Okay, so liveblogging plan. Finish up the last 3 eps of OPLA tomorrow (or today, since it’s Sunday) and then Monday liveblog the last two episodes of The Uncanny Counter 2.

And then work on my multichapter fics while also finishing up the last prompt and maybe working on two new K&H fics. While also waiting to hear back from my potential job interviews...as well as having to get my car checked out on Wednesday...oo next week is gonna be busy

#death note #light yagami #and technically if but only a hand:#l lawliet #lawlight #dnkinktober #my art #choking #<-tagging just in case even though he’s technically just holding his face #so yeah no normal colors for me today i’m in the mood for bright things #i should probably tag this as #bright colors #bc i just looked at it w true-tone and it is Bright #since i always seem to do so on artworks i shall tell you about my day #uhhhh nothing much happened but i did plan out a tentative schedule for the spring summer and fall semesters #according to my plan i will be able to graduate at the end of next fall (yay)#and then i will have to figure out where i want to do my masters (not yay)#hmmm other than that i skipped class bc it was on a topic i was going to low-key freak out about and did schoolwork instead #and now i'm tired bc i've gotten ~7 hours of sleep in total these last few nights bc my brain's been v panicky which is stupid but whatever #and it's been so cold. so so cold. i hate the cold #if i have to wake up and get out of bed and i start trembling and shivering i will be v upset the weather should accommodate my tastes imo #but i do get up before sunrise (booo) so i'm like really tired and miserable so it's probably not that bad but i'm a complainer #and complaining is good for u i promise. it's okay to curse the weather for wronging you and being upset that you have too much to do #back to the artwork i didn't know how to show brat(taming) visually but i wanted to do either hair-pulling of some type #like hair pulled neck exposed shirt unbuttoned sexy style w light smirking (<-will still do this btw just for something else)#but to get inspo i went to the first fic that popped up when i searched brat taming and they had someone grab someone's face #and tell them they were a very bad girl or whatever and i was like. hey light yagami is also a very bad girl so this works

Finished a personal comic I scripted a little while ago. Mostly a ramble with imagery - but probably the most personal thing I've posted in years?

I feel the internet has become more and more hostile and in turn I've become more reserved, but I think there's value in earnestness and valuable art comes from vulnerability. (And connection only happens if you open up... :<)

I suppose if it resonates with even one person it's worth something. Shout out to other perhaps lost 20-somethings (or any age, tbh)

Biggest difference at the new job (besides The Everything) is being treated like an adult and a professional (despite being contract), rather than a kid who just happens to be computer literate unlike the rest of the staff, so I'm kept around for that. It's really nice? To be treated as an equal and intelligent and a professional worthy of my title, even tho yes I'm still young and new and learning, I have responsibility and autonomy and am in many ways my own manager, and I get to make decisions. It's scary and new and things are expected of me way more, but that's also exciting? Even as it's real stressful? Idk I'm still settling in, but after my first full week I'm??? I think this is going to be really good for me, personally and professionally

#i am still very nervous and scared and i felt like crying a bunch this week #and i have so many responsibilities and have to schedule so many meetings #and ask so many questions that make me feel really stupid #but im treated like an adult! a real professional! despite my youth and relative inexperience #i got the fancy job title. i have the academic qualifications. im. just? really happy?#it feels like my years of slogging thru just trying to survive lacking any clear direction #have landed me finally somewhere i can thrive. even if its just temporary #its too early for final judgements #but im tentatively....hopeful??? even tho I'm scared abt the newness. it's stuff i can handle (probably). and i KNOW im smart and capable.

Yep, that's TWELVE chapters coming out for the folks on Patreon and a solid NINE coming out for those who aren't on Patreon!

You'll notice that there is a two week hiatus on Underline the Black, where I can focus on launching Underline the Blue and Underline the Red properly for folks who are interested in the side pairings.

(It's also to help me keep a bit of a buffer between myself and the later chapters of Underline the Black, March is a horrible month for medical appointments).

Most chapters go up between 6-7pm GMT+8 (or the time that you’re already used to me putting chapters up, lol). For those who are anxious to know when chapters are updating, hopefully this helps!

got like 10 hours of crying out of my system and ran a potential plan by my dad that would enable me to not have to live with my mom while i'm in grad school, hypothetically speaking, so i'd say Net Positive!

#musings #he did say yes to the potential plan but i am feeling jittery #bc my dad is king of ''the future is unknowable'' & has been saying that for like two years now #so uh. we shall see?#but an immediate yes without caveats to a proposed plan that i thought a lot about is a good sign i think!#and i do also kind of want to throw up bc today was horrible lmao #BUT. things look less dire (tentatively)#+ it pays to be super studious and insane and organized and have your dad see that for multiple years #and graduate with honors as scheduled & be the first to do that in your immediate family #lots of rambling!!! i think within my situation That Is Understandable
