Dynamo is an undead cyborg tv head who used to be a tv personality in the 70s in the real world until a stunt accident (that was his fault) killed him live on stage in 1979. Through some variety of shenanigans, his wife Jenny brought him back from the dead and he ended up in the wondrous world of Terraria (2011) in some manner or another, being an eccentric freak with little self preservation and missing his wife a lot

Crow is a Totally Regular Human British Man, field biologist, and loving husband and father who got sent to the wondeous world of Terraria (2011) by the SCP-like company he works for called OMEGA Labs for research purposes, until he is fucked over in at least one of a few ways by his evil evil evil boss. His time is spent missing his husband and daughter and being the opposite kind of freak: anxious and neurotic, but at the same time peppy and friendly, and with no gun safety training. He uses mostly ranged weapons

Their terrarian paths dont canonically cross paths that much in that many timelines ive put them in but i like thinking abt them interacting. Theyre like, in the same "wave 2" category of my terrarian ocs in my mind so they exist close to each other

I said this in a tag on a different post but "dynacrow" isnt a ship name its just an easier way to refer to them when i need to refer to them both, and it sounds kinda neat too

Undead zombified tv headed cyborg, former tv personality in the 70s, current haunted bisexual who, depending on what timelime i put him in, is either having fun time adventures in Terraria (2011), being Really haunted and trying to find his wife, or has a literal demon inside him. Usually he's in some combo of 2 or more of the above Technically age 33, but like, 33 when he died in 1979 and doesn't know society has progressed since then and still walks and talks like a 70s tv host. If that's appealing

would probably go for a mix of ranged and melee, but leaning more on melee,

explores up to the crimson/corruption cause he wants to go explore it with everyone, but after they explore it he continues on exploring till the ocean,

usually "uhm.. actually"-ies while playing whenever someone gets something wrong about the game,

first one to traveling merchant and says what he has to others,

started building a typical hotel (like the one stampy made) but had to tear it down later in the game cause of a mix of npc happiness and jade telling him that she wants to make a house for the npc's cause the one john made was "ugly",

whenever everybody else is busy and can't play, john usually is the one to explore the world further and gets new items for everyone,

usually only crafts for himself but had to craft something for dave once cause he got sick and he needed something asap,

usually the one with the highest defense near endgame, but not the highest attack dmg.

Dave

the most clueless when starting out but gets used to the controls,

strictly melee, started out using swords but in the middle of the game he realized that there were yoyo's in the game so he started using yoyo's aswell as swords,but mostly yoyo's,

has a secret area/room where he made dicks with virtually every block in the game,

unintentionally beatboxes while fighting bosses,

accidentally summoned a lot of bosses during the playthrough,

when the cyborg moved in and he began selling the drones, he spent the following 2-3 days making a huge ass drone racing area, only stopping when the group needed to go defeat a boss, where he and the rest of the kids would race against him, he has won almost every single time but still can't seem to consistently win against rose,

everytime the traveling merchant has nothing of value he would send them to a "drowning chamber" cause he fought it would be funny, at the end of the playthrough he had roughly 25 peddlers hats.

Rose

started off summoner class, but slowly transitioned to ranged class

25-ish minutes before each session she would read the wiki for any items she was interested in,

when someone is, in her eyes, behind progression she would ominously send the ingredients to them but not tell them what it makes,

she was the fastest to get all the achievements,

rose would go into the night doing the anglers quests, and in general fishing,

aswell as being the first to get all the achievements, she was also the first one to get the terraspark boots, cell phone, zenith (she made the zenith for john as a gift) and the ankh shield,

in her free time, she also plays calamity with kanaya and has made multiple attempts at making a terraria mod, but never went through with it.

Jade

she started off as almost every class, she stuck with mage

isn't really the one to explore, but to build incredible and beautiful builds

she takes serious pride in making houses for npc's eith help from john to tell her where to make houses

she also experiments with dye's and accessorizing her avatar with vanities

John made such an unorganized mess with where he put stuff and not labeling the chests that she spent around an hour grabbing everything in every chest and organized it perfectly, john was mad for like a second but quickly apologized when he saw how effective everything was

when she realized that you could buy pets from the zoologist (especially dogs) she waster her entire supply of coins to buy each npc a pet except the angler cause she thinks he is mean

Rose gifted her a bunny mount (the one you get after doing 5 angler quests) she was ecstatic

Does yall give your npcs names? I personally name my npcs after my mobile play-through names since i got attached and it was my first platform

Guide: Brett ( I have the BIGGEST soft spot for any guide with this name and i actually try to get a guide with this name when i enter hardmode)

Here's an OC redraw/redesign I did quite recently, and I feel quite proud of it.

