Some of you lack critical thinking and it shows bc how are you gonna say it’s a love album about m*tty when there’s at best 4 songs about him out of 31? Like… did we listen to the same album..????

just listened to the whole "the tortured poets department" that just dropped by taylor swift

clara bow got me feeling so emotional. who's afraid of little old me gave me confidence. I can do it with a broken heart gave me strength. guilty as sin made me feel uncertainty. the smallest man who ever lived was how I felt after my situationship ended badly. it's surprising how much I can relate to each and every one of the song lyrics - and how I've felt exactly the same at different points of my life.

and listening to this album made me realise that jack antonoff really has a distinct sound for the songs he produces! a lot of the songs that he worked on with taylor for this album had that very similar bleachers vibe, which I absolutely adore.

good job, taylor. we love you ❤️

my biggest takeaway from ttpd is i made a good call changing my name bc i don't even go by Ch**e except at work and it's still ! painful seeing giant swathes of bloggers misspell that name especially when everything else in the post is spelled right
