For those keeping score here are all the TV shows based on the work of Neil Gaiman from the last ten years. Lucifer - Loosely based on the version of Lucifer who quits ruling Hell and opens a piano bar, from The Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman. Originally aired on Fox and then moved to Netflix for seasons 4 through 6. Neil Gaiman also got to play God in a bonus episode for season 3. The full series can be watched on Netflix. And is available on DVD. The plot deals with Lucifer, the ruler of Hell, up and quitting and moving to Earth where he opens a night club called Lux and takes up playing piano. In the TV series he befriends (and eventually falls in love with) a woman homicide detective named Chloe Decker.

_______________________ American Gods - Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman. Aired on Starz. The plot deals with a man called Shadow Moon who gets dragged into the strange world of Old and New Gods vying for power.

________________ Anansi Boys - Originally written by Neil Gaiman as a spin-off of American Gods, the TV series version was filmed for Amazon Prime and is currently in post-production (Not yet released.) The plot deals with the sons of Anansi, the African trickster Spider-God.

__________________ Good Omens - Showrun by Neil Gaiman and based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Also Neil Gaiman has a small cameo in the first season. Available now on Amazon Prime. Seasons 1 and 2 are complete. Season 3 has not yet started filming and will very likely be the final season. Season 1 is currently available on DVD. The plot deals with two "differently competent" entities, an Angel and a Demon, who have come to love life on Earth and each other. And now must work together to prevent the apocalypse.

______________________________ The Sandman - First episode was co-written by Neil Gaiman, based on the stories and original characters created by Neil Gaiman with a few borrowed DC comics characters. Currently on Netflix. Season 2 is in production now. Neil Gaiman also voiced a ghostly bird in the bonus episode segment Dream of a Thousand Cats. Season 1 will be available on DVD and Blu Ray at the end of this month. The plot deals with Morpheus, the King of Dreams, who accidentally gets summoned and captured by occultists who had been trying to capture The Grim Reaper. After over a hundred and six years in captivity Morpheus finally escapes and has to track down his tools which had been taken from him when he was captured. He also comes to realize he had made many terrible mistakes in the past and struggles to set those wrongs right.

_________________________________________ The Dead Boy Detectives - First official spin-off of The Sandman. The Dead Boy Detectives were originally planned as an HBO Max series (now just Max) but moved to Netflix after the success of the first season of The Sandman. Based on characters who first appeared in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman: Season of Mists, Neil Gaiman is involved in the production. The plot is a pair of ghost teenagers decide to become detectives and are really bad at it. These two characters made a previous appearance in Doom Patrol on Max (Formerly HBO Max) but had been played by different actors.

There is more unnamed eggs out there (egg A1, hope egg)

The resistance/rebellion faction has been doing hidden operations on quesadilla island, the codes and masked guy who gave sofia’s blueprints are a part of it

Many workers of the federation are secretly a part of the rebellion too (like walter bob)

The rebellion was who helped q!Bagi and q!Cellbit recover their memories of being twins who lived on quesadilla island before

Codes can shapeshift into eggs

Qcellbit is such a funny little character with the most tragic hilarious insane backstory EVER like

• His name is probably not cellbit and he probably did't have a name prior alcatraz because he has called "cell" because of the cellphone he used

• he was in a war/Hunter games thing with imortal grim reaper deamon badboyhalo at 15 old for some reason

• he as sent to possible life-time in prison on alcatraz witch is weird becase A. brazilian law does NOT have life-time sentences the Max you can be jailed for a Crime is 40 years (i mean people can be more time in jail then that on brazil but that inst the foucous) B. Its very clearly inspirade by the american prison BUT that dosent make sanse to be the american prison becase tazercraft boys did their crimes on brazil and ware send to alcatraz anyways witch means that there is a brazilian alcatraz in Fernando de Noronha

• he EATED pac's leg off screen (its a retcon but whatever) with only his mouth a kitchen knife and a dream and he eated the WHOLE leg

• he was 18 in the events of fuga impossível witch means that A. The age of criminal responsability in brazil in this universe is 16 not 18 B. He was in juvie and after his 18 birthday he was send to alcatraz almost instantly

• he hooked up with other men in prison (cof cor guaxi cof cof)

• he was a Cook on prison and would get mad at people for talking bad about it

• after years on prison he got to make VARIOUS comercials with THE great axé singer Ivete sangalo (a singuer that Beyoncé showed admiracion)

• with the ads being canon, the movie "internet, o filme" is also canon and a know ex-canibal was on a movie with a bunch of brazilian Internet celebrietys

• he made a tharapy so intense that he could make peace with the guy he KILLED (felps) and the guys he tormented(tazercraft)

I'm trying to think of things Bad has said to the islanders, not just to chat, about his characters species or lore:

Dapper knows about Bad's grim reaper lore and has been spoken to about it a lot - Dapper is a grim reaper in training. Baghera and Pomme know Bad is 'Jim Beaver' and Cellbit overheard Bad and Dapper talking about grim reaper stuff (and got advice directly from Bad about the dangers of ressurection), but it seems like none of them realise this isn't a prank or is not canon.

