slytherin pt. 2

draco x reader

summary: you are harry’s younger sister, and got sorted into slytherin

a/n: thank you so much for 400 followers and 2k notes on part 1. im still new to writing so i tried my best, hopefully you like it! this is genuinly the longest thing i have ever written lmao (i havn’t double checked it, so if there are any mistakes please tell me)

part 1

Your fourth year passed the same as the previous ones, your only comfort being that you actually had people to talk to now. With Draco Malfoy as your friend, the other Slytherins started to accept you, and instead of Harry ignoring you, it was the opposite way around this time.

Under Sirius’s instructions, he was trying to talk to you and understand where you had gone over the summer, but you avoided him completely, figuring he should have a taste of his own medicine.

Although Professor Umbridge was more often than not a pain in the ass, being in Slytherin meant that you got special privileges, later even joining the Inquisitorial Squad with Draco.

Around halfway through the year, you were walking through the courtyard when an owl flew down to you, sitting on your hand. It had an envelope with it and u quickly took it from him, frowning. You never got mail. Who would you even get mail from?

You rushed back in to your dorm before tearing open the envelope. It was a letter. Your eyes drop to the bottom of the page and you blink, not believing who it was that sent you the letter. Lucius Malfoy? Draco’s dad?

You skim through the letter, putting it down in shock when you realise what exactly it was that he wanted. You sat on your bed, taking in a few deep breathes as you thought it through.

Talking to Voldemort, or as the letter said ‘The Dark Lord’ would be different to say the least. He had tried to kill your brother, multiple times, he was supposed to be your enemy. Supposed to.

Everyone else had thrown you away, no one cared, no one except Draco and his family. You were scared, you knew that if you declined, there was a possibility they throw you out too. You couldn’t deal with the thought of that, having to leave again, having no where to go.

You quickly unrolled some parchment, writing a quick reply asking when and where you would be meeting Voldemort. You hurriedly sent it off when you heard Draco coming up the stairs, remembering the underlined note at the bottom of the letter saying that he mustn’t know.

“You okay?” Draco walks in to your room, immediately flopping on your bed.

“Yeah sorry, just finishing some homework.”

The year continues and you go back to Malfoy Manor with Draco during winter break. A few days into the vacation, you’re looking for a book in their massive library when Draco’s father comes up to you.

“Ready to meet the Dark Lord?” Startled, you turn around and see him looking at you expectantly, waiting for an answer.

“Right now?”, you question.

“Yes. Follow me.” He turns around and walks away briskly, you blink a few times before following, walking fast to catch up to him. Mr. Malfoy had sent a letter back, saying that you would be meeting him during the winter break and that you were expected to come back with Draco, but you presumed it would be later in the month, not so soon.

You end up at the basement, and Mr. Malfoy guides you through to a surprisingly lavish room. Right in the center stood the Dark Lord, Voldemort. You heard the door close behind you and realised that you were now alone with him.

You stood by the door, watching as he walks towards you.

“Y/N. Harry Potter’s sister.” he says in a whispery drawl.

You almost scoff. Even standing in front of Voldemort, Harry was all the mattered.

“You ran, left them. Why?”

You don’t say anything for a couple minutes, unsure of how you should reply. “They didn’t care about me, so I stopped caring about them.”

He doesn’t reply, instead stares at you for a couple seconds. Within the blink of an eye, a chair appears in front of you.

“Sit.” He waits for you to follow his order. “I will be reading your mind. You will not attempt to block me out in any way or form.”

Without waiting for confirmation of any sort, he raises his hand above your head and you feel your eyes get heavy.

You are back in Grimmauld Place. The scene before you has a hazy quality, everything was brighter, shinier. In front of you is Harry and Sirius hugging, both looking extremely happy as everyone ignored you.

It changes, now it’s a scene where you hide behind the kitchen door, trying to hear about their plans.

“Someone needs to be there constantly to protect it.”

“He’s definitely going to go after it.”

The door opens before you can hear anything else, and the faces of everyone staring at you from the table swirls into something else. The moment you left, the moment you decided it was enough.

“Look Y/N, maybe it would be best if you just ate somewhere else. Your place it over there near the sink, you can go eat in the living room.” It was Harry.

“What?”

“Y/N please just leave, we need to talk about stuff and you can’t listen to it.”

“‘Cause I’m a Slytherin? I thought family was more important that your fucking house.”, you shout at him, an incredulous expression on your face.

“No one here likes you. Can’t you see that? God, life would have been much easier if you’d never been born.” he yells at you.

When you open your eyes again, you aren’t in the basement anymore. You are back in your room, Draco sitting next to you, waiting for you to wake up.

He realises you’ve woken up and immediately smiles, helping you sit up against the headboard.

“Are you okay? Father said you fainted in the library, he found you on the floor.”

“Uh- yeah, yeah. Sorry my head is just hurting a bit. I’m fine.”

“Here”, he turns away, picking up a glass of water and a tablet from his side table, “have this.”

“Thanks.”

The rest of your school year was uneventful in comparison to the summer break. When Dumbledore left, things got much better for Slytherins, and Hogwarts became much more enjoyable. Being in the Inquisitorial Squad meant that rules such as “6 feet apart” didn’t apply to you, and you found yourself spending almost every waking moment with Draco.

You spent a lot of time studying, him preparing for OWLs and you finishing up homework. Sometimes you caught him staring at you, smirking and whispering a “nothing” when you asked him what was wrong.

You weren’t sure if it was because the amount of time you were spending together or something else entirely, but you found yourself staring at Draco a lot too. The only difference being that you were careful and he never caught you. His hair looked much better and for some reason you felt kind of happy when you saw the other girls jealously looking at you walk with him.

One night, you were sitting near the lake when you saw Draco’s father apparate in the distance. You got up and walked there, wondering how it was even possible. When you got close enough, he grabbed your wrist and pulled you into the forest.

“Come with me. The Dark Lord requires it.”

“What? I can’t right now, someone’s going to look for me.”

“I’ll handle it, try not to puke.”

“Wha-” You were cut off by him apparating, taking you with him. You ended up at the ministry, walking behind Mr. Malfoy once again. It brought a sense of deja vu, but at that point you were just glad you didn’t puke, even though you really wanted to.

He left you in a dark room, and told you to wait for him to come back. Confused, you ask, “Wait but you said that the Dark Lord wanted to see me.”

“No, I said he wanted you here.” With that, he apparates away, leaving you alone for a solid hour. You sit down, leaning against the wall and try to find something to occupy yourself with. Soon enough, that turns into you subconsciously smiling when you remember a joke Draco had made earlier in the day.

All of a sudden, you see a bunch of Death Eaters fly in, when they land and turn back into humans, you realise they had people with them. Squinting your eyes to get a better look, you realise it was Harry and his friends, almost everyone he was close with was there.

You were hidden behind a rock, so they couldn’t see you, but you could see them clear as day, none of them had their wands and they were stuck, squirming in the grasp of the Death Eaters who held them.

Harry was in the center, Mr. Malfoy in front of him, waiting for Harry to hand over an orb of some sort. However, before Harry gives it to him, flashes of white enter from the roof. You realise that it is the Order of the Pheonix, immediately starting a fight with the Death Eaters.

You quickly duck behind the rock, avoiding spells and curses being shot in every direction. You still didn’t understand why you had to be here, why did the Dark Lord want you here.

Nonetheless, you stay hidden, not like you could leave anyways, you hadn’t yet learnt how to apparate. You see Sirius dueling a Death Eater whose name you didn’t know come closer. You duck right on time, narrowly missing a Cruciatus curse that flew above your head. Unfortunately, you weren’t able to muffle a small surprised whimper and when Sirius knocked out the Death Eater, he walked around the rock and saw you.

Getting up immediately, you get your wand out, taking a step back,

“Y/N”, he whispers, “Why are- how are you here. You have to leave, come with me.” He puts his want down, coming closer to you.

“Don’t- don’t come closer”, you say, still holding your wand out in front of you.

“I’m- we’re sorry Y/N. Look I promise you won’t get in trouble, just come with me, it’ll be okay.”, he calmly says, taking small steps towards you.

“Stop. You’re lying, you don’t- no one cares about me. They care-”, you point to Draco’s dad and all the other death eaters fighting, “- they accepted me when you didn’t.”

“Y/N, this isn’t what your parents would’ve wanted for you. They aren’t good people, they hurt others.”

“You hurt me. You and everyone else hurt me. They didn’t. You, you and Harry and everyone else, you are the bad guys.” You are shouting at this point, tears falling down your cheeks.

Sirius looked around in desperation, trying to find someone who could help him convince you, but everyone else was busy, fighting.

When he looks back at you, he says a small sorry before hitting you with a spel you had never heard of. It was too fast for you to put up a shield and you felt yourself getting drowsy, falling to the floor. Just before you close your eyes, you see a bright green light hit Sirius, he crumples to the ground just as you go unconscious.

When you wake up, you find yourself back in your room. The one in Grimmauld Place. Blinking a few times before getting up, you change into the clothes places on your blanket. You squint at all the light and realise that it was the middle of day, the blinds were wide open. You quickly closed them before leaving the room, carefully making your way down the stairs.

You wanted to leave, but you were too tired, decided to take your chances with everyone else. You go downstairs and see that everyone is eating lunch. Harry is no where to be seen and everyone is more or less silent.

Molly Weasley, Ron’s mom, notices you and tells you to sit down, setting a plate full of food in front of you, waiting until you were done eating to start talking.

“I’m glad you are okay darling, we were all very worried.”

You nod, still confused, wondering why everyone was being nice to you.

You were in the corner, putting away your plate when Harry walks in. Turning around, you see him look at you before looking away, ignoring your existence. You turn back, closing the cupboard before heading up to your room. Just as you are about to leave the door, he grabs your wrist, you stop, knowing very well what was coming.

“This is all your fault.”

“Of course it is”, you reply back with sarcasm, rolling your eyes. “Nothing can ever be your fault can it? Always my fucking fault.”

“Sirius is de- he’s gone because of you. You- you killed him.”

“Yeah Harry. I’m the one that shot the killing curse at him. Sure!” You were tired of this, trying to pull your arm out of his grasp.

“What did you tell them. You’re the one who told them everything didn’t you? A fucking traitor.”

“That’s no ones fault but your own. Maybe if you had enough decency to treat your own sister as a human this wouldn’t have happened.” Quickly, you snatch your arm out and leave before he can talk to you again.

Rolling your eyes, you leave again, climbing up the stairs, feeling the deja vu. Something about that kitchen and you being in it must bring out the anger in Harry.

Grabbing a few galleons you found on the table in the room next door, you leave out the window once more. Funny, you’d thought they would at least be smarter to give you a different room.

You take the Knight Bus to Diagon Alley, and once you get there, you get a room at the inn before renting an owl from the post office. You send a quick letter to Draco, explaining that you had been taken back to Grimmauld Place and were now in Diagon Alley. You hoped that the letter would reach Draco and not anyone else, giving it to the owl before heading back to the room to rest for the night.

The next morning you head down to Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour to get some breakfast, treating yourself. You see someone reading the Daily Prophet and find out that Dumbledore was back and Umbridge had been removed, returning to her job in the Ministry.

When you get back to the lobby, you are informed that someone came looking for you and is in your room. Taking out your wand you cautiously walk up, letting out a huge sigh of relief when you see that it is Draco.

“Oh thank god.” He immediately pulls you in for a tight hug, giving a small kiss to your hair as he keeps you in his arms, not letting you move.

A couple minutes later he moves back, still holding on to your arms. “Are you okay? What happened?”

“I- Yeah. I- we- I was back at Grimmauld Place, I just left.”

“Did they hurt you? What happened? Father he- he said that you were with him and then you ran or like left and he couldn’t find you. He’s mad, he doesn’t want me to be near you.”

“I- He took me to the ministry. I was in this room and there were all these Death Eaters and they had Harry and all his friends and then Sirius and Remus and all of them came and started fighting.”

“What? Why were you with him there? Did he force you?”

“No, I uh, I talked to the dark lord during the summer brea-”

“What.”

“- I told him everything. He like looked at my memories and found out about Harry and Sirius and everything”, you continued, ignoring his interruption. You kept your eyes on the floor, not wanting to see his disappointment.

When he didn’t reply, you looked up, seeing that he was just staring at you. You couldn’t read his expression. “I’m sorry.”

“Why didn’t you tell me. I promised you that you would be safe at my house and you- you should’ve told me.” His voice was soft, but you could tell he wasn’t sure what to do, trying to hide his disappointment.

“You couldn’t have done anything. The dark lord would have done it anyways.”

“Stop- stop calling him that. He’s not your Dark Lord, just, just call him anything else.”

“‘K, sorry.”

“It’s okay.”

The two of you sit on the bed, he made sure to hold your hand in an attempt to show you that he wasn’t mad, just didn’t know what to do next. You knew as well as him that you couldn’t go back to Malfoy Manor. Thankfully you had enough money to last a couple weeks before you would go back to school.

“I- I care about you.” You can barely hear him, but it breaks the silence and for a second you’re confused.

“I care about you too?”

“No, not in a friend way, in- like a- I don’t know, a more than friends way.”

You are speechless. Did he really think that way? All this time? Did you think that way? Every single thought you’ve ever had about Draco goes through your head in a split second. All those times you’d looked at him, all the times you’d caught him looking at you. The way you smiled when he entered a room, the way he made your day brighter the moment he walked through your dorm door in the morning so that you could walk to breakfast together. He helped with homework, he let you talk and talk for hours without interrupting.

You remember all the times he has smiled, and how him smiling just cant help but make you happy. All the times he was sad, and how that made you sad. All of it results in a single realisation to dawn upon you. You liked him. Maybe even more than that, but you wouldn’t let yourself think that far.

“I’m sorry- shit. I- just forget I said anything it doesn’t matter.” He says hastily, getting up and smoothening his shirt. You didn’t realise you had been silent for more than a minute, blinking when you hear his voice, spanning out of your haze. “I’m just going to go then, you can send a le-”

“I care about you in a more than friends way too.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

He slowly broke out into a smile that covered his entire face. His eyes widened in disbelief and he almost laughed, so happy that his feelings were reciprocated.

You smile too, feeling giddy on the inside and outside. Before you knew it, he had grabbed your cheeks and kissed you.

You had never been kissed before, it was a surprise, but a welcome one. After the initial shock you kissed back, your arms wrapping behind his neck, pulling him in. What felt like hours later, you moved away, breathing hard, you were sure your lips were red but at that moment, nothing mattered, nothing except Draco.

