I love horror movies, but the tendency of filmmakers to make the whole fucking thing so goddamn dark that you can't see what's happening makes me SO ANGRY
You take away any and all suspense and horror in the film because I cannot see a single fucking thing that is happening and I get so mad that I can't enjoy your film
Having to google after the film is over to see what the bad guy even looked like because I couldn't fucking see it?? The grand reveal has so meaning whatsoever because I can't fucking see what you're doing!!!
I'm so fucking annoyed and so frustrated by it because I love horror but they make it so inaccessible to watch and enjoy
You can make a movie at night and still let your audience SEE!!! FUCKING CHRIST

I liked The Boogeyman bc it didn’t explain away everything, they don’t go through the whole stereotypical lore session giving an answer to everything. It was truly a fun spooky tale.

So, I just finished watching the new 2023 horror film 'The Boogeyman', and I have but one singular thought in my head...
Yeahhhhh...there's both 'NSFW' content and a movie spoiler under the cut.
If you've already seen the movie, oh, you already know...
This is the very first thing I thought of when it opened it's mouth and arms came out of it...
Just imagine being pinned down with one set of arms while another set spreads you wide open so a long, sinuous and mobile tongue can plunge and writhe and thrash deeper than anything else ever could...
Hey, Rita Billings did say, "It likes to play with it's food..."