Bad said to Mike that in 200 years they'll all probably be dead, but he'll still be there. Mike said he kept forgetting Bad wasn't human, and Bad responded "Yeah! BadBoyHalo lives forever!" And then talked about how lonely it can get because everyone you loves dies and leaves you alone.

Spoke to Dapper about how their family is very long lived, saying he will live forever, Skeppy will live forever because he's diamonds, and Dapper will live a long life because he's a dragon. (Pomme was nearby but may or may not have heard)

Spoke to Dapper and Pomme about how lonely it can be when you live 1000+ years and how important a friendship with someone who lives as long as you do is.

When Dapper called tik-tac-toe an archaic game Bad said "Just because your father is 11,000 years old...!" (Confirmed this as canon to chat which matched up with previous info he gave)

When talking about Foolish's Capybara portal, he warned him it probably wouldn't be safe to leave it open because he didn't know what could come through. There was reference to a demon coming through and destroying everything. When Foolish asked if this was something that happened before, Bad said he knew of 'another island' with a demon problem. (Another day he vaguely referred to Max about people not knowing what they would get when they did summoning rituals and when Max said he knew what he was going to get, Bad said "Yeah I think people thought they knew what they were getting too...". It doesn't seem like Max picked up on this and it was more for the ghosties)

Dapper wrote on a sign to Baghera that Bad was 1000+ years old, and Pomme corrected he was more like 11,000+. Not sure if Baghera accepted it as a joke or lore since they were talking about the doctor saying he had dementia beforehand.

Richarlyson asked how hired Bad as a grim reaper if he has a rockstar background when he was going to show them Muffin (Not sure if Richas canonically knows Bad is a grim reaper or if this was out of character)

At some point I fiddled with WantTrees and noticed there are many comments left behind by devs who worked on TS2, mostly considering how wants work for different aspirations.

Some of them seemed interesting so I started copying comments to a separate file... and then forgot about it. Well, I was cleaning my desktop just now and found the file again.

Since these might be interesting for other TS2 nerds as well, a random collection of TS2 dev commentary about the wants under the cut!

(I edited out the abbreviations and random typos to make these easier to read. Spoiler alert for, uh, exposed game mechanics?)

When a Romance Sim buys a fireplace, they want to use it. When a Family and Knowledge sims lights a fire in a fireplace, they fear fire, Family death.

Sims want to chat and send email after buying a computer. Elders fear email once.

When a Sim sees another Sim die, they want to beat the grim reaper. Must be short-lived.

Family Parents with strong personality traits will want their children to be more like them. Wants are exclusive for personality, needs min rel with child. Recurs after sleep.

After owning a lot of outdoor growing plants, Fortune Sims want a gardener.

Sloppy Sims hate changing a diaper after they have a child/adopt a child/have a grandchild. Lasts until the child is no longer in diapers.

Family Sims who have their children taken by the social worker want a baby.

After reaching creativity level 3, a Sim wants to buy a new creativity skill object.

After having a fire, sims want a fire alarm.

If a Popularity Sim has a lousy party, they want these objects which help make parties better.

Makes the Romance Sim who has had a WooHoo want it in different objects, and want it again with the same sim the next day, but with less and less intensity each day that goes by.

Repeating cluster where non Popularity Sim wants to socialize with their best friend every 6 hours, strengthening as the relationship becomes stronger. This makes the Sim focus more on Sims who are their best friends.

Once having maxed the creativity skill, Sims want to write a great novel or paint a great painting. Once having sold a great novel/painting, they want to quit their job and keep doing it.

Progressive social tree for Romance Sims after being tickled. Lets the Sim who has been tickled with "binge" for a while on relatively easy, short term, high ad wants.

After eating a food prepared to some minimal level of quality, the sim will want to eat that food at the right time of day, for about as long as they are the current age, then it dies away. Sims who are "off schedule" may not have this behavior due to food type unavailability.

Wants for Sims who were Best friends/Steadies/relatives of the Sim who went to college. Drives wanting to maintain the relationship, wanting to follow Sim to college where appropriate, and wants for the college Sim to do well/fear doing badly.

Romance Sim wants to socialize with their Lover every 6 hours, weakening as the relationship becomes stronger. This makes the Sim focus more on Sims who are approaching the point of losing the Love Bit bit, making the Sim try to retain love relationships. When the relationship rises, however, the Sim will focus more on relationships which are not yet developed into Love.

