The sound of things being thrown around dragged Armin from his home office, to the nursery upstairs on the family’s second level.

“Princess, what are you doing?” He asked as he rounded the corner to see his wife, 30 weeks pregnant with their first child. Her brown hair tied up in a bun, an ever growing pile of cardboard boxes behind her with his tool set open in front of her.

“I got bored and I wanted to get Bean’s room started so it can be perfect when she comes,”

“While I was in the meeting with Reiner?” Now that Armin was CEO for Paradis Inc and Reiner was CEO for Marley Financial, he wanted to keep a peaceful and beneficial relationship with the firm that since he wanted to shift all the company’s financial services to Marley Financial. And he needed to do it before Y/N got to 32 weeks.

He’d told the board of directors as soon as he found out about the pregnancy, that he would be going on a vacation as soon as Y/N got to 32 weeks, or earlier if she needed him to be home.

“It was only a couple hours that we had to go over the items on the docket before Reiner had another meeting,”

“Well that only took a couple hours to build,” Y/N pointed to the completed IKEA dresser for their bouncing unborn baby girl.

“Princess, I know you want it perfect, but I wanted to build this so you don’t have to,” Armin strode towards his wife, wrapping his toned arms around her waist so that his arms got to wrap around both of the most important women in his life.

“I was bored,” Y/N shrugged and Armin chuckled.

“I just don’t want you two to get hurt,” Armin gently brushed some loose pieces behind Y/N’s ear with a peaceful smile on his face. Nothing mattered outside this room. His only concern was his beautiful wife and his beautiful unborn baby.

“Is she awake?” Armin asked. He knew that their bean could have a weird circadian rhythm, but he really hoped he could feel her kick.

“Yeah, why do you think I did all this?” Y/N smiled at her Prince Charming.

As soon as the affirmation left her lips, Armin knelt down and rubbed the spot on Y/N’s belly that was usually where their bean usually kicked.

“We can’t wait to meet you bean, and we love you more than you’ll ever know,” Y/N’s brown eyes filled with unshed tears at Armin’s words. He’d always had a great way with words, but hearing him speak to their daughter as she was growing, and no doubt the hormones, made her cry.

“Princess? What’s wrong?” Armin asked, shooting to his feet while keeping one hand on her bump and the other cupped her cheek.

“Just hearing you talk to bean is so sweet Minnie,”

“Thank you so much sweetheart,”

“For what?”

“Giving me the greatest gifts I could ask for. Your love, and now our bean,” Armin pulled his wife in for a kiss and the baby decided that now was a great time to kick. Her parents couldn’t just leave her out of the lovefest.

“How about this. Since you’re probably exhausted from doing all this. How about we go downstairs, and get the tv set up for a movie marathon of your choosing and I’ll make your pregnancy cravings. Gotta keep my ladies fed,”

“Minnie that’s so sweet,”

“Come on. That was my only meeting for today. Mikasa has been taking most of the meetings, get her prepped when she steps in for me in a couple weeks,” There was nobody he trusted more with his company than his childhood best friend.

“Let’s do it,” Armin reached an arm underneath her legs, and a squeal left Y/N’s lips as her husband effortlessly lifted her into his arms bridal style and carried her downstairs to their living room.

There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his small fledgling family.

After Armin got to the family room, his phone dinged with a text message.

“Oh no,” Armin smiled at the text on his phone.

“What’s wrong?” Y/N asked, concern in her voice.

“Mikasa incoming. I’ll clean out the guest room so she has a place to stage bean’s new stuff that she undoubtedly bought her,” Armin chuckled as Y/N sat on the couch, wrapping her with the plush blanket draped over the back of the couch.

“She’s been like this since we named her bean’s godmother,” Y/N smiled and rubbed her belly where bean was still kicking.

“Your godmother is going to clean out her bank account if daddy doesn’t stop her,” Y/N laughed before the sound of the ring doorbell filled the home.

