#they should invent a grad school thats not fucking insane #i'm hanging in there but im the most unwell i've been in AWhile #this week was just horrible #there was already the freezer food incident but it also started off with a very severe pain episode thats putting me in constant woe #even mundane motion has been agonizing which is McAwesome bc we had a lab inspection which involved moving hundreds of pounds of equipment #during which we found a blackwidow and rats which we had to deal with and was a whole thing psychologically on top of the physical toll #the new class fiasco is still popping off and i had to respond to at this point over 400 emails in the fleeting moments outside of lab #AND A STUDENT TRIED TO FINANCIALLY BRIBE THEIR WAY INTO THE CLASS ? ?? ?? ?????#then the instructor wanted to use me as a guinea pig and i had to test new circuit boards but I wasnt given any time to do so properly #i had to test them plus get them operational and deal with my incoming students all in a frantic 10 minute window #im in charge of running our meetings too but the instructor was interrupting and having side conversations that made it really hard-#to train the other people on the new equipment in a smooth manner #which meant that a bunch of people had to keep me after to ask questions which made me late for my drs appointment #where i found out i cant get the new covid vaccine bc my heart and blood levels arnt stable enough #and joanns lost an expensive+critical fabric order of mine+i had to give a big presentation this week on my research that was stressful #and my inbox is still blowing up from being needed all over the place between teaching lab and classes and yall i am. so so tired.#im in so much pain and so stressed out #debating the ethics of turning into a pile of lint to escape my responsibilities and mortal frame

side note about kiwi, the vet office i eventually found took such amazing care of her. about 2 years ago they saved her life when no one else would, the main surgeon significantly lowered the prices of the surgeries by taking a huge cut out of his own pay, the people at the front desk always remembered her and were so sweet, and today they were super compassionate and gentle with her and didn't charge anything at all for the visit/euthanasia. it's so special to find a vet that cares that much and i think i need to get them a card or something

#i'd had such bad experiences before this one #a lot of offices that were super cold and detached and only cared about inflating the bill as much as possible and sending us on our way #not even doing basic tests or even really closely inspecting her or offering solutions

WHO is fucking making accounts for these obscureass websites like Toppr and Numerade so that they're the first or second results on a google search?? can we please just fucking use quora or stackoverflow or reddit or literally a shitty wordpress blog with suspicious pdf links. Don't wanna be sick any more please 🤒

Especially since I got a notice today that they're doing an apartment inspection next week so now instead of just resting I gotta clean my whole place this weekend and hide all of my weed stuff and some of my sex stuff and rearrange a bunch of things so that the inspector can easily access the water heater and other appliances.

#feel like crap #I've taken multiple tests and it's not covid but it's something else nasty #the question is did I get it from the guy at work who came in multiple days hacking and coughing or from dancing at the goth club #or just a combination of things #chest hurty #stressing on this impending inspection now #i wanna make myself nice baked max n cheese tomorrow and i pray i have the energy

check engine light came on yesterday and i brought it into an auto shop… they're telling me the Mass Air Flow Sensor is damaged and has to be replaced 💀 and quick reading suggests that the MAF does not wear down normally. and the pictures that the auto shop gave me showed that the wires to the MAF were damaged >:(

i'm good to pay it because i've been putting extra $ into my car budget just in case something like this came up, but wtf did my car's last owner DO to this car lmao

#i'm so tempted to buy a New car once i eventually need to change up from this one but i know that's financially dumb #like it loses so much initial value just from the initial year of use #real talk i'm probably just going to be a lot more careful and do more research / inspection when i test drive cars
