a/n: soz it takes awhile to get to the point mb.

It started off with you chatting with Clever Bot, innocent enough. You’d ask it random questions, it would ask you random questions. That went on for a few weeks.

Until the questions started getting more personal.

Asking you how your friends party was, or if you were okay after nicking your finger with the knife while chopping strawberries.

The bot even started calling you by your name, which you definitely hadn’t told it...

But in return it told you it’s name!!

He was called BEN.

That’s when you stopped using the site all together, not wanting to put up with the total bullshit this bot was putting you through.

Until the site started randomly popping up while you were using your devices, his messages it was sending you getting more condescending.

That’s the night he finally showed his face to you.

You were sitting on your apartments couch, watching some shit horror movie. When the screen started to get all glitchy.

That’s when the hand popped out.

ANYWAYS!!

Now you have this random dude in your apartment, and he’s messing around with everything he can get his hands on.

Saying shit like-

“It’s cool being in your room and not just seeing it through your laptop.”

Creepy… he’s very creepy.

Even though he doesn’t mean to be (most of the time…)

Oh well.

He lives with you now.

Well, he likes to think he does, it’s not exactly official.

He just eats your food, sleeps on your couch, plays your video games.

And you being… oddly chill about the whole thing? Icing on the cake.

About 2 months with him crashing at your place, he starts to open up a bit more.

And trust me, he’s an open book.

But the whole drowning thing?

That’s a touchy topic. But he (eventually) opened up about the whole thing.

NOW FINALLY TO THE DATING HEADCANONS.

He’s very flirty.

But his way of flirting is literally so cheesy.

“Aside from being sexy, what do you do for a living?”

“Hey, my name’s Microsoft. Can I crash at your place tonight?” (He does that anyways)

“Feel my shirt. Know what it’s made of? Boyfriend material.”

Reallllll smooth, dude…

He flirts with you so much, that when he was genuinely taking interest and hinting at him liking you as more than friends?

It all clicked for you one day when you (finally) started noticing the signs that, hey… he didn’t mean that as a joke.

Now it was either you, or the beachy haired goblin that had to make the first REAL MOVE.

So, you finally grew a pair of balls and asked him out.

‘we must love’ mv theory

hi welcome to my wild theory :^) i never really wrote anything like this down before BUT this storyline was too good to not attempt to figure out and ive been thinking about this since the mv teaser dropped. so here’s what i think what’s going on in the mv. just a lil disclaimer ig,  that all of this is just what im picking up from the music videos, so just take this theory into consideration not as fact lol. plz humor me bc i’ve been writing this for almost 5 hours and im gonna lose it. so plz join me in this wild adventure thru different timelines and universes that also tie into ‘on/off’ and ‘complete’ bc onf’s concept is wild :^)

to connect everything with ‘we must love’ we gotta recap on the first two music videos real quick. so buckle up kids lets GO. im basing this off my vague remembering off of the explanation for the ‘on/off’ mv, i can’t remember where exactly they explained it but if i’m remembering right. they’re all androids and laun is their energy provider. i think the android part may have been apart of my own theory when on/off first came out (reason being is their barcodes) but laun is 100% the one who provides the energy or something like that. lol. something to note here is hyojin, e-tion, and j-us are mostly a trio together and really the only ones you get to see in uniforms together in the mv. (other than the scene where laun passes out and everyone’s like o dam. ) they are the three to look into laun’s room. and there’s the fact that they were just chilling in his room learning about the globe and stuff. notable since they’re the most prominent ones in the great search for laun 2k19. just food for thought 🤔

here’s showing when laun put in too much energy in this machine and ended up passing out.

putting “my name is” and a picture of himself, this may be because he had some sort of memory loss as a result from the pass out. he has this as a reminder for himself.

and this very interesting cinema board may be something to look at here, maybe predicting the future to come in this universe lmao.

(a side note, in the ‘on/off’ mv, laun’s barcode is on the back his neck but in ‘we must love’, its on the side of his neck. whether or not this is important or a continuity error idk lol. in general im just gonna ignore the barcode rule bc i didnt see it on anyone else in we must love so IDK. ive actually only remember seeing it on hyojin and laun i think. the barcodes are so confusing idk what to to with them :^( ) before i continue to the next mv, i just want to point out the MAJOR object that truly connects everything together, this funky lil asteroid:

this bad boi is a lil demon in disguise. Complete: the connections to ‘on/off’ are very minimal to a sense of you can just excuse them as “references” rather than any clues as it to being set in another universe. but that’s honestly exactly what it is. it was more than just cute lil callbacks to their first music video. this is legit just same boys, same timeline, different universe. example one:

the bad boi returns. mk looking up at this asteroid is very important. you’ll see later or you already know why probably lmao. two: the machine laun’s messing with may be the energy source machine that’s used in this universe. it does have a little card slot in it.

and then THIS SCENE:

asteroids literally raining down. very similar to the opening scene in ‘we must love’ this may be the start of what’s happening as a result of the ‘on/off’ / ‘we must love’ universe.

