ANYWAYS- ⚡️-Have you ever spontaneously added something to your story that you wouldn't have added normally? If so, what made you do it?

First question, all the fucking time- half of my stories have random shit that I improvised on the spot. The cafe?? one of the main settings now?? Made on a whim because the Leslie chapter felt too short.

I think the most startling one is (btw im dyslexic) and had convinced myself it was Alan Draper and not Alvin Draper, so I now have a whole conveluted reason of WHY I put the wrong fucking name in that actually led me to a huge plot point coming into play and shifted my entire plan for the ending of the fic. So yeah :)

☀️-What's your favorite part of your WIP?

To write? Tims inner monologuing & Oneliner gags for each of the kiddos

To read? Stephs chapter hands down. I was laughing at my own shit, that and her perspective is just a blast. (and im bias)

God evil Tim would be AMAZING- especially in like DSB au like a Tim who reached his breaking point before dying and got a chance of a do-over but decided to be petty?? I love.

Also i'm just a complete sucker for evil characters you root for

Timothy would be the guy who knows exactly what you wanna hear, hell play nice and stroke your ego in every way to get what he wants and then distance himself the moment you arent of use. Most people attribute it to they "grew apart" but if you try and talk about the drifing best believe your life will be in shambels when the whole society turns against you for what you did to poor old drake.

He's untouchable and skirts the line of legality in a way that would drive the bats insane, Damien would hold a little respect if he wasn't so unnerved by being at the mercy of Drakes moods for his standing.

But seriously- time to add this to my hoard collection of other lovely pieces i'm thrilled!!

I saw it in your tag game post that you're also fond of the Apollo-Heracles conflict 👀 for a myth that appears in only a couple of sources, it sure has a lot of presence in the vase paintings (no seriously, everytime I think I've seen the last of it, I find ten more)

SO do you have any favorites among the paintings that represent this story??

I also think it's extremely interesting that it's a story so popularly portrayed by vase paintings and in such a variety of ways!! It's certainly one of the stories that gets left out of written compilation of Heracles' legend a bit (which is a shame, I think it's a fantastic story) but Apollo had a very peculiar relationship with Heracles in general that I just kind of find amazing (and very, very funny).

Apollo is not a god with any legitimate grudge against Heracles, but he does argue with the mortal a bit like he argues with his favourite brothers 😂Part of why I love the story of Apollo and Heracles fighting over the tripod so much is that it is such a little brother thing for Heracles to be upset with the proclamation his elder brother has given him and so, he throws a great fit, taking up the chair and declaring that he'll just give himself a better prophecy! And Apollo, instead of being a marginally professional big brother, decides to fight him for it until their father has to break up their cat-fight. Like was that not just the plot of the Homeric Hymn to Hermes? Is this not exactly how Apollo treated Hermes when he was a child and now those two are inseparable? 💀

Because of this, my favourite vase paintings tend to be the ones that highlight the personal squabbling between Apollo and Heracles the most. There are some very elaborate ones that have the full host of them - Athena, Heracles, Apollo, Artemis, usually a dog and a doe, I've even seen a couple that had birds and plants etched on them, but the simplest ones that show Heracles about to bonk Apollo with his club out of frustration or depict Heracles nyooming away from Apollo while Apollo (presumably) yells curses about how he's going to fling Heracles head first into Tartarus for daring to take his things? Yeah, those are the premium big brother/little brother things I'm looking for.

i hateeee jokes about arab parents only wanting sons and not wanting daughters because 1- when it's like that, that's an awful thing and not something to be joked about and 2- it spits on the face of every arab parent who consistently has to put their middle finger up to the world and say fuck you my daughter is my greatest treasure and i'd rather have her than a thousand sons and i won't hear a word against her!! because in my experience these are the most loving parents to be found in the whole wide world