Neither of you could stop smiling, staring at each other, memorising every inch of your faces, before leaning back in for a small kiss and repeating the cycle. He left later that night, promising to return soon. You would spend your nights waiting for him, finishing homework and buying everything you needed for your next year at Hogwarts. It would be a lot harder, granted, but with Draco officially being your boyfriend, you couldn’t help but wait for the year the start.

All of Draco’s so called “friends” were now spying on him, making sure that you and him weren’t seen together. They would report back to his father in a moment if you were caught. You were disappointed when Draco told you, the last night before you boarded the Hogwarts Express, but the two of you decided to stay together anyways, neither of you were new to sneaking around.

It made dating so much harder, and you were cursing yourself for not realising this last year, but it is what it is, and the two of you tried your best. You would often meet in the middle of the night in an empty classroom or the room of requirement. Draco had been spending a lot more time there, he claimed that it helped calm him down so you were more than happy when he asked you to go down there for the first time.

The room was extremely cluttered, with small items found in every corner. There was a small sofa where the two of you would sit and talk, away from any prying eyes. Occasionally, you would spend the night there, falling asleep together on the sofa only to hurriedly sneak back to your dorms in the early hours of the day.

One day, you decided to see what the room of requirement would look like if Draco wasn’t with you. You went during a free lesson and waited as the door opened. When you walked in, you realised that it was the exact same as all the times you spent with Draco. You look around a bit and notice a huge cupboard where the sofa usually was. When you walk to the other side, you see Draco.

He’s holding out his wand, whispering a spell and aiming it at the cupboard. He stops halfway through when he sees you.

“Y/N? What are you doing here?” He sounds shocked, talking fast to cover up whatever it was that you just saw. You open your mouth to reply but then notice something dark on his wrist. His sleeves had been rolled up and you quickly walk forward, grabbing his arm and flipping it, letting out a small gasp when you realise what it was. The dark mark.

“Draco.”

“I’m sorry. They made me. I’m- I have to find a way to get them in Hogwarts. I’m a death eater.” He talks fast, trying to get the words out, wanting you to hear everything before you left, or at least tried leaving.

“You’re what? Are you serious? Draco tell me you’re joking.”

He looks down, staring at his shoes to avoid your glare.

“You can’t actually be working for him. You could die!” You stare at him, worry and anger completely taking over your facial features.

He looks up. “Like you didn’t? You worked for him too, you almost died too.”

“That- that was a mistake and you know that Draco. I didn’t have much of a choice.”

“And I do?”

You open your mouth to reply but pause, knowing that if he had said no to the Dark Lord, he probably would have been killed. Draco catches your hesitation and closes his eyes for a second, calming down.

“See. I don’t, I’m stuck in this whether I- we like it or not.”

You nod and Draco quickly gives you a hug, kissing your shoulder over your t-shirt, promising you that it would be fine, he would stay safe.

You were worried out of your mind most of the time, watching him from a distance every time he would make an excuse to his friends, walking away and heading to the corridor that would take him to the room of requirement.

One night, you are walking through the hallways at night, when you see Draco. He wasn’t heading to the room of requirement, but somewhere else. Curious, you followed him. He stops around a corner and starts talking. You poke your head around the corner and realise that it was Bellatrix. It has worked, he had done it. Stifling a gasp, you turned, back pressed against the wall as they kept moving, towards Dumbledore’s office.

You wait outside, hidden in the darkness when all of a sudden the door opens and Draco comes out. Waiting for a few moments, you walk to him when no one else comes out. He was panting, holding his head in his arms as he walked around in circles. He looks up when he hears you, immediately tensing up in shock.

“You cant be here”, he whispers in an urgent tone, “you have to leave before-”

The door behind him opens again, and out comes Bellatrix, Draco’s dad and two more death eaters whose names you didn’t know.

“Shit.”

Bellatrix smirked when she saw you, walking towards you and grabbing your wrist, her nails digging into your skin.

“What made you think you could leave the great da-”

“Leave her alone.”

Looking behind her, you realise that it was Mr. Malfoy who has spoken. Bellatrix looks you up and down before releasing your wrist, leaving a couple drops of your blood behind from where her nails pierced through. She glares at Draco’s dad while leaving, forcing Draco and the other two death eaters to follow her.

You are left once more with Lucius Malfoy and he walks closer, lifts his chin up and looks down at you.

“The Dark Lord has decided to forgive you. Be thankful. Stay out of our way.” Within a second, he leaves, following his son out the room.

An hour later you were standing outside, beside Draco as everyone mourned the death of Albus Dumbledore

6th year. You were constantly on edge. Part of you was glad that you had been “forgiven” by Voldemort, at least you weren’t being tortured like all of Harry’s old friends. On the other hand, you were guilty, knowing that the only reason you were safe is because everyone thought you sided with him. You didn’t, you were scared and wanted to be safe. That’s all.

Snape became the headmaster and death eaters became the teachers. All you learnt was dark spells, with the occasional practical lesson where you would be forced to use what you learnt on the first and second year students. Every single time that happened, you found yourself back at your dorm, sobbing as Draco sat next to you, rubbing your back at an attempt to consolidate you.

He hated seeing you sad, knowing that he was partially the reason this was happening. You felt worse, wondering if you had just sucked it up and stayed at Grimmauld Place, this never would have happened.

Since you and Draco could openly date now, he was constantly kissing or touching you in some way or form. Whether it be holding hands or just his hand on your leg, he made sure you knew that he was there. And you were grateful. You weren’t sure how you would’ve made it through your 6th year without him. Often, you would help him study for his NEWTS, him returning the favour by helping you with your homework.

Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors would often stare at the both of you, sending looks of annoyance and hate, but as much as you wanted to, you couldn’t do anything.

“Just ignore them darling.”, Draco said one night when you told him about it. “They don’t understand. Even if we try to explain they won’t listen.”

You were discussing something you had heard from Pansy when a couple 5th years knocked on your dorm door.

“The headmaster requires everyone’s presence.”

Frowning, you and Draco get up, smoothening out your robes before heading out, joining the other Slytherins preparing to head downstairs. All four houses were stood there together, waiting for what Snape had to say.

“If anyone knows about the whereabouts of Harry Potter, step forward. Now.”

Murmurs break out all over. Harry Potter? Here? You stay silent, Draco was confused as well, so it was obvious something was wrong.

Just as Snape starts to threaten everyone once more, you see a student run out and stand in the middle. Upon close inspection, you realise that it was Harry. He was here?

Snape takes out his wand and points it as Harry, but before he has the opportunity to say a spell, almost every single Gryffindor comes and stands in front of him.

Behind you, the doors open and you find yourself looking at the Order of the Pheonix, you also go and stand in front. Essentially, Harry had almost 50 people between himself and Snape.

Professor Snape is still, figuring out what to do when you see Professor McGonagall move out and point her wand at Snape.

They break out into a duel, spells flying as all the students, including you, duck and stay on the side. Ultimately, Snape gives in, leaving through the window as McGonagall smiles in pride.

You grasp onto Draco’s hand as the entire hall breaks into talk, celebrating the fact that Snape was gone. All of a sudden, a girl from Hufflepuff screams, covering her ears. Soon everyone else can hear it too. Voldemort.

“Give me Harry Potter.” Voldemort repeats that again and again, promising safety and mercy to everyone should it be done before the clock strikes midnight.

You hear a fellow housemate in front of you complain after Voldemort is done.

“Just give him to Voldemort. What does he even matter.”, she shrieks.

All the other houses protest immediately, throwing insults your way as McGonagall tries to restore decorum. When she finally succeeds, she provides a solution. A solution to her anyway.

“The Slytherins are to be sent to the dungeon.” Professor McGonagall announces. Her statement is followed by another round of applause from all the other houses. Your house is forced down, following Filch, back to your common room as everyone else prepares to fight. Partially, you were glad, you knew that if you were up there, you and Draco would have been forced to fight. You prefer the scorn of your school compared to the thought that Draco might get hurt.

The blasts and shouting could be heard all the way in the dungeon. Most of you sat in the common room, waiting for someone to come get you, waiting for some news. You and Draco are sitting together on the couch, you resting your head on his shoulder as you watch the flames dance in front of you.

A while later, everything went silent, everyone looked to the door expectantly. Filch came a few minutes later and the Slytherins were let out of the dungeon, and you grabbed Draco’s and and ran, getting back up to ground level.

You head to the Great Hall, seeing dozens of students injured, some even dead. Stifling a sob when you see a couple friends lying in the stretchers, you run away, not wanting to look at all the blood and gore anymore. Draco follows, letting you cry into his shoulder as he keeps kissing your forehead, feeling the exact same thing as you. Not 5 minutes later, you hear a bunch of people leaving the hall.

Walking outside to see what was going on, you gape when you realise that it was Harry in Hagrid’s arms. He wasn’t moving, he looked dead. Next to him was Voldemort, laughing as he celebrated the death of the only person who could kill him.

Spotting you and Draco, he beckons the two of you to his side. Draco moves almost immediately, not wanting to anger the dark lord.

“What are you-”

“Come with me.”

Feeling the gaze of everyone on your back, you follow Draco, quietly joining the ranks of death eaters. The dark lord stops Draco, giving him an awkward hug as you watch with bated breath, before releasing him and letting him walk and stand beside you.

As Voldemort continues his monologue, Draco slips his hand between yours, and you grasp on to his hand tightly, conveying to him every single emotion you were feeling at that moment.

“It’s okay. We’ll be fine.” He tries his best to be reassuring, but you can hear the tremble in his voice.

He turns to you, about to add more, but all of a sudden theres a lot of commotion at the front. You stand on your toes, trying to see what was happening.

“Oh my god.” Harry was alive, blasting spells everywhere, trying to run from Voldemort who was sending just as many back at him.

Everyone scatters, death eaters attempting to help Voldemort as all your classmates from Hogwarts do their best to stop them. You feel Draco nudging your shoulder through all the chaos.

“Come, now’s our chance, we have to go.”

“We have to help them fight.” You respond stubbornly, wanting to stop anyone else from dying.

“They don’t want our help. There’s nothing we can do, we have to leave, now.”

You look back, seeing everyone fighting, Hogwarts burning behind them. Then you look at Draco, his eyes are urging you to accept his outstretched hand. He looks back at his parents, who are waiting for the two of you to join them and leave.

Closing your eyes for a second, you place your hand in his and then run with him, catching up to his parents before apparating away, back to Malfoy Manor where you would be safe and happy, with Draco.

10 years later...

You follow Draco through King’s Cross, holding on to your son’s hand as Draco holds on to your daughter’s. He’s pushing her trunk in front of him, looking back occasionally to make sure you hadn’t gotten lost.

There were hundreds of wizards and witches on the platform, half of them crying and waving as their children board the Hogwarts Express. Draco quickly places the trunk in a pile near the train and walks back to you.

Your daughter is almost jumping in excitement, quickly saying bye to the two fo you before running into the train. You roll your eyes and smile, walking towards the train and talking to her through the window.

“Remember to write okay? We’ll send you letters every week, and remember to go to all your classes and if you feel even a little bit sick go to-”

“Yes mum, Madam Pomfrey, you’ve told me already.”

“Ok good and remember-”

“I remember, don’t worry. I want to go find somewhere to sit now.”

“Ok then, bye, we’ll see you during winter break.”

“Bye mum! Bye dad!”, she shouts, looking behind you and waving at your husband. Without any hesitation, she runs away, looking for people to make friends with.

You chuckle before heading back to Draco, who has your son in his arms. The two of you stay on the platform, watching as the train rolls out of the station.

“We did good.”, you whisper.

“Yeah.” he replies, looking down at your son and then back at your daughter through the window. “We did.”

Ours Poetica Review

By Rafe Poem By Zeeskeit 'Punchline' First draft

Questions: How did you find the poem? Quote your Three Favorite parts and Four Relatable parts and why. How does it affect your look on poems? Why do you like it? I found it through a friend during our poetry night, suggesting I should read a poem from a fanfic saying it was a two-voice poem, the main character and a character in his slam group. I like this poem due to relating a lot to it. There is a few quotes in particular that I relate too being 'You are most at home in the rusted static of a voice-mail, in runaway goodbyes and hello's at arms length' the reason being that my father is rarely home constantly not answering his phone unless it's late that leading to the next one, 'Your father does not stay home;' he's at work for weeks on end I only see him for two or three weeks in a month due to logging being his job. The next one I relate being, 'When you were ten, you could block out anything with the hums of a video game cartige slotted into a gameboy... Tv static. Yelling. Window shatter. Slammed doors., now you've traded pixels with sweated bedsheets and empty cups cemented to desktops' well this one explains itself. For the fourth it would be 'You don't clean your room content to live pigsty.' It took me half a year to genuinly clean my room constantly being told by my mother to clean it, I ended up rearanging it aswell. How does it affect my look on poems. It's a style haven't read much of having raw emotion and being written longer then most poems I have read aswell. Three favorite parts being 'You take while knowing you could never teach your hands what it means to be full, hours spent clinging to the phone waiting for your friends to call just to never pick up. You are most at home in the rusted static of a voice-mail, in runaway goodbyes and hello's at arms length and so I ask for a drink. Take a shot.' being for the obvious reason of relating to it but it is a well written sentence. Two being 'You snap a wisecrack across your knee and tell your friends about the siblings you will never know, poking fun at empty bedrooms concuered by dust and distance. On bad nights you lay outside the threshold and slide your smallest finger underneath the doorway, Cuticles carpet-burned and pink, imagining someone elses nail-bed just within reach. Take a shot.' It's heartwarming to know even though his two siblings left and rarely spoke to him he still went to the empty bedrooms. Three, 'And your afraid, Afraid that one day you are going to look in the mirror- and see that you look exactly like him, the last revenants of your relationship found in the color of you eyes, the strands of your hair. Self loathing tells you to burn it off. Conciousness tells you this is a trick mirror. I want to tell you that this is all a trick, one elaborate prank. A joke. Because the punchline has to have hit alreadry. Because the funny friend is still performing.. and no one is laughing. Of course..Because how can I be the funny friend if i'm not constantly cauterizing my wounds into a stand up routine? Because I am still performing and no one is laughing and the bottle is empty. Take.A.Shot.' This is an amazing part that I absolutely love. How self loathing and conciousness have their own voices to be known and shown to be there. Punchline was indeed well written and I love all of Zeeskeits works that I have read.