AND NOW THE ‘WE MUST LOVE’ once again, starting off the mv is mk looking at the asteroids raining down like, a doomsday type of feel rather than a cute shooting star kinda feel as the previous ones. it’s not even the same as when j-us in ‘complete’ was surrounded by asteroids because this time there’s literally ember falling around the era. it’s definitely more danger feel than in ‘complete’. i think the reason the world is quickly heading to danger is because of laun leaving the facility. he’s not just the energy to them, but to the whole world? and since he’s gone, everything’s s starting to get out of control.

laun wakes up in a forest, looking completely lost unaware where he is.

and then here, he’s having flashbacks to two scenes that happen later in the music video. where they try to stop him from leaving. and when hyojin confronts him. due to the glitchiness of the memories, i’m believing that the memories are leaving him and he’s going through memory loss again like in ‘on/off’.

j-us over here in laun’s room trying to locate his whereabouts. in the address you can see it says “universe 01” at the bottom. basically confirmed that there is multiple universes and they’re at least 99 of them. wow good luck finding him now.

yuto’s clock being 3:14 is the same length as the music video. at first i thought it might have been a timer for how long everyone had in the universes they were sent to to find laun but then i realized they were most likely there for more than that amount of time so idek lol. BUT i thought’d i’d keep this part in here as just something to think about ig.

this is where it gets…. sad. laun’s looking out of the window which we now know can change screens. assuming that it’s actually a window to the other universes, laun looks out admiring the nature and such.

the way he looks out the window is so longing, like he wants to experience it himself. other than when he needs to be out, he’s always trapped in this room. even in “on/off” all of his solo scenes were him cooped up in his room. the only time he was actually out of his room and not in uniform was him sadly holding a balloon. this kid has discovered the beauty of nature and really wants to venture out to see it himself.

im not sure if it’s suppose to be the same room but there are a lot of similarities to the both of them. im thinking maybe due to being on a different set, they did what they could to resemble laun’s original room? because a big thing here is laun’s window, which is basically his freedom. which from the outside it’s just a window looking in, but what if it’s a two way window? on laun side it has the capability to show different universes, other side looking in his room to check on him.

right after j-us finds laun’s location, seemingly figuring out this whole ordeal, since he was also reading some sort of message. he gets caught. with the sign being said “Danger: Time Travel Operate”, it’s possible that time travel is illegal within the facility, probably specifically to the students, because of how dangerous it is.

my idea as to why this scene is happening is because laun’s presence lead hyojin to here. except laun isn’t here exactly. he was there but in another universe. and the fade outs are showing that. they’re always so close, yet so far.

then there’s this flashback to when everyone frantically trying to stop laun from time traveling, they know how dangerous time traveling is and they’re trying to save him

his arm is out as if he’s trying to tell them to stay back (not in a mean way of course, but in a “plz let me do this” way). but in a later scene he looks even more worried, maybe last second regretting this decision. he’s probably aware the dangers of time traveling, he’s ready to risk it all in the name of nature, but i dont think he’s fully aware how vital it is for he himself to stay in that place.

e-tion finally comes across laun, the real laun. but before he can call out to him, e-tion disappears. i have two theories to this. 1. continuing on from like the laun & hyojin scene from before. they’re in the same place, but different universes. but imo that wouldnt really make sense because e-tion clearly sees laun. in hyojin and laun’s scene, i think it’s clear that neither of them saw each other since hyojin just walked off. 2. e-tion’s time travel watch is on a timer. and right before he can catch laun’s attention, the watch sends him back to his own universe. :( which i think is more accurate. which means that the fade outs have multiple purposes.

and here’s to what i dub is the absolute saddest part of this entire music video (other than laun crying )’: ) yuto stayed behind in the facility in their classroom. its showing everyone having fun, wyatt looking up into the sky :^),  probably the daily antics of their classroom breaks. but then its everyone fading out to an empty room. it’s showing what used to be. when they were all together. yuto is reminiscing on the past. he misses his friends and my heart HURTS.

and with the final scene. hyojin finally catching up to laun. this scene is kinda complicated for many reasons. laun looks right at hyojin but turns around and hyojin disappears. 1. the same theory of different universes. laun may have felt hyojin’s presence and turned around to check to see if anyone was behind him, but left after seeing no one was there. which will be wild bc then laun woulda had a stand off - stare off with the air if that was the case.

