Found the old Twister AU I was going to write at one point!

Thunder rolled in the distance. A quick breeze rushed against Pidge’s back, a nice reprieve from the heat and humidity for the back of her bare neck. It rustled through her loose button up shirt and her hair, making her bangs flop across her face and obstructing her sight.

Pidge grunted in annoyance. She held the running laptop still in her lap with one hand and tried her best to hold back her bangs from her face. It was only marginally successful, strands still escaped and bounced against her eyelashes.

She made a mental note it was time for a haircut again. While Pidge enjoyed field work, it came with its fair share of trials.

The bed of the pickup truck that she sat in shifted. Looking up, she saw Hunk climbing in and joining her.

“Any new updates?” He asked. He carefully stepped over multitudes of cables, bending down and focusing his attention on the mobile radar that occupied most of the back of the truck. “Should be time for the afternoon update by now, right?”

alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there’s no one around to see them?

Clemency comes from a really tight knit enclave. they were born and raised in it for over twenty years. being alone, being lonely, was really something they'd never experienced before. But given the horror that occurred in their enclave not even a month ago, all they've known lately has been loneliness. They don't prefer loneliness, it makes them feel like a speck in the hands of a giant. They've been coping through prayer. Mostly to the Raven Queen, but often to other gods as the need arises. It's almost like being back home.

desire: What’s one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

what Clemency wants most in this very moment is to go back. they'd love to go back and stop their mentors from committing an atrocity the likes of which they'd never imagined. Short of that, though, I think they'd love an audience with RQ. they have countless questions and feel so lost in this moment. I think it's such a ridiculous desire in their mind that being open with it simply isn't an option. They'd do anything their goddess asked of them to fulfill it.

fear: What is your OC’s greatest fear? What do they do when confronted with it? Are they open with their fear, or do they hide it away?

Clemency is scared that Tranquility and Justice, her mentors, were doing exactly what was asked of them by the Raven Queen. That somehow this show of cruelty was meant to be. That cold-blooded murder is what their Lady requires. Because if that's the truth, if it's not just bad behavior, then everything they've believed for years will come crashing down around them. This fear worms its way into their head late at night but they just do their best to dismiss it as nonsense. entertaining it is simply too difficult

1 year ago, to this day, my friend bought me Sonic Frontiers. It has now been 1 year of me being completely hyperfixed on the blue blur, his twin tailed brother, and all the others. I can't thank my friend enough for what he did.

I will be taking a week or two off from posting, just as a small break.

In a year, there have been

646 drawing pages (at least, saved on my phone)

2 au's (Re:Donely and Road Trip)

So many friends and acquaintances (if you know who you are, pat yourself on the back)

Hundreds of laughs

Dozens of au's I've become obsessed with

Too many times where I redesigned a character

and 1 year where I have certainly smiled at least once each day.

so I've mentioned offhand that rhapaw was inspired by a fall out boy song and it was in part! the first verse of where did the party go just has such a fun vibe (and reminds me of the time an end of summer program dance I went to got canceled in the middle of the dance because one of the older kids got caught with cigarettes or weed I think) and so that helped inspire the club setting. but what really pushed it over the edge is the fact that I was relistening to balance and was also thinking about how some people mischaracterize Barry as like. this wilting flower of a guy and not a guy who could believably be a competent bodyguard/fighter and i messaged Hali something to the effect of like "man imagine Barry as a bouncer" and it uh. it asploded :3
