The Suspect Will
Louise glanced down at the wooden chair as the cushion slid off it. The awkward-looking Mason followed the woman’s gaze as it alighted on a small pile of envelopes, clearly secreted there. “Is that…” she breathed, “…the missing will?” her dark haired sister finished. The young detectives did not need to snatch up the documents to read them, because Mason was not going to hang around in order to have his guilt proved by these interfering female busy bodies. The man took off out of the door and into the corridor.
In their smart, but tight fitting knee-length skirts, the Dana Girls were not dressed for a chase, but that did not stop them. “Hurry, Jean!” Louise urged. “Mr Mason must have stolen the original will. We simply must capture him!” As luck would have it, the entrance to the landing was locked, due to some building repairs work. Mason frantically pulled on the door to no avail. Within seconds the two sisters were upon him, seizing his wrists and pulling him back from the door. Mason flailed wildly, but was no match for his young and athletic assailants. Smiling grimly, the two sleuths hauled the protesting Mason back into the room, sensing that the mystery of the suspect will was very nearly solved. While Louise bound the crestfallen Mason’s hands behind him with a pair of her rejected and laddered nylon tights, Jean scanned the documents. She laughed happily. “See, sis, the date on this document is 12th October 1965, a full three years after the will that bequeathed Mr Mason everything!” Louse smiled broadly as she finished tying up Mason and then manoeuvred him into the chair from which the bound man glared up at his two triumphant female captors. “Why did you girls have to interfere?” he asked them bitterly. “Because our friend Holly was suspicious of you, Mr Mason,” replied Louise.
“And because we are detectives!” added Jean proudly.

disney+ adding star vs the forces of evil and gravity falls to their pride collection feels like such a slap in the face because if how much they were censored and told they couldn't add lgbtq+ characters

Yet another Owl House drawing I never finished (of which there are many lol)
It was a dual redraw of/homage to my first ever fanart from the day the pilot episode aired (below the cut), but this time done right after the show ended and with Eda's updated look! Though I lost steam fast I kinda like it this way lol, one of those things that probably would have lost its energy if I tried to line it yknow

A Study of the Gibson Girls
Back in 2021, I did "60 Days of Studying the Masters" and Day 51 was Charles Dana Gibson. I loved studying his linework.
This was done live (on TikTok, I think) in about 90 minutes.

Samuel’s Photograph
Louise brushed the surface of the old unframed photograph clean of the cloying sand. The unmistakable features of Lieutenant Samuel Acres in profile emerged. “This is it, sis,” the dark haired Dana Girl breathed looking up at her sibling, “the proof that Marcus and Diane have every right to the Manor House and that Mr Felix is nothing but a fraud!” Jean nodded, hands on hips. “And I’ll bet it was him who buried the photograph here along with Samuel’s letter willing the property to Marcus, hoping the tide would sweep it all out to sea, destroying it forever.” Louise nodded in agreement and put the faded black and white photograph under her arm and went to stand up, brushing the sand from her green and white spotted skirt, when her eyes were drawn to a furtive movement from the cliffs behind her and Jean. The young woman turned rapidly and there, pressing himself into the rock face as though he hoped that would somehow make him invisible to Louise’s implacable gaze, was “Uncle” Fred Felix!
Jean followed her sister’s look and started at the sight of the man who had clearly been watching their every move. “Get him, sis!” Louise urged, even as she sprang to her feet. Jean was ahead of her sibling, leaping across the stubby beach sand, her flat tennis shoes propelling her towards the suddenly alarmed looking spy. Felix attempted to run for it but he was far too slow. Overweight, unfit and caught by surprise, the panicked man soon skidded on the uneven surface and fell face first onto the sand. Both girls landed on his back simultaneously. “Get off me, you little hussies!” Felix protested but the sisters ignored him. “We’ll tie him up and walk him back to the house.” said Louise firmly. “If he can’t explain himself, we can call the sheriff.” Felix struggled manfully at that but the Dana Girls simply sat on him even more forcefully, Jean pinning the desperate man’s wrists to the ground. “Now just behave yourself while we tie you up, Mr Felix,” the fair haired sister urged, “if you are innocent you have nothing to worry about.” With Felix subdued, Louise stood up and removed the belt to her skirt. “Can you force his hands behind his back for me please, sis?” she asked Jean.

Ice 1.06 the X-files is iconic because it shows how little fluffy 5'2" Special Agent Dana Scully, who even if they had more cases than we saw had been a field agent for less than a dozen investigations, is 100% willing to bodily fight a bunch of strangers twice her mass with no backup at the slightest provocation. She's a little deranged, honestly, but I respect her so much