Sparknotes version of qBads lore?

(us Ghosties have multiple thousand pages documents trying to put shit together soooo we don't know EVERYTHING about qBad but we know some backstory so I'll just give you the basics)

qBad was an angel, what type of rank we have no idea, however at some point a couple millennia ago he fell from Grace and became a fallen angel, aka, a demon, just not a hellborn one like qMrouse.

At some point after his fall he took on a job position as a Grim Reaper after training for centuries with one of many other Grim reapers

He's dropped tons of random lore bits about his life throughout time but they're not really relevant

I'm talking, shit like; he knew Darwin, he and Foolish were both in Pompeii when Vesuvius erupted (he was on vacation, he has no idea why Foolish was there), he witnessed the extinction of the dinosaurs when he was in heaven and had a hand in it, etc.

THEN he decided to take a vacation on Quesadilla Island of his own volition to take a temporary break from his Grim Reaper responsibilities since he hadn't had a break in centuries

Although he obviously got stuck on the island and oddly enough, he still didn't even manage to escape his responsibilities having canonically been the one to help Trump, Tilin, Juana, Bobby and Max cross over the river, to guide them into the spiritual plane.

Lore on the island wise, it's mostly a lot of little things but the I'll summarize the current storyline

When the eggs disappeared qBad began torturing himself with soul vultures, having them eat at him, which caused his soul to leak out of his body and decay.

During the nuke at the end of Purgatory qBad shielded Dapper with his body, tanking a nuke hit to the back since neither of them made it onto the boat on time.

This radiation rapidly increased qBads physical decay and for MONTHS Bad was walking around practically dead but was forcing himself to keep it together because he was still needed but eventually his physical body just gave out on him.

Because of this, qBad recently died and returned to the place he visits every time his physical body dies. Although this time he was given a chance to re-enter the heavens after millennia as a demon, however he chose to return to the mortal plane because he couldn't bear to leave 'the little ones' (all the eggs) alone.

As a high ranking demon qBad is able to die and come back without physical issues but every reincarnation he has to recollect his memories.

Also, fun fact, when he dies to something he comes back immune to the thing that killed him! qBad is canonically immune to decapitation (French revolution), being burnt at the stake (Salem witch trials), being drowned with his feet in cement (the mob), falling down stairs (we don't ask) and now the soul decay+radiation poisoning combo!

His current reincarnation remembers absolutely nothing of the past year, but he does have memories.

He remembers him and Foolish in somewhere similar to Egypt (the summer home), he also recognizes qPhil although hasn't specified how and remembers qCellbit from the Hunger Games which canonically happened 10 years before the island so he has memories but they're not up to date.

Marko definitely bites his nails, just freaking munches on them. I mean the amount of times we see him with his hand by his mouth in the film is insane. Probably does it without noticing that he’s actually doing it and realizes it later.

David thinks he’s the favourite child, but definitely isn’t. (It’s probably Dwayne. ) No matter how many times Max states to him that he is in fact the third favourite, David believes he’s still on top.

Paul seems like the kinda guy to get seriously hurt, but how it happened was entirely a stupid accident. Like Paul could break his wrist by missing a high five and slamming his hand into a wall.

David’s hair is so dead even the grim reaper doesn’t want it. It’s so bleached and reeks of someone’s alcoholic aunt’s basement.

Dwayne would definitely pull big brother asshole moves, like grabbing a beetle or spider and chasing Marko or Paul with it dangling in between his fingers.

Marko has definitely bitten a tree. I honestly believe this man has walked up to a tree high as balls and looked at it, said “I wonder what a tree tastes like” and just takes a chunk out of the bark.

Paul would be the kind of guy to just jump over everything. A random fence? Paul leaps over it. Unsuspecting trash can? There’s Paul. He’s just vaults over anything he can, no matter if he can actually make the jump. (Probably has whacked his bits on the ones he didn’t.)

Michael just stares at shit, off in his own world. He could be like “wow this looks great, the colours of the ride are so bright and brilliant” while the boys are trying to snap him out of it so they can go on said ride.

Max does the classic dad stance, just does it. David or the other boys could be telling him something bad and he just, *disappointed dad poses.* The boys are both confused and amused with this. He doesn’t even know he does it, but nonetheless, Max leans on his leg with his hands on his hips.

Demon Royalty AU part 3

I haven't really thought that much about other characters' roles in this story, so for now the only eggs that I've fully fleshed out the story for are Em, Dapper, Pomme, and Richas :D

Empanada: Vampire

Co-adopted by Bagi and Niki and taken care of by her clan when she was a very small child (4-5)

A group of rogue and wild vampires that fed on humans, demons, etc. massacred a human village and fed on all its inhabitants

Bagi and Cellbit arrived at the village almost too late as there was only one survivor that hasn't been devoured or turned into a rogue: Empanada

The little girl's parents were dead and she was on the brink of death too

The only way to save Em was to turn her into a vampire and she had to drink Bagi's blood to complete the transformation and save her.

