Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog!

For those who do not know, I am The CEO, names are not necessary, and I am the Chief Executive Officer of Ethereal Inc. A Multiversal travel company and technology manufacturer. We help you explore the Ways of the Multiverse!

I have made my blog for a public outreach project, so I am more closely tied to my most loyal customers. My ask box is always open if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or complaints about my company. PR said I should talk to the public more.

I love cats! I even have one of my own named Hyades. She's my little 4-eyed weirdo.

I am a graduate of ISCUT and Deer College, with multiple degrees in various fields.

I am not only just the head of Ethereal Inc. I am also a master candy maker! I even own a small candy shop as a side business

I am vegetarian. I prefer a plant based diet, and I do not like the idea of harming animals.

A DJ Mix / Live Performance Review

CW: visuals contain fake blood, religious imagery, 2016 memes & political references

One of my personal favourite DJ mixes & live sets of all time is christtt's first proper attempt at a live show, what will be the start of several great mixes he would go on to do.

christtt is a plunderphonics & vaporwave producer who at the time had just gotten out of his first big break in the vapor scene with the release of his fourth album no lives matter on March 2016. To put it lightly, the title of that album has aged, but the album itself had a lot less to do about politics and way more to do about death and the afterlife in Hell, especially as this was made surrounding the ten year anniversary of his father's passing.

It's one of my favourite vaporwave albums of all time and it completely pushes the boundaries of what minimal can be done with its sample editing in order to effectively recontextualise & communicate strong & potent feelings of dread, despair & suffering that carry this entire concept album forward. It's incredible on that front, with its earliest highlight judas inside being remixed & featured as the closer of this mix, prefaced particularly by snippits of the songs directly sampled in that and its prior intro offline: HEALTH's New Coke and Genesis's Please Don't Ask.

Before you get to that incredibly explosive finale of that mix, you are first introduced to hauntingly elegant art pop from the likes of d'Eon & Nils Bech with some brilliant loops thrown into them, followed by even more breathtaking abstract electronica produced by Vaervaf, HELLCOM & Oneohtrix Point Never. After their crescendos, you're treated to a pair of frantic, eccentric & playful IDM beats provided by VHS Head & Extreme Animals before christtt uses all that came before this moment as a taste of what appeals & inspires his latest work at the time before happily guiding you in through the gates of Hell and taking you through the plunge.

This is an absolutely stellar mix, only 26 minutes in length and he spends that entire runtime showcasing his unique palette, his great ear for song editing, his seamless transitions and what marks one of the first true landmarks of his entire career as an artist & creative. Please give it a listen!

To change things up a bit, I'll do this for my half-serious side project, The Dotted Line (A CLOCKWORK ORANGE x SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION), an experimental horror comedy in which an inmate nicknamed after an Al Pacino movie navigates the chaotic and dangerous world of a medium security American prison while plotting his escape. ummm weellll little secret! There was a project to make me real. Real by I mean like “in the fleshsies!!” but it failed so it never went public!! and then they gave me a blog. Ahehhehhehhheeee

and the anime was pretty funny! the theme song was mr roboto female version (nightcore) and it went so hard!!! I was like a corporate businesswoman who turned into a magical girl but I’m pretty sure my power was just. Shooting people. Monsuier m is a normal guy!!

tbh if i had the confidence or the mental strength to create a MAP (multi animator project) the song would be Mr. Roboto by Stix and each MAP part would be about a different robot character of the animators choosing.

Yeah, the tech panel wasn't as brutal but at the same time I also feel like everyone skated better here? Maybe it was just a more relaxed event overall and people had their friends and families there. Alicia and Paul - wow, they skated lights out, they're one of my favorite teams and it's great to see them thrive (and make good lift decisions to protect his shoulder). Christina and Anthony maybe got a little too overexcited here lol and overpowered the program, but it's the first outing after all. They might need to recut the last ~1/3 of the program or use a different piece there, it kinda went on and on and it ran out of steam almost while they were still going hard. Hannah and Ye looked good as always but for whatever reason their program looked a bit emptier than I expected based on the practice videos they'd posted. That's an easy fix, though. The Swiss team I think the boy got a back or leg spasm or something? It's good that he knew to stop before the lift went up. Lily and Nathan have made insane progress under IAMO, he was even projecting well and looking at her, so they're managing to pull him out of his shell as well. I agree on the music - they either need to make a more seamless mashup or use fewer pieces. Olivia looked amazing here and Tim is getting there, they'll naturally need some time to gel. The Mr Roboto program is mad fun. Just a very enjoyable event overall and some iconic costumes already.

all the judges for senior ice dance here are Canadian except Judge 3 Michela Cesaro, who is an ISU judge for Italy and also a tech specialist. she was at Lake Placid as judge 2 for the senior international and the tech controller for juniors last week. so she saw 4 of the senior IAMO teams there. some of them had better skates here, others had better skates last week. i enjoyed the top programs and performances here more than last week too. this event has a totally different feel- Lake Placid is in a huge arena with a small audience. this is in a small one with an enthusiastic audience, and very few of the teams travelled far to get here, so even though Lake Placid is pretty easygoing and not formal, this one does feel warmer
