So I think that Bill and Bev would be dating when Bill comes out as trans and he'd be worried she was going to leave him but nope! Bev just loves Bill, not his gender.

heyheyheyyyy!!! Youve talked abt Waterparks fondly before but i literally know NOTHING abt them like genre members etc, im sitting cross legged on the floor listening to u explain this rn. and recs maybe 👀?

OH MY GOD THANK YOU. ALRIGHT, SO -

Waterparks is a weird little pop rock pop punk emo band type thing, hard to really narrow them down? Sometimes they lean more pop [funeral gray, 2 best friends, etc] BUT they can also lean REALLY HEAVY into the other stuff [REAL SUPER DARK, RITUAL, etc]

They consist of three dudes, Awsten, Otto, and Geoff!! Awsten as the lead singer and many different instruments, Geoff does some epic guitar moves and awesome backing vocals and such, Otto does the literally best drums EVER and some backing vocals!!!

Awsten changes his hair color based on albums or general vibes of their content, CURRENTLY we are in a red hair era for their latest album INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY which is absolutely one of their absolute best!! My personal favorite is A Night Out On Earth, or RITUAL !! ❤️

Geoff has a twitch channel, it's super fun and chill and he is genuinely so awesome and sweet. UnderscoreGeoff, I think it's called! Such good hang out vibes!

Otto is a serial killer but don't mind that.

Awsten has synesthesia which I believe is why everything is super related to colors, and why the albums and songs have very specific colors associated with them!

Personally I HIGHLY recommend the album Greatest Hits, but FANDOM was probably their most popular? Entertainment is also super super good,,,,,

Also the song Dizzy comes to mind because of your username lmao, I think I've said this before oops.....

It genuinely has to be one of my favourite shows of all time. I've always been into horror type stuff (and not to spoil it because this is the one show I will NEVER spoil, but specifically the focus of the series) but also deep, mind bending questions about morality, and humanity, and death, so this show hit HARD for me. I know the monologues can be a lot for some people but as a theatre kid... Kinda loved them.

All of the acting in this show is SO GOOD, and although I don't want to be like everybody else on this website when talking about Midnight Mass and discuss Hamish Linklater again, I'm going to discuss Hamish Linklater again because HIS PERFORMANCE??? IMMACULATE!!! I am BEGGING for him to do another Mike Flanagan project because him player Father Paul was one of the main reasons I rewatched the show. Just to see him again. Kind of geeked out a bit as an aspiring actor because HE'S SO GOOD!!!

I could ramble on about this forever, but I just wanna say THE SOUNDTRACK??? ESPECIALLY THE SONG RIGHT BEFORE EVERYTHING HAPPENS IN THE FINALE, THAT SCENE IS SO BLOOD CHILLING AND PAINFUL TO WATCH IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GONNA GO DOWN BUT IT'S SO GOOD. The finale in general is so hard to watch but in the BEST way because the show really makes you care about everyone and... I don't want to spoil anything so I'll stop.

Anyway go watch Midnight Mass, it's silly (devestating)

fic called “hurting alone together” (<- sorry if this is hard but excited to see what you do with it!!)

i had 3 ideas come to me at once so here goes

1. will and abigail hang out. its the most awkward thing either of them have ever experienced. at the end of the interaction will is ready to become a salmon and jump into the lake forever in shame at being unable to form a connection with abigail. he drops her off a bit away from the door of the hospital bc she wants to walk on her own a bit (yea its against the rules but will doesnt care). instead she tells him to park his car and walk with her. he does. they dont speak, but just as the hospital enters their sight, she hugs him so so tight for only a second before clearing her throat and walking back alone

2. freddie describes abigail and her father’s relationship this way “they were hurting alone, just together”. Lots of layers to this one. It’s a great book blurb because it puts emotional distance between abigail and her father, but it makes abigail furious to hear and she can’t figure out why. later she realizes that its because her entire existence was so that garrett jacob would never be hurting alone. they always hurt together, and that hurt defined her as immutably as her eye color and blood type. she refuses to believe that her suffering was in vain, that he was alone despite all her sacrifices. but she’s also terrified; she’s never had to hurt alone before, because her dad was always with her. He often made the pain worse, or warped it into something twisted, but at least he was there. Now who does she have?

3. ok ending on a sweet one. beverly invites will to hang out at her place for a chill night of drinking and watching movies. will doesnt reveal much about himself during this hangout, and he doesn’t have to. Beverly tells him all about herself, every funny story and interesting event he can think of. It puts him at ease. He feels connection, despite his lack of reciprocity. As the night winds down, Beverly muses “We spend our lives hurting alone until we can find someone who we can be hurt with, together.”
