Okay so here’s my thoughts on why Joel took the shiv out when he got stabbed instead of leaving it in (I know there’s some controversy ab this)

1. It made sense because it would have been worse to leave it in BECAUSE they’re galloping away on the horse and that shit would have been tearing up his insides??

2. He was in disbelief that he allowed himself to get stabbed and Ellie had to save him again so he really wasn’t thinking clearly when he pulled the shiv out

3. Considering he was sitting right against the horn of the saddle, there’s a LIKELY chance that shit would have stabbed him even deeper from the motion

Steve keeps brushing off Eddie’s flirting and thinking he isn’t interested while putting his all into flirting. Eddie is losing his mind until eventually he snaps. i'm still so incredibly excited about this. it's been some months since the story event that caused these scars, but i wanted SO BADLY to be able to see what they'd actually Look like... & Here They Are.

ruporas rendered the scars So Well, i just cant stop Looking at them... there's a Fresh & a Healed version, which ruporas was kind enough to give me without additional charge (Thank U Again😭😭) so i get to see what it looks like at different stages.

Lichtenberg Figures. in terms of actual scarring, lightning strikes that people survive don't tend to leave permanent scars, but the lichtenberg figures that they (usually temporarily) leave behind are just So Cool... Now, what happens when you get someone who can survive an amount of electricity/lightning that would be Frankly Lethal to any normal human person?

okay so I know we only have two data points (Magnus and Barry), but what if all the human last names on the IPRE homeworld were actually a little silly. like in d&d lore it's usually gnomes that are supposed to be the silly ones, but what if humans got to be the silly ones on the two-sunned planet. as a treat. what if it was actually pretty common for human last names in general, not just Bluejeans or Burnsides, to take the form of "[silly adjective or verb] + [silly plural noun]" in a sort of portmanteau, that also has a ring to it as a conjoined phrase

Robin watches as Steve leans against the counter, his legs splayed put behind him as far as they can go. He dragged his foot across the floor as he watched the objection of his affection browse for a movie. Steve’s face was bright pink, and he was biting his lip with his face tucked into the palm of his hand as he watched Eddie move about the video store.

"Hey, Steve?" Robin asked.

"Yeah?" He said, not looking away from Eddie.

Eddie finally found what he was looking for, placing it on the counter. He only had eyes for Steve.

"Hey, big boy, your hair is looking particularly good today. Did you do something different?" Eddie asked, winking at him.

"No, just what I always do," Steve said, touching his hair, and giggled.

Robin stared at her best friend. He fucking just giggled. Giggled!

"Oh my God, we're both hopeless," Robin muttered.
