It's been 6 months...6 months since the incident. And they barely made much progress...

6 months since the love of their life came back but is in a terrible state and despised and feared them so so much.

3 months since they found a spell to see Mc's memories to find the truth and is horribly haunted by it.

They were so lost...

They wanted to help...but how?

How can they help someone that used to love them so much but now despised them so much that they would rather drop dead than have them close...

If only they could find a way to turn back time to avoid such things happening maybe their life would remain as it was? or become official lovers and all...?

...

But this won't stop them from trying...

It is a challenge but if it is to get them to trust and befriend them once again or at least...have them not look at them with eyes filled with fear, uncertainty, and so much hate.

it has only been 6 months so it's ok! Even if it would take them years and so to help them. It's ok even if...it means having to return them back to their own world...

So it is not the time for them to dilly dally and lose hope. It's time to pay them back for everything they've given to every single one of them.

In those 6 months, they started with itty-bitty steps...by allowing them to adjust at their own pace and also 'finally' getting a therapist and a counselor for the school.

They've also sought advices and to do's and not to do from people with a wide knowledge of such cases.

They did their best to not to trigger traumatic flashbacks by avoiding sending too many presents, less contact, and trying to be as calm and patient as they could whenever they are nearby to not overwhelm and pressure them.

Instead of forcefully conversing with them in person instead they try by giving encouraging notes/messages or simply encouraging them to let out everything they feel and etc. Or sending them flowers and little trinkets.

"Hello Mc! This is Riddle...I can't really say to you to stop worrying or everything is alright so...instead, I wish you to get better soon! If you are still not comfortable with our presence it's ok take your time! I know you might be thinking I'm doing this to control you and all but all of us are being sincere in proving we are better than our alters.

They couldn't blame them to start crying and panicking when they were nearby or when receiving their gifts and letters...so it's ok. But of course, they also seek professional help to also avoid another overblot.

Because of it all slowly they start having improvements like them not having panic attacks when passing by and on some occasions, they would even text back.

It was very little but for them it is everything.

It motivates them to do more but notes not to overdo it, to go forward because little by little they are slowly but surely putting down their walls.

They even had the chance to sometimes be able to chat with them in person but behind doors/walls.

Grim could even visit them occasionally in person!

And some of the trinkets and presents they gave them weren't always thrown or burnt.

it was a great improvement which made them so so glad!

although they still try to commit suicide and inflicts self harm it was less worst than before.

So they continue to do as they did and would only do things when they feel comfortable in doing so.

It has already been 2 years already and...

"Hey Mc, Let's sit here!" Ace shouted as he sat at an empty table.

"Mmh...kay" they answered.

"Myehehehe! Look Mc! I passed the test!" Grim proudly said.

"That's nice!" They said with a soft smile as they petted the cat monster's head.

Although their reply tends to be rather dry and empty at times it is fine. They are happy to study, hangout, and spend time alongside them.

The graduates would also often visit them when they have time they too notices the differences but are satisfied to how it is now.

"Ace! Deuce!"

"Shit...heyya Riddle-senpai! Long time no see!" Ace said as he nervously rubs the back of his head.

"Oh you to are wanna be the end of me!!! Just because I'm not always in school means the two of you could just go and break the queen's rules!!!! Hah I shouldn't have entrusted the dorm to the both of you..." Riddle said as he massages the bridge of his nose.

"Ahahhaah....sorry dorm leader." Deuce said sincerely apologetic for the trouble he's been causing.

"Hello-I Riddle calm down...I've brought some newly baked tarts everyone." Trey said upon arrival.

Soon all of them are finally present in the cafeteria causing a lot of the 2nd to 1st year's to admire them although with such childish displays from each and everyone of them Mc can't help but chuckle and feel more at ease.

Hearing Mc laugh at their antics made their hearts swell with pride and joy. They've did well. Although they wouldn't be like the person they were before it makes them so happy to see them feel more comfortable than before since the incident.

Although it was quite a shame they couldn't take their friendship to another level yet...it was still fine. They can't really put all their efforts to waste when they've already reached this far! They just need to be more patient and understanding.

Besides if it weren't for their new found 2nd and 1st year's friends they couldn't have done better.

