how happy he is that you're home. He's a very independent man, so you won't have to worry about firewood or grocerie shopping, things like that, and he's a very capable cook. He's a very good dad, would actually prefer to adopt, he worries about the children on the street, and will probably come home with one himself.
Neloth Neloth... Is just the worst. I'm sorry, but it's true. He has zero capacity to think about anyone but himself, and most times if you pursue him for affection or compliments, you get a very grumpy Telvanni. However, does that stop him from coming to bed very late at night to pull you as physically close to him as possible? No, no it does not. He's very quiet and subtle with his affections, and the fact that he calls you his should speak volumes. Good lord no kids, do not. They will be ejected from the tower at the first accident.
Ondolemar Ondolemar surprises everyone with how affectionate and loving he can be, and he has everything under control when it comes to managing the firewood, groceries, hell he's even good with kids should you decide to adopt or have them (though he'd highly prefer if you gave him an heir, he would treat an adopted child no differently). Ondolemar has many things about him hidden away that only you get to see; and no one would believe you if you told them he fell asleep with your toddler in his arms on the couch while reading to them.
Ralis Sedarys Work, work, work. That's all he looks for, so should he actually take up a lover... They're going to be spoiled as hell, they are suddenly everything to him, and he will gladly put down his pickaxe to recieve affection, and will happily put it down again to give you affection, should you be in an ill mood or just seem like you could use it. Loves doing all the heavy lifting just to show off and have you proud of him, and he's even prouder should you challenge him or even show him up. In the end, you end up splitting all the chores in half between the two of you, even adventuring. Far too busy for kids, but he is very good with them! Maybe when he's ready to retire. Or even begins thinking about it.
Revyn Sadri Revyn is a very loving, we can take on the world so long as we have each other kind of lover, and he's very affectionate. He is fairly good with kids, and has zero problem with adopting. He can die a happy mer so long as he has you, a child, and the store. It's everything he's ever wanted in life.
Teldryn Sero Oh boy. He's usually out doing his work more than you, and is ecstatic to go adventuring with you. He enjoys taking care of you and treating you like royalty, so he'll insist on doing everything around the house, and he is fantastic with kids, especially bed time stories, although sometimes you may have to censor him when he gets too detailed. Other than that, he's 100 percent prepared to love, cherish and protect his family, even if it's just the two of you.
Vicente Valtieri Vicente is the last person you'd expect to be any variation of domestic, but you will very frequently catch him in a chair by the hearth reading a book or sorting contracts, and should you two actually have children, he will very quietly sneak into the nursery while babe and you are asleep, and he will cry. Not out of sadness, out of pure joy. You made this, he actually has a family! And Sithis have mercy on anyone who dares threaten it, because he won't.
Hello all, I am back with a short piece of writing which I made for my beautiful friend @sneaksandsweets which involves our favorite Dunmer, Teldryn and Neloth. They are her OC's (Dreki's) parents. Enjoy the sassy banter. <3
They had been over this several times before. Dreki’s medicine was supposed to be in reach at all times no matter what.
Who would have thought that someone so handsome could also be so horridly dull?
Neloth sighs as his slippers clack in short staccato notes across the hardened wooden floors of his home. Brilliant in construction—as with everything House Telvanni—, the strange mushroom abode thrives in the middle of the ashen wasteland he finds himself in. Everything down to the last detail has been tested over and over again meticulously to make sure it works perfectly—except apparently for his husband.
“Teldryn,” he raises his voice, but only slightly, with irritation as he holds a crying Dreki in his arms.
Slowly but steadily, her body has been filling with many angry, raised welts from some unidentifiable allergen. While this has happened before with a number of other substances—nuts being the most notable—the rate at which this new reaction is snaking up their adoptive daughter’s flesh is alarming. This coupled with manner in which she is wheezing—as if her lungs were straining to draw in breath—has Neloth almost in a panic.
Where is Teldryn?
His state of less than calm causes Neloth to quicken his pace, the time between the clacking of his slippers reduced to next to nothing as he enters the kitchen.
“What in Oblivion are you doing? Standing around with your—hair?” Neloths vaguely gestures to his husband in frustration. “Are you good for nothing else, or are you just a pretty face with good swordsmanship.”
Teldryn does not miss a beat. Having become accustomed to Neloth’s infamous tantrums and sharp tongue, he knows exactly how to respond, even if he is currently panicked himself. “Of which you seemed of have enjoyed immensely last night.”
While an excellent quip under any other circumstances, it does not even earn a derisive sniff from the Telvanni wizard. “You were supposed to be in charge of Dreki’s medications! Look at her! If she continues like this, she soon will not be able to breathe.”
“I am well aware of this, dear husband. However, it seems that there is no more. Instead of pointing fingers and blaming me, how about you use that brain of yours for something productive, hm?” Teldryn straightens his back as he levels his husband an unamused look. “I am doing all I can, but unfortunately I am not a master wizard unlike someone else in this room.”
“You aren’t?” Neloth feigns shock. “Ah, yes but if Dreki needs a sword, you’ll be the first one to come running, yeah? Fat load of good that will do her right now as—”
Suddenly, Dreki starts a worrying fit of coughs, effectively quieting both of the bickering Dunmer.
“You had better get started, Neloth.”
Point taken, the wizard reluctantly places an uncomfortable and squirming Dreki into Teldryn arms. “I see I have to be the one to do everything around here as per usual. While I am a master in many schools of magic, my pursuits do not typically fall into Restoration or Alchemy; however, I am sure I can turn up something.” He sniffs and turns to walk back towards his laboratory.
Once he is gone, Teldryn begins to bounce Dreki on his hip as he tries to comfort her as much as he can.