Tape to tape - Chap. 2

All credits for the world & the characters for @lumosinlove. I’m kind of sad that SW is ending but luckily there’s still Coast to coast left and 12 days of ficmas isn’t far away.

I wrote this fic(of a fic) before the last chapter was out. In case someone hasn’t read it yet, I won’t tell any details but I have to admit that the ending was far better than I could have hoped for. I was literally jumping up and down after reading that❤️

In the three months that Sirius had known Remus they had gotten pretty close. Sirius had to admit that he enjoyed being with Remus but he was rather surprised that Remus seemed to also like his company. You see, Remus was one of those people who was rather popular with his peers. Remus had adjusted to the team quickly and found his place easily. Of course there were some people who didn’t like him but he didn’t care about them. Luckily Remus had found his place within the better people in Sirius’s opinion.

Sirius on the other hand couldn’t usually come along with people like him. Or rather people like him didn’t like Sirius’s closed off nature. Remus seemed to be an exception. They had spent a lot of time with each other in practice and school as they shared the same French class and usually paired together in training and he hadn’t (yet) gotten sick of him.

Autumn was finally starting to blend into winter with temperatures dropping and sun rising later each day. This also meant Sirius’s birthday was getting closer. He didn’t really enjoy his birthday as it didn’t come with any special occasion in his family. Somehow his parents seemed to be even more annoyed by him around his birthday which resulted in Sirius getting a few punches more than usually. Especially his father seemed to consume rather impressive amounts of alcohol around this time as well.

Previous years he hadn’t had anyone who genuinly wanted to wish him happy birthday and pay attention towards him. Of course his teammates wished him happy birthday but they didn’t really notice his sullen mood and certainly didn’t bug him about it.

”Sirius, are you sure you are okay? It’s just that you seem a little quieter today than you usually are.” Sirius was stretching in the gym with Remus. They had already figured this routine that worked well for them. They both liked to stay and stretch well before showering so why not do it together?

”Yes. I’m fine.” Sirius answer came out maybe a little harsh but on his defence he was tired and just wanted to get to his bed and sleep. This wasn’t the first time Remus had asked the question and somehow it was getting harder and harder not to lose his temper.

”Okay, I believe you. I was thinking, we could maybe do the run together that we are supposed to do over the weekend. Since your birthday is on Sunday maybe tomorrow?” Remus asked.

”I think you should go alone this weekend. I’m going to be pretty busy.” Sirius said while l lying on his back and stretching his thigh.

”Oh. That’s alright.” Remus sounded a little upset and they sat in silence for a few moments.

”Are you really fine Sirius? I mean you just seem-”

”YES! I am fine, Remus! Just stop asking. Please.” Sirius let out a shout. He closed his eyes and sighed little. What are you doing? He is just worried. Sirius rose from the ground and walked to the locker room for the showers. He hoped Remus would say something but the silence wasn’t broken.

One shower later Sirius packed up his gear and headed outside. After a quiet drive Sirius opened stepped inside his home. He tried to be as quiet as possible getting to his room but apparently he wasn’t quiet enough. He heard his father calling for him from his office. Sirius knew he had no choice as he slowly turned and headed for the office.

When Sirius gained his consciousness the first thing he registered was how much his head was pounding. The second thing was how his back ached. The third thing he registered was the bunch of little sniffs he was hearing. He felt how something tickled his nose.

Sirius opened his eyes to see a tiny black puppy with wet eyes on his bed with him. It was sniffing at him before it curled up next to his head. They looked at each other for a while before Sirius properly processed what he was seeing. He slowly raised his hand to pet the little ones head. The puppy let out a tiny whine and pushed against his hand.

After a few pets Sirius started to wonder how the puppy had gotten there. That startled him awake. He was sure that he had locked his door before he had passed out here.

He rushed to turn around to see the whole room and search for any danger. When he looked at the door it was still closed and locked. Wait. Can this puppy teleport or something?

In the soft glow of the desk lamp Sirius’s eyes landed on the boy sitting on his desk looking at him. He frowned. How did Remus get in here?

”If you are wondering how I got here, I climbed through your window. And no, no one saw me. It is already dark outside.” Remus said quietly.

Sirius coughed before answering. ”I see.”

Remus looked at Sirius face. Sirius knew that he propably looked bad. He could tell that he had at least a black eye and his lip was split. There might be other bruises but he wasn’t sure.

Remus got up from his place on the table and walked into Sirius’s bathroom. Sirius could hear the sink being turned on and a while later Remus emerged with a wet cloth in his hand. He sat next to Sirius, scooped up the puppy from his side and dumped it onto Sirius’s lap.

”It wants attention. Can you pet her?” Remus asked as he raised the cloth to wipe at Sirius’s lip. Sirius’s breath hitched at the contact but he still started to pet the little puppy on his lap.

They stayed quiet while Remus cleaned his face from blood. After he was done he got up to take the cloth back to the bathroom. Sirius concentrated on the puppy and holding it close.

”You don’t have to talk about it. You don’t have to lie to me, but remember that I am here.” Remus said quietly when he came back. Sirius lifted his gaze from the floor to see Remus looking at him.

”I- umm…” Sirius hadn’t talked about this before with anyone. He trusted Remus with his whole heart but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to bear Remus with the knowledge of it.

”I’m not sure if I can.” Sirius’s voice was shaky when he spoke.

Remus nodded understanding. ”You don’t have to. But if you change your mind I’ll be here. Always.”

”Thank you Remus.” Sirius scooted to lay against the wall with the puppy on his lap. It had gotten comfortable to Sirius’s presence by now so it was play-attacking his hand and whipping its tale around uncontrollably. He felt the bed dip with Remus weight as he got up to retrieve something from his jacket’s pocket.

While Remus wasn’t looking at him, Sirius let himself tear up a bit. He finally felt like the universe was paying back for all the shit it had given him over the years. He had finally found someone who cared about him, and who Sirius cared for as well. He hadn’t known this was something he needed but now that he had it he didn’t know how he had survived without it. Now he couldn’t help but dream about more.

Sirius quickly wiped his eyes as Remus sat next to him. He took the puppy from him but exchanged it with a little present.

Sirius’s eyes shot up. ”Happy birthday Sirius.” Remus said with a small smile.

”Oh, you didn’t have to get me anything.” Sirius answered little unsure of how to handle this situation. He hadn’t received gifts in years.

”I know but I wanted to. Now, go on. Open it.” Remus assured Sirius while holding eye contact.

Sirius whispered an okay and proceeded to carefully unwrap the present. He let out a wet laugh when he saw that the wrapping paper was hockey themed.

Inside the wrapping paper Sirius discovered three chocolate bars. One was regular, other one was dark chocolate and the third one was filled with mint chips. Sirius was tearing up again.

”I wasn’t sure what you liked but I thought, how wrong can I go with chocolate?” Remus laughed a little worried as Sirius didn’t say anything. ”These are from my favourite brand. If you like these, we’ll have to try their special winter edition. They change the formula every year, you know. I heard rumours that this year they’d do one with gingerbread.” Remus started rambling as Sirius still just stared at the chocolates.

”I- Thank you, Remus. This is the best present I have ever gotten.” Sirius glanced at Remus.

Remus flushed a little. ”Oh. Well good. Though I doubt this is the best one you’ve got-”

”Trust me. It is.” Sirius said and opened the regular chocolate bar. He broke off two pieces and handed one to Remus.

After they had eaten a couple pieces in silence Sirius opened his mouth looking at the puppy now asleep on Remus’s chest. ”So. I didn’t know you had gotten a puppy.”

Remus petted the puppy and smiled. ”This one actually isn’t our own. You know my parents are vets, right?” Sirius nodded. ”Well, now that we have fully adjusted to life here they have gotten back to their usual antics. When we lived in the States they used to bring sick animals and ones that needed to be fostered back home all the time. They had to take a brake from that hobby for a while but yesterday they brought this little guy home. He was found on the side of a highway abandoned.” At that Sirius frowned worriedly and Remus grabbed the puppy gently and laid it on Sirius chest. The puppy nuzzled contedly and fell back asleep.

”After I couldn’t reach you all day I decided to come check on you. When I got up to leave she woke up as well and wanted to come outside with me. I didn’t want her to wake the whole house up with her small barks so I just scooped her up and put her in my pocket for the walk.” Remus told him.

”My phone must have died. I’m sorry I didn’t contact you. I didn’t know you even wanted to reach me.” Sirius muttered.

Remus shook his head. ”If you think I the little argument we had after practice is enough to scare me away, you are very wrong. And stop apologizing. It’s not your fault.”

”I’m sorry, I’ll stop-” Sirius was quick to apologize.

”Sirius!”

”I’m sorry- NO, I mean okay. I’ll stop.” Sirius stammered.

Remus laughed a little. ”Okay. Good.”

They continued talking for about half an hour after that. They talked mostly about puppies to avoid any uncomfortable subjects. The clock was nearing 3 a.m.

Sirius yawned loudly.

”I think I should go. We should both propably get some sleep.” Remus yawned as well.

Sirius stretched under the covers. ”We propably should.” And threw his hand over his eyes.

Remus rose from his place where he was sitting on top of the covers. Sirius watched him walk over to his desk and put his jacket on. After that he reached inside his pocket where he pulled a dark brown beanie that he put on his head.

Remus turned around eyeing Sirius suspiciously. ”Where is the puppy?”

Sirius cracked a smile at that. ”I don’t know what you are talking about. I haven’t seen any puppies lately.”

Remus walked over to him and suspected his form beneath the covers. Sirius knew what he was looking for but he still blushed a little. Remus grabbed one corner of the blanket covering Sirius and yanked it off of him. Sirius quickly turned to cover the puppy sleeping near his side. Sirius started to laugh as Remus tried to reach the puppy but ended up tickling him. Remus smiled brightly at the sound but despite that he dove on top of Sirius to reach the puppy. He managed to grab her and turned with a wolfy grin towards Sirius. They both froze at that since their noses were almost touching each other.

”You found the puppy.” Sirius breathed out.

”That I did.” Remus said as he rose from the bed. He composed himself quickly before turning back towards Sirius who was pulling the covers back on. Remus held the puppy in front of Sirius’s face and smiled a little. ”Say bye. Now you’ll at least have a reason to start visiting.”

The corners of Sirius’s mouth lifted as he looked at the puppy. ”True. I’ll have to come see this little one.”

Remus slid the puppy into one of his coat’s inside pockets and walked up to the window. On the way he shut off the lamp leaving the room to be lighted up by the moon. He opened the window and raised one of his legs onto the other side.

Sirius took a breath in. ”Remus, thank you. For the chocolate. And for bringing the puppy.”

”It’s alright. I hoped you’d like them.” Remus said quietly. ”Good night. Text me when you wake up.” ”Good night.” Sirius whispered as Remus climbed out the window and slid it shut. Sirius burrowed deeper underneath the covers and let his eyes close. In the quiet darkness Sirius noticed how he could still smell the puppy and a slight tint of chocolate.

That night Sirius didn’t dream of pain and flying punches but of brown curls peaking out beneath a beanie and small puppies. When he woke up he wasn’t sure if last night was real but at the sight of chocolate on his desk he let out a relieved sigh.

Chocolate really is good no matter what time you are eating it. He thought as he munched on a piece while texting Remus.

Don’t Tell Dimitri — Claude x Reader

Summary: It was after one of the monthly missions that Byleth had asked you to assist with the Golden Deer. Your lance skills were remarkable enough to have Claude manipulating Byleth into asking for your help. However, Claude’s reasons to do so were others rather than just your strength and skill.

A/N: I went for F!Byleth instead of Gender Neutral Byleth, as I originally intended. I’ve been playing far too long with F!Byleth, I sometimes forgt M!Byleth is a thing too XD forgive me. Also, I’ve been loving the Golden Deer route, although I’ve got to admit, I miss my Blue Lions :c Anyways, I hope you enjoy this.

Also! I headcannon Byleth to be a cheeky little shit. Everytime I have the opportunity to answer with any sarcastic/smartass answer, I go for that one. So, my perception of Byleth is heavily influenced by it. I apologize if you eadcanon Byleth to be more of a composed/serious character.

How bad things would go if someone ever found out Claude's teeny tiny crush on Dimitri's younger sister? The princess of Faerghus. Being roughly a year younger than both Claude and Dimitri, skill wise, you weren't in any way behind them.

In fact, from a young age, you showed great skill with a lance, despite your lack of Crest. You waved your lance with such precision as if it were both a third arm and your dominant hand. With such grace and skill you waved any lance, making it hard to believe you lacked a Crest.

That skill was what first caught Claude's attention. However, your laid back personality and sharp tongue amused him like very few things in life did. However, he could see through the cheerful mask you wore to cope with the horrible past you and Dimitri had been through.

"Say, Teach" Claude said walking up to Byleth who was attentively watching you train with Felix. "Don't you think we'll need a little help for our mission at the end of the month?"

"I can't believe you are admitting our lack of skill, Claude. It pains me, really" Byleth snapped sarcastically at once "I'm sorry I can't be the Professor you deserve" She continued, knowing it would either annoy Claude or amuse him.

"Oi, no one said anything about you as a professor" Claude chuckled corresponding to Byleth's sarcasm "I was just merely stating a possibility…"

"Why are you here, Claude? I know its not because you want to train. I rarely see you doing anything productive at all on a Sunday" The professor remarked as Claude laughed softly.

"Alright, you got me, I'll cut the bullshit"

"Language, kid" Byleth chuckled rather amused by hearing kids use curse words.

"Those two are very tough on the battlefield. That first mock battle we had, I swear to the goddess, for a second I thought we were done for when I fought against her…" Claude recalled as Byleth nodded, remembering how Claude barely could dodge your fierce moves.

"You're suggesting that I should ask for their help for our next mission, is that right?"

"To be honest, Felix kinda scares me a bit" Claude admitted "He's so short fused, I'm afraid he ends up stabbing me instead if I do something to upset him. [Name] however...she's cool, funny, she laughs at my jokes. She's much more laid back than her brother. And at the same time, she's a killing machine with a lance"

"Is it just me or do I smell your hormones all over me?" Byleth chuckled, looking at Claude, trying to see his reaction, however, the young man simply shrugged. “You could either genuinly care for this girl, or you just want to get on Dimitri’s nerve, which one is it? Or is it both?” Byleth teased.

"Say what you want, Teach. Tease me to your heart's contempt. But rest assure, you'll remain my favorite lady in this monastery…"

"Good, I was worried that you might replace me for her" Byleth replied sarcastically.