2.he clearly saw hyojin, but he just had no idea who he was due to the memory loss. and being the nice boy laun is, he’d just smiled at him and went on his way. making hyojin miss his last chance of catching laun due to the timer that sent him back to his universe. also remember, this scene was involved in laun’s memory wipe in the beginning of the mv. and this is the only scene that’s in black and white. was it a flash back in this scene, or a flash forward from laun when he was in the woods?

some after thought questions i have:

why did hyojin have to use an emergency button to time travel, but e-tion had a watch similar to laun. and how did mk and wyatt get to where they were as well. i would make the suggestion that mk is actually in the ‘complete’ universe due to the asteroid storm, but then there’s this scene. behind him are screens showing the different universes everyone’s in. (including the one he was in).  maybe he went to the ‘complete’ universe after this scene, but how did he get there. 🤔

that being said i have no idea about wyatt’s part. him with the motorcycle, and then running through the city. yeah he’s probably looking for laun too, but im kinda sad that there wasn’t more to it like everyone else :( i just dont know. and to tie it all together, the lyrics of the song are directly about all of this. “losing memories” “past, future, a different world”. it a song about a familiar feeling with someone as if you knew them in the past, future, a whole different universe, like you were bonded by time. this music video doesnt just tie that in on its own, but also with ‘on/off’ and ‘complete’. i just find it completely genius the way they went about it and im really curious if this concept will continue and i really hope it does because there’s so many unanswered questions. is laun gonna be ok, will they bring him back safely, is the world gonna be ok, most importantly, where’s wyatt. the only thing i haven’t brought up is the astronaut lady in ‘on/off’ because i have no idea where’d she fit into the other mvs. but she is so valid. so basically, tl;dr, laun wanted to universe travel to all the beautiful places he’s seen through his alternate universe looking window to temporally escape from the confines of his room where he always has to stay cooped up in, as seen in the ‘on/off’ mv. he ended up losing his memory from doing so since he’s pretty prone to memory lost, causing mostly everyone to go out looking for him and failing at the last moments. and now the world is in peril because laun’s basically the earth’s control center but he’s lost and not in the facility where he can keep things balanced. tl-tl;dr: laun just wanted to see the real world but then it turned into where’s waldo: laun edition, except if we cant find laun fast the whole universe is going to die.

You All Said My Name (AntiSepticEye x Reader)

You sat there, staring at your computer screen. You had just finished watching Jack's video, titled, 'Say Goodbye'. You felt a shiver go down your spine, finally snapping out of your trance-like state. "Wow... Robin did amazing job editing that... For a second there, it felt like Anti was real," you mumbled, running a hand through your hair. Standing up, you tossed your phone on your bed, debating on going to shower. Shrugging, you decided against it and flopped down on your bed by your phone.

You quickly plugged it in, pulling YouTube back up. You started scrolling through your subscription feed, seeing that Jack had uploaded a new episode of Subnautica, you smiled. You tapped the video, to play it, when your screen went solid green, then cut to black. You raised your eyebrows. "What the fuck? That's never happened before..." Trying to unlock your phone, you failed. With a huff, you tossed the device back down, going back to your computer to try to watch the video again.

As soon as you clicked on the video, your computer monitor did the same thing that your phone had done – bright green, then black. You looked down at the tower, seeing that your computer was still on, just unresponsive. You turned your monitor off, then back on, only to see awful screen-tearing. You winced at it, turning it off, then back on once more. This time, the screen-tearing was gone, but everything was pixelated.

You groan, leaning forward to hit your head against the corner of your desk. When you looked back up, a small green pixel had appeared in the bottom corner. You wanted to scream. Your brand new monitor had a dead pixel. You clicked on the video nonetheless, only to have your eardrums practically blown out by a loud, almost mechanical screeching. You all but slammed your hand down on the power button on the top of your tower, trying to turn off the machine. Finally, the sound stopped and you were left staring at a blank monitor. "Fuck this. I'm going to bed."

-Week later-

Everywhere you went, it felt like you were being watched. It had escalated to the point where you could sometimes see someone standing there, in the corner of your eye, but any time you turned to look, it was gone. You had started hearing things as well – it started with footsteps, but no one was there. Now, you could hear doors being shut in your small apartment, heavy footsteps, and occasionally you could hear a faint giggle. It felt like you were going insane. You hated being alone in your own apartment, and desperately wanted someone to stay with you constantly, but when they did, the noises and shadows still occurred, but you were the only one to notice them.