“Your dad really is something else, isn’t he?” He mutters under his breath. While he doesn’t really expect an answer from Dreki, it does elicit a small smile from her.
“I heard that.” Neloth calls out from somewhere deep in their home.
“Stop worrying about me and start with the magic, master wizard.”
Thank you so much @the-troll-of-the-bridge for tagging me. I love tag games! 💖💖
So I have to make myself and my OCs using this picrew: https://picrew.me/image_maker/197705
I hope the link works, I have no idea how to do the *this link* thingy sorry. Also, be warned: long post about my OCs ahead :)) you don't have to read it, but if you do, tell me what you think about them if you'd like to 😄
Tumblr media
This is me with a nice cup of coffee, because I like coffe. But enough about me I'm excited to talk about my OCs :))).
Tumblr media
This is Haela. She's also my profile pic, made with another picrew. She's a dunmer who loves to dual wield daggers. She was born in Raven Rock, but once she came of age, they sent her to Cyrodiil to study and to have a better life and a brighter future. But that life didn't suit her at all, so she became a mercenary. She ended up messing with the wrong people, so she had to flee Cyrodiil. That's when she tried to cross the border to Skyrim, and, well, we all know what happens next. She's not really the Dovakiin, she joined the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild. She's very sarcastic and cold, but a big softie on the inside. Her travel companions are Lucifer, Nebarra and Rumarin (she ends up unexpectedly falling for him and they get together and bring out the best in each other).
Tumblr media
This is my main girl Ravonna Winter-Born. She is the Dovakiin. She grew up in Morrowind, in the city of Blacklight (and, as Teldryn Sero would say, it was indeed spectacular). She is a Nord, but she was adopted by a dunmer who owns a tavern and who's also Teldryn's brother. She loves music and would often play the drum and sing with the bards that were regulars in the tavern. But she always looked up to Teldryn. How cool was it that he could summon a flame atronach?! She wanted to do that, so she joined the Mage's guild and became a pretty good mage. She specializes in conjuration and destruction. She didn't want to become a mercenary like Teldryn, because he was almost never home. She also didn't want her dad to worry too much about her. Her dad was pretty wealthy and very kind, so he would let beggars and homeless folks sleep in his tavern for free. Teldryn left for Skyrim and never returned. They all thought he was dead (then she's gonna have a really cute, heartfelt reunion when she goes to Solstheim after the cultists incident).
One day when she came home she found her father dead. He had been assasinated by the Dark Brotherhood, but who would want him dead and why? Filled with rage, she went on a quest to search and destroy the whole Dark Brotherhood. He had heared about it, and it's just not right that innocent people can just be assasinated like that. It's also cowardly in her eyes. If you have a problem with someone, why send someone else to deal with it? It's been years of traveling through Tamriel and she heared a little rumour about the Dark Brotherhood being in Skyrim. That's when she crossed the border and was caught by the imperials. Right after Helgen she and Hadvar split up and she ends up in Falkreath, desperate for some mead. There, she meets Lucien and OMG this is getting waaaay too long.
I'm so sorry for the long post. It's just that I've never gotten the chance to talk about my OCs and I love to do this and I love to write. I'm fairly new to this fandom, I got into Skyrim last September and I've had this tumblr for about a month. I might start posting about my OCs more, but I don't really know if anyone cares anyway :)))).
I have no idea who to tag, I haven't interacted with a lot of people on here, and I don't want to scare anyone with the long post :))) you don't have to read this. If you guys want to do this @otvlanga @nerevarbean @elder-scrolls-up-my-ass @luvsavos if you don't want to be tagged in tag games, I'm so sorry and please let me know. No hard feelings :))). Also if someone sees this and wants to do this, consider yourself tagged and let me know if you want me to tag you in stuff like this!
The real question, been dying to know, how's Dawnguard go down in your canon??
Still working through that dlc so I don't have the full plot of it completed and only know the main gist of the parts I haven't gotten to (JUST left the soul cairn), but so far:
Wren is the one who looks into the Dawnguard stuff because after the main game plot Dusk just doesn't want to do anything more like that if he doesn't have to--he's about 40, married, finally reunited with his kid (about college age) after getting got at the border, and needs to decompress for a hot minute. It seems more of Wren's wheelhouse anyway and he knows more about vampires (having been around longer and y'know, dated one for almost 10 years).
The first chunk of it where you join and find Serana and returning her to the castle is basically the same, Wren rejects the Gift because he likes being a werewolf and that's also religiously significant to him as a Hircine worshipper (also he likes the sun).
They briefly take a break from that and go into Blackreach to do those related quests and run into Kurk down there. He doesn't know anything about the prophecy or any of that jazz, he's just been spending the last 150 years vibing in dwemer ruins basically, but they catch up and tell him where he can find them and they can transcribe some of his studies into text that's comprehensible to other people (he self-developed something similar to braille for himself, Wren is the only other person who can read it, so it was a good time to get it down before one or both of them dies without doing that). It's not weird between them
Yadda yadda, you talk to serana, you talk to Isran, you get the moth priest and scrolls, into the cairn, you leave, not much changes there. Wren thinks the place is cool, though. Rest of the group besides him and Serana stay back (bc they just refused to go in in my game even though Teldryn followed me in a few times).
I think he'd like the vale though. Not a fan of the cold, but his robe is enchanted to keep him warm. Kurk might join to mediate with the Falmer.
For your followup ask, he doesn't really like Harkon--shitty dad thing really kills any attraction he would have. He's got weird bordering on abysmal taste for the most part, but if you're a shit father that's one of the biggest turnoffs he has. Also he's happily in a relationship by that point so it's not like he's Looking, even if the set up is less than mutually monogamous (they don't care)