"Me? Never! Who do you think I am?" Claude giggled mischievously.

"The Claudster" Byleth smiled back at her student before looking back at Felix swinging his sword swiftly as you effortlessly stopped each and every one of his attacks "Alright, I'll ask for her help after she's done training"

By the end of the month, on your way to the battlefield, Claude and you didn't stop giggling and whispering things to one another. The two of you looked like elementary kids plotting something. But that same behavior helped camouflage Claude's feelings for you, as people thought you two were just friends. Some believed you were close to you just to piss Dimitri off. Either way worked to mask the secret Claude so desperately wanted to hide.

The mission wasn't particularly hard. But maybe it was because you were there giving a helping hand. A very helpful one. However, things of course wouldn't be as good after the Golden Deer had won the war.

While saving Claude's back while he was busy shooting an arrow, you'd twisted your ankle throwing your lance at a thief running towards Claude, ready to slash his back with a sword.

Claude helped you walk, holding one of your arms around his shoulders and one of his arms around your waist.

"I definitely owe you big time" Claude said, grateful that you'd saved his life.

"Oh, normally I wouldn't ask you to return favours, but I will ask for this one back" you joked, laughing, trying to mask the unbearable pain on your ankle.

"You better don't tell Dimitri about this" Claude laughed, knowing your brother would be particularly amused with Claude getting his sister injured.

"I don't know, it'd be a good way to blackmail you" You joked.

Once back at the camp, Marianne took a look at your ankle. Working a little bit of magic, it soon stopped aching and it no longer was swollen.

"I-I'm so sorry, [Name]. I can't completely cure you ankle. It'll no longer hurt, but you'll still need to rest" The shy girl mumbled too fast and too low, it was hard for you to properly listen to her.

"It's cool. You already did a lot" You tried reassuring her "The pain was the worst part. Thank you Marianne" You smiled.

"Teach, what now?" Claude asked Byleth as she sat next to you, looking at your ankle "It's almost sunset. We won't be able to be back at the monastery before nightfall"

"We leave tomorrow morning. It is dangerous to wander at night" Byleth answered standing up and walking to her tent. "Especially considering one of us isn't in the best condition to fight if we run into something"

The moon was almost at its highest point in the night sky. The campsite, dark and silent, as only the echoes of Raphael's loud snoring. And Claude was unable to fall asleep. Not because of Raphael, it wasn't the first time they camped, the snoring had never been a problem.

His mind was restless with the thought of you being asleep a couple of tents away from his. In an in impulsive thought he could not ignore, he left his tent and walked across the camp stealthily until he reached your tent.

"[Name]" He whispered. She's asleep, you jerk...He told himself after whispering your name a second time. "[Name]"

The fabric shook gently as you popped your head out of the tent.

"Why the hell are you still up?" You whispered a scream.

"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" The boy asked.

"Not at all"

"What?" Claude raised an eyebrow as a smirk spread through his face "Why the hell are you still up?"

"Don't use my lines against me, smartass" You giggled "Wanna come in?"

Claude tried not to answer right away and instead waited a couple of seconds as if he was considering it.

"Sure" he shrugged.

You sat on your sleeping bag as Claude kneeled inside your tent and sat next to you.

"So? What brings you here?" You said leaning back, resting your weight on one of your arms.

"Couldn't sleep. And I heard noises coming from your tent" he lied, since you hadn't been making any noise whatsoever, but didn't question his words. "Wanna hang out while either of us gets sleepy?"

"Sounds good to me" You shrugged.

"Thank you for saving me today. Or...yesterday. whatever" He said frowning softly. "Thank you"

"Don't thank me Claude. I was merely doing my part, thats it" you said as your fingers reached his earring. "I like it, it suits you"

"Thank you, darling" he smirked leaning into your touch and shrugging softly "You're tickling me"

"I didn't know you were ticklish" You giggled, smiling mischievously.

"[Name], no!" Claude chuckled holding your wrist tightly as you tried to sneak it to his neck. "If we wake anyone up we'll be in trouble"

"Since when do you care about getting in trouble?" You snapped as Claude looked at you with a stare you knew it only meant trouble.

"True" He hissed as he moved closer to you.

"No" You said once you noticed his menacingly stare as his hands quickly found their way to your neck and sides "Stop! Claude!" you tried to keep your giggles under control as Claude was the one tickling you now. "We'll get in trouble" You whispered a scream.

"Sorry, don't care" He whispered back at you as his fingers kept roaming, tickling you, trapping you in a torturous laugh.

"Claude!" You cried.

"Alright, fine" He was giggling as he stopped "Whatever Her Highness commands" He chuckled as you caught your breath.

"Claude?" You whispered, still panting softly.

"Yes, [Name]?" With a pleased cheeky smirk, he looked at you, his gorgeous green eyes meeting yours.

His heart stopped for a second once he realized what kind of look you were giving him. Your eyes were beginning to look sleepy, and yet, they scanned his face slowly. He noticed the particular way your stare would stop on his eyes and his lips.

Taking the hint, he leaned closer, slowly, giving you time to decide what happened next. At first, you didn't move, and the tip.of your.noses brushed softly, as he kept looking at you.

In a barely audible voice, you whispered his voice before closing your eyes. Once Claude saw his cue, he leaned in, closing in the space between the both of you. His lips met yours.

It started as a shy simple kiss that quickly heated up after you locked your lips with him. At first, the both of you awkwardly trying to adjust to each other's rhythm. But once you managed, the both of you lost yourselves in it.

With your heart on your throat, you clung to Claude, wrapping your arms around his neck and gripping his hair. At the same time, Claude wrapped one of his arms around your back and squeezed you against his, while he rested his weight on his free hand.

Finally, you broke the kiss, the both of you breathless, panting lowly. Claude bumped his forehead against yours as the both of you remained motionless.

"Let's not tell Dimitri about this" You panted as Claude nodded.

"Agreed" He whispered, looking into your eyes for a brief second before leaning closer to steal another kiss from you.

The Last Descendant (Sam Winchester x Reader) pt.3

Summary for pt.3.: Michael left Dean’s body but it’s not quite the time to celebrate just yet. The archangel has already destroyed the planet in one reality and he intends to do the same in yours. To the younger Winchester’s astonishment, you may be a key person in preventing another apocalypse... the question is, are you willing to help?

Turns out that Mary and Bobby did have a lead, although Dean didn’t quite need saving. It seems as if Michael just left his body. Naturally, nobody dares to believe this will have no consequences in the future, but currently they are too relieved to think about anything like that. And too focused on the unfolding situation. They’ve discovered a mark on Dean’s arm and Cas has gone through his memories to find the thing that left it. According to a small shred of a memory, the spear of Kaia Nieves’ doppelganger from the bad place is the weapon which was able to harm the infamous archangel. This is why he wants it. Which means the Winchesters need to get it first. But their encounter with Dark Kaia doesn’t go as planned – she refuses to give them the spear and disappears.

Sam opens up a beer for Dean, Cas and himself in the war room, while Jack is doing some research besides them.

„I’m telling you, man, that chick is a savage! Next time you’ll join us, okay? There’s no way she’ll be able to take on two grown-ass men and an angel at once.” Dean grumbled to Cas after taking a sip from the bottle.

„Well, she’s successfully managed to take on two grown-ass men already, I’m not so sure the difference would be huge with a third party.” Sam comments, earning a glare from Dean.

„Don’t be a buzz kill, Sam, okay? We’ll find her and that time, we’ll take that damn spear at all costs.”

„What if…” suddenly Jack speaks up „ …what if I say I might know a better solution? One that only requires taking it temporarily?”

„That’s the plan, Jack. We take it, kill Michael, then return it.” Cas responds before anyone could react.

„No, I mean take it for an even shorter period of time than that?”

The three men stare at him with the same completely puzzled expressions on their faces.

„Whatcha got in mind, kid?” Dean asks curiously.

Jack’s eyes light up and his signature childlike smile appears.

„I’ve been reading a lot about this man called Samuel Colt lately. I know he made that gun of yours which can kill almost anything and-”

„Yeah, but if you really read a lot on him, you know it can’t kill an archangel.” Sam cuts in. Jack patiently listens to his argument then goes on.

„I know, that’s why I said almost. But here is this book I’m reading now... It mentions that Colt secretly had a son that kept his bloodline alive. Maybe we can find his offspring and have them replicate the weapon.”

The Winchesters’ eyes widen in surprise, leaving Castiel to be the only reasonable person in the room.

„This is great, Jack, it really is, but I’m not sure if the offspring even knows who their ancestor was or what he did. To be honest, I highly doubt they would be able to perform what you described.” he says.

„Well, if there is anyone who can help us with some information, it’s Ketch.” Sam responds excitedly, immediately reaching for his laptop.

The next fifteen minutes pass without a single word being uttered by any of them - the only sound is made by the rubber band Dean attempts to entertain himself with. Finally, the laptop signals the arrival of a new e-mail. Everybody gathers around Sam, eager to see what Ketch has come up with. It’s a link to a Men of Letters shared drive. Sam’s hand is almost trembling as he clicks to open it. The screen floods with different articles, pictures and journal entries about people who are somehow connected to Samuel Colt.

„OH MY GOD!” the younger Winchester yells out in shock as they reach the part about the offspring currently alive. He is hypnotized by your picture taken at just fourteen years old, only days before your family was slaughtered and you disappeared.

Dean and Cas look at each other, then Sam.

„Sam? Do you know this girl?” Dean asks calmly as he can see how deeply his brother is affected by the sight appearing on the screen. Before he could reply, Jack jumps in.

„Hey…isn’t this the girl that spent a few nights here? I was in my room a lot, because I didn’t want to bother you, but I really do think she looked like this little girl in the picture, you know, only older.” he asks innocently. This seems to snap Sam back to reality. And Dean’s expression of utter disbelief helps too, of course.

„I was possessed by an archangel and you took some chick here to hook up with?! Man, this feels like Elwood, Indiana all over again, when I was abducted by fairies and you had a one-night stand with a hippie chick! The only difference is that now you supposedly have a soul!” he shouted.

„Relax, dude! Nothing like that happened, okay? Due to an unfortunate series of events, she had to crash here for a few days. And just so you know, she helped with research on Michael.” Sam seems genuinly offended even by the mere thought of him hooking up with a woman instead of looking for his brother. In spite of the woman being as fierce, beautiful and smart as you…

„Research, huh? Is that what you call it nowadays?”

„Dean.”

„Okay, okay. Say, I believe you. But how did you two meet anyways? Did you hit another dog?”

„DEAN!”

„Okay, I’m done.”

„So, what are we gonna do now? We have no clue where this girl or Dark Kaia are.” Cas interrupts the bickering between the two brothers.

„We call Jody, have her put out an APB on them, simple as pie.” Dean says matter-of-factly.

„Why put out an APB on Y/N if I can just call her?” Sam asks smugly.

You close the diner’s door and instantly spot Sam. Not because of his height, but rather because he has a certain presence you’ve grown to know and would be able to recognize anywhere. He smiles at you as you approach him.

„Sam Winchester, in flesh and… clothes? Odd.” you greet him.

„Ha ha, very funny. How long am I gonna listen to this? It happened only once and I was drunk.” he waits for you to put down your helmet and leather jacket, then hugs you tight. The whole interaction lasts longer than it usually does between friends, but shorter than between people more than that.

„Well, just as long as my memory serves me well.” you answer when he lets go and you are able to breathe fresh air into your lungs. You have always found his scent and proximity intoxicating in a way.

You sit down across him in the booth and decide to get straight to the point.

„You know, I gotta be honest with you. I got a little worried when you called last night. I mean, don’t get me wrong, you know I enjoy our phone calls, but we never speak twice the same day… and then the request for this little meet up didn’t help either. So… what’s up?”

Before he has the chance to say anything, the waitress appears to take your orders.

„I’d like an espresso and there will be a vanilla latte for the lady with almond milk and sweetener, thanks.” Sam delivers your favorite type of coffee without batting an eye.

„Nice, Winchester! I didn’t know you memorized it.”

„Yeah, I did. But you know, there’s one thing I can’t quite recall that you told me…” he puts down a folder infront of you. You look at him confused but flip over the cover regardlessly. Your heart sinks as you take in the picture you thought you’d never see again and read the title ’Last living descendant: COLT, Y/N’. Your heartbeat and mind start to race frantically, not a single sensible sentence comes to you for long seconds that seem like an eternity to both of you.

„Where’d you get this?” you ask, your voice sounding strange even to you.

„Doesn’t matter. Why didn’t you tell me, Y/N?” either you’re imagining it, or he looks a little bit hurt.

„What was I supposed to say, Sam? Huh? Thanks for saving me man, oh, and by the way, my real name’s Colt, but pinky swear you’ll never tell anyone?!” your voice comes back and maybe even rises a little.

„I don’t know, okay?! But you had plenty of chances!” his tone matches yours. A couple of people turn around, hoping to see a good little public confrontation unfold, but your cold stare makes them uncomfortable and they quickly look away.

„Oh yeah? Like when?”

„Like when I asked you about the vampire blade! Or when I-„ he hesitates for a moment then says it out loud anyways „ Or when I held you at nights.” he looks directly into your eyes and you can’t bring yourself to break the connection.

„Well I’m sorry, Sam, I really am. But you know something? Ever since I can remember, my family and I were moving to another part of this continent every six months for safety reasons. All the things that haunted my father in hopes of revenge or just to exploit our legacy never rested and consequently we didn’t either. After my family… died, I decided I didn’t wanna live that way. I was sick and tired of running. So, I pulled a Houdini, dropped the name and settled down. Made a living by carrying on the family tradition. I just wanna live in peace and quiet, keeping up my disguise. And telling people my secret isn’t exactly the high defintion of that.”

„I thought I wasn’t just ’people’.”

You open your mouth to reply, but the diner’s door opens once again and Sam stands up, his expression changes in a matter of seconds. You take this as an alarming sign, and you stand right nex to him.

„Dean! I thought we had an agreement.” Sam says exaspiratedly.

„Dean? As in, your brother Dean?”

„Yeah.” he responds instead of Sam „Pleasure.” he says curtly.

„Same here. And who would this gentleman be?” you turn to the man in the trenchcoat.

„I am Castiel, Sam and Dean’s… heavenly associate, if you know what I mean.”

Oh, you know very well what he means. And he must pay for that dearly.