"Heyya Mc, Acey, and Juice-senpai's!” Kroner a nice and goofy 1st year although he is quite dumb but he makes great food and and...talks to squirrels...

'Plastic annoying dino' is what most of them thought.

'Today isn't so bad. Everyone is having tons of fun and the air felt light and comfy.' Mc thought as they watched them with a very fond smile.

It has been really hard for them to trust, love, and smile once again. Without their friends, they would have long been 6 feet under. It was a really traumatic experience and they truly wish these kinds of moments stays forever and that they would NEVER meet their alters once again.

Their heart may have shattered and was beyond repair, but their friends still gave their all in sharing theirs slowly while slowly but surely building up their broken heart, although the cracks remain they built a foundation to make be like how it used to be yet warmer and filled.

'I really am lucky to have such people by my side. Soon I will be finally spending these moments with less worry and pain.' They thought as they join in the fun.

Poison Ivy

Although she doesn't show it, of all the maniacs throwing drugs at her, Bats feels cautiously (paranoidly) intimidated by Ivy (lots of sex pollen fics in their previous life and little time for sex in this life if that's they cares about it). Already in case their costume is fully masked and therefore with filters (Spoiler and Black Bat Type) but every time they faces Ivy they does not allow themselves to be touched afterwards and they decontaminates before changing.

But in the face of Ivy, Bats treats her exactly the same as Joker, Penguin or Black Mask of course. Which Ivy doesn't know if it offends her greatly or pleases her because you already know "the hammer of justice is unisex"

The fact that Bats is not seduced by pheromones does not mean that Ivy does not flirt, it helps to make the robins furious (and if they are hooked on top of that, lust-hate is a bomb that clouds their thoughts)

Batfam hated that Ivy would "go over to the neutral-good side". You can't imagine how much she comes to visit.

Ivy in her villainous days sent messages in the language of flowers to Bats. Complex messages of the type that not only the color but the number of flowers and certain positions or pairs count. I think I already said out there that Bats is "Dandelion" (affectionate).

Deep down all villains want attention because what's the point of leaving clues if not???

It means a lot to her that your relationship has been formed without drugs or seduction.

Two Face

Bats' problems with Two-Face come when his "bad" personality stands out, obviously.

That being said, EVERYONE would rather have them stand out or be completely shut down than hear them BOTH argue about whether or not to kill Bats. They are like the angel and the demon of Kronk. And it's your turn to be Kronk. A very confused one.

I don't know why, but I imagine it half burnt, meat, red. And apart from the bicolor suits, using gray suits and red shirts. Don't ask. The villains of this Bats I think lean towards red.

Two-Face enjoys kidnapping Y/N Wayne and attempting psychological torture (I remind you that this side does NOT know that Y/N is Bats, the good guy does)

He never gets it so he ends up being like a kid who yells for your attention (and hits you, too). If you try to be patient and bring out his friendly side, he will make fun of you, as Harvey pleas for you (a bit Overreacting, gotta tell you, he ain't dumb, Harvey). If you don't get upset for once, however, he'll get mad because he'll think you don't care for him. Figures.

I personally think you prefer the Batman-Two Face relationship (OMG I turned this into Ladybug dinamics, kill me). Harvey will stay relatively low so as not to give you away, and your relationship is a totally different one as self-respecting opponents, although between us Two-Face is sadomasochistic everything Harvey hated getting bullied as a kid.

He likes to speak in absolutes. You spend your time speaking in gray. You are both stubborn as mules, no one wants to hear you argue when you are in a intellectual streak (everyone thanks Two-Face and his coin that there are not many of these situations), the minions (it takes me hours to remember this word, damn it) prefer to force the situation and hope for the best. Don't eat their heads, just break them.

Riddler

If you're waiting for Batman 2022!Riddler, stop reading now, sorry (I haven't seen The Batman YET, I don't like how Pattison plays Bruce, Batman is good though)

You always try to sneak him a job to rehabilitate him. It does not work. Actively the one you try to rehabilitate the most.

In Earth-1T8 he has also created an Oracle-style cyber identity. You even have him in the soup. Between hacks and crashes he and Barbara have made your Batcomputer have mazes and minotaurs at the back doors.