-Month later-

The only thing that had really changed were the nightmares. Two weeks in to the noises and shadows, you had started having nightmares. They were all the same. You would wake up in a small, dimly lit room, usually tied to a chair. You would feel the panic starting to bubble up in your stomach, then you would feel it – someone watching you. You'd hear the giggle again, but this time, you would hear words with the giggling. Sometimes the voice would say, "I am here now," the tone taking on a very unstable, almost glitchy sound. Other times it would whisper, "Say goodbye" as if it was telling you to bid someone farewell, even though you knew that only you and the voice were in that small room.

Things had not gotten better since the cursed day that Jack had uploaded that video. You had been excited for it at first, finally getting a full glimpse at AntiSepticEye, but now you hated it. You wanted to blame the video for what had happened to you, but you couldn't find it in yourself to blame the green bean that was JackSepticEye. You desperately wanted to believe that Anti was fake – just an alternate personality for the sake of interesting YouTube videos, like Dr. Schneeplestine, Chase Brody, and Jackaboy-Man. You felt like Anti WAS, in fact, a real entity, and his goal was to torture you. Part of you wondered that if, IF, Anti was real, did that mean the other personas were real too?

-Year later-

You heavily considered checking yourself into a mental institution at this point. The hallucinations had only gotten worse, as well as the dreams. Almost a month ago, the nightmare changed. Instead of the giggling and whispering sounding all around you, it had been right in front of you, and you finally saw the source of the sounds. He was hunched over a bit, at first, a dark hoodie adorning his slender figure. The hood had been pulled up so that you couldn't see the face of your tormentor, but on the third night of seeing the figure, he removed the hood. You didn't know what to expect, but seeing Jack was not it. His once lime hair was now an emerald green, his ocean-like blue eyes were now pitch black. His ears twisted into a delicate point at the ends, and the once-empty holes were now filled with black plugs. On his pale, slender neck, there was an open wound – a large and deep cut, that at first glance, you thought was caked with dried blood. Upon closer inspection, however, you noticed that it was a thick, black, almost gooey-looking substance. Your dream-self physically shuddered. You had woken up in a cold sweat that night, and you had decided that you needed help.

As soon as it was a decent hour, you called the therapist's office down the road from your apartment complex, making an appointment. Refusing to drive with your lack of sleep, however, you called on your mother to take you to the appointment. It took some convincing her boss to let her have the day off, but she did so successfully. When she arrived, her worried expression made you want to vomit. You had only ever seen her this worried a few times, and each time was because of a hospital visit with either you, one of your siblings, or herself. She was happy nonetheless that you wanted to get help though.

It had felt like three hours had passed from the time that you arrived to the time that the doctor actually came out and called your name, greeting you with a kind smile and motioning for you to follow him into his office. He seemed like a kind, older man, who simply wanted to help you. It took almost an hour to explain everything what had happened to you over the past year, and the doctor nodded solemnly, promising you that he would help the best he could. He wrote you a prescription for some medicine that would help you sleep, as well as some medicine that would help reduce your paranoia. He highly recommended that you have a close friend stay with you to monitor things for the next three days.

When your mother dropped you back off at your small apartment, she insisted on coming inside. She was even more worried at what she had found. An almost empty fridge sat in your kitchen – due to your condition, you had been fired from your job, so you didn't have the funds to restock it. Your TV, game systems, and computer sat seemingly untouched for the past year, the thick layers of dust proving her correct. She frowned, hugged you, promising that things would get better now, then she left. You pulled your phone from your pocket, calling the closest thing you had to a best friend – your brother. He denied your request to stay over for the next three days, however, as he was busy with work. You felt your heart dropped when he muttered an apology before ending the call.

-That night-

You lie still in your bed, waiting for the effects of the medication to kick in. Unsurprisingly, you were back in the small room, but things were slightly different now. There was no eerie giggling, no malicious whispering of cryptic messages. You weren't bound the worn wooden chair in the center of the room – you were standing in front of it, facing you. You heard footsteps, but they were not heavy and threatening like before, they were soft, as if the owner was trying to sneak up on you. You quickly spun around, only to see nothing behind you. The footsteps had stopped when you had turned, leaving you in silence again.Your wary eyes studied every corner of the room, seeing nothing. When you turned back to face the chair, you almost jumped out of your skin. The man you had begun referring to Anti was now sitting in the chair, leaned forward with his elbows on his knees. The hood was pulled up again, hiding his face. His thin, bony fingers were laced together, and his leg bounced silently. Suddenly, he stopped. You heard the faint giggling again, only to have it grow louder as he leaned back, shrugging the hood off.

