yes of course! i'd be happy to help (＾▽＾) since you mentioned spring, i like the idea of having "chun" (춘/春) in the name since it's the character for spring! some feminine combinations might be chunhwa/chunhua (춘화/春華) with hwa/hua (화/華) for brilliance (and it's also the hua used in the mount hua sect and can be read as blossoming!) or chunhee (춘희/春希) for spring and hope. a more masculine name could be chunwoo (춘우/椿優) as in camellias and excellence/superiority.

A big part of the reason I keep Ariane's timeline to three years, even though it definitely could go longer, is it's too immersion-breaking for me to have the twins still looking like kids if they're over 20. Even in Elezen lore (as they have slightly longer lifespans and later development), that is pushing it.

WIP Wednesday - New HuaLian AU

Chapter 1 - Prologue

Yin Yu’s job was far from easy. Being a senior member of the stage crew for a prestigious playhouse was enough on its own, with long hours and physically demanding work. But it was the “extra” job that often drove him to his wits end, though he would be the first to deny it and the last to show it. 

He did not realize when he volunteered to be assistant production manager that the job would transcend even unorthodox theater hours. Nor did he realize that it meant running errands for the production manager. 

Thankfully, after years of servitude, Yin Yu was quite good at it. 

He knew which papers to pick up on Mondays, which bakery resold their Sunday pastries at a discount, and that if he actually wanted to have a seat for his hour commute he had to get to the bus stop early. He knew which keys of many on his keyring unlocked the playhouse gate, the front door, and the front office. He could disarm the front house alarm in his sleep. His Monday morning routine was pleasant, albeit predictable. 

After he sat down the bag of pastries and drinks - a plain, hot black tea for himself and a cardamom coffee for his boss - he would begin sifting through the mail, sorting into piles based on addressee. The majority would be distributed by the office staff, but Yin Yu always handled the production and stage crews' mail. Usually the pile would yield nothing but junk, but today proved different. 

A single letter addressed to his boss on the playhouse owner’s unique letterhead. 

Yin Yu scooped up the pastries and drink tray and tucked the letter under his arm. His boss was fortunately always at the playhouse. It was just a matter of finding him. 

Like Yin Yu, though, Hua Cheng had his own Monday morning routine. And Yin Yu knew just where to find him.

(headcanon) freedom is near, only two more days until i can fully write again, so just to post something vaguely productive: in her college/film school years, agnès did the cinematography for some FMV (full-motion video) games, and she enjoyed it so much, it has become her go-to kind of project when she needs a break from the film industry and the festival circuit. they are not hugely popular as a genre, but she knows every developer and studio in that niche, and is contemplating writing one on top of filming the scenes.

I came across something I had written down about fifteen years ago after I started using cursive again in high school. Which uh. I only stopped doing after learning curvsive in second grade and kept it up until fifth grade, at which point a girl named Sarah told me I had the prettiest handwriting in the class and for some goddamn reason that pissed me the fuck off and I started intentionally making my handwriting the most chicken scratch printing I could slap on a paper, and kept doing it until like the middle of sophomore year. At which point I realized why I hated to write things by hand is because my wrists were shit even then and the constant lifting and dropping up and down motions was murder in comparison to the mostly smooth gliding of cursive. Anyway I had just assumed I permanently wrecked my penmenship by then and my cursive has since always been barely legible to me but everyone else thinks it's fancy by virtue of being cursive, but the little bit of wordage I have scrawled down in the margins of printout is like? Very pretty? What the fuck how did my handwriting degrade so much lol