You run a quick estimation in your head and decide to take out Dean first as he seems the most dangerous. Nobody expects your reaction, so using the element of surprise, you kick Dean in the abdomen and in the process, you take out your knife from your boot. If Sam isn’t fast enough, you stab the angel right in the heart, but he grabs you from behind and turns you around so that he could stand as a human shield between you and your victim. This way you are only able to leave a scratch. A lady’s scream cuts through the air.

„FBI! We’ll handle the matter, just evacuate the place!” Dean regains his presence surprisingly fast and starts shouting. „Everybody - GO! Guests and staff alike! NOW! Move!” he doesn’t have to tell the people twice; they flee in a blink of an eye.

„Sam, let go of me!” you order „You don’t understand-”

„Oh, but I do, Y/N! Angels massacred your family! It’s all in that paper.”

„Then that’s exactly why you should let go!” you practically scream at him. He finally abides by you, but when you turn around, he envelopes you in a strong embrace.

„Sam?! Please…If I don’t kill as many angels as I can, I’m gonna go crazy…” the desperation in your voice in undeniable.

„No, you won’t!” he whispers into your hair while stroking the back of your neck with his thumb. You can’t stop the flood of hot tears washing over your face, which are eventually soaked in by his plaid shirt. „I won’t let you. Everything’s gonna be alright.”

You have no idea how long you stand there like that, clinging onto each other. But when you part, you realize that Dean and the angel have already sat down to the table and are checking out the wound.

„Relax, he’s not gonna die.” you comment, sitting down in the booth across them, wiping away a few leftover tears.

„But I’m not healing.” Castiel manages to say through gritted teeth.

„You are. Only a lot slower than usual and with a lot more… pain.”

„What did you do to him?!” Dean demands in a stern tone.

„Nothing. It’s just the blade.”

„You made it with magic, didn’t you?” realization hits Sam all of a sudden. Oh, well. It’s not like they are the first ones to discover.

„Yeah. Combined with weaponry, I can create marvellous things.” you admit „Besides, what do you think, where did that little boyband of yours get the idea to do so? Or even some prototypes?”

Their eyebrows fly up.

„You mean the Men of Letters?”

„Uh-huh. But let’s spare the chit-chat, shall we? What do you guys want from me? ’Cause I doubt you just wanted to let me know you caught me in my lie.” you say bitterly while looking at Sam.

„Okay, sure.” Dean agrees „Let’s get right to it. We need your help.”

„Can’t say I’m surprised….”

„As Sam may have mentioned, when the son of Lucifer was born, he opened up this other dimension and-„

„EXCUSE ME?! Sam never told me that!” you stare daggers at the person in question „The son of Lucifer?! Oh my God!.....I-I’m so out of here!” you jump to your feet and grab your helmet, but Sam’s voice stops you.

„Y/N! Please, wait! It’s not about him, or even Dean anyomre. It’s about the world. It will come to a terrible end.”

„That is of course if you refuse to help us.” Dean adds.

Even though every fiber in your body screams for you to leave, you slowly sit down.

„Go on.”

„So…this other dimension, this other world – Sam and I were never born there. This means that the apocalypse went down and Micheal defeated Lucifer. But he scorched the planet in the process. He got over to this world and plans to do the same thing. We only know of one weapon to stop him, but the owner is from another dimension, too, and she’s not very cooperative. The plan is to get her land the damn spear to us so you could replicate it and we’ll kill that son of a bitch with it.”

You think everything you’ve just heard carefully through and weigh things in your mind.

„You sure it’s replicable?” you ask.

„It runs on some sort of magic so yeah, we believe it is. But you’re the expert, you’ll see for yourself.” Sam replies.

„You have any idea where it is now?”

„According to a dear friend of ours, Sherriff Jody Mills, it’s with its owner in the nearby woods, about twenty miles from here.”

„I’m not gonna leave my bike in the woods.” you say incredulously.

„You don’t even have to. You’ll come with us in the Impala and Jody will arrange an officer to take it to the station. It’ll be in good hands, don’t worry.”

„I hope your right. ’Cause if I find a scratch on it, I can assure you that shit will go down.”

Jackson headcanon *day2of30*

"One cappuccino, right?"

You laughed your heart out. "That's right."

It was the third coffee you had that day. It might have taken you a while to adjust to the all-new country you'd move in, but this habbit of yours wouldn't go away. Pretty much every coffee shop around the block knew your addiction to caffeine, as much as your preference to your beverage.

You took the cup, payed and headed out of the shop, earplugs and music on to accompany you all the way back to the JYP studio building. Your job somehow had managed to get you in contact with JYP and the band you'd been listening to and following for years, GOT7, and you kind of lived the dream of your life. You accompanied them to concerts, interviews, even fan meetings to other countries.

You got into the building, took the elevator to the eighth floor and practically bursted into the studio where the band was on their dance practice at the time. They all smiled and waved at you when they saw you, and continued with their flexes and dance moves. You would have time to catch up later, maybe even get to have dinner all together. It was obvious the eight of you had gotten very close all these months, there was nearly a year completed since you met them and most days of the week you were there with them.

Some time they finished their practice and it was time for their break, so they gathered around you to have a little chat-chat before they'd get back to work. Everyone seemed fine, except from Jackson. He kept giving you some worried looks since you walked in, but you didn't pay much attention to it, he was probably just tired.

"How was your day, Y/N?," Youngjae asked after taking a big sip of water out of his bottle. You smiled at him.

"All good, i guess. I had to firm some contracts with your company to make sure I'll work with you guys till the end of the year, and apparently it's also gonna be like this for the next year as well! They seem to be really satisfied with my work, and I really hope it's all gonna be fine!,"you answered with a big smile on your face. They all gave happy looks to each other.

"This is great! We appreciate all your effort, you know." Im Jaebum had always something good to say about your work, thing that made you so proud of everything you had managed to accomplish until that day.

"Gamsahamnida," you said, and he winked at you, smiling back.

You spent the next ten minutes relaxing and talking about your day, your plans etc, you sipping on your coffee every once in a few minutes until there was none left of it. You stood up to throw it tk the bin, and walking back to them you saw Jackson giving you those worried glances once again. You finally decided to ask him what was wrong, as you were really curious about his behaviour. But you had to wait until the practice was over.

This took at least three more hours. Three hours of anticipation. All this time you just couldn't take your eyes off them. The way their bodies were completely enharmonized to the rythm the were dancing to, their incredible moves and the emotion they gave out, they were just pure please and bliss to watch. But, more specifically, you couldn't take your eyes off him. Wang. This boy had you head over heels ever since the first day you were introduced into this genre of music. His moves, the way of waving at the croud, his smile, his laughter, his warm glance, everything of him gave you this feeling of pure and honest beauty.

You anyways couldn't let these feelings cloud your judgment nor bring you in break with your job. So you tried to ignore them as much as you could. And you were doing pretty well.

Really.

After their practice was over, you accepted their offer to walk you to your house, just right in the corner. You walked all eight together, making jokes and having a little of good time. When you reached your door, you turned around.

"Thanks a lot for bringing me home, guys, I had a very good time,"you said to them genuinly.

"Don't mention it, "Y/N," said Mark and Jingyoung with one voice, smiling and waving, sign that they had to go back to the building. You waited for them to move a bit away, and then you ran back and grabbed Jackson by his arm. It was pretty easy for you to do so, as he was the last one to leave.

He turned around to you in surprise. You nodded at him and pulled him back to your front step.

"Is everything okay? You seem really...how would I say that...distracted?," you asked him and looked at him right in the eye.

He sighed, and nearly avoided your glance.

"Yeah, no, everything is fine, don't worry...Really," he said trying to smile, but you raised your left eyebrow and kept looking at him, so he couldn't help but clench his teeth and change his answer.

"I am really worried, Y/N, okay? I see you working all day, you come and go all day long from your house to JYP, you get really tired every day. And all that coffee you keep drinking all day long is no good for your health. It keeps your body in full energy for some hours and you don't understand whether you feel tired or not. This is soon gonna get you in trouble... I know how it is to get through a period of full exaustion, I know how it feels to not be able to do anything for much much time and how low it brings your confidence... And I don't want you to go through this as I did, " he said.

You just stood there, unable to believe in what you had just heard. He...he really did care about you. You could see it in his eyes, his eyebrows frowned and his lips being frantically bitten on the inside from his all-time clenching teeth. Your mouth fell a bit open and you let out a silent sigh. You cracked your knuckles without taking your eyes off of him.

"Why are you telling me all this?"

You needed to hear it.

He didn't answer immedately. You thought he wouldn't, but after a few moments of silence, he said:

"Because I care."

This was music to your ears. You closed the distance between you two without thinking or even having any doubt. He looked at you right in the eyes, and for one moment you believed his eyes could pierce right through your soul and reveal everything you kept hiding there for years. He cupped your face in his hands and caressed your angles with his fingers. He rested his forehead on yours, and your placed one hand on his chest and the other you used to tangle your fingers with those in his left hand, still being on your face. You both looked down, but none of you could hold their smile. You wouldn't ask for more. This moment was the most precious you could hold.

"Please be careful, okay?," he whispered. You nodded.

"I will. You take care too."

He slowly backed away, and with a smile he turned around. You stayed there watching him walking away and you were ready to go inside, when with the corner of your eye you saw him turning back, quickly rushing onto your stairs, grabbing your waist, pulling you on his lap and crushing his lips on yours, without thinking if anyone passing by would see so. You kissed him back, your eyes frantically closed, the smell of coffee still in your breath, of which you were almost out.

The one with the zombies - Part 2

Pairings: Winter Soldier x Reader

Summary: Y/N and the Winter Soldier get to know each other as she gives him another chance. Zombie Apocalypse AU

A/N: I know this doesn´t have as much suspense as the first one but I wanted to tone it down and give you some information on the situation and answer a few quiestions before turning to more action again. I hope you like it anyway <3

You heard quick footsteps running past you. It was dark but you could roughly make out that the man from the house had decapitated the creature with an axe. The man returned to you, looking down at you for a moment. He must have remembered your words because he headed back to the house without you, you watched him enter the house, but he never closed the door behind himself. After a while you slowly stood up and followed him.

It wounded your pride, or whatever was left of it after the countless humiliations the past month, to enter this mans house again but it was the only shelter for miles.

When you closed the door behind you you noticed he was back in his spot, stirring the pot.

"You have every right to be upset and distrust me.", he made a heavy pause, "The least I can do is protect you, let me make it right."

After that he turned off the stove and turned around, looking at you expectantly.

You couldn't do more than nod at him slowly. Was it possible that he genuinly worried about you? Turning your head you saw the couch you slept on compared to were he had possibly rested. He had saved you just now even after you insulted him in such an inhumane way. You remembered how he had saved you at the base, how he had carried you all this way, put clothes on you and made sure you were warm and hydrated. The man you were so terrified of seemed to be caring and compassionate.

What kind of Stockholm-Syndrome situation is this?

"It's good you're awake, you should eat.", he gestured to the pot.

Without a word you took a seat in one of the chairs at the kitchen table. He filled a bowl for you and a bowl for himself. He had finished his before you even took a bite out of yours. It was tomato soup, it smelled surprisingly delicious and you wondered if it was canned.

Only when you started to eat did you notice how hungry you actually were. You thanked him and he gave you a nod.

When you were finished he took the bowls and washed them. He seemed pretty neat except for his unruly hair he occasionally tried to push back behind his ears.

"You should rest", with that he left into the living room and you followed him.

You looked at his bedspread as he sat down on it facing the fireplace.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. There is a bedroom and a bathroom on your left but I figured you should stay as warm as possible considering, you know...", he trailed off, gazing into the fire.

You still marvelled at his voice, it was beautiful but definetly didn't sound like it belonged to him.

"What's your name?", you asked without really thinking about it. It took him quite a while to answer and you thought he might have not heard your question.

"It was James I believe.", he answered slowly.

"Was?", you didn´t really understand what he meant by that.

He looked at you then to the bedroom door and stood up. He disappeared into the adjacent room and returned with a file. Only when he handed you the file did you notice that his hand seemed to made of metal. You decided you could inquire about that later and opened it.

Name: Barnes, James Buchanan

Title: Sergeant

DOB: March, 10th 1917

You didn't know why he was showing you this but when you compared the photograph to him the resemblance was uncanny. Still it was impossible for him to still be alive.

"This says date of birth 1917. How would this be you?"

"I was put into cryogenic freeze for years on end.", he answered as if it would be the most ordinary thing to do.

You were speachless. Thinking back at the base it was possible they actually froze this man alive. After looking at the photo of what seemed to be the man in front of you, you dared to ask him what was on your mind not sure if you were ready for what he was about to tell you.

"What have they done to you?". Was it possible he wasn't the villain, but a victim himself?

After taking in a deep breath and reflecting for a moment, he told you that he didn't remember most of his life, but merely had his information from the file in your hands and the occassional memories that resurfaced. His story began in the 40s, when he was drafted and became a sergeant. He was captured by Hydra but was rescued shortly after. On a mission he fell from a train and lost his arm. He remembered waking up after surgery, his arm having been replaced by a metal one.

He looked at his hand for a while and fell quite. You weren't sure if he was going to go on, but after a short while he continued. He told you about Hydra, how they had manipulated, tortured and programmed him. How they reshaped whatever was left of James to be the Winter Soldier. He went on to tell you that he had to commit horrible crimes for them, brainwashed needles to say. Frozen most of the time he was only revived when he was needed for missions and wiped afterwards. He spared you the details of what "wiped" meant, but he made sure to let you know it had something to do with electrocution.

"It was you after all wasn't it? The man brought me to them?", you didn't really need his answer at this point you most certainly know.

He nodded but he couldn't seem to look into your eyes.

"Why me?". The question you had been asking yourself since the day he took you.

"You were a mission, it wasn't for me to decide. But it must have been because you were all alone.", he stated but didn't seem to notice what he was telling you until he was finished, "You were new in town, you lived alone, you were an orphan with no siblings. You were newly divorced and had no kids. You were the perfect victim, no one would be looking for you. That must have been why they chose you."

He stopped talking when he realized that it was too much and that what he had just said hit home for you. He knew everything about you.

Suddenly you had the overwhelming feeling that your life depended on what you were about to ask.

"Can I take a shower?", you asked to his confusion. You needed to wash this day off of you.

"Uhm... yes, of course.", he stammered and stood up to show you around. He waited for you to catch up to him, because he seemingly had to give you a disclaimer.

"In this cabinet there are towels, in that one is a clean toothbrush, a hairbrush, hair ties and... feminine stuff. The water doesn't get that warm but it's better than nothing. I´ll go get you clean clothes and leave you to it.", with that he went to the bedroom next door and got you another set of his clothes.