Name: Cerana Vesp "Model X-007: Burner Wasp" was a code title given to her after being turned into a cyborg prototype... I'd drop a lore bomb here, however, it'd be a tad extensive.

All that you need to know is that she has the most (currently) in-brain lore and story within my anthology, and that she is inspired after E-102 Gamma from Sonic Adventure, I even associate her with Gamma's song. Oh, and design-wise, I based her off of Hornet Man from MegaMan 9, Blast Hornet from MegaMan X3 and a bit of Terraria's Queen Bee.

Terraria Optimal NPC Setup and Happiness Housing 1.4

Below I will provide an explanation for in a quick description why I have located who I have collectively in the identical household. Updated on 10.15.2022 Terraria NPC Happiness If you already know what happiness is and the way it outcomes the NPC, sense free to skip this part. Terraria Optimal NPC Setup and Happiness Housing Description Forest - Guide + Merchant - Near/in your foremost base inside the forest - Zoologist + Golfer - Anywhere at the least 25 blocks faraway from the Guide and Merchant so that you do not get terrible happiness Snow Prior to shifting the Tax Collector (or Santa) you will need to transport Mechanic and Cyborg to the snow biome and buy the pylon. - Santa - Likes the snow but hates Tax Collector so make sure he's far sufficient away - Tax Collector + Any NPC Pet - Likes the snow, I'm now not sure if happiness impacts how much/rapid he makes money needs testing but will maximum probable flow him as soon as I get Santa. Need 2 NPCs to use the Pylon and pets remember as an NPC to use Pylons. Desert - Steampunk + Cyborg - Best charges for Steampunk, she loves Cyborg and Desert and Cyborg likes Steampunk - Gun Dealer + Nurse - Getting satisfactory charge from Gun Dealer Jungle - Witch Doctor + Dryad - They just like the jungle and each different - Painter + Clothier - Painter likes the jungle and wished a spot to put the Clothier (I do not value him very excessive if you can't tell he is free to roam) Ocean - Pirate + Angler - Best fees for Pirate for buying gadgets to reinforce your defenses for invasions - Stylist + Dye Trader - Best charges for Stylist, she loves the Dye Trader and Ocean Mushroom Surface - Truffle + Any NPC Pet - Truffle will spawn on Mushroom surface, however you will want to create it manually first while in hardmode. Need 2 NPCs to use the Pylon and pets matter as an NPC to use Pylons. You will need to move any other NPC (Dryad for example) with Truffle to shop for the Pylon first then you may circulate the Dryad out and move the Pet in Hallow - Wizard + Party Girl - They both like Hallow and each other Underground - Demolitionist + Tavernkeep - Love each other and likes underground, desirable to have the pylon right here for gem tree farm - Goblin Tinkerer + Mechanic - Best charges for reforging with the Goblin Tinkerer Terraria Traveling and Skeleton Merchants Traveling Merchant His costs are maximum the the closer he's to the initial spawn. The further away he's from the initial spawn the decrease his prices are. He has a risk to randomly spawn every day next to 2 NPC's. So make certain to have city in Ocean biome and what ever biome is next in your dungeon and wish he spawns there for the lowest fees. Skeleton Merchant His prices and item he sells are suffering from the phase of moon which I will display the charge exchange below. During the sunlight hours his expenses will pass up 10% and all through night time time there may be no effect to prices. Note that he spawns randomly underground and could despawn as soon as he's off.

Today's Terraria NPC is the cyborg! Matt Finnish was a soldier, grievously injured in battle and offered the chance to be rebuilt by a robotics corporation into a living weapon. Then he ditched them and had a back-alley roboticist hack out any safeguards or controls. Now on the road with an unstoppable robot body (and the ability to overclock it), you might expect he'd have some issues relating to his 'loss of humanity', but... He has no issues from this whatsoever. He has no tin-man syndrome. He has zero angst, to an almost comical degree.

He's a slick flirt who's metal form gives him incredible confidence and a laid back personality. While he lacks any distinct purpose on the Hyperlight Alice, he's friendly, his combat and tech knowledge is useful, and the ships mechanically inclined love him, because he openly allows himself to be tinkered on, upgraded, and modded to their hearts content. He has so many railguns installed in him, and he needs more.
