Kotallo asking Aloy to accompany him to test out his new mechanical arm and then killing a machine together is really just the Tenakth way of taking someone out on a date.
You can't convince me otherwise.

I love you, episode where Ash and Pikachu get crushed by a falling chandelier and die, then figure out the key to immortality by possessing their own corpses.
I love you, concept for a human-based magic system that was introduced in an Advanced Gen movie, sneezed on by the writers of DP a couple of times and then abandoned immediately after, save for Journeys, a whole five generations after the original movie came out.
I love you, movie where Arceus threatens to kill everyone if they don’t find his cool rock, so they go back in time and end up having to save their evil shitass god from drowning in liquid metal.
I love you, anime exclusive gimmick where you and your Pokémon become a fucked up spiritually linked hivemind who can feel each other’s pain that was dumped and retconned into hell after XY ended.
I love you, episode where Ash meets a ghost and mistakes him for a living person because his aura powers make him completely unable to tell the difference and the ghost kid never once questions why he’s suddenly able to be perceived.
I love you, part in the aforementioned ghost kid episode where Ash uses his own bullshit ghost magic to transfer his senses to the ghost kid so that he can pet the fluffy mouse.
I love you, batshit insane Ash era Pokémon anime lore. Please never change.

It's interesting how the episode highlighted the themes of inheritance and passing on the torch through both Amethio and Liko receiving something (a Terastal Orb, meant to make Amethio stronger, and an adventure log, meant to guide Liko further) from Hamber and Diana respectively.
Roy got his Ancient Pokeball from his grandfather, Liko got her pendant (now turned Terapagos) from her grandmother, and Amethio got a Terastal Orb from Hamber (he is probably not related to him but still an elder figure in his life).
To a lesser extent, because Nanjamo isn't as old as the grandparents figures, Nanjamo is a kind of "senpai" figure to Dot in terms of video making and being a livestreamer and the episode highlighted that too (since she asks Liko and Roy to take care of Dot for her). Dot looks up to her and Nanjamo is clearly happy to see her making friends.
Either way, that's why the situation with Amethio feels different from Liko and Roy to me because his setting intentionally goes against the themes set up for them. In their cases, they are given options and gently pushed forward. Liko and Roy had Diana and Friede protecting them against Rayquaza in HZ033, Amethio was alone. Liko and Roy come out of their training against Diana feeling much more optimistic and realizing that they still have potential to grow, while Amethio comes out of his own training aware of his limits and feeling like he is not enough. Liko and Roy are encouraged to follow their own dreams, while Amethio is trying to fulfill someone else's wish. Rakua is Gibeon's wish, not Amethio's.
I really wonder what direction they'll take now, especially since Amethio is encouraged to continue on his current path (a path fueled by frustration and hastiness so far).. His scene in the opening mentions running towards his own future.

Eddie, high out of his mind, rambling on and on and on about Steve. Yeah, he drones on about how good he looks (its a crime that he's that hot). Yet, Eddie's going all philosophical even, talking about soulmates and alternate universes where they are together. He's saying this to the guy who's sitting next to him. Grey at his temples, a few wrinkles around his eyes.
It's Steve, but Eddie is convinced it isn't because he never noticed the signs of aging before

Decorating beaches that feel somewhat realistic is so difficult for me; they usually end up looking chaotic and messy. Like I want a structure but a structure with a sense of playfulness on top of it. I'm not sure I make sense but does anyone have good advice for nice beaches?

You know what? It's my birthday in a few days. I'm gonna treat myself with something completely and utterly self-indulgent that I'm gonna try not to delete in shame later.
Poppy and Psycho in a Modern AU would totally play Animal Crossing. Neither of them are gamers, but Poppy's coworker recommended her the game, and she introduced it to her boyfriend after falling in love with the relaxing and cheery atmosphere of Animal Crossing. Because she got into it first, she's the mayor or island representative and thus in charge of making the big decisions of the town or island, but they still collaborate together, leave cute letters for each other, and have fun making their own little town.
