there is some symbolism iv never considered in that one episod of pt5 where zenigata rescues fujiko before she kills lupin
#there are many timelines and variations in lupin as a serie so that every ship could work#in my own prefered timeline lupin finally gets the hint that fujiko plays him like a fiddle#to me she does like him but he is an instrument to her#she is cold hearted and calculating and always thinking about relationships in terms of profit#i got some ideas abt her background that justify this. essentially she kills the detective that is after her and with that kills#the soft part of her that she couldnt control before#eventually and despite his affection lupin gives up the objectifications and the desires he projects onto fujiko#whom uses his delusions like a master tbh#thus allowing himself to consider zenigata. he plays with zenigata the way fujiko plays with him#hes just not as calculating. he feels pity and remorse where fujiko doesnt#he finds the thrills and the doubts and the lack of trust and the risk of betrayal in zenigata. the things that he loves the most#he isnt about stability. he thrives in the unknown. he loves that zenigata could backstab him and does so sometimes#and in that lack of stabilty some form of stability builds up. there is familiarity#and most importantly there are rare times when they can put the game aside and just chill#just enough to gather the energy to go back to trying to kill each other#plus zenigata pampers him during those breaks and he loves that#he acts with carelessness but he does care. in that regard he looses to fujiko#at least thats how she sees it. he doesnt see caring as a flaw#and zenigata is so sweet. he really is. and lupin loves to stirr up the crazy in him#fucking loonies the both of them#so in essence zenigata doesnt really 'save' him from fujiko but he becomes lupins new favourite toy to throw around#fujiko is only upset that because of that ugly looser of a detective her grip on lupin is loosening#she does find ways to use that newly developed affection luzeni has to her advantage thou#lupin is still her instrument she just drags zenigata along now#fujiko is such a good and interesting character and deserves so much better honestly#despite my love for TWCFM i wish there was another serie centralized around her where her ruthlessness is examined#and her cunning is studied. and the proper law enforcement she should face the same way lupin does#shes like a million times smarter and more ressourceful than him. steals much more. embezzles. manipulate#lupin is just a small time pickpocket next to her. she isnt about stealing a painting shes about emptying the pockets of the richest men in#the world. her goals are much more ambitious

#unless ofc you play tf2#but STILL like. ive seen so many bullshit rebalances for spies and snipers#and like. ik the current system is plain tiring to fight against but these people WOULD MAKE IT WORSE#i just saw a post about fallout 4 changes#and some of them are obvious. like changing danses dialogue after blind betrayal etc#but like. NO. some of these.....#WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO REPAIR NICKS FACE?#1 thats his charm. hes old and broken down. 2 it would NOT help his identity issues#like this is the face and hes made it his own. hes no longer an institute synth AND he's no longer the pre-war human detective valentine#also romancing him....eh. i admit i would also love to romance him#but to quote one of the disco elysium creators: the thing about desires is that theyre much stronger when theyre not fully satiated#thered for sure be still nick simpers ofc. as am i. but imo i think thered be less#and again coming back to tf2. i saw recently a post on reddit that made a concept sapper for spy to use on medics#and like please 😭😭😭you want to sap the medigun? you want to sap übercharge? you want to hurt medics EVEN MORE?#playing med well is hard enough as is normal girl. there was a comment down below saying that the spy should have sappers for each class#and WHAT. STOP. the spy ALREADY has a way to hurt all classes!#if he gets close enough he either dies immediately or backstabs! why do you want to sap too!#and spy is already SPECIFICALLY a counter to engie! and gets countered by pyro! its a good balance imo#ofc theres some tweaks to be made for each class but CMON. thatd be a HUGE rework for spy#and some other comment said that a sapped medigun should hurt teammates. It would be an understatement to say Silas wasn't sure how to react, he took a long moment to stare at the gift. This was the second time someone had given him something. His expression shifted from confusion to worry before settling into something more neutral as Malachi explained.
He didn't say anything at first, he was almost completely lost for words. Only being able to give a small puzzled sound before he hushed up again. It was after a long and awkward silence that he finally spoke up. Unlike his previous loud and over-the-top persona his voice was low and quiet. Barely loud enough to be heard, he seemed to be his genuine self in this moment.
It was obvious he wanted to ease their worry, possibly reassure them. But he couldn't, he couldn't possibly say it, not with all the people he let down. Those he ultimately left betrayed by his impulsive and self-destructive actions. Now that another person was willingly putting trust in him after all these years he wasn't about to make a false promise and ruin their hopes.
With a final sad glance at them, the Zoroark nervously put the item into his bag. Rather than closing it and moving on, he began to carefully go over everything. He shifted things to the side every so often as he appeared to be looking for something, something he could give them. After a while of searching, he finally pulled something small out of his bag.
"It was mine before I was forced to evolve." He quickly cringed at the thought before he continued, his voice still quiet, "My mo- I mean. My trainer gave it to me a long time ago... All it does is remind me of something I never wanted." He sighed holding it out, "Just don't break it, Please. If you don't want it. Just give it to someone who needs it more. I don't care. It's probably worthless to you anyway."
Despite claiming to not care, It was clear it pained him to give up one of his sentimental items to them, but he was too dead set on paying Malachi back to care for his own feelings at the moment.
Begrudgingly he gave the Jirachi the strange stone before he turned away, his usual rude tone quickly returning to cover up any vulnerability that might have slipped out. Silas threw them the best glare he could muster up. "Don't say I owe you anything. Alright? I don't want you knocking on my fuckin' door like a debt collector."
"I don't owe you shit, so don't say I do."

