If you know it in one glimpse it's legendary, you and I go from one kiss to getting married // He said he'd love me all his life, but that life was too short
If you know it in one glimpse it's legendary, what we thought was for all time was momentary // He said he'd love me for all time, but that time was quite short

Alien: Romulus really feels like the Alien equivalent of Rogue One to me
By that I mean both have great set design that fit in perfectly with the original, some great cinematography, and manage to make an iconic sci-fi villain scary again
But also that both have way too many references to the older movies, use CGI to bring back a dead actor in a way that feels unnecessary, and that the best character ends up being the robot

He pulled his hood up as he leaned against the wall, finally done with that stupid fight, Hayato wasn't even sure who they were, they just smelled trouble as the Storm fought and obviously won, but fighting with only his fists against knives sounded pretty dumb. As he got cuts and some stabbing.
He doesn't need another scar on his stomach as he slips down against the wall and finishes the first aid, soon after takes a cigarette and lit it up as he has a dark smirk. Sure he was glad that Tsuna wasn't around, apparently Reborn needed to up the new-adult training so they were away.
And Shamal wasn't around, so there was no one to actually stop the reckless Storm. Closing his eyes as he takes deep breaths.
Long hair hiding the eyes as the storms finally could shut the memories, the thoughts, how long... How long would he need to remember that guy? That guy LEFT, left for America. That was a clear sign of the breakup, so why... Why did his heart still...
No. It was just that he didn't know how to move on... Hayato just didn't know how to quiet his mind as he got up and walked towards a bar, the bartender already used to the storm, brought him a Balkan 176 Vodka, turning the shot in one go. Before having another.
His flames were his salvation and his curse, he wouldn't be able to actually be drunk with how strong the alcohol is, because his blood would burn a lot of it, but at least that way he could feel a bit drunk. As the storm gets up to walk into a side door.
That bar was already owned by Hayato, so clearly to say that as soon as he went to the side door, he was going to another that was a bedroom, falling into the bed. Usually used as a "free room". The high VIPs in that bar paid a lot of money to have a free body to do whatever they wanted, and the "free" body was him.
That way, that way he was too busy to actually give a fuck about what his memories brought him.
Say that is open to come in. He had a lot of cuts around his body, and first aid on his cheek and into the side of his abdomen, as the storms smokes. As he signals for letting the V.I.P. to get in. All he needed now was to get his mind fucked... Then maybe, maybe he would be able to sleep tonight.

“A heart’s a heavy burden”
extremely belated birthday gift for my best friend combining two of her favorite things (that have in turn become my favorites)
so enjoy Jacks and Evangeline from Stephanie Garber’s Once Upon a Broken Heart/The Ballad of Never After but with the meadow scene from Howl's Moving Castle bc there were too many parallels to that and the Hollow and i couldn't ignore them

It’s time for a sad thought that popped into my head this morning:
Despite splitting the initial pairings, Ashton is currently with the only two people in Bells Hells that consistently asked after them and made sure they didn’t leave them behind during the chef adventure. Which is super exciting for whenever we can get back to Team Wherever-the-Fuck, but ...
Team North Pole barely remembers he exists. They haven’t even tried sending to Ashton. When they woke up, FCG asked about Orym, as did Fearne, Imogen asked about Laudna, and someone only threw in Ashton as an afterthought. All Ashton’s abandonment issues really do feel like they’re confirmed (I know Team North Pole do genuinely care about them, and that they also seem to have forgotten Otohan murdered Laudna only a few weeks back, and forget that Orym’s entire family was murdered, so their memories are ... not spectacular). But still. There is a real tragedy to the fact that Ashton has always feared they would get left behind and forgotten, and they sort of seem to be at the moment.