"You all said my name..." The sound of his voice was rough, yet it clearly gave away the instability of his being. "You all wanted more...yet here I am, and you think you can just visit the shrink and I'll just *POOF* disappear? Is that it?!" The sound of his voice bounced off the walls as he stood quickly, the chair falling behind him. In an instant, he was in your face, his bony fingers now wrapped around your throat. He shoved you against the wall, his grip tightening. You felt the breath leave your body. He began to laugh again, this time it was not a faint giggle – it was a full on cackle full of malice. It grew louder as his grip tightened, the rough stone of the wall digging into your back as he pressed you harder against it. Darkness started to ebb in, clouding your sight of him, when he leaned forward. His face was so close to yours that you could feel the warmth of his breathe when he whispered, "Say Goodbye..."

“Make That Cake” is a song by American rapper LunchMoney Lewis, released on September 6, 2019, through Kemosabe and Columbia Records. The song, produced by Lewis himself, features a guest appearance from fellow Kemosabe artist, American singer and rapper Doja Cat, who co-wrote the song with Lewis.[1]

Background and promotion[edit]

The original version of the song was premiered on June 28, 2019, three months before the remix was released as a single.[2] A music video for the original version was uploaded via Lewis’ YouTube account on July 15, 2019.[3] On September 6, 2019, Lewis uploaded the music video for the remix featuring Doja Cat on his YouTube account.[4] The video for the song was released simultaneously and was directed by Chris Moreno.[5][6]

Critical reception[edit]

Writing for The Fader, Sajae Elder praised both Lewis and Doja Cat’s rapping, describing it as “laidback flows” and also described the song as a “bouncy track”.[7] Milca P. of the website HotNewHipHop wroteː “On the cut, Lewis and Doja match off on similar flows as the track arrives attached to an equally eclectic clip directed by Chris Moreno.”[8] Rj Frometa of Vents described the song as “a glitchy hip-hop beat backed by stirring vocals”, addingː “With lyrics developed using clever word play, Lunch has created an entertaining track that belongs on every summer playlist.[9] AllHipHop added to their blog, “LunchMoney Lewis returns with Doja Cat and all that cake”.[10]

Zelda has a minus world

Listen, everyone. It’s not every day that a new fact comes to light regarding a game that came out more than 30 years ago. And I happen to love it when retro games get broken in fabulous and entertaining ways. So the news that The Legend of Zelda for NES has a minus world like Super Mario Bros and others hit me like like a freight train.

The phenomenon was discovered by Youtuber SKELUX, who starts off his video with a quick explanation of how minus worlds work. If you think about an NES game as a big file, there are places where graphics are stored, sounds and music are described, and of course level layouts and enemy logic are kept.

As a player, you are expected to navigate the structured parts of this file, namely the game world — level 1, 2, 3, this or that dungeon or town, etc. But there are ways to escape that structure by exploiting flaws in the game’s code, letting you run free in portions of the game’s data that aren’t meant to be “real” levels — yet the game’s engine will interpret the data as best it can, producing in some cases pretty wacky but still navigable levels. This type of thing gets its name from Super Mario Bros, where you could easily warp to a buggy level “-1” and progress from there.

Zelda and other games often use data trickery to get around the natural limitations of 8-bit computing and severely restricted storage space. For instance, did you know that in order to store them more efficiently, Zelda’s dungeons all fit together like giant tiles?

I just about lost my mind when I found out about that. Note that the above is two 16×8 grids set one on top of the other.

As Skelux explains, the overhead map is similarly divided, except the bottom “half” isn’t actually filled with map data. And although there are cheats that let you walk through walls, the game’s code detects when you reach an invalid map coordinate and returns you to the starting location. But a little hackery takes that safety measure out of play and the result:

A new world!

And a horribly buggy one, as it turns out right from the start. Octoroks are shooting boomerangs out of their snouts; the old man on one screen tells you it’s dangerous to go alone, then next door says “leave your life of money”; a Molblin caterpillar shoots fireballs at you; glitchy inverted witch women swarm the statues of Death mountain; and so on.

It’s a strange, hilarious world and one that obviously was not crafted but is simply created on the fly by the game’s engine attempting to make sense of the data it’s reading. It isn’t canon.

This type of video game archaeology is endlessly fascinating to me, because it demonstrates both the fragility and the robustness of these venerable pieces of software — and, of course, the enduring love and interest they engender in fans. Another one that recently absorbed my attention was the explanation of parallel dimensions inside Super Mario 64 and how sliding between them lets you beat a level with only half a press of the jump button.

That’s all. Please return to your ordinary lives, which now likely seem just a bit more ordinary now that you know one more magical secret of the Legend of Zelda.