“Minnie,” Y/N called, starting up Netflix.

“I got it,” he smiled, pressing a kiss to the top of her head as he opened the door to see Jean, Connie, and Sasha at the door with arms full of bags and boxes. Behind them, Mikasa got out of her SUV and grabbed another set of bags.

“Guest room is all cleared out for you guys,” Armin smiled.

“Why not just put it in baby girl’s room?” Jean asked with an eyebrow raised.

“I got bored,” Y/N called from her spot on the couch.

“Y/N you know what the doctor said about lifting anything over ten pounds,” Jean scolded gently.

So while Bean’s godmother was spoiling her, her godfather was making sure that her mama wasn’t overdoing it.

As another massive tifa and cloti fan and ffvii in general, I admire your collection of books and merchandise! Do you have any ranking or top recommendations for someone who wants to start collecting? I mainly mean books of all sorts but feel free to reference anything else!

There's a lot of new merch coming out that's on the high price tag side, so if you want to start a collection I think the first thing you should do is decide what you want to collect.

Aside from my OG Tifa and dissidia Cloud I don't have any big play arts Kai dolls and I decided when I started collecting I wouldn't go into the play arts Kai side because those get really expensive and there has to be a limit when you're buying merch or else you just spiral into hoarding and trying to build the biggest collection you can imo.

I'm fussy about fanmade merch too. I only buy good quality ones that I really like. I have a couple of lamps, some pins and a bracelet.

With my official merch, I hunt most things on eBay or cdjapan.co.jp does proxy sometimes and they find it if it's not too old. My theatrhythm statics were really hard to get hold of, but I wanted a set because Nojima has them too 🤣

With the new lines it's best to hunt around and not just go with the first price you see. My Cloud statuette I got a little bit cheaper than retail but I almost forgot to check SE direct and nearly paid more than they were selling it for, so definitely definitely double check before buying. With things that come in sets you should decide if you want the entire set or if you just want a couple of characters. One of my Cloud and Tifa minis has a set of twelve and I also wanted the set that had Balthier and Fran in it, but Fran's one was super expensive at the time and in the end I gave up. I probably would buy all of those eventually but I'm saving my money for remake merch for now. I'm betting they do a grunt Cloud and cowgirl Tifa statuette.

As for the books, the shipping cost on them usually costs at least half what you pay for them, and SE direct is always late. I think the only book I got on time that didn't come from eBay was my world preview book. The older ultis I got off eBay and haggled for when I could.

With those I think it depends what info you wanna learn more about. The AC reunion files is already translated, but the others aren't in English except for the archive books, world preview, material ulti and ulti plus.

The archive books are really nice if you wanna read more about all the games. They're a set of three, although I only have the one for 7,8,9 atm. Most of the books repeat the same info, so unless you're into collecting books (I am 🤣) it's really only the art style ones like the material ulti that have all the concept artwork that are worth buying. They're really pretty ❤️

The AC reunion files, material ulti, world preview book and archives are the prettiest and have info in English you can read. The others need Google lens to read but they have some nice info if you put the effort in.

The novels are harder to get now than when I bought them. I got the kids are alright and otwtas from Amazon for £20. Picturing the past is in the world preview book and it'll be in the translated version of trace of two pasts when it comes out, so it's up to you if you get the JP version as well. ToTP is supposed to be out in November 🤞

I think it comes down to deciding what you wanna see on your shelves and then searching for it. I have things bookmarked for ages and if I lose out on something I wanted I just wait a while and then look again. Patience is really important. I never impulse buy. I always check my budget and never go over it.

I lost out on a few Tifas I wanted, but I got them eventually. My heroines set took ages to get, so did my OG Tifa mini play arts Kai. I hadn't even planned to collect until I saw that and decided I wanted her, then I had to get Cloud. I got Cloud, lost out on Tifa, found another one and two years later I have two display cases full of stuff 🤣

I also don't have the full of from the 10th anni, but I don't want them. So, don't feel like you need all of one set if you don't want them all. It's your collection.