hot bully take: there are so many complex group relationship dynamics being portrayed in bully and im honestly tired of how the fandom waters most of them down to "oh theyre all besties"
#the preps most frequently fall victim to this i think#you got these rich kids that would clearly backstab each other and weve got the fandom pretending they all like to go on shopping trips or#bake cookies or whatever which is like. disappointing considering how the power struggle is so interesting#im also not fond of how the preps are dumbed down in general but like. thats another topic#the same thing also happens w the jocks but to a lesser extent. especially w ted and damon's relationship#like theres so much potential for expanding on the jock hierarchy and how it affects their relationships which is just wholly ignored#the nerds and the greasers can arguably be considered as loyal to one another but even then i dont think its all sweet either#especially w the greasers and their disdain for lola and her relationship w johnny#bottom line: being in a clique together doesnt mean these people automatically like each other#i could go on but like im admittedly not as familiar w the townies and w the bullies (tho ill argue that theyre the most loyal)#anyways this isnt to rain on anyone's parade or anything you can ofc enjoy whatever hcs you want tho#i just wish there was more room for complexity since theres so much potential#bully scholarship edition#bully cce

i think tf2 could really use a "behind you" command
#like in the past week ive had at LEAST 5 situations where i wished i could give a quick. that#mostly concerning spies#like sure 'spy!' is a command but 1) its so overused that almost noone reacts to it 2) its not specific. ok but spy WHERE#it comes up a lot in mvm#like the time i was running from respawn and my team was fighting the tank as a group. i was still far but i suddenly saw myself behind them#i yelled 'spy' while running to them but it wasn't enough and 2 got fucking killed. bc yknow. ok spy but where#or the time i was up on the roof with a medic that for some reason decided im worth healing the whole round (that's rare). we heard-#-the spy alert and i turned my attention away from sniping to watch out for the spy. medic didn't. he was standing a few ft behind me#i see a 'scout' running up towards medic out the corner of my eye. hes not seeing it.#i ran and miraculously managed to kill the spy with a pan RIGHT as he was starting the backstab#and like ok that made me feel good about myself and like i repayed the medic at least partially. but yknow. still way too close for comfot#(for context my turning isn't very good bc i'm using touchpad instead of mouse for looking around. so thats part of the reason i wish i -#-could warn people about danger that im unlikely to get to fast enough yknow)#anyway. ramble over sorry. im having game thoughts#ramble#tf2

Hahaha that's a funny question. I actually haven't read Bloodborne fanfics yet because I just usually don't read fanfics...? I am always too bouncy with my free time! 'Oh I need to work on my drawing oh I need to hang out with that friend oh I need to play a game oh I need to take a long walk while weather is still great oh I need to write that theory oh I need to figure that out' etc...
Just no way to organize my spare time. I create so many thoughts that I can't just stop, relax and consume thoughts instead. XD It is the curse of ADHD and overly rich imagination, man. But, I need to at least write my own fanfics. I have so many BB stories in my head that it'd be a shame if they never got told. Though learning how to draw/plot mangas so I can tell them visually seems like a way more efficient option for me! I don't like to describe places, but I like having solid "excuse" to draw this or that character.
However I'd be really interested in reading fanfics that have to do with Byrgenwerth or School of Mensis! And also... please, if you know genuinely high quality (and elaborate?) fanfics about Edgar x Micolash - share. Please this is my favorite ship but since I care about it so much I demand for it to be handled with GREAT care and GREAT psychology/context. Tbh the first fanfic I do want to write has to do with how they became a thing because I have one cool story based off my theory!

actually specifically for anon, a, post about dbs:
something that really stuck with me was how shanefrost said something about how being on the train for so long really distanced cond from his loved ones. i apply this statement to the game in that, when his train isnt concerned, hes far more chill and sort of lonely, but nonetheless content. hes still snarky in his own old bird way, but less genuinely angry and more playful, even if in a way that still shows he doesnt have much respect for people other than himself. i dont think hes necessarily completely unhappy with his life. its more a desert: really hot in daytime and freezing at night. he enjoys and chooses his train and movies over people, not pushing them away but just lacking any drive to get closer in a way that matters. i imagine when calm hed love to tell some stories from his life or whatever, especially to hat/bow/mu. hes just a weird person. its okay