When he came back he found you staring at his razor next to the sink. And gave you a "please don't hurt yourself"-look. He handed you the clothes and you gave him a nod and what must have been the most forced tiny smile you could muster. He closed the door behind himself and you slowly took off your clothes.

You stepped into the shower and turned up the water. You noticed that there was a bottle of shampoo for men and one for women, same for shower gel. You asked yourself if he had planned all of this. But thinking back at the way the house was furnished you assumed that it wasn't his to begin with. You decided you'd look further into it when you had taken your shower and you tried to relax.

It´s weird how taking a shower and brushing your teeth can make you feel human again. You put on the oversized clothes he had given you and slowly brushed out your wet hair looking at yourself in the mirror. You looked so much different than you remembered and it dawned on you that you hadn't seen yourself in months. The woman in the mirror seemed defeated and malnourished, she didn't look like she'd ever be happy again.

Quietly you opened the door and saw the man who was supposed to be called James sitting on the floor writing into a journal. You must not have been as sneeky as you thought because it seemed like he only finished writing a sentence when he turned around to ask you if you were okay.

"Yes. Thanks for the clothes.", you timidly said.

"Don't mention it.", he replied but didn't think you had heard it or cared for his answer as you were wordlessly looking around the house for the fist time since you woke up.

The house seemed a little dusty but cosy nevertheless. There were knick-knacks and decoration. But it didn't seem like a home, more like a vacation house that was most likely arranged by a woman. There were nails on the walls were there used to be picture frames but James must have taken them down at some point. It just didn't feel like this would belong to him, he seemed too pragmatic for this type of house. Even the carpet matched the drapes. Although, you now noticed, he had nailed the windows shut with wooden bars.

"What is this place?", you asked still standing in the middle of the living room.

Last Saturday I went to a badass dark techno party. On a short "fresh air" break, a guy - a little bit smaller and skinnier than me - started asking money to the people next to me. It was 3 am and pretty frisky.

When he came to me, I realized he had no shirt. So I asked him: "Where is your shirt?".

He answered in some unidentifiable language (for me at least). So I asked him in several languages:

" You speak French, Spanish, English?"

Again, he answered, but I have no idea what.

I had to change my technique. So I showed him my shirt and made a "what is going on" emoji 🤷‍♂️. (It was kind of stupid to ask... I would not understand his answer anyway).

So I asked the girl next to me to hold my "cigarette". She looked at me and I felt she was about to say no, but while she started answering she changed her mind and said ok.

I took my brand new shirt off and put it on that little dude. He tried to resist at first, but quickly realized he had no choice: I was dressing him.

When his head popped out of the shirt, a huge smile was on his face. He looked at the shirt, touched it, looked at me, bowed to me to show his gratitude and something crazy happened:

He took off jumping and screaming of joy. Found an empty can and started playing football with it until he turned around the corner and I lost him from my sight.

I turned around, now in a tank top, thanked the girl for holding my "cigarette" and stayed there alone.

There was no payback. The girl didn't say anything. The people around merely realized what had happened.

But, the smile I saw, the sound I heard coming from that dude invaded my mind for a couple of days. It helped me remember that I used to be proud to defend light and love at all cost.

So many years living in the world I was in, and going through a horrendous treason and heartbreak a few month ago, seeing my dreams collapse, my business go down, being fired from my current job a week earlier and having heard my wife tell me "Love without money ain't worth much" before going to her boyfriend's place, leaving me and my daughter behind.

I was filled with rage, anger and resentment. I had forgotten what it was like to see someone smile genuinly. I had forgotten what it was like to feel good. And when I say good, I mean good inside. Not the "good" from drugs, alcohol or a few special moments with my friends or daughter.

This is when I realized:

I might not be successful, get rich and give my daughter everything she needs. But I will not rest until I have educated my daughter to love the next person. Until she realizes that Love trumps money, success and hate all the time.

I always told my wife "I'd rather live under a bridge with people I love, than live in a Castel with people I merely tolerate".

Chapter 10

Several hours had passed. Sara was not sure how long it had been. But dinner was almost complete. The pig that was slaughtered last month was further depleted than she had intially thought. There was but one ham left. She had to have Nathan slaughter the turkey instead of the chickens as to make up for the lack of pork. Luckily they had caught two wild turkeys the day after they had returned with the injured man, and had clipped their wings and put them in the coup with the chickens. If it wasnt for the turkey he would have had to kill a third chicken, but he had returned with the ham before slaughtering the fouls and Sara had instructed him to slaughter the turkey instead. She had made mashed potatoes, with diced sauteed onions mixed in. Gravy for the potatoes, and a salad to go with the turkey and ham she prepared. It wasnt anything fancy but it was what she could muster up in such a short time. The Injured man had awoken several times throughout the day but Nathan used his abilities to coax the man back to sleep. Currently he was wakeing up and seemed less groggy. Nathan was helping him wake up with some mundane concoction he made from some tealeaves and roots. Sara had told him that the next he was to awaken to let him wake up some for dinner. She wanted him to be awake enough to answer any questions Pops allowed her to ask. She couldnt remember the last time anyone was over for dinner. The first month they had arrived at her grandfathers a man from the capital had come out to investigate where Sara and her brothers had gone off to. He had not known that they were at there grandfathers, but instead thought he might know where they had gone. To his surprise they were there. He stayed for dinner and left the next day. Sara supposed that was probably the last time anyone was at the house other than the four of them. As Sara was removeing the turkey from the spit Nathan looked at her "Pops is almost here, i can hear him, he will be here in about a minute." Even after all this time she still was amazed at her brothers ability to hear things from so far off. But at times it seemed as though he couldnt hear anything. She supposed he could turn it on and off as he wished. Like she could with her elemental abilities. Zack walked threw the door almost exactly a minute later. With him was a short burly man.He was bout two full heads shorter than Zack, but looked to be as strong as an ox. His huge arms were as big around as Sara's legs and he carried a large two handed war hammer on his back along with a pack.The man, if it even was a man, wore simple leather armor with metal plates attached in locations that looked strategicly placed. Some of the metal plates looked to be damaged from spear points hitting it hard but not penetrateing through. On the plates and in the leather that wasnt covered were symbols that she could not understand. The short man looked around the room with an intense yet, happy look. "Something smells amazeing!" He announced "I brought ale for those with the stomach." He turned around and grabbed a barrel half his size with ease and threw it over his shoulder. "Where would u like me to place it old man" He asked looking at Zack. "Just over there in the corner we will get to it after the food." Zack looked genuinly happy and in good spirit. "Sara my dear, our friend here Dvärg," he said poiting at the burly man "is utterly correct it does smell amazeing in here. Thank you for seeing to my request I gave Nathan before I left. I apologize for the sudden departure earlier today but i was in a hurry and needed to make it North fast." Sara just nodded and set the table for six. The table was barely large enough to fit the six of them much less the food so she opted to leave the food on the counter to save space at the table. She began to prep the plates with food. As everyone made there way to the table Dvärg set the barrel in the corner and produced a wooden mug from his pack filling it with ale and made his way to the table. Zack was helping the soldier to the table. He seemed to be moveing alot easier than Sara had expected. Apparently her grandfathers healing abilities were not exagerated. All the plates were piled with food and divided around the table to all six people, and finally Sara could sit down here self and rest. She was famished and could not wait to eat, but her manners would not allow her to do so until everyone else had begun to eat and she was certain that no one else needed anything. As she was dividing the plates Nathan had decided to get beverage for everyone that did not have drink. "So as you may already have figured out this here is Dvärg" Zack waved his hand nonchalantly at Dvärg, "He is a Dwarf of the Kalidar mountains to the north," Zack layed his hand on the dwarfs shoulder, "he is a great friend, and a fearless ally in battle." Dvärg stood and took a bow. Sitting back down with a smile he added "But not as fearless as the old man here, I know personaly his abilities in battle, and am only alive due to his prowess in war!" "A dwarf?" questioned Sara. "Dwarves are not real. There just made up stories to keep children entertained. You dont honestly expect us to believe this Dvärg is from a mythical race of people that do not exist. Do you?" Dvärg stopped with his mug halfway to his lips, sighed, and set his mug back down. "Little miss, if i am not real then how do i sit infront of you now?" Sara rolled her eyes "I did not say you were not real i said you are not a Dwarf. Sure you look different than most people i have seen but that does not make you a person of a mythological race." Looking at Zack and then to Nick, Dvärg gestured "Is this him? The strong one? He looks to be stout." Nodding Zack commented "Stronger than most dwarves ive ever met maybe even stronger than Dvärg the Blacksmith." With a smurk that was somewhat comforting Dvärg looked at Nick "So would u like to put your Strength to the test? I belive if i could prove my strength here and now little miss there" pointing at Sara " might belive what i am saying. For no human alive could match the strength of a dwarf. If im not mistaken that is the belief of you humans, am i wrong?" Knowing that there was no way this man nor another was able to surpass her brothers strength Sara felt confident that this Dvärg was getting himself into more than he could handle just gave a knowing smile. "How about it Nick? An arm wrestle? A tug-o-war? Would u be willing to test Dvärg's strength to your own?" Zack questioned looking nathan right in the eyes with a smurk on his face. Nick simply stood up removed everything from the table that his grandfather and brother had used to hold the bandages and medicines next to the soldiers bed, and set it next to Dvärg and placeing his chair at the small table. Nathan put his elbow on the surface of the table and opened his hand showing that he was willing to test this so called dwarves strength. "Dont hold back my boy. Dvärg can handle his own. If you do he will not and u will sorely regrett it. Understood?" Zack said with a slight hint of sarcasm in his voice. Smileing Dvärg swung around backwards on his chair and classped hands with Nick. As soon as there hands met Nick could feel the strength in the dwarfs grip. Eyes widening and a smirk on his face Nick prepared for what he was now sure would be the best test of his abilities for as long as he could remember. Dvärg counted to three in the language of his people "Ett, Två, Tre." As Dvärg said the final word both mens muscles tensed and the battle had begone. It was a deadlock. Neither Nick nor Dvärg were gaining ground. Small movements from side to side as one or the other gave sudden bursts of strenght is all that could be seen. Sara could not believe this man was holding Nick and giveing him a run for his strength. Sweat began to bead on the heads of the two men as the stuggle continued on, hitting one minute in deadlock then two. "Nick u got this theres no way you can let him win" Nathan gasped with such amazement that he could barely get the words out. Dvärg resituated his legs slightly and with a groan and started to slowly overpower Nicks ability to hold his arm up upright. The force being applied to the table was so emence that cracks started to form under there elbows. As Nicks arm came to a fourty-five degree angle he stretched his fingers one at a time untill his hand was fully open. With a sudden burst of strenght that would have shattered any other mans arm Nick put his all into the one on one battle he was fighting. Closeing his hand he strained like he had never had to before and pushed back against the dwarves onslaught. Slowly he pushed back reaching the apex of the arc and continueing on till Dvärg's hand was but a mere inch from the table. There they sat for what seemed like an hour but was truly but a few seconds when Dvärg could no longer hold it and lost his will to fight on. The force released from Nick's counter push was so strong the table splintered into a heap of wood as the back of Dvärg's hand smacked the table. Panting and sweating profusely Nick looked up at the dwarf with such amazement. Never in his wildest dreams did he believe another man could hold his own as this one had in a test of strength against him. Nick had won but it was the hardest faught battle of strength he had ever been in. Sara could not believe her eyes. There is no way a normal human could have done that. The amount of force that was excerted onto that table was so emince that she could feel the thump in her chest as the air rushed out from under the back of Dvärg's had as it smacked the table. In astonishment Dvärg stood up panting and covered in sweat. He looked at Zack then back to Nick "The old man was right. You do have the Gudastyrka. I did not believe that was possible in a human." Confused, everyone includeing the soldier who was just starting to come out of his daze, looked at Dvärg. Everyone but Zack who knew what he was talking about.

There's always a way ~ A Markiplier and Jacksepticeye Ego Fanfic

Requested by the stunning @sheridandwyer here’s some noice action with our favourite emo edgelord, with some…ahem…unorthodox methods of persuasion in play 😄 Just for some brief context, this is going to have the viewpoint that Anti and Jack share a body, but Dark will have his own in order to make things simpler and this can be perceived as either platonic or romantic Danti👌Here we go!

Dark was frustrated. It had been weeks, months even, since he’d been able to see Anti. He’d had to endure existing amongst his pathetic excuse for an original, who was incessently calm despite his threats and promises of making him suffer soon. Which he would end up doing…ideally. There was one issue, if Jack suffered then so did Anti.

Courtesy of Jack’s pathetic little fanbase and their influence, Anti was stuck inhabiting Jack’s headspace and it consequently took him a lot of energy to break free and have a glimmer of control. It was a horrid way to live, and it made Dark seeth and bubble with endless rage. So he decided that enough was enough, today was the day he’d make Jack release Anti into his mind. Anti deserved control more than anyone that Dark knew, and he was more than willing to assist.

Today was perfect, he and Jack were the only people in the house. It was with the knowledge that it would remain that way for a while, that Dark sauntered into the living area where Jack was flipping through the TV channels. Jack paid him no mind even when Dark joined him on the couch, but he sighed through his nose when he shut off the TV with a light finger snap. Jack went to stand…but Dark’s smoky tendrils, his aura, forced him to stay put.

‘Did ya want somethin’? Cuz I have things to do-’

Jack’s relaxed state diminished as he gasped suddenly, touching his throat as his voice was cut off. Dark smiled and sighed gently as Jack turned to him with wide eyes and an anticipatory expression.

‘Ahh much better. I’ll get straight to the point, so as not to waste any of your precious time.’

Dark sneered as Jack gritted his teeth, Dark leant towards him with eyes solid black and a voice so sharp that it could probably cut through someone’s soul.

‘I want Anti.’

Jack grunted and clenched his fists with a grimace, he wasn’t exactly surprised. It was all Dark ever focused on, and it was exhausting Jack even more than usual as he kept maintaining his mental block against the glitched demon. Even now…he felt him stirring.

‘I am tired of being the only one like me in this place, your pathetic human mind couldn’t possibly comprehend what it’s like for me. Just…release him to me, for a time. You will not regret it.’

Dark’s toned voice resonated between Jack’s ears, but this wasn’t the first time Dark had asked. He flicked his wrist and Jack shuddered at the return of his voice, he turned to Dark, his own voice plagued with exasperation.

