Knockout VS Smokescreen

I wanted to draw a scene like Fast & Furious X3 TOKYO DRIFT🏙️

It seems that there was a car audition at TOKYO DRIFT, but both knockouts and smoke screens want to stand out, so I want you to go to audition for a car movie and meet.

About the Smokescreen, Bumblebee will pick him up, but it would be interesting if Bumblebee was selected as the main character. 🐝G1 also had such a story.

I would say G1 Rumble and Frenzy - they keep beefing with other members and are the primary cause of drama, made even worse when Skywarp sends them anon hate bc the cassette twins will send him death threats once they figure out who the anon is (aka Skywarp forgets he's off anon). Their writing leaves much to be desired tho

TFP Smokescreen doesn't write but he's a big reader/enjoyer (no matter the quality)

I was never a Smokescreen hater. In fact, he became my fav character after a TFP rewatch. Plus, I always viewed his immaturity as a sign that he likely grew up an orphan without a solid adult parental figure to properly support his upbringing. And honestly? I like that because it adds another layer to his character. I'm a sucker for characters who have every right to be bitter but aren't.

It's also why I rlly liked this post of yours. As someone who's recently watched Arcane, I couldn't help but see a bit of Vi & Powder in Chromia & Smokescreen. Plus, it makes Arcee being so harsh with him even more heartbreaking in hindsight because what if deep down, Smokescreen craved her approval the same way he wanted to make Chromia proud? In that moment, did her plating turn the same shade of blue as Chromia's? No wonder he left the base afterwards, wouldn't be surprised if he did it to have a breakdown, had Soundwave no interfered.

Also, Smokescreen coming from the Mithril Sea makes him parallel & contrast MEGATRON. Like him, he's from the bottom of the barrel with hopes & dreams of a better world. But rather than spearhead said change, he wants to actively support it.

All in all, love you & @kzele's TFP content. 100/10 <33.

Thanks for returning to my inbox, and I'm glad to hear your view on Smokescreen. He definitely doesn't deserve the hate he gets, and I 100% agree with your sentiment on his upbringing. Before I started returning to my headcanon/AU backstory for him, there was a reason I imagined him as not having a steady/the best caretaker. Otherwise, he'd have had been a little less eager-beaver. I, too, love characters who go through hell but come out of it with a smile on their face. It's far more inspiring than jaded characters, though they are just as inspiring in many cases.

As someone who is interested in Arcane/League of Legends (and trying to make an AU for it, but that's a separate ball of wax), that's a high compliment, so thank you. That is, as @kzele said, something about how Smokescreen's interactions with Arcee add some new dimensions. Chromia is a tough femme who hands out pain twice as hard as she receives, yet still is attentive to her little brother and protective of him. On the surface level, Arcee has many similarities to her, albeit she's much more fragile than Chromia in a fight. And yet, Arcee brushes him off so much, and she's so outwardly similar to his sister, and he doesn't know if Chromia survived the Exodus, so when she gets increasingly scathing, it half feels like his sister's ghost is telling him off for his behavior in the War and like her approval was misplaced. And in his inner agony, he runs off not just because he's feeling like a failure, but Smokescreen can't let himself be seen by Optimus or any of the others breaking down like a child.

(Then Soundwave unintentionally puts the kibosh on that, but yay?)

You know, it's funny. I've been toying with the idea that Smokescreen gets "his own Megatron" for my AU (which I'm currently keeping if only because it'd actually have plot relevance for a story idea I have), and yet, this whole time I had the real essence of that idea. Giving him a similar background to Megatron without the madness? I feel stupid for not seeing it sooner. Thank you for that, this helps me greatly!

I've been thinking about how Smokescreen wasn't there for half of TFP and

not posting it anywhere on my public accs but been having a thing with OC x Smokescreen, i thought, you'd appreciate a half-naked (it's very hot in there! totally relevant for the plot!) mechanic patching up a big robot all while the big robot is getting bricked up all of a sudden (he finally realized humans are attractive)
