Raincode Tarot Cards Art Challenge 

I think it would be fun if the community did an art challenge where they give each raincode character a respective tarot card arcana! Special thanks to the artists on Discord for furthering expanding on the idea! 

To be honest, I wanted to try and draw this myself but I realized this would be a great community challenge! Cause there's so many Raincode characters and Major/Minor Arcanas too. Also, everyone has different arcana interpretations for each character. It’ll be fun to see everyones interpretation for this challenge. 

For those unfamiliar with Tarot Cards (me included) here's a simple explanation of what it is~

Tarot cards are split into two groups: The major arcana and minor arcana 

For this challenge you can draw any Raincode character you like and assign them to an arcana which you think suits them the most! You can draw a single card or the full deck (all 78 cards) its totally up to you!! The important thing is you have fun!

Rules:

You can select from both arcanas (major/minor)

You can draw or write as many characters as you like! (there's no restriction or limit)

Both digital art and traditional art are okay! 

If you prefer writing. You can write the character you want and your reasons/ symbolization for why the arcana you selected suits them best.

There’s no deadline~ Take things at your own pace

Draw however you like it! You don't have to reference the arcana card to a perfect T. 

Don’t repost someone else’s artwork, trace, or use AI art.

Don’t draw anything that’ll break community guidelines (NSFW, political, etc..)

If there are any spoilers in your art or writing please remember to tag spoilers!

Edit: tfw when u create a fair amount of fanart for the author and commish a 40$ fic only to be mistreated and never get ur money back lol. Got a refund :) Wish the emotional anguish thing never happened but ill heal. They also gaslight on the reg so keep that in mind. if someone told me back in January 2022 i would become an amogus fan/simp for MEN i would laugh. YET HERE WE ARE.

Some of the main characters from @crinklytinfoil ‘s series that is currently causing severe brainrot. @krysmcscience is to blame bcs if it were not for their fanart i wouldnt know abt the fic oops... (also it is a dead dove fic so check it out at your own discretion!)

About time I finally did this properly, lol

Welcome, welcome! This Shine, she/they, chaotic artist and writer, here to share my art on this sideblog (I follow from @shine-reblogs). I mostly make art about my OCs (from fandom and original universes) and whatever strikes my fancy xD

Here are some examples of my art! :D

The fandoms I post about the most/have OCs for are: The Arcana, Submachine, and Pokemon Reborn. To a lesser degree there's TMA, Errant Kingdom, and others.

As for original universes: I have many but am not really focused on them right now. You might want to check my Toyhouse to check them out ^^

Last but not least, I tag everything with its fandom or original universe for easy navigation, so if the hellsite is cooperating you should be able to find stuff easily.