‘No. My answer is always going to be the same. You know there’s nothing you can do to change my mind, I am not giving Anti to you.’

Jack tried to project determination, but he cursed himself as his voice wavered at times. Dark snarled, Jack gulped gently at his demeanour as his physical shell cracked and shook around him; his rage evident. Dark composed himself, a smile in place once again.

‘So resolute…it seems I shall have to change my approach.’

The irishman furrowed his brows and went to open his mouth, but all of a sudden Dark had grasped his wrists and crawled on top of him. A strong tendril wrenched his hands above his head and Jack shook with fear as Dark leant over him. His eyes gleamed with joy at his position of control, he settled atop Jack’s thighs with smug satisfaction. Jack was terrified…was this it? Had he finally pushed it too far?

‘H-hey now Dark uh, let’s n-not rush into anything okay?’

Dark almost shook with satisfaction at the pitiful fear he instilled in Jack, he rolled his eyes with a sneer as he rested his hands on the trapped man’s tummy.

‘Don’t worry your pretty little head too much…as much as it pains me, I can’t hurt you.’

Jack nibbled on his lip nervously, a shudder passing through him when Dark’s hands rested on him. He felt fractionally more at ease, but it only begged the question of what Dark WAS going to do. Said man smiled genially as he let his eyes trail over Jack’s form.

‘However, I do have other…techniques at my disposal.’

Dark tilted his head gently, he knew full well that what he was going to try was…unorthodox. He wasn’t even certain if it would work, as well as the fact that it was almost insanely childish. But he didn’t have any other options. Jack shivered as Dark’s fingertips started to trail gently over his tummy, he found himself repressing a light grin. No way, this couldn’t be happening…right?

Dark smirked heavily. Bingo.

‘Oh Jack…a little sensitive are we?’

Jack felt his blood run cold as the realisation hit him…he was screwed. The corners of his lips twitched and curled as a smile broke free, Dark started scratching over the belly before him; he had hope now.

‘Dohon’t…’

Dark raised an eyebrow as he grinned widely.

'Oh dear, it seems you are. Not only that…but there’s no way for you to stop me!’

Dark suddenly squeezed and probed at his tummy thus making Jack yelp and descend into rapid giggling, he tried to squirm away but it was no use.

'Nahahahaha stahahahahappihit!’

Dark only snickered as he moved to pinch and rub his ribcage, Jack’s laughter deepened as he squeezed his eyes shut.

'You don’t need to put yourself through this, you know what I want.’

Jack shook his head rapidly as Dark fingers rested under his arms, he looked up at Dark who was staring at him expectantly; but Jack was still determined.

'Ihihi’m nahat givihing hihim to yohou.’

Dark snarled at his annoying defiance, he glared as he rekindled his smirk.

'Very well, I can be patient. We do have all day after all.’

Jack gulped heavily as Dark fluttered his fingers in his hollows, his thin t-shirt offering no protection from the torturously light sensations.

'FUHUHUHUCK YOHOHOHOU!’

Jack exclaimed through his snorts and cackles as Dark traced endless little shapes and patterns, he relished in the reactions he drew from Jack; he was actually starting to enjoy this.

'If I were you…I wouldn’t be so rude.’

Jack screeched as Dark scribbled under his arms harshly, he could feel tears pricking at the corners of his eyes but he was still desperate to hold on.

'PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE!! STAHAHAHAHAP THAHAHAT!!!’

He thrashed and wailed amidst his laughter as Dark smirked down at him teasingly, his words were making the ordeal ten times worse.

'It must be maddening, having to endure me exploiting ALL of your ticklish spots. What I ask is very simple…comply and it can all be over.’

'SHUHUHUHUHUT UHUHUHUHUP!’

Jack cursed himself as Dark’s words flooded his mind, they were something cool and focused in the sea of rapid thoughts coursing through him. Would it be so bad…to let him out? Jack shook his head and gritted his teeth as Dark’s movements slowed.

'Well?’

Dark inquired patiently, Jack grimaced as he spoke his next words. Knowing where they’d get him, but he couldn’t give up. Not yet anyway. Jack mustered up a determined grin, making Dark snarl.

'Bihite me yohou emo ahasshole!’

Dark shut his eyes as he inhaled slowly, it was taking everything. EVERYTHING he had not to rip Jack’s throat out and clench his trachea in his cold fist…but he refrained, for Anti. He opened his eyes and growled low from his throat.

'I am going to make you regret that.’

There was no build up, no teasing anticipation. Dark just reached under Jack’s shirt and latched both hands onto his right side, he thought to himself how truly careless Jack was to let slip such…vital information. The latter screamed. The sensation was so powerful it almost was painful, but not quite.

'AHAHAHAHAHAHA FAHAHAHAHA!!!’

Jack bucked violently as Dark relentlessly scratched and dug into the sensitive flesh, Dark was ecstatic as he spoke clearly through his victim’s hysteria.

'So ticklish, and so helpless. You’re all alone Jack, just give up and save yourself.

Jack was flushed and panting as tears streamed down his cheeks, his lungs were burning and his body was tiring from his struggles and strains. Dark’s words invading him once again.

'IHIHIHIHI CAHAHAHAHAHA!!!’

Jack despaired, he knew he couldn’t hold out any longer. Especially when Dark leant into him, he whispered delicately…and Jack was lost.

'Give him to me.’

Dark eyes shone with triumph as Jack wailed loudly, his face stretched into an almost insane grin as he yelled out.

'OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOKAHAHAY!!!’

Dark immediatly stopped as Jack’s body spasmed beneath him, he grinned as a thin wound appeared on his neck and his skin dimmed to a beautiful pale green colour. There was a loud gasp from beneath him as eyelids fluttered open, black orbs wide and staring.

'Anti?’

Dark asked slowly, the eyes blinked before dimming into one green iris and one turquoise. The pupils dilated immediatly as his lips stretched into a mad grin.

'Darky!’

Dark yelped before descending into a stream of chuckles as Anti leapt up and tackled him in a tight hug. He reciprocated as Anti’s crackly giggle filled his ears…god had he missed that sound.

'You got me out!’

Anti withdrew and knelt on the couch, Dark let himself stay lying down as he donned a gentle, smug grin.

'I suppose I did, it was a minor feat really…’

He smirked and chuckled when Anti shoved his shoulder, the exciteable man stuck his tongue out before grinning widely again.

'Oh poor Darkipoo…you must be ever so exhausted.’

Anti spoke sarcastically, making Dark laugh loudly again. Dark narrowed his eyes as he flicked them to the TV remote, he grabbed it and threw it to Anti who reached out and caught it with stunning reflexes. They both grinned.

'Movie?’

Dark smiled genuinly.

'Movie.’

Anti giggled and clapped his hands before flopping and draping himself over Dark, the latter sighed as Anti flipped through the channels of the (now functioning) TV. Dark didn’t know how long they’d have, but he relaxed knowing that he’d always have a certain way…to bring Anti back to him.

AN: So I haven´t writen in a while, I was really busy, but now I came up with this idea and I hope it´s not a total washout (I just found out that word lmao), in the story all of the queens are females, and there are going to be lots of pairings but mainly Pearlet and Shalaska, and I took a lot of creativity license cause I know nothing about the real world, anyway, I hope you like it and let me know what you think <3