Literally, if he is very bored sometimes he hacks all the satellites in the world to change a letter to a symbol or some extremely irritating nonsense (this is how he starts and works his way up to destroying the world economy if he is not listened to. Listen to him)

So you have your "unwritten rules" of "hey Bats, BaTs, BATS I have one new" "I'm coming Ed, don't kill/cause the death of anyone" "OK"

If he didn't put lives on the line to get attention and increase the difficulty of his puzzles, which is fucking stressful, you'd consider him a friend.

Everybody knows. Still Harley beat him in "frienemy n1". There is a disagreement between the two of them about that and whether or not Harley is still a villain although they get along pretty well.

Riddler is the first on fall -intellectually- in love with you. And he knows your secret identity. And he strongly suspects that you are 1. a rejuvenated any of your parents (this one saw Detective Conan), 2. a time traveler (almost!). 3. Clairvoyant or telepathic. He really leans towards the second option. What is terrifying.

And he kindly takes your identity into account when he programs his riddles. Another of the unwritten rules, there are things that ARE RESPECTED.

Have you ever told him, more seriously than jokingly, why don't you meet in a cafeteria to talk instead of meeting like this. The most critical hit, always leaves him baffled.

Shinsou x ghost reader

You never thought you would be in a relationship again, well because you were dead until you met Shinsou.

Shinsou didn’t mind at all that you were dead much to your surprise. He loved you anyway.

Most of your dates are hanging out in his dorm or walking around at night when you felt your best and when Shinsou couldn’t sleep. Walks around the park were your favorite and it tired him out enough to go to bed. When it was completely quiet with the stars overhead it was nice to have peace with your favorite person.

You can have a physical body for brief periods of time and use that to cuddle with him or when he’s sad to make him feel your kisses when he needs it the most. He loves laying in between your legs with his head on your soft stomach as you scratch his scalp to sleep. You can usually time it just right to go back into transparency once he’s asleep.

You can’t eat but it doesn’t really matter because Shinsou is whiny. He likes when you feed him snacks as you talk about your day in his bed, so it feels like a meal together. You usually have a pretty boring day mostly just waiting for him to come back but he still wants to hear about it every night.

Sometimes you two play pranks on people in the dorms and occasionally you’ll tag along with him to school. No one can see you if you don’t want them to, so Shinsou is the only one seeing you when you do stupid stuff around the classroom.

Moving certain objects so people do double-takes, flickering lights, opening windows, creaking doors, and other ghostly moves that scare people.

Once you flashed him right behind the 1-B teacher during a lesson and Shinsou choked on his water until he was red in the face.

Shinsou begged for a while to know where you were buried but you refused to tell him. To see him at your grave would just upset both of you in the long run and god forbid he got you flowers. You hate flowers now. Especially after your funeral, knowing that your mom’s house was filled with them in place of you.

He gave up asking when it was obvious you weren’t budging and whenever he passes by a cemetery during patrol, he pauses for a moment to wonder if you were there.

On your death anniversary, he treats it like a birthday even if you hate it. Shinsou makes you blow out a candle every year on a small cupcake then gives you a kiss. He jokingly got you a polka dot party hat and you almost smacked him.

“If you can celebrate my birthday I can celebrate your death day. It’s important because you are important to me.” He reasoned.

How could you say no to that?

When laying in bed together sometimes as a joke you put your limbs through his body and he HATES it. It always makes you laugh because you can kinda feel his organs but in a weird way. He can feel it too and it creeps him out.

Once you put your index through his eyeball and he screamed the girliest scream you had ever heard from your boyfriend. Shinsou smacked his hand over his eye with the most betrayed look on his face and wouldn’t lay down next to you for the next hour sitting in his desk chair until you convinced him you were sorry.

When you want to annoy him you knock stuff over around his room around him or flicker. Lamps, books, homework, anything to get his attention, it’s getting smacked.

When you flicker you can see your skeleton through your image and it rightfully creeps him out. "Sweetheart you're going to give me a heart attack, you have to stop."

The weirdest thing for both of you is putting your hand inside his heart and feeling the vibration, Shinsou says it makes his heart feel cold even though you’re always warm to him.

When you two fight Shinso hates it because he literally can’t see you. During serious fights when you feel hurt you don’t allow him to see you and wallow in sadness. Sometimes you stay in his room but most of the time you leave. Going back to your grave to think. Looking at the wilting flowers, trying not to compare that to your relationship.