Niki would also often care for Em, as Bagi's right-hand

Keep the wild/rogue vampires in mind because they'll most likely be important later

Richas: Vampire

Wild vampire child that was found running in the forest by himself when he was only 4

Had to fend for himself by feeding on animals until Cellbit, Pac, Mike, and Felps found him while hunting for food

No one knows who his parents are/were- it seemed as if they just left him to survive on his own

Was missing a leg since birth and was likely left behind

Cellbit's clan adopted Richas of course- it took a while for Richas to trust or be able to communicate properly with them at first

Was found 2 years before Em

Children typically aren't vampires because they would need to have vampiric venom in their blood and they'd have to feed on blood too. If they do become vampires as children, they still grow up normally, but stop aging in their 30s.

Dapper: Demon

Son of Bad, Prince of Death

Rumored that Dapper's other father was the Prince of Diamonds from the Overworld, a gem golem- no one dares to ask Bad though, he never gives a clear answer or dismisses the question entirely

How? Use your imagination d:

Dapper loves exploring the Nether and is very fascinated by magic, alchemy, science

Encouraged by her father to pursue her studies of the Nether Kingdom

Also studying as a reaper apprentice

Rare occassion Dapper can go to Overworld when Bad must collect souls as the grim reaper and train him for the job

Gives Bad a heart attack when Dapper would wander off when they're in the Overworld

2 years older than Pomme

Demon children can be born in different ways because there are many types of demons, but regular low-class demons are mortal and age normally living up to 300 years max. Royal blood demons grow up normally but the older they get, the slower their aging process becomes because they have longer lifespans than regular demons. Dapper has a much longer lifespan because he's the son of a demon and what is basically a diamond.

Brief intermission to talk about the French kingdom/land/it's a working title XD:

Leaders aren't monarchs, but have titles called "Royal Governors" that represent the people in a council

They have sub-regions that each leader represents- but the people are also included in discussions relating to the kingdom- their respective leaders just represent them during the meetings

The Council leaders: Étoiles, Aypierre, Antoine, Baghera

All have close ties to Bad and the Nether Kingdoms

Pomme: ???

This girl's origins are a complete mystery because like. No one really knows where she came from?

She was found in an ancient city in the Deep Dark. A baby, barely one, just sitting in ancient ruins, surrounded by cornflowers

Pomme was found by Étoiles and Aypierre during an expedition into the ancient cities

The crazy part is she wasn't crying until the two found her, so they had to bring her to the surface very quickly

Brought her to the kingdom, back to Antoine and Baghera- they all loved her instantly

Soon, they noticed her powers get very out of control, and it's difficult for the Overworld leaders to manage alone- especially since she covered the kingdom in darkness and almost single handedly brought a plague upon them at one point

They know nothing about her powers so they visited an old friend who might have some answers: Bad. He has a lot of knowledge about the Deep Dark, but he's never encountered a baby just- mysteriously surrounded by cornflowers in an ancient ruin

The Four asked Bad to watch over her as well because Pomme was truly an anomaly and they needed his help

He hesitated for a bit because he already has Dapper, but eventually agreed to adopt her too

They agreed to have Pomme stay in the Nether with Bad until she was 17 and she can fully control her powers, and Antoine, Baghera, Pierre, and Étoiles would visit her regularly too

I thought about writing Chunsik as another demon child, but I remembered his parents, right now, are only Acau and Jungryeok. He hasn't met YD yet, and also something else to keep in mind is YD being a demon is still just a headcanon.

Ghoul Squad: Upgraded

Hey, everyone! Sparky, here. I'm happy to announce that Ghoul Squad is getting a reboot. Some stuff will still be the same.

Alya = Mummy

Alix = Werewolf

Rose = Frankenstein

Juleka = Vampire

Mylene = Phantom of the Opera.

However, Marinette will not be a normal witch and Kagami is not a ghost. Here's the new additions to the squad.

Marinette = Grim Reaper

Chloe = Wicked Witch (Though she is on the side of good)

Sabrina = Invisible Woman

Lila = Demon

Kagami = Headless Horsewoman

Ondine = Creature from the Black Lagoon!

Lila and Chloe are good guys like everyone else, and we still have the teachers (and Giselle as the witches) and Adrien still becomes a Halloween themed hero albeit a Scarecrow. However this time, more boys are helping the Ghoul Squad.

Ivan = King Kong/Human Hybrid

Kim = Godzilla/Human Hybrid

Max = Martian

Nathaniel = Mothra/Human Hybrid