Tonight was the big event, the anual festivity of the agency. Every year there was a party to celebrate the fact that “Ru Paul´s Model Agency” was still the best place to find any kind of models. Their fame had increased considerably when they were the first ones to actively accept the diversity of body shapes and nationalities. And this night, specially this night, everybody would be there, and everybody meant everybody. All the models that were part of the agency, as well as the photographers, editors, staff, the media and of course the directives, which were only two now. Violet looked in the mirror again, they were doing her hair, her makeup was all done, and she looked amazing, but again, she always did. Sitting by her side was Katya that seemed really interested by something in her phone, she was probably texting with Trixie, Violet rolled her eyes, they really could never stay away from each other. She knew that if Trixie wasn´t in another room, Katya would most probably had abandoned her by now. They had them separated by “level of importance” as Violet liked to call it, mostly because said that way, it sounded worse than it was, and she loved feeling like a bad bitch using that term. To be honest, the only difference was that they had the models that were the most popular ones, or got the most remarkable jobs during the year, in “special treatment” which meant they were borrowed more expensive clothes and the hair and makeup was sure to be made perfectly so each of them looked their best tonight, at the end of the day, people wanted to see them. Violet loved this kind of events and this kind of separations, it made her feel special, like a rewarding to all of her job, she had her place secured now, and that was something only a few people could say. 9 to be exact, the only 9 people to ever be the face of the agency, it was an honor, or at least that´s how she saw it. Being the face of the agency means that everybody loves you, you are the fucking sensation and every teenager in the world wants to be you, let alone teenagers, everybody wants to be you, and she could said she had been there. She looked in the mirror again and smiled, and her smile just got bigger as she spotted someone at the end of the giant room, wearing a robe and drinking from a bottle of water. She tried to catch her attention waving her hand, hoping the other girl would turn around and see her reflection, fortunately she did, and when she realized who was waving at her, she smiled and started walking towards them. “What´s up bitches?” Pearl asked positionating herself between Violet and Katya, careful not to bother the hairstylist that was still working on Violet. Katya seemed to wake up at the sound of Pearl and turned to look at her with a frown. “What are you doing here?” She asked genuinly confused. Violet couln´t stop the loud laugh that left her throat. “Well hello to you too” The newely arrived girl answered in an offended tone, Katya just started giggling after realizing just how rude she might have sound and held Pearl by the arm. “Sorry, it wasn´t meant to offend anybody, just…” “Just that if you are here that means Trixie could, should, or would, not sure which one, be here too” Violet finished knowing exactly what the russian blonde was thinking. Katya turned to see her open mouthed and after brief seconds she concluded “Right, just what she said” The three girls laughed a little and then it was Pearl´s turn to speak and answer all the questions that the other two girls could have. “Well, first of all, how do you know I shouldn´t be here?, I just want to remind you that I´ve been doing a great job” She said crossing her arms. “Oh, we know Pearly, but your name just wasn´t in the list” the brunette girl said. “Wait, how do you even know that?” Violet just smiled and winked her eye at her. After rolling her eyes Pearl finally answered, “I guess they just made a mistake, you are right, I wasn´t in the list, but something happened, I don´t know what, but Bianca was really mad” Bianca was the person in charge of all the logistics, she was the one to take care of practically everything to do with the events of the agency and the PR. After that Katya was called to get her outfit and the hairstylist finally finished what he was doing, leaving Pearl and Violet alone. “I´m actually really happy they made a mistake” Violet said taking Pearl´s hand. “Someone´s feeling bold today” “Oh hush, see? Nobody is around” Violet ended the sentence stealing a quick peck from Pearl´s lips, the other girl just smiled, she couldn´t really be mad at her. “Are we going home together, or do you preffer going separate ways?” the blonde asked. They had been living together for a while, well, more less, Pearl still had her aparement in a nice building, but during the last 6 months, she had been sleeping almost every night at Violet´s place, all of her important stuff was there too, the only reason she still kept the other apartment was just a facade so people wouldn´t actually know where she was living. The decision to keep it as a secret was taken by the two of them , after what happened with Sharon and Aalaska and the media going crazy, they thought that it should be known until it was strictly necesary. “Let´s go home together, I don´t think anybody will suspect anything, at least not tonight." *** All the models were lined up ready to get into the cars that would take them to the the red carpet. The red carpet was the most expected moment for the paparazzi, such a unique thing to see the line of beautiful models entering the lobby of the salon, but first, pictures, of course. Alaska could feel the all too familiar adrenalin flowing through her body, this was her year, she had worked so fucking much to have this, probably harder than any of the other girls here, she was sure. All those hours crying and starving herself to death had to worth something, and here was the result, hundreds of periodists trying to take a picture of her, everybody following her on twiter, facebook, instagram, snapchat, all to see what she was wearing and what she was doing. She called the shots here, she decided what was cool and what was not. She felt powerful and wanted, but that didn´t stopped her body from feeling incredibly weak, she had to keep it together, it´s not like she hadn´t done this before, there were times her body was screaming at her to stop the abuse, but she hadn´t, she had worked hard despite everything, and look where it got her, the top of the world. She felt really dizzy for a moment so she took a sip from the bottle of water that Pearl had given her earlier after asking if she was okay, of course she was, she was fucking famous. While she drank the water that tasted a little bitter in her mouth she could see Sharon through the corner of her eye, she was talking with Katya. She looked beatiful and scary, more mature now, Alaska had to admitt it, since the breakup both of them went through a hard time, there was a time when she almost lost her job because she always looked so sad and bad in general, but then the time passed and she focused in what was important, and she had donde it, and of course, Sharon had too, she had always been a winner, so unique and perfect as she was, no wonder why she fell in love with her. She sipped the water again, and again and again, it almost felt like it was only making it worse. "Ready girls?, we are sending you in groups, section A come with me, the ones with partners, they are waiting in the lobby” that separation was made every year, section A, the one that Alaska belonged now permanently was taken to the lobby where they would call their names and guide them to their cars, if they had no partner sometimes they would put some of them together in the same limousine. They were just waiting now, Alaska was kind of immersed in her own world, like she always did when she was tired, she didn´t know why she was so tired though, but a hand in her shoulder made her inmediatly come back to real life. “Hey Alaska? Are you okay?” it was Sharon, why was everybody asking that lately? “Yes, thanks” She answered with a smile and she had to held her hands together so the other girl couldn´t see they were shaking, she didn´t know why the were shaking, it was probably just the adrenaline, she was under a lot of preassure at the end of the day, plus the bang of nervouness that she always got when Sharon talked to her didn´t help at all. It was stupid to be honest, it had been 3 years now since the break up and they kept the relationship as a long friendship, of course that didn´t sttoped Alaska from crying all night when she found out that Sharon was dating someone else. Sharon opened her mouth to say something else but quickly closed it when Bianca got in. “Okay ladies, you all know what to do, look pretty and be charming, now I need Alaska to go with Steve…” Alaska didn´t hear much after that, she searched Steve with the look and once she found the guy, she started making her way towards him. “Wait!, emm, take care Lasky, have a good night, enjoy yourself please…” Sharon told her while sofly grabbing her hand and the letting go of it, Alaska could start feeling her eyes watering ,and a warm sensation took hold of her body, she didn´t understand why this was affecting her so much, she wasn´t this sensitive in a normal basis. The only thing she could do after that was give a silent nod and a little sad smile. Sharon saw Alaska turn around and follow this dude Steve alongside Bob and Naomi, and she could tell just by the way she was walking, something was off with her ex, earning her a feeling of concern that she wasn´t able to shake off during the entire night. *** They were all in the red carpet now, hundreds of pictures were being taken and of course people fighting to get interviews with the most wanted girls in the moment, that was Fame´s favourite part, she loved posing in front of a camera at any time and at any moment, this event was always so much fun to her, from finding the perfect dress, to chosing the perfect shoes and of course reuniting with old friends. She was making a flawless serious face for the many photographers when she could see from afar Violet posing, maybe as flawlessly as she was, with Trixie and Katya by her side. She just couldn´t stop the little smile that made her way through her face, it had been so long since they last saw each other, they used to be together all the time, but then she got married and work started to take different ways, so it was always a pleasure to at least spend some time with her. Slowly but surely she made her way to her friend, while still posing for the cameras. “Hey Vies” she said sliding her hand on the brunette´s waist. Violet instantly turned to see her, becoming surprised to see Fame in front of her. “Oh my God, Fame!�� She said trying not to do many body language, she gave her a very subtle hug and two elegant kisses, one in each cheek. They really had to look pretty all the time, at least for now. They took a few more pictures before it was time to go inside the salon cause the event was about to start, It was divided in two parts, first there was like a ceremony, where they would post a video, and Ru would talk, Michelle would talk, this year Alaska would also talk, and it was all live on T.V, as well as the red carpet, there were many famous guests too.The other half was the private party. They were all entering the building ,and as fast as they were out of sight they hugged each other so tight they could hardly breathe. “I missed you bitch! Violet said once she gave a step back to look at her face. "Me too, I really did miss you a lot my love” They smiled warmly at each other before Violet squealed happily. “Well, now that you are here, I have soooo much things to tell you, like a lot” “And I can´t wait to hear them, we have like 5 minutes before we necesarily need to be at our places, so spill the T in order of importance” “Okay, okay. Well first, you are not going to believe this, but my dream is finally coming true, the agency decided that it was a good idea to invest in a new project related to me, and in a couple months, you are not going to believe this..” “Bitch, you are scaring me, just say it!” Violet stared at her for a couple more seconds with a huge and anxious smile. “In a few months, we start working on my clothes line collection” They stood in silence looking at each oher for about five seconds, Violet still with that huge grin and Fame was left speechless with wild eyes that got bigger with the time, everything was silence until her shout. “Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!, This is huge I´m so happy for you!” Fame hugged Violet again, but this time they couldn´t stop jumping around like teenagers. “I knowww, right?, but please don´t tell anyone, you are the only person in the world tha knows about this, well, apart from Miichelle, and Ru, but not even Pearl knows” “Really? Why not?, you and Pearl seem very close lately” Fame rememebered a few years ago when Violet had this strong crush on the girl, she never accepted it out loud though, but seeing as they were so close now, made her suspect some things, even if neither of them had confirmed anything yet. “I just want it to be a surprise” “Oh okay, well, anyway I´m so happy for you” They shared another hug before they started finally making their way to the reception vanishing in the small crowd of guests that were doing the same thing. “Oh and Fame?” Violet said once they were walking, Fame turned to see her, she was looking at the ground with a dreamy smile on her face, her aura was kind of insecure and vulnerable, something really rare in Violet. “Mmmh?” “I think I might be falling in love” Fame couldn´t be happier for her friend now, she could still listen to Violet telling her that she woud never fall in love, she could have affairs, lovers, even stable relationships, but love meant putting the other person first, on top of anything and anyone, including yourself, and nobody was worth more than her. Things had definitely changed in their time apart. “Really, how´s so?” “I don´t really know, I just think I find the right person you know?, the one that´s worth it” Her friend only smiled, held the girl´s hand, and squeezed it. She knew better than to push her, Violet would open up to her later, when she felt more secure about her feelings. “It must be a really great person” *** Willam sat in exactly the place she wanted, it was such a struggle to get it, but it was just the angle she needed so the pictures would come out perfectly, it wasn´t in the same table so it wouldn´t look suspicious but it was near and with the perfect view of Pearl. She had planned this for months now, and the fact that her friend Courtney was in the agency and going in dates with the feared Bianca Del Rio helped a lot. It wasn´t personal against Pearl, she just needed something fresh. “House of Eswards” was the main gossip center of all times, they started like a magazine, and now they even had their own T.V channel, they were a beast of the media, and they always got the biggest news in record time, but tonight things were going to change a little. Willam had made her way to the top of the ciberworld by her own resources, who doesn´t love a drag queen with the hottest gossips, and an even hotter personality?, her blog was now one of the most visited ones, and her youtube channel was just as famous. She started getting free tickets to cover events, and one of them was the anual anniversary of RuPaul´s Model Agency, but there was always a problem, sure people loved seeing pictures and interviews with beautiful models, but things were starting to get a little boring for her, and if she wanted to beat the House of Edwards for this one, she needed to do something about it. She smiled and looked at the hour in her cellphone, it was almost time. The place was starting to get full and after all the greetings and salutations, the people strated to go to their places, once Pearl was in her seat Willam knew it was just a matter of time before the real drama started. Michelle was the first one to talk, she went to the podium, that was in the middle of an scenario, that had a little runway to it. “Hello, welcome everybody, tonight we celebrate, as every year, the glory and success of our beloved agency, this started as a project to show the world that every person is different but equally gorgeous, we have in our hands a group of people that have fought to get where they are now, working and looking always…” Willam was constantly looking into Pearl´s direction, bearly hearing what Michelle was talking about, every year was the same anyway, they would talk about the work they have done, and how they are awesome, in fact, this all damn thing was to show off, she was sure. Her target was still the same way as she arrived, sure the girl always seemed a little high and sleepy, so it was difficult to see if it was working. “…Now, with that being said, let´s receive the creator of this wonderful company” As soon as those words left Michelle´s lips, the place got all dark with the exception of a reflector pointing to the same podium. Willam had her camera ready, this was always the best part, each year they seemed to get richer, and the event got fancier and fancier. The music started playing, and some different lights appeared making fugures in the background, the moment the bit of the music got faster, Ru appeared using an incredible dress, as always. Everybody got up and started clapping and screaming, Willam turned to see Pearl, only to find her in her feet and clapping lazyly, but she wasn´t sure if it was just because of the girl´s slow demeanor. When she sat down and stared in concentration to the front, she looked exactly the same way as she did in the beginnig. Willam checked her phone again, she was suppoused to be fainting by now, she groaned in exasperation and turned to the front to pretend she was listening. “… cause´ if you can´t love yourself, how the hell you are gonna love somebody else?” Everybody clapped again, and a video was projected in three different big screen, one above the podium and the other two at the sides. The video was the highlights of the year for each model, the center of attention being Alaska for what she accomplished, but almost every model got to appear, even if it was just in the background. Willam smiled as he saw Courtney and Alaska together in a shoot, Courtney had been friends with her since they moved together to New York, and she getting into the agency and becoming kind of famous about it, helped them both a lot, just like today, of course Courtney didn´t know anything about the Pearl thing, now that would be a problem. The girl also made her and Alaska become good friends, she could almost say they were her only two friends, it was weird, Willam never thought that her two bests friends were going to end up being supermodels, one of them super famous. They never went out in public, Alaska liked seeing Courtney and Willam in their apartment or vice versa, she hated dragging attention to them together for some reason. Then suddenly there was clapping again and Willam´s attention went back to Pearl, she was exactly the same way as always, something was wrong. The lights changed again, making the runway all blue, and all the girls that had once being the face of the agency started modelling, Alaska was a the end, and after all the girls divided into two lines, she walked through the space between them until she was at the front, making a pose and leaving everybody screaming, but Willam´s attention wasn´t on her again. Pearl was on her feet, but this time she looked a little more sleepy, she closed her eyes, and leaned on the table, holding it tightly with one hand. This was the moment. Willam took her camera, and held it close to her face, making sure she had the perfect vission of her. Then the model just closed her eyes and shook her head, then opened her eyes again, Willam´s mouth dropped, and then Pearl was clapping again like nothing happened. She put her camera down and stared in desbelief. “What the fuck?” She whispered, good luck nobody on her table was looking at her, they were all so bussy paying attention to Alaska, which she wasn´t, she had bigger problems right now. “What if she didn´t drink the all water?, what if she gave it to somebody else?” she thought, but that couldn´t be possible, she hadn´t thought about it, she herself watched her drinking it… before she went away with this other model, Violet, and what if she drank it?. She turned to see Violet with urgency,that could also work, but she prefered it was someone that wasn´t that important and not in the stage, but the girl seemed perfectly fine. She could feel her heart beating with force, she was nervous, and that didn´t happened often, maybe she was overreacting, maybe nobody drank it… Willam´s thoughts were interrupted by a gasp by someone on her table, making her turn her face inmediatly to the front, Alaska was giving her speech, or at least she was suppoused to be doing that, her eyes were closed and she was leaning on the podium, a loud gasp could be heard when her knees gave in and she had to almost hug the podium for support. “Fuck” Willam whispered again, this time full of fear and a, growing with the minute, regret. Just as some security dudes and a few guests started to make their way to the girl in order to help her, she fell to the floor unconscious. “Fuck, fuck, fuck…” Willam could her the screams, and all the people standing up and going to the front to see something, and Willam´s panic started getting bigger, just as eveyone elses. The security people were now gathered around the sleeping girl making everybody step back, and the flashes were all around tha place. She could see Laganja, the pothead dancer of House of Edwards get some good shots. This wasn´t suppoused to be this way, sure, the drama was bigger now, this was some high quality entertainment news, but that was her friend in there, she had chosen Pearl for a reason, besides the fact that it would have been so funny cause eveybody is making fun of her being a sleepwalker all the time, she was lowkey famous, which meant, nobody payed her enough attention, but everybody knew who she was, it would have been entertaining yet it wouldn´t have stole the show. An ambulance could be heard from affar, and Willam´s attention went back to all the people in the stage, and the doctors that were allready taking care of the girl, why the ambulance?, it was just a painkiller dissolved in water, the doctors there could take care of that, they could even wake her up now, of course she considered Pearl being healthy enough… She closed her eyes and tried not to think about the fact that she probably put in danger one of her friends, and on top of it all, she had nothing, a few pictures of Ru entrance, an interview with Alaska from a few hours ago and that was it, one force making her stay just where she was, and not going to the front to take the last pics of Alaska in the ground with the doctors, guilt. “Fucking fuck” *** Violet and all the models that were on the stage besides Alaska were now being dragged ou of it, they were instructed to join the rest of the guests, and Michelle would tell them what to do in a moment, Alaska´s health being the main prioritie right now. There was one feeling that could even be palpable at the moment, panic. Nobody knew what happened and sounds of the ambulance, that was now parked outside, didn´t make things any better. Violet searched Pearl with the sight finding her in a corner all alone, she turned to see her other companions, but they were all looking at each other talking about what just happened with concern, when no one was looking at her, she made her way towards her girlfriend. When she was in front of Pearl she could see the girl closing her eyes and holding the bridge of her nose, she only held the bridge of her nose when somethig was wrong. “Hey, what´s wrong Pearly?” she said taking her hands away from her face, interwining their fingers. “Nothing pumpkin, I just feel a little dizzy, I don´t know why” “Are you sure?, I mean Alaska was feeling just dizzy like 20 minutes ago” Violet answered allready feeling concerned. “Don´t worry, it´s fine I promise, I feel worse when I´m very high” The girl giggled and then leaned to give her girlfriend a sweet kiss. “Now who´s the one feeling bold?” Before Pearl could answer, someone calling the name of Violet broke the moment, the girls quickly stepped away from each other. “Oh Violet, it´s so nice to see you” “Hi Santino” Violet gave a quick hug to the man and then a kiss in the cheek. Santino used to work for the agency a long time ago, but he was still friends with Ru, so they would work together some times, that´s how he knew Violet, He had a clothes line, and recently he had opted for opening his own model agency, but in the past Violet had work for him, actually she assisted to many of his runways, and she always got the best dresses, Santino always used to tell her she was as beautiful as a doll and as graceful as a swan, she was his favourite in the industry, and that´s how they became friends. Pearl on the other hand, gulped and started counting the seconds until they could walk away from this man. “And hello miss Pearl” He said turning to look at her. Pearl faked her best smile and tried to hide the nerveousness that always came when she was near him. “Hello" That seemed to be enough for him, that just turned to look at Violet. "Have you been thinking in what I propoused you?” Pearl frowned, what exactly were they talking about? Violet laughed a little bit, and then looked at him shyly. “I´m afraid the answer is still a no” Santino had offered Violet many times to switch agencies, that she would be very welcomed in his agency, and of course she would have priorities, and maybe in another time Violet would have consider it, but since Ru Paul herself was taking the risk on invest in her and her clothes line, she couldn´t really complaint, actually she was more than grateful and happy and she wouldn´t change that for anything in the world. Santino laughed a little and then accepted the answer, not going further in the conversation. “If that´s the case, then I can only dream about it right?” Violet nodded still with a smile, she thought the conversation was over until one las comment was added. Santino turmed to look at Pearl directly at her eyes,who still had that akward uncomfortable demeanor. “Yeah, we´ll see” and with that, he gave one last smile to Violet and walked away. Pearl frowned again and started questioning what this was all about, she definitely didin��t like being around him, and she definitely hated her girlfriend being around him even more. Violet chuckled a little seeing as Pearl was so lost in her thoughts. “Hey, don´t laugh at me, you still have a lot of explaining to do” “Oh, do I?” Violet answered in a teasing tone. “Yes, like since when you and Santino are best friends?” At first Violet thought she was kidding, they would always play like that, teasing each other and making small fake dramas, but looking into Pearl´s eyes she could sense the girl was serious, she had an eyebrow raised and her mouth was a straight line, no hint of a smile in there. Violet laughed to herself a little and then leaned to whisper in her ear “So, I don´t know what´s with you today, or why are you acting so weird, Santino just want me to work with him, to which I ansewered with an ovbious no, but If we can stop talking about it, maybe I can start concentrating in what´s important, and start thinking how are you gonna make my night fun” she finished and then she bit the blonde´s earlobe, Pearl turned to see her with awe and biting her lip, she was right, the night was young, and with all of this happening tonight, they needed a stress relief. Michelle´s voice echoed through the place as she instructed everyone to go back to their places. They smiled to each other and Pearl watched her beautiful girlfriend walk to her table, she was so fucking lucky.