The usual thoughts of him being a human and you being a ghost is always on the front of your mind.

Shinso only gets more upset with himself the longer you avoid him because he has no way of finding you or making you stay to talk. Only when you’re ready to talk do you come back and by then he just wants to crush you in a hug, thinking he would never see you again because of his words. He loves you too much to not fight for you.

Even days after a fight when both of you made up he’s back to showering you with love and affection. Forcing you to take naps with him. He tries to make you laugh more and you appreciate the effort.

In the end, he really does love you and the relationship works.

She replayed the heated words over and over again in her head, trying her hardest to push them aside in favor of meditation. Anger has no real power, child. It eats until there is nothing but hatred. It is not our way, only hope. Brother Walker always knew what to say when it came to her concerns and she sighed heavily, feeling more foolish and guilty. She’d been too harsh to Jason, too cruel in her retorts. Even if the fight had come from both sides, she owed him an apology just as he did her.

The blue light faded from between her hands, and she started rising to her feet intent to find Jason when the bedroom door opened, and he appeared with a bundle of wildflowers in his hands. They blinked at one another, both slack-jawed and he held up the flowers. “These are for you,” he said awkwardly. “For earlier.”

She took them with soft hands and raised them to her nose, inhaling their sweet scent before setting them aside on the bed; he gave her a confused look, barely hiding his hurt and she folded herself into his chest, resting her chin on his collarbone. “I’ve been thinking about you,” she whispered, and his arms immediately locked around her.

“I’ve been thinking about you too,” he murmured, one hand cupping the back of her neck, the other at her back. “I shouldn’t’ve said what I did earlier. You were right…it’s not your job to see me through the night.”

“No,” she agreed. “but as your friend, I do have a responsibility to make sure you’re getting through it.”

“Friend?”

“That’s the part you’re gonna focus on?”

Jason chuckled quietly. “It’s the most important part to me right now.”

She pulled away, looking up at him and asked, “Stay the night?”

“Always.”

Cam.  It’s something he’s wanted to say for a long time, and Lillian patiently waits for him to say how he feels.

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background

Lillian.  Cam’s phone would probably be filled with photographs of cats he’s stumbled across over the years, hehe.

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror

Lillian leaves sweet love notes.  Cam doesn’t say anything about the notes, but he’ll leave the bathroom blushing.

Who buys the other cheesy gifts

I feel like this couple would make gifts for one another.  I feel like Cam giving a gift of a bouquet is a bit of a no-brainer, but perhaps he puts a piece of jewelry in the middle of one of the flowers.  I guess some would find that sappy, but I think it could be cute.

Who initiated the first kiss

Cam.  As Lillian is a bit of a blank slate as far as it comes to personality, I feel that Cam would do best with a partner that would let him get to his comfort zone before proceeding any further.

Who kisses the other awake in the morning

They take turns, and when all their cats wake up, they demand pets and nuzzles as well.  Naturally, they’d sleep right at the foot of the bed, or on top of Cam’s head, haha. <3

Who starts tickle fights

Lillian.  I like to think of her as having a playful side. Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower

A shy, flustered Cam.  I can imagine him building up the courage to ask and Lillian’s casual demeanor keeps him at ease.

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch

Lillian.  I would think Cam often gets so absorbed in his work he forgets to eat, so Lillian stops by regularly to give him a hello and make sure he’s had something to eat.  And she also would be insistent on staying until she’s seen him dig in before heading back out, hehe.

Who was nervous and shy on the first date

Cam for sure.  Howard made him straighten his tie and button his shirt up properly, and Cam is a bit stiff and awkward at the beginning of the date until he realizes it’s just hanging out with Lillian, his favorite person.

Who kills/takes out the spiders

As a farmer, I think Lillian would get used to spiders and not be bothered to take them outside.  Likewise, as someone who works with flowers, Cam would do the same.  They understand the benefits of spiders against crop/flower-eating bugs.  They respect spiders in their house.

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk I can see Lillian getting a little loud when she’s had a bit to drink, being a bit of a flirty drunk.  I can also imagine her gushing about how great Cam is to her friends when she’s sloshed.
