A few minutes passed in which he did not stop talking, then you began to feel all the accumulated fatigue, you ended up leaning on his lap to be able to rest, somehow his voice relaxed you so you fell asleep quickly.

I said it at the time and I'll say it again: SHIRATORIZAWA is my favorite Haikyuu!! team, and this was one of the stories I was most eager to recommend; not only because it was one of the most elaborate ones I read on the subject, but because it's a great slice of life that's worth reading, even if it's not finished, that deals -again- with the experiences of the fictional Shiratorizawa manager with the peculiar members of this team. In general, stories full of light humor, but that can also deal with more human/adolescent themes such as fear of the future and what we will be in it.

Anyway. A little gem that I always come back to and that can even be read as if it were an anthology related to each other (I think?).

(Jujutsu Kaisen) AO3

Apparently, while I was "away", this fanfic increased its number of chapters and seems to be about to end. But, since it is not yet, I will take advantage of it and recommend it to you here (in fact, I just noticed that the last publication date was in 2023, but, well, that should not discourage anyone either). Because, like everything I recommend to you, in general and in my eyes, it is more than worth it!

In this case, the story is presented as a story of love, violence and family found between the reader (male, in this case), a lover of fighting with good feelings (typical shonen protagonist, but with hidden depths and a traumatic past as the plot progresses) and the unfortunate Junpei Yoshino, while the parents of both have their own romance in the middle; which, inevitably, complicates and uncomplicates things at the same time.

It is… BRUTAL. I mean, when you start reading this story, you certainly don't know how much it will impact you and how well the author will treat the themes and her characters (within the context she offers us). Especially Junpei, who always seemed like an interesting character to me and…, for those who were left with a bitter taste with his ending in the original story, this fanfic could be the answer!

However, keep in mind that it deals with topics, perhaps taboo, perhaps controversial, perhaps tricky, depending on the reader's sensitivity (which is excessively high lately xD) and there is some sexual scene involved (especially when the healthy relationship between the reader and Junpei inevitably turns into these areas), so, unlike me at the time, I would tell you to read the story tags to get an idea of ​​what you will read… or not.

Ok, maybe I'm taking a risk here, but it won me over after just one chapter and I think it deserves to be included in this post. Also because it's rare to find fanfics that include or are, directly, horror (my favorite genre) and that, in addition, start in such a potential way as this one (that it catches your attention and is good, let's say).

The plot introduces us to the new manager of her high school's football team, where weirdos seem to abound, and the tension and bad vibes (or feelings) are present almost at all times! Even if you can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong, you know something's wrong, the protagonist's friend knows something's wrong (and her last sentence is quite revealing (although also prejudiced)… And this is just the first step of what seems to be one of the best horror fanfics that could be born around here. Well, as I said, I can't say much because only the first chapter is available… But I think it was worth including it for the reasons already mentioned.

1/15 (in principle! The truth is that it's the one I hope continues the most of all, haha).

PS: I don't know why the suggestiveness of certain Shirley Jackson stories, mixed with the typical j-horror, came to my mind… So, there you have it! If you like both things, I think you'll appreciate it even more.

Can I please get two beers.” As he handed you the beers you paid leaving a tip for his help.

“Hey!” you heard from behind seeing the same guy as before. Ignoring him you continued forward trying to lose him in the crowd. Once you see Kuroo you started to walk faster not wanting to be alone with the creep if he catches up with you. “Hey I am talking to you.” He yelled gaining speed.

“Please pretend to be my boyfriend.” You quietly said in your best friends ear as you approach him from the side. Looking back if the asshole is still following you and it looks like he is. “Okay. What’s wrong?” he asked seeing the worried look on your face which caused him to pull you closer towards his chest while wrapping his arms around your waist as he sees a guy approaching you. “Hey I am busy talking to you.” He said reaching a hand forward to grab your arm.