First of all, ang ganda. So much emotion, very roller-coaster ang ma-fefeel mo sa story na to. This is my second story sa Infliction na natapos ko actually. Una kay Hell. Hahaha. Diba naka-warm up na ko. 🤣

My thoughts about everything:

Characters:

Felix Arkon Gulmatico-Laurent. Gosh, speechless ako sayo boy. Hahaha. Hindi ko naman maitatanggi na kinilig ako sa kanya talaga kasi the assurance grabe umaapaw and the honesty top- tier plus kapag magmahal siya center of the world na. The way he would move heaven and earth for his loved ones 100/100 talaga. Pero siyempre hindi siya perfect. Ang pinaka-problem siguro kay Arkon is sinasarili niya lahat na kahit sobrang bigat na hanggang pwede pa, kanya lang. He knows na marami siyang support system pero he chose to keep it kasi nasa isip niya it will burden the people around him. Overall, mamahalin. 🤣

Olivia Maravilla-Laurent. You'll love her. Period. She's a softy but at the same time tough, yan ang nakikitang pag-potray sa kanya. Sa mga napagdaanan niya na hindi niya deserve and to fight it, tama lang ang word na survivor sa kanya. Wala lang ako mapintas kay Livi kasi pati si Helena na maldita love siya. Hahaha. Ang grabe lang siguro kay Liv ay yung overthinking and self pity niya dito malala pero ayaw ko naman invalidate yun kasi gets naman kung saan niya hinuhugot yon. Overall, mas mamahalin.

Story (scenes etc)

Eto yung story na akala mo puro nalang tragedy. Kasi naman hanggang dulo pagsubok malala tong peg ni te Cams. Hahahaha. Pero bumawi naman. 🤣

Ang galing netong story. Hindi mabigat pero hindi rin magaan. The only time na sinipon ako yung na-deds si Kim, after nun na-sad lang nang konti sa ibang scene pero the rest happy/kilig na. Hindi ko sure kung bakit. 😁

I always admire when te Cams brought two people together and etong dalawang tao broken na akalain mo beyond repair. Let's face it before meeting each other Arkon and Livi, they're not living. They are surviving nalang. Kung oras mo na, oras mo na. Parang ganun eh. Kaya as the story progressed nakikita mo yung glow-up between the characters ang laki. They started seeing life differently and i love how they became each other's strength na yung broken pieces naging whole. Destiny talaga sila. 😭❤️

Sobrang ganda rin ng mga topics dito sa stories na to. First,moving on. That is not easy to move forward dahil masakit, kahit hindi kaya pero I salute how the story shows that they do it for themselves na walang tutulong sayo kundi sarili mo na okay rin ang may inspiration pero kung gusto mo talaga, magagawa mo. Kaya let that sink in. Second, being a mother. For some importante ang magka-baby. In this story you provided adoption, surrogacy and pregancy-- different ways, same outcome and that's amazing. Third, awareness. Down-syndrome, Parkinson's and trauma other sensitive topics na alam na-tackle sa stories na to, thank you for that kasi eye-opening yon. Lastly, relationships. Bet ko yung hierarchy ni Arkon pag dating sa relationship nila ni Livi. Noted po.

The wedding scene po. For a person na dagat is life, nag-imagine ako dun talaga. Yung venue, yung suot ni Livi lahat. Sobrang magical. Deserve ni Livi yon.

Also yung heart kineme part. Remember when Arkon is begging Kim's heart to beat vs. Livi letting him know na her heart will beat and Arkon can listen to it everytime. Glow - up din.

Ano ba pa?? Ah yung Erwin scene. Deserve talaga. Sarap mag-cheer habang nagbabasa. Kasi like everyone else kung pwede lang pugutan si Erwin ginawa na. Hahahaha.