“Listen how my times do I have to tell you I have a boyfriend. Leave me the fuck alone before I have to call for security to escort you out of here.” You said glaring at the creep and Tetsurou wrapped his arms tighter around your waist. “Listen man leave her alone we are here on date okay we don’t want to be disturbed. I bet she asked nicely the first time and now you are just being a creep.” Kuroo said glaring at the man in front of you.

“Whatever you stuck up bitch. You aren’t even that pretty. I could do so much better.” The asshole said glaring at you both and before he could move further that two step Kuroo was up gently pushing you to the side and tapping the jerk on the shoulder. As he turned he was met with a fist right to the nose. “What the fuck man.” He yelled as Tetsurou was about to hit him again you pulled his arm back. “He’s not worth it Tetsu. Leave him so that security can deal with his sorry ass.” As you finished talking a crowd started to form around you guys.

Just as you and Kuroo were about to walk away security approached you along with the bartender from before. Now only seeing his nametag as ‘Tendou.’ “Please escort this creep out guys.” He said pointing at the man bleeding. “Hey I was attacked. Why am I being thrown out?” he yelled as the bouncers dragged him towards the door; with the creep yelling that he will sue this place while holding his nose.

“So sorry ma’am, sir. I watched ready with security when I saw him following you. I hope you broke the asshole’s nose.” Tendou cackled causing you to giggle into Kuroo’s side and he pulled you further into him. “He was going to have his ass handed to him one of these lovely nights and I am so glad it was on my shift. Here are two beers on the house.” He said handing you and Kuroo a bottle.

“Thanks man. Sorry for the inconvenience caused but that asshole touched he shouldn’t have.” Tetsurou said causing butterflies to fill your stomach at the look of protectiveness on his face. “Yeah man I couldn’t agree more he shouldn’t touch another man’s girl.” Tendou nodded at bouncer who beckoned him over. “Okay well guys enjoy the rest of the night. Bye, bye.” He waved as he walked towards the bar counter.

“I am…” you cut off Kuroo wrapping your arms around his neck pulling him towards you. Pressing your lips to his before you lose the confidence to kiss him. He melted into the kiss pulling you into him smiling into the kiss. Causing you to smile along with him and as your mouth open he swiped his tongue over your bottom lip begging for entrance. And last but not the least thank you for being such a good kisser.” You said with a smile causing the man in front of you to laugh pulling you in a bone crushing hug. “I love you so much.” “I love you too.” He said with a smile as he pulled you back for another kiss. This time he pulled you onto his lap. “You want to get out of here?” he questions and you just nodded.

“Morning gorgeous.” Kuroo whispered the following morning as he see you starting to stir. “Morning handsome.” You lazily smiled up at the man who had spent a few hours pleasuring your body and soul until early this morning. “Do you want something to eat?” you questioned with a smiling starting to get up as Kuroo whined, reaching out to pull you back into bed making you bounce on his mattress. “I can think of one thing I would like to eat.” He whispered into your ear. “Kuroo Tetsurou!” you exclaimed shocked as he giggled.

This is officially my most popular prompt, and I have no problem with that.

If someone had told Tendou that his life would become this combination of cliches, he'd have had a big ol' laugh, and carried on anyway.

He's never been considered much of a catch in life, Shiratorizawa was the first place he really belonged, but with a nickname like "the guess monster", he's remained unapproachable, even to his teammates. Ushijima's the only one who really didn't give a crap until he met (Y/N) in the second year.

She's not exactly of imposing stature, but will happily blend into a crowd if she wants to, which is probably how she avoided Tendou's notice for so long. That changed the day the team was out doing roadwork, and he ran clean into her while goofing around with Eita.

So much smaller than him, she damn near went flying before swiftly getting her feet back under her and pulling a face at him.

'Try lookin' down at us little people every once in a while, would ya?!'

Those may as well have been his soulmate's first words, because he could do nothing but stare, gape even, at this little firecracker, unintimidated by his size or his reputation, holding her ground as was her right.

He never meant for it to be anything but a Tendou and (Y/N) thing, he's so crestfallen that he doesn't notice her awkwardly dodging the others and practically scurrying back to him.
